Review of Holiday Inn Panama City, an IHG Hotel 3*

Overall the hotel was pretty dirty. The hallways, floors and even the sheets were stained. The carpet in the hallways and rooms was very outdated and just kind of looked like crap. Beware the evening/night front desk lady Rebecca Kiddie she is a total @$$ HOLE! She always seems like you are inconveniencing her never eager or pleasant to work with anyone. Not only was she very rude to us but we saw her being rude to several guests both in person and on the phone throughout our 4 day stay. The lobby is kind of cool has ceiling fans all throughout. The lady who cleaned our room on the 2nd floor was great! We asked for new towels and more shampoo bcuz I have long hair and the small sample bottles were not enough for me she totally hooked us up with extra shampoo/conditioner and towels for the rest of our stay after just asking the one time. She also did a great job cleaning and organizing our room daily they should put her in charge of cleaning up the whole hotel! (and maybe run the front desk too. Lol). Also, we drove 14 hours to get to Florida and booked our hotel online days before. I requested an early check in at 7am since I knew we would be exhausted after a 14 hour drive, Rebecca Kiddie acted like we were killing her to check in early the apparently lost our “early check-in” reservation and made me show proof like we were checking in to Fort Knox. (Rebecca was trying to make us wait to check in until 4PM! ) I provided the email confirmation stating that we requested an early check in but she was not happy or very accommodating about it.
