Review of Red Roof Inn Perry 2*

One word: Untrustworthy. Seen this hotel listed for $41 on Google. Went in and paid for a room plus my $10 pet fee. The girl behind the counter told me the total price and I thought to myself “that's high”, but I figured it was due to the high hotel tax and a $5 fee state of transportation fee that I seen at another hotel. The next morning I got up and started thinking about the high charge, again. I looked at the receipt and I had been charged $59.99 instead of the $41. At check-out, I notified the front desk clerk of the mistake. I showed her on my phone where is displayed the $41 rate. She was nice about it and admitted they jacked the rates up because of a rodeo in town. But she said, the “Manger David would take care of it because he was a nice guy”. She left him a note and asked me to call him at noon. I did this but was notified David didn't come in on Sunday. Monday when I did finally get a hold of David, he told several things from we didn't have a rate this low, to I had to click on to reserve the room to get the real price and eventually "do what you gotta do". So here we are, me disputing his charge with my CC company and leaving this review. People that treat people dishonestly do not deserve our business. The bathrooms are outdated and the tub drain and shower head were broken. Sprayed water everywhere. You know I could say some positives about the hotel, but why should I treat this establishment better than they do their guest? In short, Dishonest / You get what you pay for as long as you don't mind being over charged.
