Review of Studio 6-Marietta, GA - Atlanta 2*

LETS start with a HIGHLY MUSTY suffocating odor as soon as I open my room door. NO, lets rewind to the front desk representative who was VERY rude! The lobby was very nice, just like the online pictures, so at this point I still have great expectations and that is the ONLY reason I didn't just walk away from the horrible person at the counter. Ok, now that I have my room key, I open the door, and am smacked in the face by the odor I first mentioned. It wasn't like a smokers funk, I have NO idea what it was, but lets just say my new Yankee Candle and a Glade Candle could not even be detected in the room after being lit for 5 hours. THE ONLY THING YOU COULD SMELL WAS THE FUNK! UGH! Now, I flick the light switch, and it's not working. So I leave the door wide open as im afraid because it's night and the room is DARK. So, I move to the next 3 lamps to NO avail! The only lights working were the bathroom lights. WHY JESUS? So at this point, I'm rushing to change clothes so that I can meet up with friends to celebrate my birthday. Bathroom is clean and so are the towels! YAY! However, I take off my shoes and I feel like Im standing on grits/sugar/sand or something, but to the naked eye I can't see anything specific, so I dust my foot and it's dark specks like the floor hasn't been cleaned since the hotel was first renovated. So, Im blown. I walk over to the bed that has stains on the comforter. Im not sure if it's DNA or not so I make sure to place ALL of my belongings by the closet area and on the large bathroom counter. After leaving and coming back with friends we are all slapped in the face with that horrid smell and you can't tell I left candles burning in there. We sit down only to see a creepy crawly climbing up the wall by the head board. The Wi-Fi isn't working b/c we are all trying to pull up a specific video and none of our devices were working. UGH! MAJOR BUST! The TV worked but you could hardly see the images because of the static. So everyone is annoyed and they leave. I bought a pillow and a blanket to lay in JUST so that I don't discover what those stains in the comforter are the hard way. When I awake I go down to complain about the Wi-Fi ONLY come BACK up locked out of my room so I go BACK down from 3rd floor to front office to find out my card was only programmed for the first day. Wtf!? I also found out I needed to GO BACK UP and bring my laptop down to them. Sigh. So I do it. THEN she has the Wi-Fi reset ONLY for it to go out again later. At this point Im over it, but I have spent my money and there is yet another night I have to be in this hot mess of a place. I leave and come back later to find out that house keeping has taken my beautiful jumbo gift bag, and left the damn floor a hot mess! UGH! I was SO PISSED it wasn't in the trash, it had important receipts in it as well! SO IM FUMING! Im ready to slap fire out of everybody, but I don't want to end up on youtube or worldstar so I leave. I didn't report half of my issues because the staff was so dag gum nasty and unhelpful. Most of them seemed like they hated their jobs and more importantly hated people. There is only ONE person that worked there who was pleasant, SLOW AS MOLASSES, but she was at least pleasant. When I tried to talk to house keeping they acted like they couldn't understand English. UGH! So needless to say I left, and did not return. I was PISSED, and I felt like I should have gotten at least half of my money back. I gave it 2 stars because the bathroom was at least clean, and the price was great, but EVERYTHING else was SO bad that I felt OVER CHARGED and suckered.
