Clean, large, great staff.

Well where to start.
First and only trip to Atlanta for me based on my stay at this hotel.
It’s located in the middle of the ghetto. Homeless are living in the parking lot. Worst of all we were setting up the fold out couch for the grandkids. When my granddaughter who is 6 said grandma what’s this. She had a bullet in her hand that she found behind the couch. Just imagine if it gone off. Then when you try to complain they have no time for you. So long store short
DONT STAY HERE.

The room was not clean, has not been clean for a long time, the carpet is rotting due to the mold & mildew, there was something running down the door, couch stained, bathroom filthy bed uncomfortable, security lock broken and check in took more than 20 minutes. This place is disgusting stay at motel 6 it’s probably cleaner!

Everything is fine. I love the view through the window. It is close to the metro station. Beautiful location in Downtown Atlanta.

When we arrived at the hotel on Wed at 3 pm we had to wait 1-1/2 hours for our room to be cleaned. We were offered a packaged snack for the inconvenience but there wasn't anything to choose from. On the pro side, the lady at the desk offered a driver to get us to the State Farm Arena. There was only one working elevator and we were on the top floor. The tp holder came right out of the wall. There were no amenities for the money we paid. We had to pay $25 for parking in their lot as well, there was no fridge or microwave and only one place to eat across from the hotel but restaurant got orders wrong… no restaurant in hotel and no room service; the continental breakfast the next morning was ok though.

Super disappointed to pay $310 for a room that is lacking in basic necessities for a traveler. I’m staying for a race (running). I have food that I need to keep fresh and to be able to prepare for myself for dinner and breakfast. There’s no refrigerator. No microwave. I asked to have one sent up, which didn’t seem to be a problem per my conversation with the front desk, yet it never arrived. I have spoiled food and no dinner. Very unhappy.

FABULOUS staff and I enjoyed my stay.

The service here was excellent. The desk person was always attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a historic building. While the lobby was well renovated, there was cracked plaster in the ceiling of the bathroom. The snack selection at the suite store was limited, and unlike other hotels in downtown Atlanta there were no frozen dinners or alcohol. The furnishings in the room were clean and serviceable, but worn. The bed definitely had that "bare springs" feel. Despite these drawbacks, I'd probably stay here again because of how convenient it is to DragonCon.

I will never in life stay at this hotel. Staff are rude. Room smelled moldy. The tub drain didnt drain. Ceiling falling apart. No soda machine. The store had no beverage choices other than water. No fridge in the room. As a Hitlon honors member I have never received such horrible accommodations.

I rather I stay somewhere else, then this place, this was a last minute trip and all other hotels were booked solid for this Labor day weekend, bad service from the start I can see why they have vacancies. We wind up leaving a day earlier then expected, the bathroom was moldy, the rooms didn't even have a refrigerator, the place was dated, carpet was dirty, there was no parking. Could go on but I'm not. I know when to cut my losses. Not a Happy Customer.

Staff was very friendly but the room was not worth the price paid for 2 nights. A “suite” meant a room with a TV and worn out fold out couch and a separate bed area. The shower pressure was next to nothing and the knob kept coming loose.

Vince was very unprofessional in handling the 30 plus hotel guests who couldn’t get into their rooms because they hadn’t been cleaned. If you know you are full for two nights because of a major event in your city you first and foremost have staff to handle the influx and you make sure your staff understands the 100% satisfaction guarantee. Another huge issue is there was no manager on site! My husband and I might only be silver level honors members but the way I was treated was unacceptable!

A decent hotel in a good location in Downtown Atlanta. Walking g distance to restaurants, offices and the major local attractions. Easy access to Marta. The building it is in is older but they've done a good job at embracing this and adding it to the charm of the building.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:00 pm and were told our room would be ready at 3:00pm. We spent the afternoon walking around Downtown Atlanta and got back to the hotel at 5:30pm, tired, hot, and ready to just settle down in our room. We went to check back in and were told AT 5:30pm that our room was still not ready and we would need to wait another hour to check in. When telling us the staff was rude, care free and insincere so we waited. My mother has a previous knee injury that swelled up from all the walking and asked simply for a back of ice to help reduce the swelling. They were extremely rude to her and told her they wouldn’t give her any ice but, “If she needed medical assistance she should go find it. ” 20 minutes later he returned with a bag of ice and an actual smirk on his face, practically throwing the ice onto the table. The location is great but I would never recommend this hotel to anyone due to their horrid customer service and unwillingness to accommodate us while we’re doing our best to be patient for our room.

I don’t usually rate low on anything but lack of cleanliness but this has been the most exhausting trip ever because the front desk staff person was very rude and combative. As Hilton member, I know this an isolated incident but this needs to be corrected. I am not pleased because Check in should not be this frustrating.

I usually stay at Hampton Inns when I travel, never seen one so bad as this one. I agreed with the earlier facility "rundown" statement. The service quality is not good either. Personnel attitude is rigid and unfriendly.

This was the experience we have come to expect from Hampton Inns: clean, comfortable, and friendly. This was true from the helpful staff at check-in to the bedding and bathroom to the breakfast buffet to our checkout. Convenient to Georgia State and downtown attractions. We will be back.

A little outdated on some of the small things but a nice hotel over all. Very clean, good TV service, nice amenities and decent beds. An overall good stay.

Nineteen of us stayed here this weekend for a graduation and it was awful. The bathroom has mold, I got stuck in the elevator for greater than 10 mins which the alarm didn't work and there was no emergency phone in it. The housekeeper said someone else got stuck for more than 1hr. They charge 20 dollars for parking per night but never have spaces. You have to park across the street and pay 35 dollars which they do not reimburse. One of my pillow cases was dirty, stained yellow like pee. The soap dish in the bathroom was broken. The breakfast eggs and sausage was cold every day and you had to ask the staff for water as they kept it hidden in the back. All this and they charged us over 600 dollars. Needless to say, we are calling corporate on Monday. This is so bad and we will never, ever, stay here again.

Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are exactly what you need. Centrally located so easy walk to area attractions.

Rooms were small but very clean. Perfectly located to access many points of interest (walking distance). Amenities and service were both adequate.

This experience made me feel as if I was in a Motel back in the 90's. Very outdated… the walls were painted over, chipped, the bathtub had brown marks in it. The sink had built up dirt around the handle. Please don't be fooled by the decor online or downstairs. Housekeeping sucks, the floors were nasty. The coffee area wasn't kept up. The staff are young but decent. I never felt comfortable to take my shoes off because the carpet was nasty and old. The windows outside the rooms were dirty. Good location but not worth it if you enjoy comfort! I woke up with a bump on my stomach, not sure if it was a bed bug bite.

Prefect location, good price, great breakfast.

When I arrived at the hotel on Friday, I noticed that the parking (which is $20/day for hotel guests) is a paid public parking area. Most of the hotels downtown are, but if you're a bit of a worry wart like me, you might be worried about that (what if they run out of parking). However, I needn't have worried as parking wasn't a problem, even though Atlanta United was playing in the Mercedes-Benz arena and The Tabernacle (close by) was playing a sold out show on Saturday. I left and came back before dark on Saturday, and I was able to find a parking space, although the lot was filling up quickly. The hotel lobby and breakfast area is very nice, very spacious, and there's a lovely courtyard area, into which some rooms face. My room faced out to the parking lot, and I was easily able to block out the light from the window with the curtains. However, it is noisy at night. In fact, it's noisy at all times of the day because it seems like the walls are made of paper. I could hear the elevator ding when it arrived on our floor, even though I was all the way at the end of the hall away from it. Every time the person in the room next to me shut their door, my headboard rattled, and I could clearly hear my neighbor's conversation when I was in the bathroom. I felt guilty for blow-drying my hair at 7 am because I knew I was probably waking them up. In other words, bring your earplugs. The room itself is in desperate need of some updating.

Hotel is nice. Staff is very good. The rooms are well kept but the windows are paper thin. I was on the 6th floor and could hear people talking in the alley at night. The cleaning staff was great. Very friendly and so a good job cleaning rooms. One thing about the tv. There has to be a better way to keep the cords and cable box. See picture.

Nice staff. Hotel was located near our event. Parking was hectic.

Great location, room is nice and clean, and the staff is excellent. The only reason not five star is the bathroom (while they actually have good shower water pressure) looks pretty run down.

Older hotel with thin walls but very friendly staff. Breakfast is your typical Hampton breakfast. The Orange juice here actually taste like orange juice. We had one of the corner suites and it appears they had space left and made a suite out of that space. Meaning it was configured a little awkward. Also, you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom.

The room was very comfortable and clean, staff was vey courteous and helpful. The Air-conditioning could use some service as it took quiet a while to cool the room down.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. This is where we always stay when we come to Atlanta. Go Falcons!

This hotel is always perfect for an overnight stay after a Falcons game. It's within walking distance of the stadium and other restaurants. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is always good. I would recommend this hotel.

Overall a nice place to stay. It is what you expect from a Hampton Inn: clean, standard hotel rooms with free internet and breakfast. It is in a pretty central location to downtown within walking distance to many places to grab food. The parking lot is crowded, but it's to be expected when you're downtown. The staff was very friendly.

The building is a little older so the walls are thin, the rooms are small, and there are no fridges in the room, but the staff is always nice. Breakfast is good, especially the waffles. Not the best Hampton Inn I've been in but still a good stay.

Great hotel. It's a Hampton Inn on the inside with the exterior of a downtown, brick building. Very misleading at first but the same quality you can expect at other locations.

Friendly, helpful staff. It's centrally located and the recent remodel has helped quite a bit. However, the walls are *very* thin. We could hear conversations from next door.

I was displeased with the hotel. The staff was awesome but the cleanliness and upkeep of the room was dissatisfying. My tub was old with pieces of the tub cracked and coming off. No fridge or microwave in room. I tried to sleep on the pull out bed/couch and couldn't rest because of excessive itching. Once I got off the couch and slept in the bed the itching stopped. The parking was horrible, not enough parking spaces to accommodate the large amount of guest. Saturday night, 5 other guest and my family stood outside of the sliding doors for at least 10 minutes ringing the doorbell for entry. Allen said he didn't see us standing there, guess he didn't hear us either. My bank account showed I was charged twice. I have screen shots and account summaries for proof. I called the hotel and left a voicemail about the problem and did not get a return call. Plus the biggest problem was the amount I paid was not worth the stay, even for the awesome convenient location. I've stayed in Hampton Inn Suites before, that was by far the worse one. I am a very dissatisfied guest.

The hotel is not in bad shape, but definitely has seen better days. The building is aging and it shows throughout. We even had to switch rooms because a ceiling leak made part of the drywall start to collapse in our room. The Windows on both the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms opened up and in fact were to old, rusty and over painted to even lock. The staff was very kind though. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast attendant was terrific.

Great location. Soft towels. Great beds & sheets. Very clean. Extremely friendly staff. Outstanding breakfast. No refrigerator in the room, however. Also, had to pay extra for parking. If I could rate it 4.5 stars, I would. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice downtown hotel, comfortable beds, no microwave or fridge.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. They accomodated our each and every need. The hotel was clean and well decorated with a nice atmosphere throughout. We will definitely stay here again.

Was ok, breakfast, rooms could be a bit brighter.

Pretty low scale even for a Hampton. Their definition of cleaning your room is moving your tissues & empty cups from your nightstand to your floor. Carpet has that weird sticky feeling when walking in bare feet and the "free breakfast" is so nasty is almost comical. I would recommend almost anywhere else. Except maybe the DoubleTree across the street. They have disgusting gnats & fruit flies at the bar that fall into your drinks. Probably worst Hilton experience by far!

The hotel, its self was outstanding. The staff were very nice and helpful. Their continental breakfast had a variety of foods that were hot and ready in the morning.

Excellent location, within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Hotel staff was very friendly/helpful and room was clean. Only downside is that steam from the shower set off the smoke detector by the bathroom.

The place is ok as far as a clean facility. Great customer service. The rooms were descent. Only negative thing is the sorry breakfast they serve. The oj, cranberry, and juices tasted horrible. The water tastes better. The eggs were made with water and the best thing was the yogurt and fruit. The walls are thin and you can hear anything and everything outside. I gave it a 3 for trying.

The service was friendly enough. They were very accommodating and able to get my room ready early. The only issues I has was that I could hear everything the people in the next room was saying. It made me worried about my privacy and made it difficult to relax. Finally, it took a couple of minutes to get hot water on the eighth floor. Overall, a decent place to stay.

Staff: Upon check in = not good. We waited while the counter while 2 staff members were helping people. The third person was doing something on the computer. When another staff member said to his coworker he has a guest, the guy said he knew and continued clacking away. Wow. After a short time he greeted us. Not a good start lad. After that initial hiccup, things went well. They generously delivered a bottle of complimentary champagne and a card. Very nice. This is why I will always go with Hampton Inn. Room was nice and clean. Had a pretty cool view of downtown (aquarium and other buildings). Pool/hot tub on roof was cool too. Overall: would recommend. Just a pointer to the staff (whoever that guy was) : don't just ignore the guest. I mean, that is basics.

Perfectly respectable downtown hotel. Stayed here three nights for a conference and appreciated the helpful staff and included breakfast and Wi-Fi. Not particularly swanky, but comfortable and conveniently located.

The hotel was nice I'm glad it had cable and free breakfast. They had a flip out couch so even if u got a one bed room more than one person could sleep in there. It was also near the places we had to go so overall a good stay.

Stayed overnight in the long suite. Room was nice and large however, the bathroom was tiny — barely room for yourself. Breakfast was great, much better than the normal free breakfasts. My only complaint was that the air in our room was not working properly so it was rather warm. Not a likely problem though.

Good location, close to the Georgia World Conference Center, Centennial Olympic Park, and a short walk from the Peachtree Center MARTA station. Convenient breakfast with plenty of options. Room was a little noisy, being near the elevator, but can't really complain.

I was in Atlanta for a meeting last week and had a very pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms was clean and comfortable and the free breakfast each morning was good. I had minor Wi-Fi issues, but my cell phone data signal was high for what I needed to do, so I didn't bother complaining. I'm sure the issue would have been resolved if I had. Location was perfect for walking to the convention center, downtown restaurants, and other attractions. All the staff were great, but I have to give a very special thanks to the general manager, Seth Rolfe, he really went above and beyond! My car battery died and acted right away to help push my car out of its space to get close enough to his own car with his jumper cables to give me a jump start so that I could be on my way. We're already planning on staying again next year.

We had a really good stay. The room was large enough for my wife and I and our two kids. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

Clean rooms, pleasant staff, as convenient as any of the much higher priced hotels in the same neighborhood, a really decent complimentary breakfast, and on site parking. Would stay again when I'm in the area.

They left me sitting in the lobby for 2 hours while they had a party and talked with their friends. Worst customer service ever. Told me there were no rooms ready yet. I doubt it takes 2 hours to clean a room. I will never stay here again.
