Wi-Fi signal is weak, real pain while trying to work. Breakfast is not as bountiful as other hotels in the region. Staff was nice, price is right for what I needed. Close to Ft. Benning.

Superior staff with great attitude make this old structure a positive experience. Owners should be very appreciative of their motivated staff here.

I love this hotel! The staff is super friendly, it is absolutely stunning and my room was perfect. Not to mention the view I had from my window! If I ever need to rent a hotel again, I will definitely look into this one first! Cheap, friendly, clean, no bugs, and not very far from the heart of Columbus. Perfect package.

Stayed here a night after traveling for work! The best hotel I've stayed at the past week of traveling. When we walked in the room it smelled so clean and refreshing! Melinda went above and beyond for us! Will stay here on the next drive through for sure! 5

One night stay. 1. Fire alarm sounded & lodgers had to evacuate until fire fighters accessed the building. Laundry room was too hot which caused the sprinkler system to go off which resulted in the fire alarm sounding. 2. Hotel was said to be smoke free but smelled cigarette & herbal smoke during stay.

Horrible customer service! We made a reservation a few days prior to traveling from Austin Texas to Florida but wanted to make a stop at the national infantry museum. Well unfortunately with two children time of travel was extended greatly and we weren't going to make it to the hotel till 5am. Tried to cancel and they didn't try to help resolve or help our situation at all! We know it's the individual hotel that can make exceptions to policy. They weren't booked up so not like they were losing money while holding our room and turned down customers! We are staying at a different microtel! Melinda who picked up the phone was absolutely rude and told us we were being charged no matter what and that we have to deal with it because we aren't allowed to cancel or change reservation to a different location! Then has the nerve to tell me to have a wonderful night after keeping almost $100 for a room we won't be staying in.

Great place to stay. I didnt take the name for what it was. The rooms are small but clean The night shift person was not the nicest. She didnt respond or even make eye contact. The other ladies on evening shift and the next morning were nice funny and accommodating.

The Microtel Inn was a great place to rest. The bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was calming. Then the next day there was an actual breakfast to eat. If I ever have to spend the night in Columbus again it will be at the Microtel Inn.

There's a meeting room that's nice and roomy. My alumni had a meeting luncheon here back in December. It serves its purpose well. The staff are helpful…

Kids were infested by bed bugs, would not recommend. We stayed in the 4th floor. This picture is just a small part on his arm. His entire arm has been bite along with his face and neck. Daughter and myself was bitten to but not as bad. Had to throw away $1000 worth of clothing and the owner has not even tried to reach out to me about reimbursement since I filed a complaint. I have contacted a lawyer and the health department.

Nice rooms and an awesome staff took great care of us. Very clean and nice place to stay.

Wi-Fi doesn't work! Cable TV doesn't work! Hair in the tub! Boogers on the bathroom wall! Dusty corners in the room! Dirty/stained carpet! Need I say more? The only reason I gave a 1 star rating is because there was no option for 0 stars!

The staff was friendly enough and the room was clean. However the room was super super super tiny. Probably the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. It would probably be a good idea to confirm your room type before paying. If it is a full size room choose another hotel.

This place has bedbugs you can't sleep I don't recommend it.

Great customer service! My boyfriend booked a room here for us to stay for his graduation. The two young ladies at the front desk were very helpful. The young lady with the long hair was amazing. Any and everything we asked for she got it done right then and there. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

We had to stay here during hurricane Irma, the staff was friendly and very accomendating. I gave 3 stars because the hotel is dated. I wished that I was able to tell Carmon and Lydia good bye, but they where off duty when we checked out and to them I give 5 stars. I want these to young ladies to know that the guest in room 103 truly appreciate them, they made sure that we where comfortable and had everything we needed. Even though the hotel could use a face lift with the rooms overall it was always clean which was a plus because of the many dogs that were also guest; and I am very OCD. Breakfast was good, and plentiful. If I should every have to evacuate again they are on my list. God bless the entire staff.

First room was dusty and had a messed up toilet. Second room they changed us to has been real nice. Most workers have been super nice exspecially bree (sorry if I mispelled). The main issue is just location we are real close to the bad side of columbus. Just be wary. But the price and staff have made the stay enjoyable.

I stayed here in Oct and I was VERY IMPRESSED! The room was so clean, comfortable, and functional. I always bring my own antibacterial cleaners and I didn't find any dirt or dust on the entire room… that's a first! The bed was so comfy and the AC was quiet. The staff was wonderful! They were genuinely kind and helpful. I felt like I was staying at a 4-star hotel. When I visited in November the hotel was booked : (I stayed at another hotel and was horrified! Bugs, mold, dirt, hair, stains on the mattress, etc. I called this Microtel to see if they had any cancelled reservations, but unfortunately they could only accommodate me the following day. I would book with Microtel anywhere if I could! We loved this hotel!

Rooms were clean, bedding was clean but had some stains (ink) on the comforter. Good lower cost option for visiting Fort Benning.

Overall a decent hotel for the price. Staff was nice. Only issue is manager doesnt have daytime front desk stFf in. Until 8am. Breakfast starts at 630. Heard manyguests asking questions as did we and were told sorry. 1st shot doesn't come in until 8 Well most guests had to be out and about before then That's why most hotels bring 1st shift disk staff in at 7 so they can answer questions, solve issues etc. Rooms Could definitely be cleaned better. Old stains on sheets but they had been washed. Carpet needs a good cleaning. And in bathroom you could see housekeeping just mops open area. Alot of build up in corner and around commode. Breakfast is ok. Don't eat. The eggs. Powered which is fine but every morning gthese were WAY overcooked dry and no flavor at all. Pancake machine. Well ok. Stick with the bagels. It is very easy to get around area from this hotel. Pool looked clean weather didn't allow us to use.

I stayed here last month the staff was very pleasant for the most part! The rooms was unpleasant the bed was covered with bed bugs hair dirty sheets… the maintenance Man smelled of marijuana Was very unprofessional while taking out trash!

Need to fix internet services.

Wonderful experience! Friendly and polite service all week! I would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you are here to see your children at Fort Benning. The hotel is conveniently located to the base and downtown.

It's already a start of a HORRIBLE stay, found hair all over my linen on both beds, soda machines taking your money, found more hair in the tub, and what tops it off is my cousin found BED BUGS all over her bed and now her and her fiancee have bumps all over there body and face, and at first the hotel only tried to give her one night free and that's unacceptable the whole stay suppose to be FREE just nastiness. I should have noticed the 2 star that came up on my GPS. I definitely see why.

I enjoyed my stay. Very close to fort benning. Hardee's and gas station is 30 seconds away.

My family and I were in town for my brothers army graduation and stayed here for 3 nights. I had originally booked a reservation with the Microtel Inn and Suites on Fountain Court Dr but after they messed up my reservation and rudely told me that no other rooms were available a customer in their lobby told me about this Microtel Inn and I am so glad I stayed here instead. I was so happy to have called last minute and the front desk attendant (Tiffany, I think) was very helpful and friendly and gave me an awesome price for the other hotels mess up! The room itself was clean, spacious enough for 3 people, and came with all the amenities that we needed at a very affordable price. Its located next to everything and is about 10 minutes away from the graduation site at Fort Benning. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! There is no doubt in my mind that I will be staying here the next time I am in the area.
