Good getaway place. Reasonable price. Clean and nice area. One block away from the beach.

Spent four days there for spring break and it was amazing. So relaxing. Deep bathtub. Nice people. We were a little confused at first on where our room was but there were signs that showed us where eventually. Maybe bigger and brighter signs may of helpped that out sooner. But it only took a couple minutes to notice. We got it for spring break this year and it was so niceeee. We had the room with the king sized bed and it was so nice. So close to the beach. All of my lytfs to the bars were only $2. A very deep bathtub! Made it hard to leave. We just kept soaking in the tub! Very nice & bright. Easily the best place ive booked. People were so nice. We had a note on the front welcoming me because my checkin was late. Just so nice.

The apartments are spacious clean modern and well-equipped. The only thing that parking is there is street that is public and paid for so it is difficult to get place… For my experience is good to drive without a car because you have the beach to 200mts and South Beach to 1000mts the rest you drive in Uber that there work perfect.

The apartments are amazing. Ana is so great and her customer service is unparalleled.

Terrible experience the place is nothing like the listing says and whoever is running the location is a nasty SOB! After jumping through hoops we finally reach "the chic apt". First its not an apartment which is a lie second the room doesn't include any accommodations so I contact the clown running the place and he gets loud with me on the phone talking about if I don't lower my voice he will make sure I get out the room. I said this POS is not what I paid for and he claim I would be fully refunded… first off why did you lie and second I am a customer! So anyways this clown only returned part of my money even though I didn't stay. I will contact the BBB. I advise you do not stay here!

Fabulous, spacious and well-equipped apartment. One block from the beach. Close to shops. Three toilets, two bathrooms, washing machine and dryer. A great place to stay.

I would not recommend this hotel. The valet staff and management seem far from trustworthy. The evening valet accepted a cash payment (and stated there is no other option for payment) and then apparently pocketed the cash without noting the payment. When picking up the car, the other night valet attendant demanded another payment and claimed to not know the manager's name when we asked for a manager. Beyond being difficult and uncooperative, the Spanish speaking "manager" was contacted by phone and refused to provide further information on the attendant who had apparently pocketed the money and used Spanish language curse words to describe us, thinking we could not understand them. In the way of other unethical practices, the hotel restaurant provides a tablet to make payments which shows the bill total and provides an option to add the tip. I provided a healthy tip because our server was very nice. We were then provided a written copy of the receipt which only then showed that an 18% tip had already been added to the tab for our small party of 4 patrons. The practice is unethical because the amount shown on the tablet does not reflect that they have already added a tip to the balance shown and misleads patrons into paying an additional tip without knowledge that a tip has already been added! In short, watch your wallets if you come here and be prepared to be swindled. F — rating, except for our very nice waiter at the Palms Essensia.

The Hotel is clean. Staff very friendly. Wi-Fi is top. Location is a bit far away from the hustle and bustle. Construction noise Was not distracting (03/2016). Food is very good. But to recommend only when it was booked. Otherwise, dinner 29 $ + 15% gratuity + 6% tax! Safe 2 dollars per day is a shame.

The Riu Plaza hotel is a very nice place to stay, with friendly staff and timely valet parking. My only gripe would be the VERY loud morning cleaning staff, and the ONE working guest elevator the whole time we were there.

The Hotel was the last stop of our little tour of New York, Orlando and Miami, and, unfortunately, is not what we expect. Since I had a Hotel on Ocean Drive in 2009, what I personally found very exciting, I was of the situation, but a little disappointed. Others who love the tranquility and security of a German spirit would be lifted, however, here as well, if not for the constant construction noise would be (at least to pause even longer). Yes, and therein lie the contradictions. In the vicinity is dead pants", up to Ocean Drive 30-40 min walk. There is a supermarket nearby and 2 or 3 small food stalls, but it comes on the road, you are overwhelmed by the 4-5 sites almost. The noise can be heard up to the Pool, while I can't understand people who have the sea in front of the nose, in this respect anyway. The Pool is too small and Yes, you Are here in vain, while you Are at the beach 25 dollars for 2 with umbrella (by the way, similar prices like in malls). And not to forget the pool bar, which is probably another reason for many tourists to enjoy more of the Pool than the sea. The prices here are ok (Cocktails are on average similar to that in Germany), on Ocean Drive, you pay Twice. Otherwise, the Hotel is in a very good condition and the room decor is new and clean and pretty. The staff is very friendly, we even got to our boarding cards for the return flight (Online Check-In) to print.

Nice 4 star hotel with direct beach access. The room was large and clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was good but nothing special. Most of the visitors are Germans in this hotel. Parasols for the beach are not free. You can walk to the Ocean's Drive in about 45 minutes. I can recommend this hotel.

Terrible … I do not recommend. Maintenance is terrible … my apartment got robbed and they did nothing about it!

PLEASE BE AWARE OF FRANK! My family and I arrived there on April 9, 2015 and someone had canceled our reservations. We had to sit in the HOT heat for over 3hrs to find accommodations for the 13 of us. They were inconsiderate and rude. FRANK only wanted to speak over the phone. He argued back and forth stating that we canceled our own reservations. Who would do that and fly hundreds of miles from home. We flew from MS to Fl. Who Does that? We were ripped off for $1000. Please do not speak with frank because he is a scam arrest. I give them a zero in reviews. I hated this place and the owner.
