I was part of the hurricane relief, got a hotel room there and I had to leave do two orders being sent up. I stay there for under an hour and now I was told that I cannot get a refund from corporate because the hotel refuses to give me a refund will never stay here again if you are a servicemember or a first responder do not waste your money this place is an absolute ripoff and a joke.

I recently paid $72 for a two bedroom with a discount, this place was filthy! the pool wasn't open, the tub was moldy and there were stains on the sheets and towels that needed to be replaced. There were also roaches, I started to think the receptionist gave me the worst room since I got a discount but I talked to other people who rented at this same place and they had the same problem.

It’s a decent and clean hotel. Bathroom is very clean and kept up with no mold or mildew etc. There are no foul odors in the room, this is my second stay here. It may not be in the league of the Holiday in or Sheraton, but it’s a great place to stay. I’m very picky about where I lay my head at The staff is EXTREMELY nice, respectful. When I say staff I’m speaking in reference to the evening Clerk by the name of PIPER When I say EXCELLENT customer service, she goes above and beyond. I’m of Hispanic and African American origin, Piper shows no form of being biased. She gives off this aura of LOVE! PEACE! & HAPPINESS! Like she can make a mean Apple Pie

Room was not ready when expected even though we made a reservation. The carpet was squishy and dirty, not enough towels in room and management was very rude when we asked for more towels. Pool doesn’t even have water in it and has caution take all around it and hasn’t been in commission for who knows how long. I also woke up in the middle of the night extremely itchy and had bed bug bites all over me as well as my child. There were stains on the bed as soon as we got there as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you literally have no where else to go or your homeless. Pictures on the website were VERY misleading. Looks nothing like that in real life. This place is wayyy to expensive for what you get in real life.

Rooms are fine everything was clean, but staff is not friendly, espically for the $80 I paid for one night. Seems like the whole family, kids parents and grandparents, run the place and live in the office area. Breakfast was not that great. They seemed like they only put one or two of each thing out and when you asked if there was more it was a chore for them to go check. Definitely felt as if I was intruding when I was in the office and dining area. Would not recommend if you can find something else for the same price.

Every thing loaded with lovely employee, breakfast, large room, safe, pool, Applebees next door. I always stop here on summer trip.

Stayed here over the weekend & it was beyond awful! The people in the office seemed as if they could care less if we were there or not. The room seemed dirty and was incredibly small for a 2 bed! The tub was clogged & the shower curtain wouldnt stay up; on top of sounding like there was some type of animal trying to get through the bathroom wall! The bed was held up by wooden blocks and fell off of them the first night! The continental breakfast was raisin bran, corn flakes, and a make your own waffle or toast! And the ONLY reason we booked this place is because of the POOL and it had NO WATER in it! Will definitely NOT be staying again!

Place was a little dated. Did not want to shower here because the towels were stained. I skipped the shower and waited for the next hotel stop. The front desk employee was super nice though and this place does accept dogs.

Great hotel. Easily accessible from I-75. Rooms are spacious, clean and affordable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Pet-friendly. Traveling with kids (and a dog) can be a huge undertaking, but motels like this make it a lot easier!

Well when we stayed there a couple months back we enjoyed ourselves immensely, our room was clean and comfortable and the girl at the front desk, I think her name was Mandi? anyway, she was very friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, pointed us in the good restaurants in perry and directed us to the grocery stores… she was awesome, thanks! we'd definitely stay here again, I really have no complaints.

Under new management, but found a dead roach on the carpet, and one other of our rooms had roaches in the fridge. The carpets we're stained in one room and if you go barefoot, your feet turn black. The pool cloudy and bugs in it.

Booked on Priceline so price was good, but everything else horrible, 1st off when you first arrive 10 pm they make you use a small window on side of office as if tho someone was going to rob them lol no lobby access at that time, so greeting was not all that great, 2nd like always they never have available what they are advertising, I booked a 1st floor non smoking, they gave me a second floor (you know how hard it is to take a wheel chair up the stairs? ) I told the lady at front desk, her answer was sorry all 1st floor rooms are taken regardless of what your res. Says, ok so we are stuck like chuck, we’ll make due, so we finally make it to our room and it smells horrible (like old stale nicotine/tobacco! ), so I went back downstairs and I told them they gave me a smoking room and I requested non smoking, luckily they had a non smoking room available so they exchanged it on the other side of the building so the haul was not short lol, finally we get in the new room and right when we are settling in bugs start coming out of behind all the furniture, so again now it’s midnight and down to the office again, I tell the lady and her answer was sorry, maint.

Our nonsmoking room smelt just like a smoker's room as if it has been one since they opened the place back in the 80s. It was so bad, when I got home, I had to put my overnight back outside in the sun to air out for THREE days and I can still smell it slightly. Our room was one level above tent camping only because it had air conditioning and running water. I would NOT stay here with my wife. We only came to the hotel at night and to shower and sleep. We only stayed here because everything was book due to a few college graduations going on in the area and a fishing tournament all in the same weekend when we decided to have a fishing trip ourselves that worked with our work schedules. This hotel was the last hotel that we had to choose from versus tent/RV camping. It was hot enough outside where the gnats were bad so we appreciated being able to get away from them at night. Oh, I almost forgot, we stayed here for three nights and we had to get our key cards reprogrammed every day. Someone else on our trip in a different room had to call the front desk to get them to open their room every time with the master key because their key card reader was not work at the time of our stay, super inconvenient! Giving this place a 2 star only because the water was hot when needed and the air conditioning worked the whole time. Everything else about it was bad. Just bad. Stay away unless there is no where else to stay.

New owners are trying to overcome some negative past reviews. Clean and comfortable. Has the waffle machine!

There was nothing available and this place had a room with 2 double beds. It was fairly clean but the mattresses are way past needing changed.

We rented 4 rooms. We were charged double for 1 of the rooms and the staff tried to say they didn't even though we had proof. 2 of the rooms needed the dirty sheets changed upon arrival because they were filthy. The toilets were dirty and the showers were moldy. There were dead roaches that were not cleaned up by housekeeping. The pool was green. The locks on 2 of the rooms kept stopping working and had to wait several times for maintenance to let us in and he was annoyed. The continental breakfast was cereal and toast. This placewas horrible and will never stay again.

Clean prices where ok. Nice area.

Property looks lot better than picture on website. Property had bee improve lot in last year. Big breakfast like big hotel. Always excellent cleaning. WiFI speedest.

The “manager” Piper was the rudest front desk person I’ve ever dealt with at a Hotel. Had to cancel my reservations because of a mess up on there end. Reserved two rooms with rollout beds and upon arrival I was informed that they don’t have roll out beds. I asked if I could get a discount on a 3rd room since the rollouts were not available and was treated very poorly, degraded and told to go to another hotel. Had to call choice hotels to get my cancellation approved and had to find another hotel last minute after driving 15 hours. There are plenty of other hotels in the area with good hospitality. This is not one of them. Stay away!

Staff was friendly, room was clean (well it wasn’t filthy) — was going to let my son swim in the indoor pool & when he was about to jump in I noticed it was full of fungus.

I like Econo Lodge because they are pet friendly. The people that work there are nice and friendly. It's right off of interstate 75. And they have free Wi-Fi, Indoor Pool, and a Hot Breakfast every morning. And plenty parking space. The owners go above and beyond to make their guest comfortable. They also have patios to rooms. Nice to sit on in summer time.

Not very updated but good people safe place and clean.

This place was ok. The walls were dirty, the bathroom tub was not the best. The microwave stunk like pee. The beds were good. The one we stayed in had hollow walls because we could hear next door. They do have a nice breakfast place but its not a full on Buffett. Before we left this hotel there were roaches crawling on the wall and then there were baby roaches. This place could really use some fixing up on unless they sent us to a dirty part of the hotel.

Pretty decent hotel with comfortable beds and a nice tv… has a glassed in pool… not pool season while I'm here but still thinking of going… its got your pretty usual breakfast in the morning… rooms were nice and clean when we arrived and the showers have nice water pressure that can be really hot really fast… and stay that way a while if you like long hot showers… of course somewhat hard to understand the clerk so what we thought the price was going to be ended up being different but bc of the events in town and seeing most places were sold out I was fairly happy… OH the rooms also have a sliding back door that leads out to a Simi porch with small concrete pad and walls that extend out so can t just step right out and see your neighbor… overall I enjoy it here and would definitely stay again.

This was very nice room. Very clean. Stayed at an in last night and was craving a bath. They didn't shower only. Econo lodge has both. Thank you.

Decent, man clean, and bug free. We was stranded in perry flordia for 4 days after hitting pig in road late night over new years weekend. Would stay there in a pinch. Plus side you could smoke in rooms.

Great value, simple accommodations, all the basics provided, free breakfast a plus — ask for a quiet room due to highway noise.

Room and bathroom was dirty. Brown marks on the bathroom wall, dont know if it was blood or something else. Dirty or outworn towels. Stayed for 1 night to get some sleep before we got on the road. Slept for 4 hours and skipped breakfast.

Room ok, Furniture outdated. Cleanliness in the Bathroom should be improved. There was paper behind the Door and on the Hair Dryer stuck long hair. Reception very nice. Breakfast like almost everywhere in the Motels, after all, there was Philadelphia Cheese. The powder scrambled eggs can be dispensed with anyway. For 1 Night ok.

I’m a diesel mechanic, 6.0s to be exact, so I’m used to dirth and filth but this place is way dirtier than the worst 6.0. As a man who prides himself as a chewing tobacco enthusiast, it’s very common for me to have slobber and spit on me chin and shirt but this hotel looks like everyone in Perry took turns spitting on the floors and walls. Don’t even try to walk barefoot. It feels like they soaked the carpet in rotella. Let’s talk about the bugs. I moved rooms to get away from the bedbugs. Yes bedbugs. I moved only to find roaches and lots of them. The third night the bedbugs followed me to my room. I started to itch again. Being a portly fellow it’s hard to kill roaches and itch bedbugs at the same time. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The new management has just totally rimwrecked this place. KFC delightful.

Not worth a $100 a night, no better then a motel 6. Stopped here after checking the other places in town they were around $45 dollars more but after dropping $5000 for Disney World I tried to be a tightwad… Lesson learned! Next time I'll pay the extra for the Hampton!

Due to the FL evacuation of hurricane Irma I made reservation for my 80 year old father and his wife to stay at the Econo Lodge in Perry. I was called by the hotel staff to confirm their stay. The had been on the road for 16 hour in bumper to bumper traffic and arrived at Econolodge @ 1:30AM EXHAUSTED! They were told that they did NOT have a room available! They had a confirmation #. Offer my name and theirs and still NO ROOM! They had nowhere to stay! I was told that the room would be held for them until 7AM. I called that location SEVERAL time and could not get an answer. My family will NEVER stay at that location and I will share this experience with others. VERY disappointed! Shame on you Perry Econolodge!

This was the worst place I ever stayed first room they put my sister-in-law and I in beds weren't made the next room had ice bucket above the toilet bowl and dried urine on the toilet. They were rude to my sister-in-law at front desk cause she asked for ice bucket us not knowing at the time they put them in bathroom who does that nasty! I have pictures to prove this. I am a reward member I can't believe that they allow this very disappointed.

I have to evacuated Miami for the hurricane they received us, is clean, Nice and close to restaurants,, and everything.

If I could give a zero I would! We had to be moved to a different room bc our toilet quit working. They changed our rooms but when I forgot something in the other room after I just returned those keys they would not let me go get it. They said it would be thrown away by maintenance. This is by far the worst choice hotel I ever stayed in. In the parking lot you have to not park by the hotel unless you want ants in your car. It's been truly horrible and non of the people at office barely Speak English. It's horrible.

Cheap place to stay. Not bad. Not good either. Kinda middle of the road. You get what you pay for. Front desk people were nice.

I was passing thru on my way back home to Kansas City and stopped off for the night. It was real nice. Beds were great. I met the owner and he was really nice. The price was right. If I ever come back here I would stay here again.

Hotel is very outdated… Needs some upgrades and work. Bathrooms in particular are very run down looking, particularly the tub and toilet. Doors does not seem to shut and secur properly… Nowhere I would select again in the future. Being that it wasn't too many other selections we just kind of decided to settle in the best to our ability. Microwave was nasty as well. Went to warm up some food and it was a nasty spill in there. Yuck!

Piper at the front desk is a gem. She is very personable. It was nice to see such a friendly face after being on the road 8 hours.

All the hotels in Perry are older buildings, some renovated and some not. This one is not, but don't be fooled into thinking that's a bad thing. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. There are new TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, and all the bathroom supplies you normally expect. I was quite pleased with my quiet night of sleep and I will return for a future stay.

This is not a 5-star hotel, but for the price, we were very happy! Ground level has sliding doors that open onto sort of a patio. You can park right there and have easy access to outdoors and your car. Pet friendly, clean, room had everything that's needed, except for a hair conditioner. Piper at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful during our late night arrival. I'd stay here again!

The room was clean… No shampoo/conditioner or lotion. Took 2 threadbare towels to dry off. Wifi wasn't very good and I skipped breakfast. *edit — Manager called me up and assured me that it was a housekeeping error and will be fixed.

Clogged toilet, and roaches outside. Unsanitary. No toilet paper.

Great motel stayed there one night and the service was great no spa but pool was nice and clean and the rooms was great love the new flat screen tvs and the beds were very comfortable my wife and I will be staying here every time we are in perry ga good job econo lodge.

Improvements needed iron burn on carpet pool was nasty hot tub didn't work a 59.00 dollar stay for 1 night turned in too 70.00 the breakfast was a cook yourself sad. Would not recommend.

Hotel himself is good. Convenient location. Easy excess easy out. Applelbee's next door. Big pool. Staff service is good.

The location itself is great and easy to find. My husband had booked the room online and we were suppose to have non smoking, but we're put into a smoking room, which was absolutely disgusting. I tried to see if we could be moved since I had a child with me and the only rooms available were all smoking. So after going to Walgreens (which was in very close proximity) and purchasing a bunch of air fresheners and candles, I got the room good enough to sleep in for the night. My niece, who was looking forward to the pool was then very sad to realize there was no water in it. The room itself wasn't very clean and you don't get any complementary items other then a tiny bar of soap. The free breakfast was a joke. Will know not to return to this place.

It is what it is, an inexpensive motel. It has flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. I wouldn't stay here with my wife but it's good when in town on buisness or with the guys. It is within walking distance to several restaurants.

Excellent room with ALL the amenities. Good Wi-Fi. Great price. Nice staff. 1/3 the price of two major chain hotels. I would much rather be here.

It is nice the staff is friendly but it is a cheap hotel and just not my style I'm staying here for work and just don't get much of a choice.

MY WIFE AND 3 KIDS AND I ARE NOW IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER STAYING HERE due to a rash all over from their towels. The room was ok slidding door broke wouldnt lock properly BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE! Heated swimming pool lol THATS A JOKE. The coffee maker in the room was broke the coffee packet was nasty. They charged us $240 for 3 nights for THIS ARE YOU KIDDING ME I AM PISSED.

Comfortable bed. Lousy pillows, room needs remodel and mildew smell may have you coughing up a lung in the morning.

Ok, on a rain filled day and needed to dry & bed down for the night. Good all in all but not great. Fair priced and friendly staff… could be a little better, but keep at it. Perry fl. The people are nice… the rooms were clean. We only had one channel but I'm not a TV person. The pool is firm. Cleaning staff did a GOOD JOb! my stay for the week was great. They had trouble with the machine of the keys but, no big deal just haded 2 go to the front office get that Fixs… outside was clean trash can were always change. Building is good shape. A-c works PERFecT! I will stay again… I stay here for a week, along with my 1 year old and my 9 month year old… my husband stay on the other hotels since he's been working here n we came down to visit he said he picked here he said this hotel is right for the money n family friendly… room 109… I don't know why negative comments r said but this is not a bad hotel… holiday inn is great too he quote…

2 double beds, 3 people. Free Wi-Fi. Very nice staff that want to make sure your comfortable during your stay. Rooms are large. Furnishings are a little outdated, however everything is clean and the sheets smell nice. Free breakfast was offered. Waffle maker, biscuits, gravy, cereal, danish, toast, donuts, boiled eggs, and juice. We came in late for breakfast at 9, breakfast ends at 9:30am and food was a bit stale at that point. Staff did come in and asked if we would like more of anything, new gravy, etc. So if you needed something they would probably make it and be happy to get it for you. Pool is in a green house like building in back, was a bit chilly when I tried it out but was clean. They have a hot tub but was empty. If you need something cheap and don't need all the new fixings, nice place. Make sure you get up early for breakfast.

Every time go to perry stay here. Always nice and room clean and get a free breakfast. Was nice has grill for cookout with family. Kids love the pool.

Every negative reviews found on TripAdvisor is true about this hotel. The ceiling tiles were drooping in our room, the floor in the bathroom was filthy and clearly haven't been mopped in months. The bathtub was stained with grim. The furniture was vandalized with ink pen graffitti and the Krem DeGraw was the nasel excrement we found on next to the bed on the wall.
