When we arrived to the hotel there was no one at the front desk to greet us or check us in. We and a line of other customers waited for 15-20 minutes before one customer had to start knocking on doors in search of an employee. This was a bad start that we would have happily overlooked had this not been the dirtiest Hyatt we have stayed in by far. The room was not well cleaned to say the least. The AC was turned off when we arrived so the room was boiling. Most furniture is stained, the carpets are torn up, and dust, mold, hair, and mystery residue/splatters are everywhere. The carpets and wallpaper are also warping and the ceilings are stained. I’ll save my money and time by staying with Holiday or Hampton Inn next time.

I spent one night down there last weekend and the room was absolutely filthy. Floors hadn't been vacuumed, furniture was dusty, Kleenex box was dirty, mirrors had streaks and handprints, wallpaper was moldy and peeling off in the bathroom, plumbing behind the toilet was rusted. On top of that, the rack of clean towels is IN the shower with you so they get wet. With COVID-19 going around I expected better out of the Hyatt name. We cut our trip short and came home it was so bad.

Yes I recommend. Best staff anywhere in the world! special shout out to Mr Lee and Ms (mrs) Mya. They will absolutely go out of their way to make you feel like family! o hope their boss knows what they have in these two individuals.

your staff lost my ice packets which I use to keep my prep meals fresh and did not had the manners to reimburse me for my lost … as at this time of Coronavirus I cant go out to get any for my other work trips 2. Two of my hand towels in my room had blood on them which were neatly folded and place in the bathroom and at 1am no one wants to deal with such issues.

The air conditioner blows chunks of dirt out of the vent all over the furniture. They do not prepare bag breakfasts for you if you must leave before the breakfast time. The Wi-Fi is not always reliable. Hall carpets need more frequent vacuuming. Elevators need to be shined up. The TV remote felt sticky as though it hasn’t been wiped off. Bed was comfy and clean. Towels clean and water is hot.

The staff is attentive, courteous and professional. The rooms are spacious with a desk, sofa seating area, a partial decider separating the queen size beds and plenty spacious drawer storage and closet. The bathroom is clean and well stocked. There’s a swivel flat screen television that can be viewed from the left and right. The beds are comfortable and the right kind of firmness. What a great place to stay short term or longer.

Well, let see I see the last previous reviews are 5 star! I bet the next 5 are not. Here we go, the front desk could absolutely careless. Apparently the maid service staff quit or called in sick the day before the 4th of July cause there was none. Washer a dryer look good, but absolutely dysfunctional, they advised there were quarters and soap at the front desk at the actual machines, but when we went to inquire at the desk to get some, they said they don’t have any with an attitude that poltergeist would be afraid of. Pool had 2 towels for guest, there was 8 in the pool. Upon arriving trash cans were overflowing in the front. The room divider is broken and a hazard. The door to the room won’t close fully. Met a gentleman in the laundry room said he had the exact same experience, for the exception he had no TV function in the room, and they told him to bring them his used towels down to the front desk to get new ones! Wake Up HYATT! This has single handedly worst Hyatt place experience, from a World of Hyatt member. Picture is of the leaning room divider.

The hotel was nice, the room was clean, the staff was very pleasant while I stayed there. However, I noticed that my credit card was charged twice for my room. I called the hotel and spoke with the front desk, explained the situation, and offered to send my credit card statement to prove what I was saying. I received horrid customer service and the woman I spoke with was extremely rude. I work in customer service & I am the general manager of my job & I understand things happen. But to be given a nasty attitude because I called with a problem (nicely) looking for a solution is unacceptable. EDIT: the hotel has emailed me back, and apologized for my inconvenience & refunded the second charge back to my credit card. I will be changing the stars on my review because it was taken care of in a timely manner. I still do not appreciate he rudeness from the employee at the front desk, but management has taken care of my request quickly & efficiently.

Super friendly staff! Convenient location, super comfy beds, spacious rooms. Very clean hotel. We have been on the road all week from MI to Tallahassee now here and this one by far has been the best! Highly recommend! Keep up the awesome job!

Nice mid level hotel right at the airport. Comfortable and modern rooms not great for work space but relaxing. Full service restaurant with limited offerings but good. Breakfast is minimal. Okay for passing through.

Really good place to stay for a very affordable price. The staff bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and did everything possible to accommodate me and my family. There were things that could be fixed up a little bit in our room such as our drain in the tub and some cosmetic stuff but that didn't keep us from enjoying our stay at this beautiful hotel. It is right next to the airport but we never heard planes like you would have thought. We were impressed.

Great staff and clean spacious room. We had handicapped room — loved the walk-in shower, once I learned the controls. It would be helpful to put a sign showing how to adjust temp and determine which shower head to turn on. Breakfast selections were good, but they need to REPLACE the toaster! Never was able to get an actually toasted piece of bread. Lunch in the restaurant was WAY OVERPRICED and one of the worst hamburgers I ever tried to eat! Do not waste you money on them. Overall, I was expecting to be more impressed with a hotel with their reputation. Too expensive compared to other hotels in the area. It was very convenient to the airport. Make some tweaks to some issues to come up to the level you should be, based on reputation. Ola Fischer.

Clean room with nice sofa (can be use as bed). AC work nicely. Good breakfast. I have room with airport view, and it was nice to see airplanes takes off during the day. Hotel general area is well kept. Outside was clean and I feel safe to park the car or walk around at night. Wont mind to stay here again. Booked through PL express deal for one five oh, a little steep but it's a high season.

From what I can tell it seems to be very busy. It's just thirty minuted from Pensacola Beach and next to the airport. That's my guess as to why so busy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good as far as hotel breakfasts go.

It's updated and the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast we had is much better than your typical hotel continental breakfast. I enjoyed yogurt with fresh berries, granola, and slivered almonds, and cheesy scrambled eggs with meaty sausage links and almond milk. I did not eat other things that were available such as French toast sticks, raisin bread, English muffins, fruit juices like cranberry, orange, and apple or milk (2% and skim). They also have a bar, and they're dog friendly.

When you come here it feels like you at home Ms. Courtney was a great associate and made me and my wife stay here great. Great services soon as we hit the door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone in the area looking to stay!

Within seconds of the Pensacola Airport this hotel features fresh hot breakfast, a heated pool, and a fitness center. Hotel is kept very clean and customer service was awesome. The room was very spacious and clean as well. If you like taking super hot long showers this is the place, hot water is unlimited.

Rooms are very clean and nice stayed here 4 times only thing I didn't like was breakfast have the same thing everyday always have sausages no bacon n them nasty waffles. The workers are very nice and friendly. For the rooms to b almost 200 a night I think they should have better breakfast.

Our stay was three days. We ran into so many problems. Rooms had a lot of things not working, fire pit not working, heated pool looked crummy. And we got locked out of our room for a least 30 min. After my daughter cut her hand on the bathroom door that was broken, asked to move rooms we got the run around for one full day, until I got sooo frustrated and asked for the manager who too way to long to see what we needed. I must say I was very disappointed with our stay. The Hyatt has a great reputation but not this location. Also I am Vegan and the way you all pre prepare breakfast does not cater to lactose tolerate or allergy people.

Gorgeous room and a friendly staff. It's super close to the airport, you can take a shuttle to and from. They have food and desserts by the lobby.

The room was cold even after adjusting the thermostat. No closet in the room. It was clean and spacious. Wi-Fi was in and out.

Hyatt Place was an excellent place to stay. We came down from Missouri on an emergency trip to see my grand daughter. She had a brain tumor called DIPG. We only found out a month ago. We were called at 2:30 in the morning that she had 24-48 hours to live Hyatt Place was very accommodating for us staying in one room and told us we could stay as long as we needed. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

I expected noise from the airport but there was none. Breakfast is delicious! Bed is comfortable. Great hotel.

Came from Sarasota because of hurricane Irma. The place is great and so is the staff. It is pet friendly that's why we chose it. Plenty of people here with their pets who had to flee to Hurricane and we are just having a great time everyone is so so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone it is top-notch and they know how to run a hotel.

The location right next to the airport was great. I was able to return my rental car early and stay at the hotel overnight (at the end of working in the area and flying home). The next morning I was able to walk to the terminal from the hotel and had plenty of time to spare at the airport. The room was nice and very clean. The AC worked and kept the room cool, but made an odd buzzing noise when it wasn't running. The service at the bar was great. Bunch of coworkers and I sat there watching the football game drinking some beers. The bartender was very professional and friendly. The gallery (front desk) staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The soundproof glass/building blocked all the noise from the airport, so there was no disturbing my sleep. Overall a great experience.

Recently our client, and touring comedian, Bianca Caruso stayed here while on tour and performing in Pensacola. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to the late hours check-in, and the room was perfectly clean and quiet. Speaking of late night hours, the 24/7 cafe was a perfect place to grab some snacks after the gig, and there was a free breakfast in the morning!

We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed our stay. Recently we stayed for 5 days and our experience was quite opposite to say the least! After driving for hours to get there, the room keys didn't work. There was absolutely no urgency in this matter. Several times they sent someone who wasn't knowledgeable about how to fix the issue. We spent a very long time in a hot hallway waiting for someone to help. The front desk was of no help and seemed very uncaring. The management promised us a room upgrade which never happened. We eventually moved to The Hilton Garden for the rest of our stay which was a night and day difference. The staff there seemed to care and was always happy to go out of their way to help. It was much cleaner as well. The whole environment and attitude was fabulous at Hilton AND the cost wasn't much of a difference.

It was nice and clean. Friendly staff and very helpful. No complaints. Did run out of a few things during breakfast but there was a big rush of people that come in at once. Breakfast was ok for a free breakfast nothing fantastic but good enough.

This hotel was pretty good. Location was very convenient. However, the bathroom should have been a cleaner (soap scum and a little mildew on tile. Plus, I saw some hair that wasn't mine… hated that. Fortunately, I always have cleaning supplies with me, especially for instances like this. On top of that, the air conditioner was loud… almost kept us up all night. Hotel has great potential, but has to work on these areas. Lastly, the evening hotel staffing was friendlier and more attentive than the morning staff. Gladly we only stayed on night.

I love it! Check in was super easy, and I've literally never seen a hotel so clean in my life! Usually I'm such a germaphobe, but I had no worries of nasty floors or beds here. Everything was spotless and the breakfast was great. The only thing that I didn't like was the indoor pool because it's so muggy and humid and not very well ventilated in there and that causes the air to feel nasty, but the kids enjoyed it and I'm not big on swimming anyway so it didn't bother me much. The hotel staff was amazing and they call our room each morning to ask if we needed anything. I didn't expect to be this satisfied since the prices were surprisingly cheap. And it's super quiet considering the fact that we're next to the airport. The rooms look very nice and very up to date. If we ever come back to Pensacola, this will definitely be our go-to hotel.

I stayed at the Hyatt a few weeks ago after trying to secure a long term rate over the phone and was told it would be taken care of. Although it wasn't at my arrival I found the person that I had discussed the rate with and she assured me she would try to get the fare we discussed. She called me later that day and told me the fare would be about 15 dollars more to which I agreed. When I left the hotel had actually overcharged me $100 dollars daily. I went in to talk to the desk to discuss my bill and discussed it with Jessica, the general manager, who never indicated that she was the general manager. She cut me off several times and said there was nothing she could do, noting 2 reasons: 1) the person that I dealt with did not have the authority to quote me this rate and also because she said that rate was not even one that they offered. She said she would look into it and never called or emailed. I returned a few days later with the "rate they never even had" and had to call the General Manager again to inquire about the overcharge. Instead of calling me she had the "person who did not have any authority" call me instead. This is a poor excuse for management — placing the load on a subordinate. As a physician it would be analogous to me having my technician call my patient after a serious complaint in my practice. I ended up leaving because integrity from management matters. I will never return to this hotel.

We stayed here overnight due to an early morning flight, and I loved this hotel! It was really clean and updated, and our room was so quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Being able to walk straight over to the terminal the next morning was super convenient. If you need to be near the airport, this is a great place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable room! We had a king room and the bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. Didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities, but the breakfast was delicious. :) Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Love the room layout and the couch/sofabed is great for kids. My kids loved watching the planes take off from the airort too. Great stay.

The food is cool and the vibe is chill but man the rooms need to be cleaned. We walked in to our room the first room to find it dirty. The cleaning ladies "cleaned" the next day but didn't vacum, hey left the bathroom dirty, & did not give any towels. Other than that everything else is good but if you're trying to have a clean room then this isn't the right hotel for you.

Overall, I would suggest that this hotel was one of the better choices my friend and I made all week. Two dilemmas, the shower door got stuck while I was in the bathroom, kix and we had a few sweet ants. After calling guests services, maintenance came up and sprayed for the bug issue. Awesome stay! BTW, I slept on the couch!

Just left this place and did not like it at all. Really nice hotel but it's the little things that doesn't make me want to come back. The main doors to your room don't close all the way. You can tell they tried to sanded it down but it didn't do the good job. The bathroom doors couldn't lock correctly, the hallway is hot, the elevator is like a sauna and we told all this to the manager and she didn't seem like she gave a damn! Also the free breakfast was awful. Normally my son loves eggs but he didn't even like their eggs. Definitely wouldn't come back here sorry Hyatt but I'm going back to Holiday Inns from now on.

Pretty nice hotel, but with some problems. One of the only 2 elevators shared between 6 floors wasnt working, making it very inconvenient and time consuming to get to the upper floors. We also had to move to a different room because our air conditioner wasn't working properly. These issues are concerning concidering the fact that the hotel is almost brand new.

The hotel is updated and quite stylish. The details are lacking however. The key generator was inop, housekeeping had to let us into our rooms each and every time. The second elevator was inop. No Wi-Fi or TV in the exercise room, the Ethernet cable in my room was faulty, there were burnt out bulbs in my room. Overall the Wi-Fi was weak making it hard to accomplish any work. The breakfast was nearly all carbs, no healthy choices. I was glad to leave.

Stayed here for a quick visit before attending a race the next day. Room was clean, relatively large with a pull out couch bed which was. The continental breakfast was adequately within expectations, but nothing to write home about. The area is pretty good and parking was sufficient for this hotel as well. A solid four because it was good, but nothing really stood out as superb.

Cons: -front desk staff: walked away when I was trying to check in. -galley staff: walked away when I was waiting to purchase something. -room: trash from previous guest not emptied in bathroom. Fridge turned off and smelled musty. -Room doesn't have any directory or information about the area. -Tried calling the front desk to find out why no one helped me at the galley, no one answered the phone. Pros: Proximity to airport Looks very nice in terms of design.

Very professional staff and also very friendly. Pillows are nice and the room is very modern. Standing showers with tile and lights featured behind the mirror. Many light fixtures around the room. Comfy couches within the room as well. Large LG TV that pivots so you could view from couch or bed. AC unit is built within the walls not like other hotels. Fridge is practical as well. Very clean facility too. Fitness room features two cardio and one adjustable bench for the variety of free weights. Pool is also indoors. Great stay.

I went to Pensacola last month for my cousin's wedding. I was a bit worried that I couldn't find a hotel with a luxury taste located within the city's perimeter. I have picked this Hyatt, and I must say that I had a great experience. I was welcomed in the lobby by the manager, Mr. Marc Allen. This gentleman is amazing. He helped me with my luggage, introduced me to his team, and ensured my stay was exceptional. He demonstrated a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently put to stay a small delegation at this hotel (2 doubles and 2 singles, total 4 rooms). Making a reservation over the phone on our company credit card was easy. Thanks for that. What was not easy at all and very frustrating, too is how I was able to get some form of bill/invoice. I called the hotel 4 times, and never got the invoice from them! First, front desk told me that there was no one at accounting at the moment (which is fine, — I understand they are busy), and took a note and promised that accounting would get back to me. No one did get back to me! I called again, front desk sent me to accounting again, accounting sent me back to front desk, my call dropped. I called again, was sent to sales this time, sales sent me back to front desk. Why would front desk provide me with bills or invoices, when it is accounting (or maybe sales department) that should be doing it. Or at least they could do it very easily. Instead they would tell me (and not in a friendly manner, but more with a very indifferent tone) that front desk will help me! After being bounced back and forth, I called the Hyatt nation wide 1-800 customer service and asked to address this, and supposedly they spoke with this property (both front desk and accounting) — at least that's what I was told, and I was promised to get invoice from hotel within the next couple of hours. (Hotel had my name and email already). 2 more days passed — nothing!

Very clean hotel, modern and bright. Good breakfast every morning and the lady who stocks it is super nice. In fact, the entire staff here are outgoing and friendly — makes for a very comfortable stay. As far as I am concerned thus is the best value for the money in Pensacola. I stay here at least 3x per year since it opened.

I checked in late on June 25, 2015 into a double bed room. After we unpacked our things and put out our clothing for the next day, we proceed to get some rest. As I laid in the bed and pulled back the covers, I noticed old dried blood on the fitted sheets. When the front desk was called, they queried whether it might be rust. I am a dialysis nurse of 20 + years and work with blood all day long so, my knowledge and assessment of blood is quite extensive. The young lady non-chalantly inquired if we we like to move or have someone come to change the sheets. It was almost 12 am and out trip had taken 6 hours to get to the hotel therefore we were not in the mood for BAD service. We agreed to the inconvenience of switching the rooms and was informed we would hear from the manager the next day or so and receive a discount. When we checked out, we never heard from management.

Customer service was top notch! The 24 hr shuttle service was a life saver. Customer service is emphasized at this hotel you'll definitely enjoy your stay. The rooms were great too, very modern.

Landed at Pensacola Airport @ 10:00 AM on FRI 3/6/15 from Orlando. I requested early check-in since I had spent the night in the Orlando Airport after having missed my connecting flight from Washington, DC because of a huge snowstorm. KIANA and HAZEL cheerfully met my haggard-self at the front desk, made a phone call to housekeeping, and told me that my room would be available for check-in within 20 minutes, even though check-in doesn't start until mid-afternoon. While I waited, HAZEL offered to brew a fresh cup of Starbucks coffee for me since they had already shut-down the breakfast area. Wow. What great service. And the coffee was spot-on! My room was impeccable. I was able to clean up and get to my morning meeting at 11:30. Thanks to KIANA and HAZEL for making it happen! This is the first time I have ever stayed at this particular property, and it will be my hotel of choice when returning to Pensacola.

The staff is wonderful and they treat me like a king every time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying the Pensacola area as a wonderful option.

Top notch service and amenities. I actually thought the hotel was brand new even though it is over a year old. My room literally had look as if I was the first person ever staying in it. The bathroom was especially clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The Hyatt Place Pensacola Airport has raised the bar. A must stay when in Pensacola.

As a person who travels for a living, I consider myself a pretty picky customer with regards to hotels. The Hyatt Place P'Cola makes the cut. Holly and Victoria were warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. The property was clean and my room was fresh and inviting. Believe me after a long day traveling its just what the doctor ordered. I would highly recommend this hotel and most of all the excellent staff. Great Job Adam (GM)! I'll be back:).

Given the limited options for regular business travelers in Pensacola, I was eagerly awaiting this hotel from the day I saw the "coming soon" sign outside the airport. With an average of 95 nights per year on the road, I appreciate the consistency that the Hyatt Place hotels provide. This property is no different — albeit with a slightly different and updated look. Value, location and service — exactly what you're looking for when booking business travel. The only downside? They stopped serving biscuits and gravy with the free breakfast.

New hotel, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast with Starbucks coffee and fruit and great little sandwiches. Very friendly and helpful staff. A short walk to the airport terminal.
