This has been the best experience I’ve ever had at a B&B. The proprietor, Joy, and staff treat their guests like royalty. The place is gorgeous and super clean with flowers everywhere. They serve a complimentary gourmet breakfast-BEST I’ve ever had at B&B or hotel,, delicious appetizers with wine/beer or soda at their nightly happy hour, and have homemade cookies and brownies as snacks. Joy and her team are true professionals with attention to detail, attentive, but not intrusive. All the other guests I spoke to felt the same way. The place is gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. You will be spoiled! The beds were so comfortable, I slept better there than in my own bed at home! Great views of the bay from the decks and balconies and my room. The location not have been better! Walking to everything, but not in the really crazy crowded area. I’ve stayed in ALL the highest rated accommodations in St Augustine and the Westcott House is by far my favorite. Not only the accommodations, location, food and service, its how they truly care that makes this place truly stand out.

Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. We got in late so we ordered the in room breakfast and it was pure bliss! Delicious and beautiful. The grounds and house is gorgeous, took many pictures! Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Joy and the staff was very welcoming. They made us feel at home.
The room we stayed in due to last minute booking, was the Allison Room aka the attic. Don’t let it mislead you… it was spacious, comfortable and private! So we called it, the penthouse!
Make sure you join in on their cheese and wine time late afternoons, it really was nice after a busy/fun day.
Definitely come with a appetite for breakfast… plentiful deliciously🤤😋

Clean, spacious rooms, quiet hotel, very conveniently located in the Historic District. The lady in the front desk was very nice and the hot breakfast was great, they also have a display of cheese, crackers, cookies and fruits in the lobby at 4 pm everyday. We loved our stay and will definitely stay there again!

The worse $300 nights sleep we have had in a hotel. On entering the receptionist was very abrupt and insisted on quoting the rules before handing us the keys to room 102. The double room was hmmm! $50 motel (ish), about 15x15 with a bathroom the size of what you might find in a travel trailer. We set down for the night in what was a comfortable but VERY squeaky contraceptive bed. Night night. I am so glad we had some drinks before bed, we wouldn’t have had the few hours sleep we got. We woke at 2, 3, 4, 5am to an industrial compressor in the room, AKA the air conditioning, a refrigerator that rumbled all night and radio clock that would randomly give out a static noise. We turned the AC off, unplugged the refrigerator and the radio. This didn’t help as the walls still rumbled with the sound of the neighbors industrial AC unit, talking, footsteps and toilets flushing. All this for a grand total of $292. Mutton priced as lamb! We left early for home to get some sleep. God only know what their breakfast was like.

This was our second time to Westcott House. The first time we stayed there was on our honeymoon, it was fabulous. We've decided to make the Westcott House our go to spot every time we visit St Augustine. We thank the staff so much, we appreciate everything they do for us and the breakfast is to die for. Thank you.

I have had the opportunity of staying all over St. Augustine but the Bayfront Inn is a hidden gem. The room was nice and clean. I felt like I was at home. If you have a family of 4 please try the 2 bedroom suite… plenty of space and privacy for everyone, you will not be disappointed. Mrs London will help you with all your booking needs…

We won’t stay anywhere else when we come to Saint Augustine, which is usually 1-3 times a year. Amazing staff, great food, wonderful location. Oh and if you are curious the rooms are always clean, and they wipe down everything, even the light switches and remotes. It’s been 6 years since our first stay, and we have never had a negative day here.

Thank you so very much for creating such a beautiful environment for us to celebrate a friend’s birthday and a special ladies’ night at your inn. It was welcoming, cozy, the staff was extremely hospitable making us feel like princesses, & our breakfast in bed fit for a king was out of this world! Comfortable, affordable, and the best location for touring Old St. Augustine. Free parking and being able to walk to most of the downtown area is great, and the complimentary hot breakfast is a great way to start your touring. And the cold citrus water in the lobby is so refreshing when you return from a day. The staff are wonderful and friendly. L.

We had a great two night stay at this Inn. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. We will recommend and be back. Also, the owners owns the Whetstone Chocolate stores. Great chocolates also.

Great Hotel to stay at — Staff is so friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable, clean and bed was comfy, hot breakfast was great, plus all day coffee, water and awesome chocolate cookies, the view is beautiful of the boats and the Bridge of Loins, location is really convenient as it is walking distance to absolutely everything but still on a quiet block which is nice. I highly recommend this Hotel and we will definitely return here on our next trip!

BEWARE! DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO KEEP IN ROOM! Left our packet of tour tickets in the room while we went to one of the attractions on the first morning, when we came back they were gone. After letting desk know what happened at 1230pm, we waited all day to hear from hotel. When I went to question the manager about it at 6pm that evening she told me she could call and get the tickets replaced from tour company, but they were not responsible for items left in room. I asked to be refunded for both future days and checked out. I have no interest in staying somewhere I can't leave items without worrying that my belongings are not safe in my hotel room. At least she didn't give me a hard time about the refund of already prepaid days!

Jenny and I left this morning after staying Friday & Saturday night. I believe this was our 4th stay. It is always a great retreat. The staff are great. They work hard at being very attentive. A special thanks to Ryan. We love the house and especially the rooms. Wonderful gourmet breakfasts and good coffee. Will be back and giving referrals. And happy anniversary to Joy & Andrew.

Just stayed there. The girls in the office are great the breakfast is good The room was small and no place to put anything in the bathroom. The chairs are hard and no place to put your feet. The floor is dirty worn white socks and bottom was black after walking in the room. Not staying there again.

We paid to stay for 2 nights in a room that had a very clear view in our bathroom and shower to the balcony behind us. Someone had scrapped off some white spray management sprayed on window. The very small bathroom shower did not drain the water after bathing for 4 hours just standing water. No fan in bathroom to reduce heat from shower. When I went down to the pool in the afternoon of the first full day being here with my 9 year old son we got in pool only to realize the algae and black fungus growing all around on pool walls. Another guest staying at the inn had entered the pool area to use it and notice what I clearly had overlooked and told me and my son to get out before we get sick. Are you serious? I would have never expected this after paying over $240 a night here. I left the pool area with my son and went to the office to find a guy manager and a young lady when asking them about the state of the pool she had her back to me and said the pool we just had that cleaned. Her back to me so rude I told her she was not being helpful and turning her back and talking to a customer is rude. She honestly was discrediting when the pool was 15 feet from the office. The manager became overwhelmed with excitement and basically disregarded our bathroom window, our drain, and anything remotely to do with the pool. I was not asking for a refund or anything free just to be acknowledged as a customer and putting my concerns for myself and my son being in the pool.

Stayed there with some friends for a staycation. The staff were super helpful and courteous. The room we booked was a lot bigger than the pictures online looked. Location was a quick walk from the shopping area, restaurants, and sightseeing places like the Castillo San Marcos but still nice and quiet. I would definitely book this place again.

Amazing breakfast and staff. Fantastic location to downtown and views of the bay. Rooms are more than adequate, just keep in mind that this is a 100 year old house. Highly recommend.

Hotel to advise, with parking very well located close to the city center. Clean rooms with a little old-fashioned décor, very quiet, comfortable bedding (except for the pillows too padded). Low Wi-Fi Connection depending on the remoteness of the room.

This place is amazing. Staff are wonderful, service is wonderful. Splendid view of the bay while you eat your breakfast on the porch.

Our stay was great. The location is right on the river and walking distance to all attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Their parking lot is 4 blocks away so that can be annoying if you're not up for walking but it was fine for us.

The hotel itself is quaint. The rooms are small, but clean. But I warn you, do not accept a lower floor room. I saved for months to surprise my husband with a weekend away. We were woken the first morning at 6:30, by the upstairs guests banging/stomping across the floor. It continued all day and in to the night. There is no insulation at all in the flooring. We have just arrived home and I am exhausted because we have gotten no sleep. I did not complain to the staff as how can they ask other guests not to be active in their rooms. And it was a booked weekend so I knew there were no other rooms available. The view and proximity was nice. But we won’t stay again.

The place is elegant and everything a B&B should be. The food is amazing. The employees are so friendly and willing to do anything to help make your stay more comfortable. It's also very close to everything fabulous about St Augustine.

4.5 stars. But there's no 1/2 stars Nice rooms and good location with a view of the Matanzas Bay. So it was easy to walk to alot of the St Augustine reataurants and see historic landmarks like the Fort … Old Town area is just a few blocks also. The breakfast were delicious and unique. At times I felt like I was at an all inclusive. All of the staff were very attentive and very accommodating. The evening wine/beer and finger food were nice. The only negative is parking… They have very limited parking near the house, so you likely will have to park a few blocks away in a lot they have and walk. Not very handy when it's raining or you forgot something in the car. Would have given it 5 stars if the parking was better.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The furnishing style of the rooms did not please me personally. I would call it shabby — chic, which has come a little over the years. The central location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.

This place is absolutely great. Great service and very clean rooms. I usually get grossed out by hotels and hate staying at them. This hotel however was amazing for me. I felt like I was at home it was very clean and felt comfortable. I definitely recommend this place. I have stayed at the top hotel in the downtown area before and not only is this place cheaper than the other hotels, but it is also just as nice.

This was a last minute booking for Valentines and I couldn’t have been happier with this find. Fantastic location right on the waterfront in the heart of the historic district. Every member of staff that I encountered from the reception, breakfast and cleaners were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had everything that you would need plus the addition of chocolates on the pillow and fresh baked cookies at the lobby was a nice touch. I will be sure to stay again on my next visit to St Augustine.

We had a wonderful overnite stay with another couple. It was too cold (for the horses-I'm glad they treat them well) but the holiday lights were magical, the Collage restaurant was fabulous, the talk by an historian at the B&B was thought provoking and fun and the room was sizable yet cozy. A wonderful holiday gift to ourselves.

We visited during Christmas and loved our stay at The Bayfront Inn. The staff was so very kind and friendly. We even recieved a personalized Christmas Card from the staff and yummy cookies upon arrival. Our room was very clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was just as lovely and a step up from most of the other hotels we have stayed at while visiting in St. Augustine. We could have stayed at The Marion Motor Lodge next door for $15 less but they do not offer ANY BREAKFAST what so ever. Plus we were recommended this hotel by a couple in Savannah GA! We made the right choice and will be back in July!

Excellent location right in the heart of downtown with onsite parking. Our room was desperately in need of an upgrade, especially the bathroom, despite the fact that it was the most expensive hotel on our way to S Florida. The breakfast area was well stocked & staff friendly. Maybe the other rooms were better?

The location is fantastic. Free parking, breakfast, and Wi-Fi make this a great option if visiting old town St. Augustine. The staff is excellent as well. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because of the pillows being so uncomfortable. The room overall also was a bit musty, but overall those were minor issues and would recommend this inn when visiting the area.

The staff was amazing. They were so friendly and helpful, as "first timers" we weren't always sure of what to do or where to go in town, but the Westcott staff was right there to lend a hand. The room was fantastic and the view was incredible. Such a neat and cozy place. Almost everything you could want to do was a (very) short walk away. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and the social hour and food they offered is very good. Only thing that we had an issue with was the water being a bit cold during times, and you could hear everything from other rooms. Beautiful home, and very pretty views.

A hidden Gem of St Augustine, right off of the main portion of St George's row and close to many other places to visit. Rates are good and the rooms still have the that charm, with comfort of modern places.

Went here with my girlfriend for our Anniversary. We couldn't have had a better experience. Joy and her staff were so pleasant and attentive. Whatever we needed, they were there to assist. The room was extremely clean and updated, and breakfast on the porch overlooking the harbor was the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Bayfront Westcott House for two nights early October during our honeymoon. BWH was just perfect — the location in Old Town St. Augustine is ideal, our room was lovely and the owners and their staff were more than friendly. 5 Star rating and a strong recommendation from us!

Wonderful B&B to spend our 25th anniversary at! The staff was absolutely wonderful, the room was gorgeous and we loved the amenities. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast outdoors which allowed us a lovely view of the bay. We found ourselves a home away from home in St. Augustine. You won't be disappointed!

Location of Inn perfect, parking lot blocks away. Nice time until TWO of my brand new Lilly Pulitzer dresses (tags still on) disappear… yep… gone! Manager calls, accusatory tone telling me video shows nothing yet he was not aware that a plunger was left in our room and sink was cleaned while we were out… selective video watching perhaps! Will NOT return! The B&B next door looks lovely.

Absolutely amazing b&b with fantastic staff leaving you wanting for nothing. Breakfast in the mornings was masterfully prepared by the chef. Room was on the small side but it gives it a cozy feel with a beautifully laid out high end bathroom. Just go.

I had a great stay. The hotel was clean and a nice place to stay. We got the 2 bedroom suite. I do wished it had to bathrooms in the suite. The staff was great as well.

We are staying here for the 4th of July holiday and it has been such a great time. We are staying in the Rachel… which is 1 of their small rooms but it's still comfortable and quite cozy. Their hospitality and genuine customer service is top notch. We have felt very much at home here and its a perfect location — right off the water by the Bridge of Lions. Their breakfast has been delicious and what we love even more is that they have other options to choose from in case you don't want their special of the day. If you're looking for a B&B in St Augustine… this is definitely one to consider.

Wonderful front desk staff. Room was immaculate and fresh. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Take advantage of the observation deck for a great view of the water.

Bed and breakfast. Lovely Inn. Close to all of the attractions. If the weather is nice everything is within walking distance to meet your shopping and food needs. The beach is about three and a half miles away. The staff here are very friendly and pleasant. The room I stayed in has a big huge garden tub with jacuzzi if you should feel the need to soak. The beds here are very comfortable and the room is very beautifully decorated. The breakfast here was lovely but not suitable for a vegan such as myself. Other than that I had a nice enjoyable stay here at the Westcott Inn. I neglected to mention that it is across the street from the bay.

We always stay here convenient To everything. The staff is friendly and helpful. Quaint rooms and clean. Love the new showers. Beds are not that comfortable could use new mattresses and pillows. Overall a really nice stay. Breakfast is included too.

The Bayfront Inn is very clean and well kept. The grounds are immaculate! Hard to tell a hurricaine just came through a few months ago. The staff are very warm & welcoming and took great care of us. The property is very close to downtown, easy walking distance, but they're just off the well beaten path! The down side? The walls are a bit thin and when the trolleys drive by it sounded like they were coming through the room. Ruined our nap. The drapes in our room were well worn and need to be replaced, but they still kept the light out. Our room needed a deep cleaning, we found dust on top of the headboard, bathroom mirror, pictures, light fixtures, and door jams. It wasn't bad, but it's been a while. I think we've watched too many episodes of Hotel Impossible. The hot breakfasts were very nice and the coffee was ready at 7 a. M. Sharp. The Wi-Fi worked without a hitch and they provide a complimentary newspaper every morning in the dining room. I would absolutely recommend this Inn to friends and family.

We arrived on Monday 11/21 at approximately 7:00 pm. We noticed a sign in the lobby door stating the water would be turned off by the city on 11/22 from 9 am to 3 pm. We understood the city was doing this so we made sure we showered before 9 am on the 22nd. At approximately 8 am on 11/22 we began to hear very loud construction noises from the room next to us. The hammering on the wall shook the mirror in the bathroom and the workers conversations could be heard plainly through the walls. Upon stepping outside our room I noticed the construction was being performed on all the rooms on that side of the building. We were the only ones staying on that side of the hotel. The work and loud noises accompanying power tools and hand tools continued up until 6:30 pm that night. When we went to the front desk they stated they did not have another room with a king bed in it. The woman at the front desk seemed annoyed that we would have an issue with the noise stating that we "got a good price". Because the construction had stopped we decided to stay in our room as we were leaving around 8 am the following day. At approximately 2 am the next morning, 11/23, the smoke detector started chirping. I immediately went to the front desk, however the door was locked and there was nobody there. I returned to my room to hear the continual noise and called the front desk. I let the phone ring for several minutes, no answer.

Most likely the best B&B I've ever stayed in. The place is amazingly beautiful and is steeped in history. The view from the front porch or some of the rooms is breathtaking. Joy, Andrew, and their incredible staff strive to and succeed in making your every minute awesome! Can't wait to go back!

We stayed at the Bayfront location on Charlotte St. It was a very charming, and homey house in a perfect location. Walking distance to everything that is St Augustine… historical homes and buildings, dining, shopping and entertainment. The staff at Bayfront were very professional, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included in the price, was not your typical cereal, bagel, waffle machine but warm fresh scramble eggs, hash brown potatoes with a twist and the best oatmeal I have ever eaten (loaded with raisins and apples) The breakfast host, Donna was wonderful, and very thoughtful. I didn't want to leave. We will be coming back and will definitely recommend the Bayfront Inn to friends and family.

It was a good price and the the location was great. The bed was not fantastic, however I did not spend much time in the room beyond sleeping.

Would not recommend this place to ANYONE. First of all, the room was tiny-not "quaint", just cramped. It was not very clean either-the carpet was worn and dirty and there was dust all over the closet doors-which I opened to hang my nice dress in. The furniture was scratched and smudged and there was something sticky on the wall in the bath. They have a jar of cotton balls and swabs for you to use, but when I pulled out a few, there was a dirty cotton ball underneath. Eww. Oh and the best part? I called to say I had left my nice dress in the aforementioned closet (I know, my bad) — they said they looked and didn't find it, so I must be "mistaken" that I had left it. Basically calling me a liar and no offer of compensation or apology. So the staff is not exactly trustworthy or even polite. All this for only 230$ a night? No thanks-stay elsewhere.

Great location with free parking. Most attractions are within walk distance. Room is clean and breakfast is OK. They offer one kind of tea for free and it is delicious.

Stayed here for a wedding in October. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable and it was in close proximity to everything! Don't forget the complimentary yummy breakfasts served daily, that are made right there from "scratch! "

After comparing similar bed and breakfast establishments online, we chose Bayfront based on the location and pictures of the rooms they had on their website. We were not disappointed. We chose the "Rebecca" room, and it fit our needs perfectly for a weekend getaway. The location is close enough for walking to most of the sites to see, yet it is not around the late night hustle and bustle that would keep you up at nights. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating right from the moment of our arrival.

Omg! Took by boyfriend here for his birthday and fell in love with the place. The room looked exactly like the pics found on their website. I ordered the romantic package and as promise we arrived with cold wine and chocolate cover strawberry's in our room. The staff members here make you feel welcome. One staff member gave up her parking spot just so we can park. I thought that was so sweet, since parking in St. Augustine is a nightmare. Their was a free social hour so we got to drink for free and eat delicious appetizer. Morning breakfast was delicious and overall it was a great experience. It is also walking distance to pretty much everything in St. Augustine. It was a bit pricing but it's worth every dime. I would have to say best hospitality experience I ever had. Hands down.

Magic, opulent gorgeous, sweet incredible cozy rooms gigantic jacuzzi bath tubs, perfect bed and breakfast. Waffles breakfast. Access to everything perfect views if I could give this place 10 stars It would get 11.

Bayfront Westcott House B and B is a beautiful place with extremely nice staff, great happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and an even better breakfast. Seating outside for breakfast, watching the water and the boat go by, is very relaxing. Great place to stay, within walking distance to main street.

We had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before and weren't sure what to expect. The staff was outstanding as was the location. Victoria's room exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer. Already planning a return during the Nights Of Lights in December.

We were recommended the Bayfront Westcott as a place to stay for our first anniversary, and when we looked it up, we were shocked to see something on Google reviews with such a high rating! It absolutely deserves every star. We stayed in the Catherine room, and enjoyed kind and attentive staff and amazing breakfast for 2 days. We were in easy walking distance of the main part of downtown St. Augustine, and every recommendation Joy gave for restaurants was fantastic! I really don't think I've ever stayed anywhere better, and I fully recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in St. Augustine.

We enjoyed our stay at Bayfront Westcott in June 2014. Our room (Minorcan) was comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. Breakfasts were delicious and served on a wonderful covered porch overlooking the bay. I could have spent my whole trip sitting on the porch enjoying the view but it was a short walk to many of the attractions the Old Town area of St. Augustine has to offer. The only downside was that there is no onsite parking and it is a little bit of a walk to the parking spaces provided so that should be considered if you have mobility issues. For a fee the staff will feed the metered parking spaces in front of the house if you wish. We had a lovely time at the Bayfront Westcott House and would gladly stay there again.

The best customer service we have ever experienced during any lodging experience. This B and B is owned and staffed by superb professionals who cater to your every whim. The setting alone is wonderful, but when you add the friendliness and courtesy of the staff along with the never ending food and treats, it becomes an unforgettable experience. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean with modern baths. You cannot find a better B and B in St. Augustine. It's located within walking distance to all of the historic sites and restaurants. Stay and enjoy.

This was our 8th time staying at Bayfront Westcott House. My wife and I have celebrated our anniversary at this charming B&B every year, since we fell in love with it back in 2007. Since that first year, we have stayed in 8 different themed rooms, each with their own charm. The staff and owners are always a pleasure to deal with and have a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding attractions and restaurants. We are looking forward to next year already.
