Good location, comfortable bed, nice decor, mediocre breakfast.

The moment one walks in they are greeted by a professional staff member who is courteous and prompt. The rooms are clean and well stocked for the stay. There is an amazing selection for breakfast (from eggs and bacon to sausage and waffles). The hotel also has a pool in which to play and a hot tub in which to relax. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all friends and family.

Easy on and off I-75. Plenty of choices for eating within walking distance from hotel. Front desk clerk Sohia was friendly and courteous as are the dining room server. Facility and room well maintained and clean. Be careful when signing into Wi-Fi that you don't use your room number and name because you will be charged. If in Ocala again, I will stay here.

It's what you would expect from a Fairfield. It is clean and friendly. Place looked recently renovated and is a place to rest when on the road. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is not much more to expect. The included breakfast is always a plus. Remember, it's not free as you are paying for it in your room rate. While the sausage was horrible, the waffles and fruit were good enough to get you back on the road. I would stay here again without hesitation.

They were nice, and my room was clean. Convenient location! I did hear my neighbor's extremely loud TV on all through the night though. I was a little taken aback by how much you could hear. Breakfast was par for the course for free hotel breakfast.

They have created such a natural environment which makes the experience relaxing. The breakfast was really nice and the staff are super friendly. I would stay here again.

The room was very clean and all the staff there were very friendly. The rooms did seem to be a little small and the walls were a little thin. I could hear the neighbors TV quite clearly. The breakfast is really good! I would definitely stay here again.

Where to start; clean and updated rooms, AMAZING staff, hot breakfast, and a nice location! Jennifer & Heather really made this stay the most enjoyable for me. Jennifer took my phone call to accommodate my stay, and appears to work very long hours to ensure her guests are happy. I highly recommend staying here.

NO sleep, roaring trucks, broken fan so could not drown out noise, NO tub stopper so no releif there! Broken fridge took my warm salad out this morning. Toxic carpet smells bad. Be forewarned this ain't your mommas Marriot!

Dark, gloomy, smells of urine. We are very surprised. We have stayed in many and they were a always 5 star. Not this one.

Had a kidney stone during my stay. Hospital was close staff was outstanding and gave us extended late checkout the next day. Cant THANK them enough.

Ok, not great. Newly renovated rooms are very clean. Can hear highway a bit on the side we were on. Staff nice. Breakfast was ok not great. No bacon/sausage. They do have waffle machine. After tax most rooms were $105. We got screwed though, not fault of Fairfield Inn. I searched them on interweds, site was a scam I clicked on. Made to look like Marriott/Fairfield but when I call phone number it was PriceLine. Cost me $160 per room — at no time did they say PriceLine. They added a $55 fee. I had no idea till too late. Prepaid and all. My fault I did not catch the scam by looking close website name I clicked on I guess.

Good location. Rooms need refresh. Damp, musty smell when we entered room. Breakfast was good.

The rooms stink like humidity. There is construction going on the hotel. Not only must you smell the paint, dust and the smells of the room. I changed four rooms, until I found a less smelly room. I requested my employer to move me out. The staff are friendly and courteous. The coffee is excellent, they have cookies and coffee available. The rooms have refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, flat screen and Cable. Now if they can just clean the rooms right so they don't stink, it would be a great hotel. They should not have guests if they are doing construction, it's dirty, messy and unappealing. Did not enjoy my stay at all. I could not sleep.

Bath room has one cubby hole sink with poor lighting. TV has basic cable with about 25 channels, not including the weather channel. Other hotels near buy are much better value.

Booked on Travelocity for better rate, but arrived and found place under renovations. Breakfast was horrible, couldn’t move in lobby area. Management could have carried less. Never will we stay there again.

Strongly advise against staying here. Try Lake City. We awoke itching terribly from something that bit my husband and I from head to foot. I have traveled quite a bit, and have never had this happen. No hot water in the morning for showers, and the bathroom hadn't seen a good cleaning in ages. We're hoping the biting insects are not bedbugs! Unacceptable for a Fairfield property. Oh and the room ac couldn't get the temp below 80. Little sleep. Kind of eliminates the reason to use a hotel to begin with.

Horriable! Stay somewhere else. John" the so called night manager" accosted my family because he got woke up to do his job! Told the manager on days next morning and her attitude was " oh well". People wondering the parking lot all hours of the night. Just not a safe area for family's to stay. They try to put extra charges hold on your card. Believe me. I am a long time marriott rewards member and I have contacted the corporate office. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. I would love to speak with the owner. Poorly staffed and very POORLY MANAGED!

Hotel was adequate. Front desk never said good morning back to me. Several small dead ants found around my window. Room standard, if a little aged. Grouting around toilet paper holder had an open edge, which is a little gross, especially in a bathroom. Bed was ok. Sheets clean. Rug felt dirty to the touch. I understand you can't clean rugs after each client, but I wonder when the last time they were cleaned. Breakfast buffet was adequate; nothing fancy. I will be staying there in October again. Hopefully it feels cleaner.

Room was clean, but smelled like a gym locker room and felt somewhat damp everywhere. Shower had good water pressure, breakfast was good with lots of variety. We saw some tiny sugar ants in the bathroom. All staff was very friendly.

Our experience was great. Our only issue was the pool was down. We were there to go to the drive inn so it wasn't our focal activity though. The rest was awesome! The rooms were big and clean with everything we needed. We were especially pleased with the full breakfast and the staff in there. They went above and beyond.

Loved it the pool for morning laps was great.

Hotel is decent. John the overnight customer service guy was extremely rude. We heard a weird obnoxious noise. Just thought is was in someone elses room. 1 am it got louder so we called the front desk. John was extremely rude. Told us he would come down to check it out. 30 minutes later and after I realized it was the mini fridge I unplugged it. Called john back he answered the phone and said "Im on my way" very mad and rude like. We told him not to worry about it we did his job.

I had a terrible stay, in a terrible hotel.

I usually love staying at any Marriott, but this hotel is below standard. The staff is very nice and helpful as they can be, but the room is smaller than I'm used to, noisier than I amused to and it smells. Like a wet dog. I think the carpet gets wert regularly and it's just the smell of the kold, but that is not what I expect from a marriot.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff Traveled with the Cross Country Team and the staff setup a cold early breakfast for us because we had to leave before breakfast began Small elevator and room smelled when we arrived but either the A/C took away the smell or I got used to it :) because it didn't last long.

Everything was good except I brought my ps3 to watch movies and had to use RCA cables because the HDMI inputs are disabled. Bring your own tv.

We came here 4th of July weekend to explore the coast and visit the Appleton Museum. We decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn. We were surprised at how fresh the building looks for being nearly ten years old. George Steinbrenner is the owner — and his fingerprint shows. There is display case of Yankee items for sale! The service was great … I seemed to have numerous requests, faxes to send etc and they did it all cheerfully. I am light sleeper, and had the BEST nights sleep in a while. We stayed on the 3rd floor, so maybe the rooms are less used, but they seemed quite new. Not all rooms have fridge, so make sure your's does — it that is important. The Fairfield has one on the best breakfast bars for a mid-level hotel. Quite complete! "Nancy" the food Ambassador, from New York, did a great job of keeping the items stocked, with a full-house of hungry guests. I had placed two hard boiled eggs in a breakfast bowl, and while talking with her, I emptied my instant oatmeal packet unto it. She asked me if that's how I always ate my eggs!? I laughed and said "It is today. " She quickly rinsed off my eggs, and got me a new oatmeal packet. The ONLY complaint we had, is that for a three story hotel with over 50+ rooms, they only provide ONE SMALL elevator. Checking out on a weekend, it was a bit overtaxed, and the stairwells are at the far end of each wing. This is a great hotel, and one we were glad to have chosen. kudos fairfield of ocala!
