A great place to stay. The rooms were nice, and clean, the bathroom was a good size and had a tub. Also had a flat screen tv which was nice. The only thing I will have to say the ac in our room wasn't that good. The breakfast was okay, they had bananas, donuts, some toast, cereal and few other things. The indoor pool was cool because when we first got there there was a thunderstorm but we could still swim which was nice and the pool was clean. Will definitely stay here agian. Would definitely recommend.

Location was great. Price was excellent. However the rooms could use some work. They are in the process of renovation so we'll see in the coming months how it improves.

We planned a last minute trip to St. Augustine and got a room here for 4 nights at a great price. Call the Inn direct and may get better pricing. The room was clean, quiet and great walking to anything including the pier and beach. Not far from downtown area. Was thrilled with the hotel employees very nice and helpful. Free danish and coffee for breakfast. A much needed getaway turned into a memory making vacation for the husband and I. Will be back and will stay here again. Hopefully getting the same room. 102 was perfect. Thank you for a fun relaxing getaway. We will be back and will tell all our friends about how great the Regency Inn and Suites is in St. Augustine.

I would give this place 2. 5 stars if I could. It isn't the worst place we have ever stayed at, but it is far from the best. We had two rooms reserved for two nights and they were supposed to be neighboring rooms. Upon check-in, the desk clerk tried charging $30 more per room than what the reservation stated and the two rooms are not side by side. Both rooms had a strong, nasty odor. One selling point for this place is they are across the street from the beach. At this time, you CANNOT access the beach unless you go further down the road. The beach is blocked off because they are rebuilding the beach. We had ant problems in both rooms and we killed a German roach in our room. My friend's husband took the dead roach to the front desk and the owner was supposed to be there in the morning and we could speak with him. Never happened. The free breakfast consisted of stale cereal and pastries. There were a couple of slices of bread laying in an open bread bag next to a toaster. The bananas were ok. Juice, milk, and coffee were offered, but no decaf. There were a few bugs near the cups and sink. The curtain in our room had a dusty whitish-green residue on it. A little later in the morning, my daughter came down with a nasty migraine and got sick and wound up vomiting in a trash can. I cleaned the can and went to see if they had any disinfecting spray I could use to sanitize the can. I found a housekeeper at the far end of the building cleaning a room.

The area isn't too bad around this place, but be warned… If you're looking for a 5-star experience, you aren't going to find it here. The employees were nice, but the rooms were not. We stayed three days and each day we were there, a German roach was killed (and according to Google if there is one, there's thousands. ) There was a scent of mold in the rooms and sugar ants all around the bathroom area mostly. The beds were comfortable and that was about it. It was dirty and our room obviously hadn't had a deep cleaning in a very long time. The included breakfast was ridiculous, as well. The only thing that wasn't too bad was the coffee and even that I could have gotten better at the gas station that's located almost in their parking lot. And, to top it ALL OFF something/someone knocked on our door twice and there was absolutely nobody there. I was standing by the door when it happened the 2nd time and instantly checked and there was nobody there. Also, an orb was captured in the breezeway. So, ghosts are included along with breakfast. If you're just looking for a place to stay and the room doesn't really matter, then it's ok. But if you're a picky person, I suggest finding somewhere else.

My husband and I stayed here for a concert. We loved the pool and the close access to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. My least favorite would have to be the stiff bed and carb filled breakfast choices.

Great location next to Salt Life and across the street from the ocean. Close to the amphitheatre, so it's good for an overnight after a concert. Going through remodel. Beds were comfy. Staff was quick to respond to issue with the toilet.

The hotel was not very clean, but the location was fantastic. We were right across from public beach access with a pier and within walking distance of two restaurants. The first floor rooms were undergoing renovations so hopefully it will be better next time. The bathroom was so small that it was hard to walk in and close the door. Not much you can do about that, it was just an annoyance.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and I will never stay at any other hotel in Saint Augustine. The room was very clean, the service was the best I've ever had and my family had a blast in their cozy heated pool. They didn't offer a hot breakfast but there were many different things to choose from.

My fiancé is in a wheelchair and was pleased to know they had a handicap accessible room. The bathroom seemed like one of the best, until we realized that my fiancé couldn't reach the shower head and it only sprayed the wall making it very annoying to shower with it mounted. There was no handicap parking by the room. The overall feeling of the hotel was very sketchy and my fiancé wanted me to double check that I had locked my doors. I would not suggest this hotel to a friend.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. They are in the middle of a rehab, so obviously everything is not finished yet. Even still, had to kill three roaches in the room to the first night, and the room was also very musty. Had to spray Lysol Neutra Air in the room and A/C, as the musty smell came primarily from the A/C. This helped neutralize and kill germs in the air and room. Was great after that! The hot/cold breakfast was primarily bananas, cereal, toast, little muffins, and danishes. Also had 2% milk, Orange Juice, and Apple Juice. Still a nice little bonus as a free breakfast.

Not sure if I got an older room that had not been remodeled yet, but the room needed renovation. All fixtures and faucets were loose. Moving around on the wall or sink loose. Room was very warm when we arrived. The AC unit took a long time to get the room cooled off and we showed up after sunset. This had to be an older room as the carpet needed replaced long ago. Most of the first floor was be renovated. So there is hope later. The laundry room was in bad shape and the light was not working. Only one washer and one dryer. I took a pass on doing laundry there. Great price for the location, but I would see the room before I made the purchase.

Nice service. They went out and bought ice for the guests when the ice machines were down. The room had a slight mildew smell but they are in the middle of renovating so I'm sure that will be remedied soon. The price is great for the location to the beach and indoor warmed pool. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. Great water pressure in the shower — impressive for an inn!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for one night over the weekend. This was our first trip to St Augustine, we had originally booked at another hotel in town but stayed there one night and decided we wanted to be closer to the beach. The lady at check in was really sweet, and the room was clean. If you're looking for a bed, somewhere cheap, and relatively close to the beach, you can't go wrong here. The breakfast is basically pastry and cereal, but we enjoyed it. Did not like the indoor pool, our AC wasn't very good… But I'm one of those people who sleeps with a fan year round. We would stay here again.

Its not worth the hassle. Spend a few extra bucks and go somewhere decent. We stayed in a room upstairs 221 or 211 something like that for 2 nights. I called 3 weeks in advance to make the reservation and asked for a Jacuzzi tub because we were going to be there for my birthday. I was told she reserved a king size room with a Jacuzzi tub for me at a rate of fifty something a night. When we arrived the woman at the front desk (larger rude woman) charged us for sixty something a night. Still not a bad price. We went to our room which was kind of far from the stairs (no elevator) as we passed the ice machine I noticed a sign on it saying something like dont take too much ice. Come to find out the machine didn't even work in the first place. When we got into our room it was hot and sticky and smelt like mold so we kicked on the air (which didn't make the smell any better) in the room was a king size bed, two dressers on either side of the bed a tiny table and a dresser in front of the bed under the tv. No couch no chair no desk nothing. The bed had an unfinished comforter on it with a sheet (and pillows). Thats it! there wasn't even a fitted sheet on the bed! when I lifted the sheet there were hairs in the mattress and weaved into the pillow cases and crums all in the mattress cracks. So gross! the sink area was a little weird too. Just looked unclean in general and the bathroom was really tiny maybe 3x5 not including the tub?

We, three guests, had to get the odd room with three beds. It was not bad, but all but two of the lights were burned out, coffee pot was not right, and the TV IR receiver was tied to the wall lamp, and the greater not working, you can't beat the price and the customer

Stayed in the King Sweet. Loved the jacuzzi tub! Only thing I didn't like was when we first entered the room it smelled moldy (I'm guessing someone went to the beach and threw their wet clothes all over the floor and the staff didn't steam clean afterwards) and the elevator has NO air flow so it was humid inside. Other then that the staff was friendly, pool was nice, room was nice. Will be staying again in the future!
