First of all, the location, we thought that it was closer to Saint Augustine historic District but it’s actually 20 to 30 minute drive from the storks in Augustine. That one we can chalk up is our fault for not doing our research. The bed-and-breakfast itself is definitely more of a modern hotel than a bed-and-breakfast. We stayed in the Asian room which is really just a few pieces of Asian art in a normal hotel room. The door from the room to the bathroom has a full length window so there is zero privacy for anyone using the restroom. Not cool. If you’ve been married for 20 years and there are absolutely no secrets between you then that may be OK but on a two year dating anniversary like I was on, Not cool. The noise from the highway was awful. There was so much light coming through the room door from the hallway that it was hard to get any sleep. The pillows were so over sized and firm that both of our next hurt in the morning. They advertise a Jacuzzi and a pool but we find that neither one of them are in Service at the moment. We would not have booked anywhere for anniversary but didn’t have a Jacuzzi. When we ask the staff about it they just act like they don’t know that it’s not in service. The few highlights were the food was pretty good, the facilities themselves are clean and you can park right in front of the building, which is nice.
