Review of Super 8 2*

Quite possibly the worst experience with a hotel ever… From the time of check in this place was horrible. We are from the local area and didn’t want to drive home after a New Years party. Little did we know that they require a $200 cash deposit, on check in, they said a credit card could be used but they wouldn’t guarantee the deposit would be returned! (Totally can not find this posted anywhere on their site so be prepared to bring cash or get sent to the neighboring gas station to use the atm) Of course if you paid in advance it will be too late to cancel when you get there so either you find $200 CASH for the deposit or lose the cost of the room. Very poor business practice for a national hotel chain. The room was gross, there was a dirty bar of soap in the drain of the bathtub on arrival to the room. On check out they refused to give us our full deposit back because one of the sheets were dirty. Never again will I stay at a super 8 hotel or Wyndham owned hotel. So just be prepared to give them additional money that no other hotel I have ever stayed in would ever require. (A deposit is one thing but straight up lying and saying if the sheet comes clean they will send me the rest of the deposit) I wouldn’t be surprised if they pocket the cash they rob from you as a little bonus It is quite sad that a chain of hotels that seemed to have prided themselves with great and affordable hotels could allow this type of stuff to go on, but if it is allowed here in Nampa it is probably allowed at all of their locations.
