The King Suite is large and fully appointed. New carpet and Drapes. Smells amazing :) Very clean! Beautiful works if art displayed throughout! 4 Diamond Resort, desserts were excellent! Luxury!

We had a wonderful time. The staff is excellent and the food at the restaurant is superb. Would highly recommend either for a short getaway or a longer stay. Walking distance to everything.

Great hotel. Nice staff. Clean. Except yesterday, the restaurant had a mishap. Water came from the roof. Hopefully they fixed it.

The staff was truly outstanding, quick to right a few wrongs and to offer compensation (no stopper in bathroom sink, two off the four workout machines were not functioning-this one couldn’t be repaired in house-& hair remaining in the shower). ”Their” Starbucks honored the Starbucks promotion even tho they didn’t have to. Great location.

" She was an excellent example of all who provided us service.

Whilst I'm sure this is a lovely hotel their customer service and administration in my opinion is not very good. They are quick to take your money but not so quick to return it! I had a prepaid reservation with them that had to be cancelled due to to hurricane Dorian, not their fault and understandable, but what I don't understand is two weeks later I'm still trying to get someone from the hotel to contact me or process my refund. Whenever I've tried to contact the hotel by telephone I get put through to a central Marriott call centre who have assured me twice that the repayment will be with me in the next couple of days but has failed to appear. Today I tried twitter with Marriott Bonvoy Assist — they tell me they have contacted hotel leadership and someone will get back to me in 3-5 days. Seriously — that is appalling customer service, the refund should have been automatic and 2 weeks ago, telling me it will take another 3-5 days before someone will get back to me is like giving me the middle finger to my query. It would be nice to get some sort of apology but right now I won't set my expectations so high that I'll get anything as courteous as that and just settle for my money back please.

Home perfect, very nice rooms, very nice hotel, in short, everything perfect!

It's all about the ambiance that carries through in the level of stellar service, cleanliness, excellent food not to mention convenience with valet parking, concierge services, valet parking, cafe, bistro and full restaurant plus a Gallery! The Trolleys and Handsome cabs all stop in front of the hotel which is located in the heart of the downtown district! It's the TOTAL PACKAGE!

From Ricky in housekeeping to Kyle, Brittany and Ryan in the bar, Amie in the restaurant and the front desk staff, I couldn’t say enough about the wonderful staff! They are amazing!

Very beautiful, quiet, and relaxing — which is everything we wanted. An ideal location, too. Everything is easily walkable.

Built in 1888, this is a wonderful hotel with a lot of character. In particular, the artwork and Furniture in the public areas is really wonderful. The ceiling in the lobby is also exceptional. I found the staff to be helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I had a suite on the third floor with a rounded wall that we overlooked Flagler. I found it to be spacious and comfortable, especially the lounge chairs and sitting area. Hotel also has a relationship with a beach club 15 minutes away. The club is really upscale, with good food and drink and incredible service. If you are in the St. Augustine area, consider staying here!

Went to a seminar at Casa Monica. Very classy place, comfortable, nicely appointed. The staff of the seminar were not affiliated with the hotel, but the hotel staff that I did have encounters with were getting helpful and gracious. I didn't see any of the guest rooms, but I would think that they are very nice if they are similar to the public areas and the meeting rooms used by the seminar. The restaurant staff were quite nice as well. I think it would be a great place to stay.

We have stayed at the Casa Monica five different times. We just stayed here in September 2018. They do an excellent job of taking care of your needs. I would suggest that they plan on redoing the pool because it's a plastic based insert and it's starting to stain. However the rooms are fantastic and it's quiet. One of the coolest places at the hotel is a Stairway as it has tons of amazing artwork.

You could not ask for a better hotel or staff! If you need to know where to go or need help setting up a special day, Allie is always eager to help and you won't be disappointed. Whether you want a coffee from the deli, a cocktail from the bar or amazing food from the restaurant, Alex is the man. He is the food and beverage manager. You always see him around and he is always eager to help. We could not of asked for a better hotel to spend our 20th anniversary in. Thank you to all the staff.

Some of the absolute worst service for a high end hotel/resort. Ignored at check in, ignored at bar & extremely inattentive multiple times in restaurant. Lack of friendliness & lack of interest from most staff as well.
Room furnishings are lovely, but by no means does the standard size of the room, small tub or few amenities constitute the rate charged. Also, exiting elevator on the 4th floor was an unpleasant smell, like cat urine or molded carpet.
The location, the historic background & the beautiful lobby & interesting artwork are positive highlights. Grand Bohemian in Asheville is a longtime trusted favorite, but this was a complete letdown…

The entire Resort is amazingly spectacular! The staff, from the point of arrival to the point of departure, were wonderful and without hesitation always provided Services above and beyond. Although the internet ratings show this hotel classified as a four-star it is closer to a five star service. The entire Hotel had a wonderful Aroma. The rooms are spacious and the beds and other accouterments we're very comfortable. I've stayed in virtually hundreds of various hotels in many different countries and throughout United States and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. If by chance you ever had any problems at this hotel I would say unequivocally it would be resolved within a within a blink of an eye. The swimming pool and the hot tub were wonderful. The location of the hotel is so convenient to the downtown shopping centers and only a couple minutes to the St George Street shopping area. The valet service for parking is so convenient because trying to park anywhere in the downtown area of St Augustine is a complete nightmare. It's so easy to just to walk from the hotel to almost anywhere you want to go. We were traveling with a disabled senior who needed a wheelchair and the hotel.

Simply exceptional in every way from the moment you pull into valet parking to check in all the way to your room. Then the rooms are outstanding and luxurious making a long day seem insignificant as you slide into the wonderful bed after being amazing by the bedroom itself. I travel extensively all over the US and have not found a better combination of everything in one hotel that it over the top yet comfortable and relaxing. It’s as if you want to stay forever and that’s an unusual feeling. Simply lovely and something to look forward to when visiting St Augustine. Seriously Recommended.

Beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Rooms were clean, bar was a blast but the highlight was the pool area with the comfy canopies to lounge in! Location is just off the main drag in Old St Augustine so it's quiet but easily walkable to the best parts of the city!

So glad we wasted a large chunk of our Chase Rewards Points on this hotel for our one year marriage anniversary. The first night when we walked into our room it was very clear that someone partied a little too hard and maintenance/housekeeping didn’t clean it up. Vomit/feces-scented water was bubbling out of the sink right next to the coffee maker and the shower started flooding immediately after my wife started showering. Having your wife ankle deep in “gray water” is the quickest way to ruin an anniversary trip. It was very clear that this hotel and Marriott only care about the big events and weddings at their hotel. Definitely booking a Hilton for the "make-up trip" since our anniversary was ruined. Thanks Marriott!

Great location. Lots of art inside. Very nice decor. Relaxing pool area with cabanas. But not worth the price paid plus daily resort fees as a Platinum Elite member. This Marriott resort opted out of free breakfast for Platinum members with zero compensation to me means staying 75 nights annually is worthless program.

Staff was very responsive and polite, including the cafe and bar. The grounds and room were very clean and organized. Pool area is a nice place to relax with lots of sitting areas and towels provided. No major complaints aside from finding that the room was a bit smaller than expected.

I really wanted to love this hotel. The location is top shelf. Right in the center of the historic area of St. Augustine. Clearly a great choice for an out of town tourist who wants to stroll around the "touristy" areas. The staff was polite and helpful. We were frequently greeted by name, which is a nice touch. However things like in-room dining were just a little bit late. As an example, we ordered breakfast the night before, and at the time we were expecting breakfast, we got a phone call that "the kitchen is backed up" and our meal would be late. But we were offered no options in return, nor was there any attempt at what I would call service recovery. Likewise, I was impressed that the Marriott app allowed me to text a request for some food to be waiting for our arrival. And the food arrived just as we did. It was a repeated exercise in "close, but not quite, " all weekend long. The room is small for the price point. The decor is simple but not elegant, even appearing a bit dated. I am sure they were going for historic, but it just struck me as "old. " The outdoor pool looks amazing in their corporate photos. But in person, it's underwhelming. And poolside food and drink requires a phone call to room service, rather than a wait staff. In all, I think it's a good hotel. That said, their marketing and their price point suggest that it would be excellent, even impeccable. I don't think this property rightly merits a "resort fee, " or a premium price.

The entire hotel oozes with luxury while maintaining authentic history. Attending a conference here. The staff goes far above and beyond. The luncheon buffet was better than most of the restaurant foods in town. The ballroom where the conference is being held is clean and in immaculate condition, especially for being historic. Sound system works perfectly, not single light bulb out, not even single smudge on the walls.

We attended a wedding here and everything was very nice. We did visit the rooms with the wedding party and they were clean and fit the historic theme of the hotel. Bar staff were great and wedding went well.

Had Sunday buffet. Great selection, beef, crab, oysters, shrimp, salad, lots of desserts. Everything was very good except for roast beef. It was cooked rare (good), but tough, and flavor was just so-so. Otherwise a very good meal. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Bringing a family to this hotel isn't the best idea. The rooms are the size of a closet. We had 3 people a king bed and a twin pullout couch that was like sleeping on a bag of potatoes and springs. The hotel is nice, but the pool is infested with wood boaring bees and the pool is about a foot low on water. I was planning on bring a group of 20 plus people here for work. I asked for the general manager to call me and my phone has been silent. Oh well, there are plenty of other places to visit in our beautiful country… just won't be here Finally, for the 22 dollar resort fee, they invest that money in these crumbling beams at the pool.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. For an older hotel everything was decently modern and clean. My wife thought that it was haunted but I didn't think so. A little pricey but I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 Is because of the location. PRO: It is very central with many things in walking distance. CONS: Expensive rooms. Only parking is hourly street parking or valet at the hotel for $26 a day. At the price of the room parking should be included. The room was small. I expected it to have a luxurious antique feel, but it does not. It does not have a fridge. In the morning you can hear people talking in the hallway and doors slamming every time a room is entered or exited. The jacuzzi is very small, maybe 6ft across. They include a charge of $22 a day to use the beach club facility that is a 10 minute drive away. I cannot understand how on earth this qualified as a four diamond hotel.

Love the ambiance at Casa Monica. Have enjoyed staying here for over 25 years. Intimate, historic, unpretentious, architecturally beautiful. Wonderful spot for drinks and snacks/tapas anytime, superb restaurant. Amazing Sunday brunch as well as holiday meals (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day). Very professional, friendly waiters, waitresses, chef, bartenders. Live music most evenings in lobby lounge. Also — now Casa Monica is affiliated with Marriott, so Marriott Rewards members earn points for overnight stays — alternatively, you can redeem accrued points for hotel stay!

Excellent place to rest and get to know the magical town of San Agustín. Beautiful.

Although it's pricey it's one of the best places to stay. Right in the middle of town. Amazing restaurant in hotel. Room service. Spa is great. Love the pool area. Has a parking deck so you don't have to search for a space hopefully near by. I would recommend staying here.

Casa Monica is the place to go in Jacksonville Beach for parties, gatherings or simply staying the night. The rooms are fantastic. It is ocean front. Super nice place. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I went to the restaurant for their Christmas dinner. The waiter was very nice and the ambiance was beautiful. Nice twinkle lights in a Spaniard style building. The food was only ok. The eating the lamb was tough as we had to yank the meat away groom the bone. The staff kept forgetting to get us our next courses. Not impressed especially with a $200+ price tag for the meal.

This hotel looks amazing outside and in the lobby but actually it’s old as it is. In the room there was no shower gel, only bar soap, the next day all my face and body was full of rashes and to the end of our trip I had huge skin problems. We couldn’t sleep till 11:40pm because hotel was very loud. There were strange noises coming out of faucet in the middle of the night, so really we couldn’t sleep well. They didn’t clean our room till 2 PM. Anything we ordered or we asked for it, took them about an hour to bring it to our room. This was unexpectedly slow and it was very inconvenient for us. In the restaurant they serve you sink water to drink (really in that luxury hotel? ), horrible taste and smell — I recommend not to drink. On our next trip we will definitely stay in Bed & Breakfast because it’s really not worth to spend that amount of money for that cheap hotel.

While I understand it was Christmas, if you are going to be open for dinner make it worthwhile and show some effort. Food was bland and uninspiring and service was worse. We waited for our 630 slot and got in line a few minutes early. With 7 minutes till 630 the person at the desk said we would have to wait the 7 minutes until our 630 slot. He than forgot about us. Once we got seated, we had to track down a server for drinks. He only returned once to refill drinks. Shrimp bisque was blah & the buffet ran out of shrimp and vegetables. Omelet was OK and was nice to have a breakfast option. All this for a 20% gratuity included. Would not return or recommend it.

We were just passing through this time but have loved starting here. It is great to be right in the center of things going on in St Augustine. Right now it's the Christmas lights. The rooms are very nice. The restaurant serves amazing food. My favorite is their martinis.

I attended a holiday work party here. The place was beautiful. Right in downtown St Augustine. It was very clean. The valet staff was very nice as well as the catering staff. The food was excellent.

I attended a holiday party here for my work. I wasn't happy to be traveling so I wasnt the happiest when I arrived, especially after being stuck in traffic for 30 min. After finally arriving I was very impressed with the setup of our area, and the food was the best of any of the holiday function I've attended. The servers were all very polite and the valet parking made it much easier than trying to find parking in a very busy area. I highly recommend.

My wife and I attended an event at Casa Monica recently. Upon entering, we were struck by the beautiful artwork and architecture. Even the bathrooms were lovely. The food was on the expensive side, but delicious. Definitely an indulgence. The service was prompt and friendly, and we loved our drinks. Definitely recommend a visit to the Casa Monica!

Not worth the money. Told we would have 2 queen beds, got there on Thanksgiving day and only had a king bed avail, said they would upgrade us to king and a pullout sofa, got to our room and it was not… it was 2 queen beds and a window that went from the floor to your knee caps, can't even look out a window unless you sit on the floor. The toilet ran all night, had to get up and turn it off at the plumbing, the shower leaked all day and left the floor wet in the bathroom. Tried to have lunch in their hotel, was told sorry they only take reservations but we can find a table at one of the one 3 they had in the bar. That night I went down to make "reservations" in the restaurant and was told "Sorry we don't take reservations, but you can find a seat in our (3 table) bar because they are full. After being charged with a resort fee and taxes for the initial cost we were then billed another resort fee and then another unknown fee that later was determined to be a valet fee that was never mentioned. Tried to call to complain, had to call 3x to get refunds and still no luck. Was promised so much and nothing… I'm over it! Won't go back here or recommend it.

Uf!, a spectacular place and especially in pre-Christmas dates, its infrastructure, its restaurant, its casino, in general everything, of course the costs are quite high, but a place to be missed. César Benavente Leigh.

We stayed for 1 night in a room that was not as nice, as large or as accommodating as the $90 Hilton the previous night which also served a free hot breakfast. This room was $375 plus taxes, resort fees and valet. Totaling $450… nearly $100 more than the room rate. No refrigerator in room, lumpy beds, cold showers and we were the last room on the 4th floor… literally hallways and hallways away from the elevator. It was a never ending walk to our room. It was an ordinary looking room other than gigantic red velet head boards. The decor wasn't even special. Never again.

On of the top Marriott Autograph collection hotel. The lobby is beautiful. Read up on the history of the hotel. Only issue is they can improve on the smell of of the hotel outside the room in hallways. It just normal old smell from and old building. Rooms and lobby are perfect.

Do not give service to the stars that have.

The breakfast was bad. Oatmeal came cold. Menu said we get muffins without saying what kind. They were stale carrot cake muffins. There is no Ethernet in the room, contrary to what Marriott advertised with the room. I cannot believe I spent $105 on a breakfast for 3, where only 1 meal came hot. I could have spent $30 and gotten just as much food elsewhere. But we are at a "fancy hotel". We just HAD to try the food here.

Just went into the bar for a quick drink before our ghost tour. Beautiful hotel, great atmosphere & cheerful, happy, sociable staff. Great drinks and an overall good time!

A beautiful building reminiscent of a castle next to a beautiful college form for woman that is as beautiful. You will be wowed just in the foyer. There is a nice bar in the lobby as well. The trolley service can take to see all of the sights in the city. You must absolutely visit the prohibition kitchen and get the "make your own old fashioned" and the distillery and winery gives free tastings of everything.

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Restaurant/bar has excellent food… The gym is very small, but adequately equipped with equipment. The location is outstanding. Right in the middle of historic downtown St Augustine. It's about a block from a very nice shopping area. The Bay is a few blocks away. And, the historic castle/fort is about 3/4 mile away. Many historical sites nearby. Parking is valet only.

The staff is friendly and the lobby is beautiful. Our room was a different story. While appointed well in the bedroom, the bathroom was sorely lacking. Our hot water did not work in the sink and the shower doors are the cheapest offered by Lowes. Perhaps, it was our room location, but it was very noisy. You could hear everything said in the hall and in the room next door. The facilities are beautiful and the location is perfect. With some upgrades in plumbing and fixtures, plus some additional sound deadening, this would be a first class hotel.

As Centrally-located as possible. Upscale service. Good view of Basilica and Flagler from our room. Really cool pool area. Large room, unique furnishings. Downsides: pool water was kinda gross, hallways were dark and creepy, rooms were "authentic" (read: not updated), bartender was the worst.

The drive in to this hotel is easy to miss and narrow and it feels as if you are going into a cave. Rather interesting. Front desk staff and other staff very friendly and accommodating. I think that was the biggest takeaway for us. You pay for this type service and it was delivered. Our room was on the third floor and was street side to the museum next door. It was not noisy at all. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. You could hear a little noise but nothing that kept you awake at night. The hotel sits in an ideal location as you can walk to just about everything and the tour busses come within a half block of the hotel. Take a tour bus for fun and get the two or three day pass. We also tried the restaurant here at the hotel and while it was very, very good, St. Augustine has so many delicious places to eat. Downers: Breakfast service charge was outrageous and not mentioned on the room service menu. Be sure an look at the service charges because you might be double tipping and the service tip is very generous to the staff. The only other beef I have is the welcome drink. It is Sangria and apparently made special as the welcome drink and really brings the Autograph brand down as it is not made from quality ingredients. I do not understand this as I would have been more inclined to stay in the bar and have another drink but there was no way I was drinking this poor concoction of sangria.

This is a fantastic hotel and facility. The staff was absolutely first class. The location is the best in St Augustine. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will make this my first choice every time I visit.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. It has a unique history which adds to it's appeal. It is also in the heart of St. Augustine so everything is close by. Their staff is amazing too. One of the valet was even nice enough to help out with a guests' engagement. It goes to show that the staff will go above and beyond for their guests.

I attended a professional sales event that was catered by the Casa Monica in a meeting room. It was decent but considering all the opulence I would have expected better food. My boss has the pan seared white fish and ended up with food poisoning.

We stayed at The Casa Monica during the first weekend of Nights of Lights and it was truly magical. The entire city lights up in white, twinkling lights at night. The Casa Monica is the true gem of downtown, right in the center of it all. The service and staff are top-notch. The hotel is beautifully decorated. I love that they kept with the historic theme but added glamorous touches. The music that flows through the hotel sets the tone for a fun, relaxing getaway. The brunch is incredible, we could have sat there all day! The pool, art gallery, spa and cafe are all wonderful features. Highly recommend this hotel on your trip to St. Augustine.

I'm giving 1 star because they do not allow 1/2 of a star. Drunk kids wondering the property, yelling down halls at 2 AM. Security is the front desk person, what a joke! Oblivious to what is happening and the place is overpriced for what you get and what you would expect. I travel and stay 60-85 nights a year and this is the worst hotel I have stayed in for the last 2 years. Management made promises that were not kept and if you have a choice I would pick somewhere else. I traveled 1200 miles for a special occasion and I would state that they sure know how to ruin a couples fun. — Terrible Stay as well as multiple rude interactions with staff.

I won't stay there. A dang Anti American hotel. Nothing related to the Marriott. They need to move to Saudi Arabia.

This hotel is fantastic. The service is great from the valet to the front desk everyone was very helpful. The room (standard) is very spacious and the amenities are quite nice. The location couldn't be better and the history of the hotel is quite intriguing. Recommended.

Beautiful decor. Lobby staff was ok. Bed was uncomfortable for a $379 price tag and rooms were not quite from other guests. Premium room had a unusable window because of the build of the old hotel, so you could not look outside. Great location and nice atmosphere but not worth the $$.

I wasnt very pleased with my room nor valet. They didnt seem to care about it and they are misleading with a "free breakfast". Its continental and you get carbs with a dopple of greek yogurt.

Casa Monica is an artistic hotel with historic and Moroccan flares. Drive into the building on a brick drive for the valet to do the rest. Friendly staff checks you in right around the corner from the elevators which work in combination with the room key. There is also choice of lighted spacious stairwell. We had a third floor room with preferred view. Preferred means street view instead of pool view. Depending on the floor and position the street view can be a lovely piece of Flagler college and a fountain or a tree branch and construction. We had the latter first but we're changed to the room with a view which had a preferred wall shower to a tub. The bed looked nice but turned out a bit too firm. The furniture was lovely. There are no outside windows in the hallways so they are rather dark. There wasn't enough time to enjoy the pool but it was small and shallow. Fine for lounging add long as the plane didn't get overly crowded. A knock on the door at 9am disturbed our slumber to ask when a good time to come back was. Wick turned out to be good since we had overslept. However when getting ready the next day we realized they had cleaned and left new toiletries but not new towels! We did not dine there. We started to try the café but decided not to when they were advertising macarons as macaroons. Great location makes walking around very easy.

I always stay here when I'm in St. A. It is centrally located so you can walk everywhere. The hotel is beautiful and the staff treat you like royalty. Very very nice.

Just ended a very nice two night stay. The Hotel was great! The staff was outstanding from arrival to departure. A special thank you to Holly at the front desk. She was most helpful with all of our questions and requests.

Tiny rooms? You should try the 4 story Kessler Suite! It's the whole tower in the castle, with full 360 view of the city from the highest floor on the block. No complaints here!

Full Disclosure is that I need to tell you that I work in the wedding industry in Saint Augustine so I have worked with hundreds of different vendors in the area for the last 10 years. But this week I happened to be on the other side of the camera when I married the love of my life. I told my bride-to-be that of all the weddings I have seen the very best couples are out for 2 things… 1) to have a great time and 2) be thankful for the day, so that was all I really wanted for our wedding day. Well we got so much more than we could have ever hoped for. The first step of the wedding day can be one of the most crucial because it starts the chain of events that will last through the rest of the day. Because of its historical architecture, it’s beautifully designed rooms, and its central location in Historic Downtown Saint Augustine I have recommended the Casa Monica for almost 10 years as a getting ready location for my brides. Just last week though I had to put my money where my mouth was at my own wedding. My wife (wow that’s wild to say) stayed at the Casa Monica the night before the wedding and raved, telling me about how wonderful her room was and how helpful Courtney and Tessa were leading up to our wedding. Tessa even was kind enough to steam my lady's dress. By stroke of luck, the Casa Monica had a last minute cancellation and for a few extra dollars upgraded our room.

Well, I somehow lost my credit card on 10 May 2015. I called Casa Monica to see if maybe I had left it there, and someone named Holly said YES. Wow! I was so happy, but I was many miles away from the hotel by that time. : (But, Holly, being who she is, said she would mail it to me, so I said okay. And two days after I got back to Doral, there was my credit card in the mail box, with a card from Holly. What a relief! Holly, THANK YOU so much for nobility. You fit right in with the décor of the hotel. Wonderful hotel, wonderful people who care about other people. Can't wait to come back to thank you in person. Ard.

Janet Brown was given a last wish from Dream foundation, her wish was to come to Saint Augustine Fla. Here 5 night stay at Casa Monica was so elegant and everyone was so accommodating. The hotel granted her a complementary dinner for her and any family at 95 Cordova Restaurant. It was so unbelievable! The Chef and staff are so professional and so caring. Chef came out and hugged and talked to everyone, the wait staff took such good care of us. Finally. The food was so good! Really fantastic food, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We live in a great city and its welcoming to know we have great people who really care. Thank You All! Pam Gebert.

This place is gorgeous and they had every right to let an employee go because of something that WAS NOT PART OF HIS UNIFORM he obviously had to have been warned and did comply so the company fired him with good reason. It would be the same way if he was wearing any kind of patriotic or religious symbol.

I loved this hotel. It was centrally located in St. Augustine and the entrance was grand. The pool is very elegant and picturesque with lovely black and white cabanas. I would have given it five stars except the pool was very shallow for my teens who wanted to really swim. So if you have young kids its is perfect. The front desk was very helpful and offered to let us use their sister hotel located about 10 minutes away which had several pools which we had a blast at and spent an entire day there. The architecture near the hotel is amazing and you can walk to many attractions in the town right from the hotel. They also had a restaurant at the hotel which we had drinks and appetizers which were very good a bit pricy though. I would stay there again and take advantage of the beach club also.

So many bad reviews for one of the best hotels I have ever been at. Atmosphere was top notch and the area had everything you could ever need for entertainment. A++ Hotel and a must visit.

Conveniently located in the heart of St. Augustine. I recently stayed at the Casa Monica while attending a wedding. For a 4-star hotel, I was expecting a little more. Let me begin with some of the negatives. Wifi is not free. For a hotel that's already pricey to begin with, complimentary Wi-Fi would have been great. Housekeeping looked liked they needed an extra push. It didn't seem like they were in any kind of hurry to clean the rooms. The gym needs a lot of work. They have all the basic equipment but it's entirely way too small. Lastly, the showers are dreadful. There is nothing more unsatisfying than taking a shower with low water pressure. Now for the positives. The rooms are very spacious and come equipped with an HD television. The beds are very comfortable and will definitely give you a good nights sleep. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help you out with any questions. As for my favorite part of the hotel, it has to be the pool area. It's a great spot to be able to kick back and relax. The jacuzzi didn't hurt either.

Not sure why there are some negative reviews on this place! Stayed here for my wedding as I got married right across the street at the Lightner, it was a perfect location to stay. The hotel is beautiful and staff was friendly and helpful. We had two rooms one for kids which was the standard room and an upgraded room for us which was large and beautiful with a canopy bed. It is probably the best local in all of the historic district and the food at the restaurant was superb! Rooms are clean and decorated well, I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Nice Hotel in the absolute centre of St. Augustine. But unfortunately the Acoustics (air conditioning) is bad. The roar and Howl the whole night through is really annoying. The atmosphere in the Hotel otherwise is excellent.
