Was seated for several minutes, servers walked by, no one greeted us, they just looked at us as we walked out.

We were visiting St. Augustine and popped in for lunch. The cracked conch was amazing. We came back another day and I had the shrimp and artichoke dip and again it was delicious! A third time did not disappoint either. Conch fritters were good! This place also has beautiful views and a great staff.

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and staff is joyful and attentive! Great evening!

The shrimp and grits was amazing!

Our waiter, Chase, took good care of us. We were a party of 20 and he handled it great. The manager, Jason, handled a hiccup (I did say 20 people) beyond fairly. Jason is a great manager, who knows how to keep customers!

We had a fantastic time. We were a party of 7 including 3 kids with one of them being 2. The wait time was an hour. Already that sounds like a disaster, but it wasn't! They had an outside bar where we could all grab a couple drinks. A couple boats pulled into the marina and cleaned their fish from the catch of the day. My kids enjoyed watching that! When we got to our table, the food was very good. The service was great. The owner was very active in the serving. He had been sitting at a table nearby celebrating his brother's birthday. He came around and made jokes with us and our kids. Great entertainment! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The view! Usually the food is excellent but today both our meals at lunch were off, under seasoned and the conch fritters were doughy. Had the same meal last Friday and it was delicious! Sorry that the food is not consistent! I have been going there for over 30 years and this is the first time this happened! Maybe a new or substitute chef in the kitchen. Anyway, server was lovely and after receiving the second do over of lunch, I just ate it. I am not out to be a grinch but just not up to par!

Very nice restaurant! Great view, great food and great service We had the gator tail appetizer, the crab cake meal and the Mahi fresh catch of the day Island Catch meal. Very yummy.

Fabulous filet and cocktails! Dining in a tiki hut over the water is a refreshing treat.

Our waitress was great but the food… not so much. Had no flavor whatsoever. Potatoes weren’t fully cooked, shrimp not cleaned. Mahi had no salt. Shame we drove 2 hours.

The rum butter scallops are amazing! My hubby got the chicken Danita and loved it. Suggest everyone try to shrimp and artichoke dip! It was so good! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful setting at the marina. Great layout. Menu is huge. Never had a disappointment. Food, booze and service have always been top notch.

Had dinner Saturday night 6/20 and we were even able to get a hut. Strolled down to the lounge while we waited and enjoyed some music. Jenna was doing a great job of taking care of everyone under the tent. Great service — the waiter was very kind and accomodating. Had the smoked fish dip and shrimp anastasia EXCELLENT!

Very disappointed in The Conch after reading the reviews. The food was “ok” at best. Bland sides and over cooked. That was the best part. As we watched tables leaving not once was a single table wiped down and/or disinfected. No disinfecting spray was used, no wet clothes… nothing. Very disappointing experience.

This place was recommended by a friend. Was sat inside. Never received service. When we left, I told the people at the hostess stand we were leaving since no one ever came to help us after 15 minutes. 4 people were standing there, one admitted to being our server and said that it was his fault since he was “checking on a gas leak” and asked what table number we were sitting at. I said “I don’t know, I don’t work here, she sat us. ” And pointed to the hostess, who said nothing. My husband was pretty upset that the server was giving excuses since he admitted to being our server but we had watched him stand at the hostess stand talking and laughing for quite a while and a “gas leak” seems pretty serious in my mind. Not sure I would recommend this place.

One of my favorite places in St Augustine. Good food from a big menu and a wide choice of drinks. Table service is not fast, but who cares. You are outside at a shady table with great views over the water, and it’s a perfect place to kick back and enjoy the day and all the lovely people. If it’s cold or raining you can sit inside and still enjoy the view through the windows.

Every morsel was a perfect delight. Family dinner score!

but the food in the restaurant was not all that great, server wasn't the best… overall things were ok.

Very wonderful Marina location. Courteous and helpful staff, with great tasting food and drinks. We celebrated Cedrick L. Frazier's Birthday, Joe Zerza's Birthday. Geri & Tony Madejczyk's 46th Anniversary! Miss Jasmine took very good care of us First Timers at The Conch House, and we'll be back!

Atmosphere was great. Food was excellent and it’s a great place for a family meal as well.

When my family comes to visit I always bring them here for dinner. We have never been disappointed great service & delicious meals. The drinks are the bomb!

Had lunch there and Kyle waited on us, could not be happier. The whole lunch was amazing and he was so kind and out going. The whole lunch was great and we will definitely be back when we’re in the area. Ps that tuna fish dip is the best fish dip I’ve ever had.

We ate our last meal at the Comch House Marina on 8-9-18. Our food was very good, we were seated quickly, Makenzie was our Waitress and was wonderful. The best thing about this establishment is they have honest employees. I forgot my purse under the table, we called when I realized what I had done. It was retrieved this morning with everything intact. I appreciate good, honest people and this place seems to have both. Thank you so much!

The night seemed great with servers that did well and we all enjoyed our food. We were part of a party of 10 and 3 of us who ordered the catch of the day Wahoo all got food poisoning that night. The food in common was the coconut rice and Wahoo. No one else got sick just those that ate those common foods. I spoke to the restaurant manager the day after who was very rude and questioned that it was probably from the night before, and actually asked me what we ate! We were vacationing together and everyone ate the same food the night before because we cooked at home so it was not possible it came from the night previous. After the restaurant manager told me he could not help me I tried to call the resort manager “Chip” repeatedly and had no way to leave a message so I emailed him with no response. My advice is to stay away from this over priced tourist trap unless you want to take a risk with food poisoning.

We ate there last night and it was undoubtedly the worst meal we have ever had! Very limited menu which none sounded appetizing. Our meal, which they (the girls) had chicken fingers off the kids menu, came to $89. It was not worth $8. I will never eat there again and would not recommend it to anyone!

I guess I was expecting more? It was run down and smelled of extreme nastiness next to the hostess stand. We had a 90min wait for our table. So we went down the pier to the bar. One waitress, bar keep seemed less than pleased to help fill a simple drink order. However the cocktails were delicious. Snow balls chance in he! of getting a second one. We got our txt for our table. Was greeted after sitting for about 5min by a waitress that seemed to be in a massive hurry. We ordered the Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls they were good but heavy (very heavy) handed on the allspice/clove. Entrees were mediocre for the price. I’ve had better crab cakes but I’ve also had worse. Our Son’s chicken tenders could have been better batteries and fried by him. And he’s only 6. Only saw our waitress two more times. I honestly don’t think I’ll go back.

The service was excellent, the salmon was amazing and the view was spectacular! I'm surprised at the negative reviews. The manager even came around to our table to check on the food and service. Always love this place!

Nothing but plusses! Helpful staff, nice showers and toilet facilities. Very clean. Slips can be a bit bumpy in windy weather, but not bad. Restaurants, bars, and swimming pool all very nice. Music is nearly constant on the weekends. Good music. But it stops by 10 pm or so. Fuel dock. Convenient to the Intracoastal and the Atlantic. Marina docks still not 100% repaired after Matthew & Irma, but good progress has been made. The unrepaired docks are all in one unused area. Several other restaurants within short walking distance. The taco place and Mellow Mushroom pizza are both great.

Very cool place to have dinner and they also have great fishing charters.

This place is a joke. Avoid at all cost.

We had a wonderful time and appreciate all of the friendly staff who helped us so much! Olivier at the docks, Jolynn in the marina and Cindy at the motel. We were on a boat and our doggie Bear had a great time too!

Please please please do not stay here. It is filthy and dirty and run down and outdated. It smelled musty. Please do not believe pictures because they are false. The pictures made it look nice but it is not. When we tried to open a curtain the whole curtain fell off the wall. The restaurant meal was over priced for what was served. The shower was built for people who were four feet tall with no pressure. The pool was not heated. There were not enough towels and our father had to dry off with a washcloth. When we went to go get more towels they were closed.

On two separate occasions, we stopped by the marina for gas. But we were unable to fuel up because they didn't have any 2 stroke motor oil! AGAIN! Really!? They had two well stocked shelves of boat soap. But not a single quart of two stroke oil.

Horrible Dock Staff — We were visiting the marina area and docked on the south dock for about 5 minutes. We were showing some people how to properly tie off on the dock when we were approached by a very rude staff member. He asked "Are you buying gas"? We replied with no thank you, we're just making sure everyone is good with tie up procedures. Everyone included 3 people, so not like we were there conducting a class of 50! The staff member then said, well you have to leave then, we have a boat coming in 30 minutes that is going to dock here. Of course, we agreed and said, ok we'll be leaving shortly. He said, no you need to leave now in a very rude and aggressive manner with a posture that made us feel as if he intended to become physically confrontational over the matter. We told him we would leave and him and his partner stood at the end of the dock like they were some sort of security guards or wanna be security guards. I have never experienced such a rude and aggressive dock attendant, ever. I highly suggest you, as a company, look into replacing this type of attitude that represents your business. It was the one with gauges in his ears, 120 pounds soaking wet and had a complex issue for a what 19-20 year old child. If you need help tracking them down. At least some customer service training would be in order. I understand the Conch House has had issues with security, point taken, but the dock is not the place to act like a bad-ass, save that for Sunday!

EXCELLENT! Super Quaint and Cozy place to stay! My husband and I just got back from St. Augustine and Merritt Island/Cocoa Beach area. We stayed 3 Nights at The Conch House and LOVED it! The Conch House was off the "beaten path" and not in the busy touristy area of St. Augustine which we liked. Our room was a suite and I highly recommend the suite if staying for awhile! It was like staying in your own home! Kitchen, bathroom attached to the bedroom, living room and dining area — SUPER Cool Older "Retro" buildings, yet updated with Florida décor. The pool was right outside of our front window and the view was AWESOME! I felt like we were in the Caribbean somewhere! Bo and all of the peeps that we dealt with at the office were all super nice and helpful! We got in earlier than expected and they made sure we got in our beautiful room right away! WE WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN! Highly Recommend AND FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY! ***** :)
