Great place. Great food. They definitely need an 18 and over jacuzzi on the property. The only hot tub they have is filled with little kids all day. The rooftop is the place to hang here if you are looking for peace.

Best hotel in south beach! great location and can't beat the beautiful ocean a short walk away… this summer will be my 5th year staying here and ive never had a bad experience. The beach staff is amazing and always there if you need anything… the roof bar is great for a night cap. The food on the beach is also amazing! I don't do the pools cause I love the beach but the 4 pools look amazing and are always packed. They have a gym with punching bags and great classes. I can't say enough good things about this hotel if you haven't been def check it out… I consider this hotel my 2nd home and can't wait to enjoy another 2 weeks next month.

Best Hotel in South Beach. Helpful staff especially Nikki and Vanessa. Get a Suite with Ocean view because you won't regret it. Food is awesome and drinks are strong. Highly recommended to all over the world if you're coming to Miami.

Great hotel but the Butler introduced himself in the middle of our stay. He was very good do.

1Hotel South Beach is always a pleasure to stay at. It's the only place I'll stay in South Beach and for good reason. The service is impeccable, amenities plentiful and the rooms are beautiful with incredible City or Beach views. I'd recommend staying in one of their homes, it's an amazing experience. I've been here five or six times now and the standard for guest experience is always incredibly high.

Poor and slow service at pool cafe, served wrong entree, had to refill my own water glass with the pool side cooler 3 times and was still forced to pay automatic 20% gratitude. *Beautiful hotel and an excellent massage.

The hotel is amazing. The detail in the building are great, there are four pools, and the beach is a decent size. All the employees are very helpful and polite. The food at the restaurants in the hotel are good and all different from one another. The room was gorgeous. The gym is the best hotel gym I’ve ever been in. Nice.

Nice aspects such as pool and large one bedroom suites with washer and dryers, but this hotel is severely lacking in customer service and housekeeping. Rooms are not cleaned on a schedule, and sometimes not at all. It seems almost impossible at times to get a drink or order food poolside, then when you give up and walk to the bar, the bartender tells you if you are sitting poolside you have to order from wait staff. If you call the front desk to make a complaint (like it’s 3pm and your room still hasn’t been cleaned for the 2nd time during your stay) they are unapologetic and condescending. We expressed to them that we have a small child and need our room cleaned before 2pm so he can nap. We will never stay at this hotel again and we won’t recommend it to anyone else. I’m shocked that they haven’t received more negative reviews as it seemed everyone that I came in contact with during the 9 days we stayed had the same complaints or worse.

We have been here for over 5 days and have hardly gone out to eat during the day. The staff, service including hospitality is beyond exceptional. Everything was tested when my husband fainted twice within 10 min and because of the staff present during the episode he received the medical attention he needed at the right time. We would not have been able manage the situation if it wasn’t for the well trained amd kind staff who took every step that was necessary to make sure that we get to ER as fast as possible. I remember our hostess, Gabby, at the Water restaurant and she should know everyone’s name who was present from holding my husband when he almost fell to bring bringing water, honey and fruit. Thanks to the entire staff. We will definitely come back to this hotel whenever we visit South Beach Miami. It’s a green hotel with healthy food options and works well with our lifestyle.

It’s the best hotel I’ve visited. The decor is modern and beautiful. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. Love the center pool Breakfast was so good especially the coffee I had the coffee every day I stayed! I will definitely be back if I come to Miami again! Well done guys!

Just too good except the dining. Habitat restaurant should have better dinner options. We had both breakfast and dinner and was happy with the breakfast but not much with the dinner. They should have few more restaurants inside the hotel. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our 3 days stay. And yes, their beach is not so clean. Amazing pool area.

I do not recommend that they are the last coca cola in the desert they do not have a customer service the first employee that received me nor a dog fight does anything they qualify to people as they look like not as a person I personally do not recommend it

Love the decor and vibe. The rooftop and main pool are great. The beach is nice and private. Service was for the most part wonderful. The gym is fantastic too! Take advantage of the Tesla’s on site to drop you off places. Will definitely return.

Wonderful get away in south beach Miami! Best rooftop pool! This hotel has many indoor and outdoor amenities that the entire family can enjoy. The room itself is spectacular for the price around $1, 000 a night. Deducted one star because the service could have been better for the price we paid for. However, we will definitely stay at the 1 hotel again for next visit in South Beach, Miami.

We chose this hotel as a little stop off point from our wedding in Barbados, to our honeymoon on a cruise.
From the moment we arrived, we were upgraded to a beautiful ocean view suite and were given a bottle of champagne with a lovely little card.
The staff are all very friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean.
We didn’t use the pools however they look fantastic. The beach is stunning and only a very short walk from the hotel grounds.
The little shop is lovely in reception and we really enjoyed getting take out drinks and breakfast and sitting on the beach looking out to sea.
Can’t wait to come back and try out those Tesla courtesy cars!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The customer service is impeccable, each and every employee had a smile on their face and enjoyed their job — they literally went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The decor and ambience of the hotel is exceptional. Very clean, very upscale. We will definitely return next time we are in South Beach!

Hotel exudes high end beach resort from the moment you pull up to valet and get shown the reception … from there on it all goes down hill.
Seems they carry a heavy payroll with employees standing everywhere but no one is trained on hospitality. I never felt pampered, just felt the hotel offered a nice beach, pools and gym.
Our room was 45 minutes late for check in and bags another hour to arrive in room. Nobody cared or offered anything to make up for the waste of time. I had to go to them and complain.
By the pool the best lounge chairs are “reserved for the owner”! What? I’m a paying customer (average 1k per night) and the owner needs to park himself by the pool?!?
Carpet was dirty and halllways stink of humidity. I predict in a few years it will start to look run down.
Awful hotel not hospitality driven. Waste of money. At these prices you can stay at a St. Regis or Mandarin Oriental and receive royal treatment.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The service was impeccable. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. It is definitely worth your money to stay here at least once. The smell in the hotel itself will keep you there. Go see Joey at the rooftop bar for drinks!

There is very beautiful views opens up from balcony, very nice and clean beach. You can enjoy your day at the pool. At the evening you can enjoy at roof top. I was in Miami 1 times 3 years ago and got to know the hotel through an acquaintance. There is a roofttoop pool where you can only swim as a guest and in the evening you can also have a drink to the Rooftop Bar without being a hotel guest. Great view. The hotel and the rooms have been made stylish, yet not exaggerated And classic. You have to pay extra for and breakfast like you would in almost any luxury hotel in Miami Beach.

I did not stay at this hotel, I had the pleasure of spending an evening at the roof bar that this hosts on the top floor of the building.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone for special occasions or for a dinner to close a business deal. A hotel located in the best area of South Beach. High level and very tasteful decoration.

I normally don't do a lot of reviews, but this place was phenomenal. They messed up my booking a little bit, and so they gave me a huge ocean-view suite to make up for it. I wasn't even mad in the first place but they really went out of their way to make me happy. All of the staff were incredible and are some of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to meet during my many trips to South Beach over the years. Plus, the hotel is just beautiful. I wish I could have spent a few weeks there. I would highly recommend this place.

OMG! Definitely something to experience. We vacationed in Miami and this was our hotel of choice. From the valet, to the concierge, to management — this hotel offered a superior hotel experience. The gym, rooftop pool and dining, coffee shop and plant boutique are only a few highlights of 1 Hotel. We enjoyed the location — situated in a great spot for shopping, dining and exploring. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Valet parking staff (with a troubled attitude) and reception not prepared to receive outside delivery. Neither understand what or know how to let a delivery from its own guests get into the hotel. They are so into the policies of the hotel that they even lecture you about all the safety and securty procedures of the hotel. There is no need for that. A 5 star hotel treat everyone nicely. And no demand is a problem is a way to find a good solution to make everyone's life easier and make the place's name grow with a welcoming culture. Sorry far from five stars. A fancy roof top and a well designed hotel means nothing when its staff are not humanized to the point of have empathy for other.

This hotel is perfect blend of nature meets modern. The smell when u walk in is crisp and clean, the cool natural color palette of the Interior design calms you, and the staff are responsive. I loveeeeee the rooftop pool deck. Also they are the only hotel with a full vegan restaurant on property. I definitely will continue to attend.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have visited. Love the eco friendly theme, with no sacrifice on luxury. Very modern and fresh, rooms are very comfortable with enough space to spread for a few days while we visited. The few small complimentary items in the rooms were a refreshing touch on the American culture where nothing is free. The hotel is not cheap, and I would agree there is definitely a pretentious vibe with a lot of the guests but don't let that deter you. If you end up at the back of the hotel, be on a high level as road noise can be bad, lots of horn honking.

Favorite hotel in Miami. The accommodations are top of the line, the rooms are brand new & fresh. The decor throughout the hotel and especially the lobby complement the Miami aesthetic perfectly. Very nice hotel, amazing in every aspect, location, service, decor, amenities,. Job well done and at a very high standard. For sure we will come back again and again, we all had wonderful time. I personally didn't like the check in policy: in at 400 pm and out at 1100 am that's 19 hrs only.

It was the worst experience. The room was expensive. They did not provide breakfast even though it was mentioned free breakfast. The person we booked with confused us between beach front and beach facing. We ended up paying a lot and getting a bad view. Also, the person at the front desk is rude and does not have the decency towards his customers!

Don't believe your first impression, coz you will think it's a great hotel. It's not great, but it was a good hotel to a point. The hotel is fairly new. The stuff are more than happy to help, but I can see they lack the experience. The elevator system is one of my issues, you press your floor number and the system tells you which elevator to take. What the system don't count for is the number of people entering on one press. Also I requested a late checkout, and they told me that they are fully booked and they can not accommodate my request. And it was funny coz at the same time I can book an extra night and it was avilable. So the hotel was liing to me to the fact that I can pay a full rate for one extra night rather to just give me an extra 2 or 3 hours. Which they give me at the end. But it shouldn't e this we. I think they need more experience people and to look at what really people needs and demands.

The best hotel ever. We had a family holiday and everything was amazing at the hotel in which we spent around 12 days. All the employees at the reception and concierge without exceptions were very very friendly, always smiling and always willing to give assistance. My gratitude goes to King and his colleagues as well as Moe and his colleagues who gave a great impression of hospitality and good aspect of the hotel. It is a perfect place for family vacation… noting that we came all the way from the Middle East.

This hotel is Amazing from the main pool on the third floor to the lobby decorated in white linen. Im from new york so really was excited to get out and experience the famous strip on south beach ocean drive its only a 5 minute cab ride away. If you are not into getting out of the hotel and stay in and relax the roof top pool has views to die for at night is just beautiful. I will visit again and definitely stay in this hotel I give it 5 stars all around.

In a word — unreal. This place was unbelievable. If heaven is on earth, it's here. The food, the drinks and the service were amazing! The decor is unparalled, I have never stayed anywhere as beautiful as this place. We went for our 16th wedding anniversary, it was every bit as special. Will hopefully get to go back for my 17th! It didn't hurt have Kevin Hart swimming in the pool too since he's my favorite comedian! The front desk wrote us a beautiful card with a dark chocolate candy bar wishing us a happy anniversary. The paper it was written on can be planted and will grow flowers. Thank you for making our weekend so special.

We didn't even stay at this hotel but was told to go check out the Rooftop Bar and Pool. The service at the front door was awesome and the rooftop bar service was amazing as well. And the view is awesome too. My wife and I both agreed that we should've stayed there for our trip. But we definitely will stay here next time.

This hotel is gorgeous! Staff goes over and beyond to accommodate you. It was just renovated so everything is new, and the smell, OMG! I don't know whether its the wood or what but u smell it as soon as u pull up. Concierge set up dinner for us at STK and it was delicious, the corn pudding is a must! definitely going back.

Anna makes the best mojoitos I ever had! The food and service is amazing! Jay the manager is doing a great job running things. Meeting him was the cherry on top of my experience. He was very informative and made sure I was taken care of.

Now it is closed for remodeling, will open in a year; apparently it's going to be very cute.

Very rude staff, not helpful at all. I'm a young customer but paid the same price as everyone else and treated me like dirt. Construction all over the entire hotel, woke up to 6:30am jack hammers and housekeeping knocking on my door before 7:30am.

This hotel is a joke! We paid a premium (approximately 500.00) to stay in what we thought seemed like a five star hotel according to the web site. They messed our three night reservation up and made it for two nights only, then they wanted to charge us 1000.00 dollars for the third night. This happened at 9:00 P. M. We were told by the lady at the front desk that if we checked in the manager would be able to fix the reservation in the AM. We checked in. The sleeper sofa was broken, so we had to put the mattress on the floor. At this point, (after two hours of checking in) we just wanted to get to sleep. The next morning my family was alarmed from their sleep by jack hammers and construction at 8 AM. The sink would not drain. You couldn't see out of the windows because of construction dirt. The chair was broken. The shower stuck on hot and burned my daughter. We were supposed to have a ocean view with a balcony. We did not. The manager Victor was going to call us and talk about the situation. After one and one half hours Victor's assistant (George) called, we told him the situation. He said he would call back. He did not call back. We felt like they could care less. We talked to the bellman about the situation. His reply was every one was complaining and the Hotel mangement did not care. They were just trying to create revenue during this remodeling project. And that they were getting ready to shut down the Hotel for constuction. I have never written any review good or bad.

My last stay was Memorial Weekend 2012. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay it was 3 of us in total and we weren't really for certain about booking a double with two queen size beds. The room was very spacious, the bed was super comfy, and we loved the mini bar located in the room. We all went to party the only down fall about the hotel is that it wasn't really close to the parties. Not to mention a celeb stayed at the hotel and we enjoyed the rooftop parties. I highly recommend this hotel if you like to stay fabulous :).

The place to be! Had two visits once solo and then with my lady. Had a great time on both occasions. Great atmosphere, good food! I recommend to any one, hang on the roof top club, the bomb! Bar, pool, music and not to mention the 30 foot TV and the view. To die for.
