Had the best stay here this past weekend! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and such a nice atmosphere! Prices aren’t so bad considering being in the heart of south beach. Definitely recommend!

I would leave negative stars if I could. I don't know who these people leaving good reviews are because that's what I based staying here off of. We had to wait 4 hours and 30 minutes AFTER the check in time. Once in our room a hotel employee walked in without knocking while I was in the shower and my husband fortunately caught him at the door. Later that night the elevator was under " maintenance " and we had to climb 10 flights of stairs to get to our room. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We were not the only ones having a bad time, we ran in to many other couples with similar issues.

I’m staying at this location for my husbands birthday and Valentine’s Day. My husband calls down stairs and ask about room service, it was after 11pm and the front desk lady says to look for barcode in room and scan it. So we proceed to look for this barcode. We don’t find it so my husbands calls back down to see what other options are available. But she picks up the phone and hangs up not once but 3 times. Then on the 4th and 5th she just lets it ring. This is totally unprofessional and careless. For the amount of money we paid we expect so much better customer service and this would deter us from ever choosing this place better yet telling anyone else about it. Nobody wants to go through this on vacation. And she doesn’t need to work front desk if she doesn’t want to help the guest. Pissed all the way off. I wish I can get my money back and stay somewhere else. 2/12/2021

Location. Pool. Kindness. Comfortable beds. Bathroom very good. Very good hotel. One block from lynx Road and free bikes.

I will never visit this Hyatt again. Awful dungeon rooms and poor service.

Where do I begin. If you're a Hyatt member be wary of how they describe this place. It is like a Holiday Inn with bad service. We are avid Hyatt travelers and usually love the service and the rooms. The initial requests we made on booking through the member club were totally ignored. And do not get a suite, it's like a dungeon. If you like being on a lower floor and hearing the sounds of the cross walk dinging all through the night this is your place. If you request an extra blanket or a pillow make sure you call at least 3 times 2 get it. And don't bring a car especially a truck. Their valet cannot handle a truck so we have to park across the street at $40 a night. If you like clean at your table outside, well you know, bring a towel. We had drinks at the outside patio, came down 3 hours later before bed and the drinks were still on the table. Wear socks or slippers in the room, I'm pretty sure they don't vacuum. It makes me sad to write this because we love Hyatt. It's just so disappointing when you pay a premium price and get sub par service. We will never be coming back.

Great boutique hotel. Personalized service. Great location! Rooms are bright and modern. Comfortable beds. Easy beach access and YES we had an ocean view even though we were across the street. Polite gentleman helped with the bags in the elevator. Turned out to be the GM. Didn't say a word when we thanked him.

This hotel is a great place to stay. Very clean. Breakfast is fresh, refreshing and free. The staff are welcoming and courteous. You are within 10 miles of Treasure Island which is an awesome place to visit.

Simply amazing! It's a brand new hotel at the perfect location. Hyatt Centric South Beach is a perfect balance of a price, quality, and location. A block away from the beach, and a block away from the shopping street. Looks like employees are taking great care of this place. Very clean, and well maintained building. Service is amazing, as it should be. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will return back if I ever need to stay in this area.

This hotel was everything I was expecting is close to the shops, restaurants and beach as well. Everything is new and very modern. View is fantastic! Once u walk in the hotel there’s that fresh scent u get. I love it, you won’t regret booking a room here. Staff are very very nice! and welcoming will be back when I come back to Miami. Very nice clean hotel pretty much a good view. Monique the front desk lady was very nice down to earth. I stayed in room 713. The hotel is right across from the beach. My only downfall the breakfast is not worth the money could be better lol. I would definitely go back.

They only get 2 stars for the location. Rooms are small, we booked ocean view but of course was not available. Rooms are dirty since floors do not seem to be wiped or washed. Also getting fresh towels takes forever with multiple calls to front desk. Valet service is questionable because you pay a premium and yet our car was parked outside on street for the rate it should be in garage. Also after we dropped off car and was returned to us from valet we found a chettoh on the driver door and passenger seat was moved.

Nice clean updated trendy rooms. Very centrally located a convenient too many things right on South Beach. The beds were super comfortable as were the sheets and duvet. My room was across from the elevator so it was very noisy at times, which made it difficult to sleep in.

Very nice and modern. Interesting layout as the front desk is on the 3rd floor. Seems like it was an older hotel that may have been converted? Walls are pretty thin, can hear neighbors talking.

Lovely boutique hotel feeling, great modern room and bath, cute pool. Modern height of sink and desk, not like Marriott where you have to bend down to reach the sink. Staff are really friendly and breakfast is excellent and reasonably priced. It’s my new favorite hotel. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Centric in Miami Beach. The room was stocked with all we could have needed for overnight. The registration staff was friendly at checkout but forgot to inform us at check in of the resort fees and amenities that came with it. We certainly would have enjoyed the options while we were there if we had known. A short walk to the beach and restaurants and shopping make for a perfect vehicle free destination.

Loved our stay. Our room was spacious and the hotel had perfect sound proof walls. I would definitely book there again.

We had a great stay with the family all week that we stayed there. Both the restaurant/bar and the room floor are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel is the best. Excellent location.

The hotel is in a good location but not directly on the beach. The pool is nothing to write home about and the service is patchy. The rooms are large and quiet.

I'm a Hyatt man for 20 years. Tried the new Hyatt Centric and have mixed reviews. Location good for south beach. Room clean but had to request top sheets as front desk says they don't use them on south beach! Do not I mean DO NOT get room 221 if you want to sleep. This room is right above Joes juice & coffee bar. All night boom boom boom from music played until 2am and starting 7am. Plus road noise and cross walk light beeping. Breakfast was good. Shower in room awesome and our maid service lady was helpful. Regards. Tired and sleepy.

If you are going to Miami Beach this is a good place to stay, the Hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast and service are excellent. But there is one detail… the parking which is a little overpriced… 40$ per night… but if you park in the municipal parking in front it will be cheaper.

One elevator was not working Our room had a leak in it and we had kids living there Staff was great! Much cheaper and better serviced hotels out there.

The hotel was amazing. My room was very modern and the bathroom in the room looked amazing. Some thing else I liked was that next to the TV is an HDMI input to connect devices (I connected my chromecast). The hotel also gives you access to lowes beach and provides you with chairs and towels. The only con is that the pool they have is small other than that everything is great.

I was impressed at every turn with the hotel. The bed was super comfy, the food was great, the staff was very helpful and professional. The area is a bit sketchy but if you just go to the hotel and the beach it’s a great spot.

Most staff seemed very distracted during our stay. Three consecutive nights, four members of the cleaning crew were loudly laughing and chilling outside our room. Overnight front desk staff was awesome — I was disappointed the bar was closed and he comped beers from our minibar as a consolation. There's no public ice machine so you either have to bring your bucket to the kitchen or call every time you need some. The pool was closed for repairs during half of our stay. No offer was made to reduce any of the resort fees. All in all, I wouldn't return if I had the choice.

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Rooms are a little small, but everything is modern and very clean. The bathrooms are very nice and beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the pool/pool deck is very nice (pool is heated). The hotel is located in the middle of everything and close to the beach and shops/restaurants.

Great place to stay in Miami. Located close to many shops, restaurants and bars, as well close to a beach. Some rooms have nice view of an ocean. Hotel has a nice open pool on third floor and lounge with full bar. Reception is on third floor as well. There are two parking garages right next by entrance and across the street. Rooms are very clean and bright. Windows in the rooms are floor to ceiling. Style of the whole hotel is more on modern side. Staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Small rooms but very clean and the staff is super attentive and helpful to make your stay amazing. They also have a beach front area incorporated with another hotel as well for beach privacy.

The worst service I have ever experienced at a Hyatt property (from someone who maintains Hyatt Platinum standing). The front desk clerk asked us to wait while she checked our room — for over an hour. Her excuse, "I have a lot on my mind". Our room wasn't cleaned for three days. We called and requested service — and the front desk 'forgot' until we went to the desk and stood there until they called housekeeping. For a supposedly upscale Hyatt, at upscale rates. The service was inexcusable.

For us, who don't care about the ocean view from rooms, it was satisfiable. The room with a big window was clean and bright. We loved their shower because water falls from ceilings, which was comfortable. They also have private beach and pool.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Lobby area (on the 3rd floor) is nicely decorated. Elevators and rooms are small but comfortable. The hotel is located close to the beach (about a 10 minute walk) and you can get chairs and towels from the Loews area on the beach; you just show your key and provide your name and room number.

Beautiful hotel and I will definitely be back. This hotel is by everything! The only con is the hidden fees. If you don't have the funds that they ask for upon request then you can't check in. You also have to pay the resort fee on top of the extra hidden fee. Good thing I had extra money. But I would still recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel was amazing. Beautiful NEW Modern rooms with a roof top pool. The staff was great! Beach access close and a chair towel and waiter service is free at the ocean. We were close to South Beach any many wonderful restaurants on Collins Ave. I cannot wait to come back next year. ********** Vickie.

Not a thing. Shower has no privacy the bathroom is not concealed off so if someone is in the bathroom taking a crap u smell all of that you can see right in bathroom from your bed. Not impressed at all.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Everything is deceiving on the outside as well as the inside. Unprofessional and biased. This hotel left a very bad taste in my mouth. There is a right way and a wrong way to do everything in life. Our first confrontation was with Tamara at the hotel in South Beach Miami on Collins Ave. We arrived around 12 noon and we were redirected to return at 4pm when the room would be ready. To prevent the embarrassment, Tamara failed to explain to us at 12 noon since our registration was with "Expedia" on line a third party entity as we were informed by her and her manager Karina later on. Karina informed us when we returned approximately 4pm the room rate would be $180 per night with an additional $250 due to towels, a debit bank visa and other amenities within the hotel. Furthermore, the room rate with "Expedia" was $117 a night. The room rate at 4pm was $180 a night with a $250 deposit. SURPRISE! This ordeal lasted until 7:30 pm with paperwork, faxes, calls to family, pics of a drivers license, repeated negative conversations, our luggage returned to the lobby, unprofessionalism and rudeness. The customer is always right. A major credit card and or debit bank visa is acceptable. We should have been informed upon the 12 noon arrival to the hotel the room rate would be hire than what we expected and what we had on our paperwork from "Expedia. " Instead, the 3 individuals we had a conversations with tried to accommodate us in a negative unprofessional way.

This hotel was amazing. It truly is "centric" to South beach. A couple of blocks north of Española way and one block south of Lincoln Road. Great restaurants and other hotels surround this one. Access to the beach was pleasant and just across the hotel. The staff was great and the bar tenders, especially Toby was great to my wife and I. We celebrated our anniversary there and Vanessa in the reception was the best host ever. The Hyatt was so impressive I called friends over to stay at the hotel in other rooms. Simple and yet modern and High tech. A+ service and staff.

The staff was great. Everything was nice and clean. Great value for the money considering the location. The valet was great, it does cost more at the hotel, however for the price you get it stored in a secure location and the price is per-day, so you don't have to pay each time you return that day. With the house valet you can just call and have your car ready. Minor issues: My understanding is this was just remodeled, so having a few minor defects in the room was a bit disappointing, however the maintenance staff remedied the problem right away. The ocean view was not what I was expecting, as I was thinking I could see the beach. I could see plenty of ocean and it did state that it was an ocean view. Other thoughts: Call ahead to find fees, like resort, and valet for your intended stay. They all have them! Valet is not intended on large SUV types, but do there best to accommodate. Closing: Even having a few minor issues, the staff and the cleanliness of the Hyatt hotel in south beach keep me from not staying with the 5 star.

New hotel. I tried to close the bathroom glass door and the whole glass door just shattered and fell on my arm and feet! Luckily only my hand and arms got cut. This is unacceptable! The only people who came to apologize was the cleaning stuff and the busboy… I really hope they check all the facilities and make sure nothing like this happens again!
