We checked into this hotel as a place to stay close to the airport. When we checked in we were assigned room 861. We went to our room, it was ok. There was a slice down the TV screen, the vent in the shower was extremely dirty, and under our blankets, although it appeared clean, there were glittery stars — so the cleanliness is kind of questionable. The pillows were VERY flat. I went downstairs to request more (after attempting to ask a housekeeper who didnt speak english) and they told me they were out of pillows. It's a hotel. Seriously? Plus, one floor was closed for renovations. What about those pillows? Anyways, we order room service and when they picked up the phone they addressed us by name and agreed to deliver the food to room 861. Food came. All is good. However. We go to sleep around 10:30PM because we have to be out of the hotel around 4AM for a flight. And our phone begins ringing, not once, not twice, but three separate times during the night. We answered each and every time but it wasn't sufficient I guess? I also heard someone trying to get in the room. When checking out in the morning I ask why we were incessantly called all night. The man at the desk claims we were in room 863. Even though we went to room 861 (never had 863 in our minds), our card holder had 861 written on it, and room service delivered to 861. I offered to take him up to our room to prove it was 861, but he just ended the topic with us being in the wrong room and them needing to call us all night to figure out who was in the room. The situation still doesnt make sense to me, but this is his story. So, we got no sleep because of the unending calls, the flat pillows, and someone trying to enter our room (plus paper thin walls. The room next to us was leaving around 2am) I also might mention the AC didn't work to it's full potential, it was set at 60 but still very warm in the room, although the comforter was the heaviest one I have ever encountered. I'm trying to get a refund. I contacted the hotel and the manager was very nice, refunding parking and such, but she wouldn't refund the hotel cost because it was booked through Expedia. Expedia told me the hotel needs to refund the money. So now it's a battle to get my money back. I wouldn't stay here again. There are many hotels in the area, there's a Comfort Inn right across the street from here. I'd love to know what the true story is for why they were calling me all night, considering room service knew who was in the room when I called, addressing me by name when answering and everything. VERY unprofessional for the front desk people to think its acceptable to call us all night. Is this a normal hotel policy? Seriously.
