Love that the hotel is dog friendly! ❤️ Levi gives a paws up! My diabetic Toy Aussie needed to come along and boy did he have fun! Tyler in the valet dept saved him as he ran out the room door when they opened the door to clean. I said thanks to Tyler and took a pic with him and Levi when we left! You need to give him a raise, such a sweet and wonderful employee you have! Levi checked out the beach, tiki bar, Lily store, pool and enjoyed everything about the Ritz and so did my friend and I!

Great place to stay, the manager of the SALT Resturant Phil is a great guy, and the staff within the Resturant are fantastic. It’s hard to get a reservation but it’s worth the effort, I highly recommend it.

My wife and I wanted sushi and a drink. We both had the smoked old fashioned and it was to die for! Absolutely the best old fashioned we’ve ever had! The sushi was delicious but kept falling apart. Probably not wrapped tight enough. We will be back for sure.

Rooms were well kept and spacious, lovely bath area, loved the pool side Coquina Bar. They have wonderful food there that is pretty reasonable. Gorgeous views. The concierge was very helpful! Definitely give the lemon berry crush drink a try at Coquina!

We recently got married on the Ocean a front lawn after spending many a night at the great hotel lobby bar. We live just down the street and love this venue and it’s superior service. Our event planner and all hotel staff are excellent! 10/10 recommend. The sushi at the lobby bar is amazing. We’ve always had a blast here!

Dinner at Coast. Excellent service. Spinach and Kale salad was a perfect match with the Duck Confit. Exceptional meal in a casual atmosphere. Put it on the list.

The hotel experience has been absolutely wonderful. The staff have been very courteous and helpful. The property is immaculate and clean and extra precautions have been taken to ensure guest safety during this pandemic. Will definitely be bringing children here next year.

My husband and I treated ourselves to the spa today and wow wow wow! What a fabulous experience! Everyone is so friendly and so accommodating! The spa itself is beautiful and very relaxing. We have been fortunate enough to stay at The Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island a number of times. It is a beautiful resort with many engaging activities. There are Plenty of food choices and love the feeling I get by just being there. I always leave relaxed and wishing it wasn't our last day.

Wonderful dinner, prepared expertly! The Tile Fish was seasoned perfectly, a little smoky, and savory at the same time. Service was awesome, staff was exceptional, and very gracious. Highly recommend a stop on your visit to Amelia Island!

Excellent service and food in Coast on a very busy Christmas Day. The amenities in the room were upscale. Even the public restrooms were luxurious.

The spacious suite, best seafood in the Coast restaurant and excellent customer service starting at the front desk! David is very welcoming with champagne right off and very accommodating.

We were there for drinks and small plates only. Fun girls weekend sitting out on the patio talking for 3 hours. Great service!

Love it! Beautiful place, beautiful island All rooms have some sort of a view of the beach and we enjoyed breakfast in our balcony enjoying our view. Food in all restaurants is amazing, especially Salt. We w we're re greeted with champagne and ice cream. Staff is very attentive to all needs. We had are having overall magical ecperience.

5 stars for location and surroundings. 2 stars for them messing up our reservation and not having our room, even though it was booked and paid for, so it was a long wait to be placed. In a room instead of our original Suite booking. Spa treatments are phenomenal. Very expensive but worth a special treat. The beach is always clean. If you are lucky you will get to say hi to Freckles, if he comes up from the dunes.

Nice place. Can't beat it on the luxury front but of course it's extremely pricey. A drink is $14! A couple of meals were not so great and others were good. Same with housekeeping. Loved one of our gals but another did a terrible job. Everybody very nice.

Front desk upgraded our room which was a pleasant surprise, service was good, pool was nice though a bit small and dated for quality of the resort, and food was average. Not a big fan of their dinner burger! Overall, it's a decent resort.

A lovely place to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary! The golf course is beautifully maintained, the dinner at Salt at the Chef’s table was spectacular, and all of the staff was exceptionally kind. Thank you for a fabulous vacation!

This property has been absolutely amazing! The entire staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay 100% memorable. The location and beach is fantastic. So many great restaurants in town or at the hotel. Great place for kids, our 5 & 6 year old boys loved the pirate toast every night. The resort offers so many wonderful kid activities. The pirate treasure hunt was one of their favorites. We spent most of our days hanging on the beach. We look forward to returning!

Excellent service, super friendly staff (can't say enough about how awesome the service is), decent view of the ocean even from our room which was adjacent to the waterfront. The room is nice, bathroom large, generally clean with only a little "wear" considering the age of the hotel. Balcony and patio furniture basic but suits the space. The pools, splash pad, and hit tub all look nice. We spent most time on the beach though. The beach chair/umbrella options are nice, we did prefer sitting further away from folks though so we didn't take advantage of the service. We've not actually eaten at the hotel at the time is writing this review so I can't speak for the food but I don't expect to be disappointed. I'm a bit of a penny pitcher so some of the cost are a little surprising but this is a Ritz Carlton. I'll expect they are on par with this level of hotel/service. Would def recommend for someone with kids as there is a clear focus on children's and young folks entertainment (special game and movie room for them… Adults may also like air hockey… As we did! ) I mean to say, it's not super stuffy but does have a great family focused approach to service and amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. The staff was very helpful and friendly, our room was beautiful and very spacious with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The Ritz staff made it extra special for our 20th anniversary with personal extra special touches like chocolate covered strawberries, chocolates and rose petals. The restaurant Salt was a wonderful dining experience and the food was amazing. There is a lot to do at the hotel as well and is very family friendly. We will definitely go back and bring our family. We highly recommend the hotel. Thank you for making our stay so fabulous.

Complementary valet parking and typically awesome in every way. Just like every Ritz-Carlton we've ever been to. This RC really excelled at catering to young people. They had a children's concierge, a fully-stocked game room, theater, tons of scheduled activities. I could see a couple with kids would be able to have a romantic time.

My wife and I have been having a wonderful time here. The service has been phenomenal. Even though the services come at a premium price, you really do get great quality out of it. I think what made the trip worth it to me was how quiet it was, the quality of the food, and the service. If you stay here I would highly recommend splurging and eating at Salt at least once. This restaurant offers fine dining that is loosely themed around the fine salts you can season your food with. The wait staff is extremely friendly and willing to take their time to explain everything.

Resort is amazing. Great beach. Great amenities. It is valet only, like usual, but if you aren't driving a $100k vehicle, valet wont give 2 looks at you. You can pull in, they walk towards you, then a Mercedes pulls up behind you and they quickly switch to help them.

We stayed at this resort last week and it was incredible. This hotel has the perfect mix of casual elegance. It does not feel stuffy but still has a high level of attention to detail. Last week was lovely because the resort was not very full. The pool/food/beach were wonderful! When we checked out we could see how it can get very crowded by the pool when there are a lot of guests. Our room was incredible and they were very happy to upgrade us. We will definitely be returning. Wonderful experience!

My husband and I stay here every December for his medical conference and absolutely love this hotel and the surrounding community. The in-house restaurants are very good and offer a variety of menu options. The sushi bar is lots of fun, offering live music and open seating and dance areas. The downtown area is a wonderful treat just around the holiday season. Close to excellent restaurants and shopping.

One would think that the Ritz, because of its name, carries a reputation of impeccable customer service and luxury however this establishment was underwhelming. For the price there was very little value from my stay. Nothing is inclusive, from the mandatory valet parking to a fee associated with clearing out the mini-fridge. What if I were a patron that struggled with alcohol, would you force me then to pay to remove all temptations? Turn down service was only done 1/3 nights and even then it was a mediocre display — bed appeared to have been laid in and slippers were strewn about. Quality of the “signature cocktail” was amateur — an old fashioned should never be that sweet. Staff maintains a stingy attitude towards toiletries and sunscreen. You’re a Floridian hotel and the Ritz, you should care for the skin of your customers. And I can get a dozen shampoo bottles at a Red Roof Inn for a two night stay but here only had one bottle for three nights for two people. Questions regarding the bill were met with little explanation or resolve from the staff. Apparently what you pay for is the name and the opportunity to say, “oh we stayed at the Ritz, it was fabulous. ” Well I can assure you, we stayed at the Ritz and it was s**t.

Our family just finished our five night stay here and we had the most incredible experience. This is the sort of resort where you can relax and interact with staff and guests but most of all enjoy time with one another. The time we spent as a family made memories that will last a life time. From simple football on the beach to playing games in the pool, it was all pure family fun. The hotel activities added to our enjoyment. The nightly s’mores, bonfire and pirate toast made my kids day. We tried everything and had blast every day. The pool was heated and perfect for the chillier weather and we spent hours in the water and on the beach. Although the resort was at full capacity we never felt crowded and were able to try so many activities. We were fortunate to experience the kindest and most caring staff. Every staff member we met from the pirate to the pool staff was attentive and client focused. We were so lucky to get to know many of the waiters and chefs at Coast and my children and I loved every moment. We want to personal thank Craig and Daniel at Coast for everything they did to make us feel special and for my daughters birthday celebration. You two are incredibly caring and amazing people. We typically like to try new resorts every year but we all can’t wait to come back here! Thank you for a great vacation and incredible memories.

I have been to many higher end hotels and the Ritz is in a class all on its own. Coupled with the fact that it is set in the tropical paradise of Amelia Island, it is a whole different world when you walk in. Customer service cannot be matched. Whether you go for lunch, dinner, spa treatment, or just a visit to look around, you are treated like royalty. Every time I go, even when only for a few hours, I leave feeling like I have been on a true vacation. The Ritz Carlton is truly a slice of heaven.

Being a lifetime Platinum, we often have a years points to spend a week at a Ritz. Amelia island makes good on all of the promises of the brand. Rooms are beautiful. Grounds are fantastic. Wish I had had time for a round of golf but it was a work conference. The conference facilities are top notch and the on-site eateries are likewise great. A definite recommend.

The place is like a movie! Large parking, there is a golf club. Crazy Ocean view. Breakfast is always fresh, has its own features for every taste. Perfectly arranged room for games. There is an indoor pool and a spa. If you want to spend an unforgettable time for yourself and the whole family, this place is just created for this!

Amazing resort and location. Everything is top tier but without being too over the top. Well worth the high price tag for the experience. I've been here multiple times now and the staff always finds new ways to surprise me with how far they'll go to make your visit memorable.

Great weekend get-away when you want top notch room accommodations, amenities such as spa, pool, beach front, bike trail and more. I recommend the Salt Grill for lunch. Staff is very friendly, rooms are like a breath of fresh air and clean.

The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Resort was simply awesome. Our experience was truly an example of “Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen. ” The staff was engaging, thoughtful, and anticipated our every need. The Beach Club concierge, Trish, was particularly fantastic. Kaitlin, the Club host was also incredible. The hotel had indoor activities lined up for the kids on few inclement weather days. Spectacular indoor pool with atrium roof, kids club, adult spa, 5 Star restaurant, Star, game room, etc. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with connecting room making our stay feel like home — our bedroom, daughter’s bedroom and a full living room. One last point — if we remarked about anything that was less than extraordinary, the staff immediately removed it from our bill. Can’t wait to return.

Absolutely amazing! I visit this venue every year for a large event hosted in the winter. Even in the coldest month of the year this venue is amazing and you will see couples waking hand in hand on the beach or checking out the always impressive ginger bread ship created by the house chefs. The food is amazing at all locations and is always top notch. The really cool boutique Salt where you can shop anything salt is fun and fantastic. Infused salts with everything from hickory smoke to lemon and curry. Beautiful location, great rooms, amazing staff. Dream location for any beach event and I must imagine the weddings here have to be insanely beautiful.

If you are looking for a quick getaway, Ritz — Carlton/Amelia Island is the perfect place… I had a great time and the staff were very friendly. The amenities were amazing … especially the Spa. The Coast restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles. The room was great… spacious balcony with awesome ocean views. The club level access was great and definitely a must have when staying here. Thank you Ritz — Carlton/Amelia Island for a great experience.

The rooms were clean and spacious as one would expect from the Ritz Carlton. The fireworks for New Year's were really well done and the fire pits accompanying first floor rooms are a great feature. However, elevator renovations contributed to long wait times and the restaurants were much lower quality than I expected. Ocean had mediocre food that wasn't very fresh and was very expensive (nice breakfast buffet though). We received a raw oyster with a live sand crab in it and they neither replaced it nor discounted the item. The entire trip would have been significantly improved had Ocean been a better establishment. The massage treatments at the spa are a nice addition, and I would highly recommend venturing to better seafood restaurants downtown.

Incredible location and staff. Kid-friendly. Staff goes out of their way to meet every need. Head of security there took great care of my daughter who was stung by a jellyfish. Even brought gifts after the fact to the room. Thank you for a great experience…

Went for a spa treatment today. What an experience! Not only is the facility gorgeous, but they really think of every single detail. The staff makes sure you are completely comfortable and well guided through your stay. My lady valet Meagan was so friendly and helpful. She helped me get ready for my service, showed me around and explained the amenities, she also helped me with some purchases and questions I had. My masseuse Patricia was exceptional! She really took what issues I wanted her to focus on to heart and even made helpful suggestions throughout the massage. After she was finished she gave me this super cute card, that she had personalized and circled the products she used during my service in case I wanted to purchase them on the way out. Beautiful property, amazing staff, overall just an incredible experience from the moment you pull up to the hotel.

We have too high hopes of Ritz Carlton. The AC was broken. The waitress at the pub was rude and the food was bland. The Five star hotel was not very different from a mariott of trees or two stars. The professional conference I attended was excellent however.

Staying overnight for company Xmas party. The lobby and services was top notch. Got to our room and it was a view of the roof. If you walk out on balcony you can look left to see the ocean. The king size bed was about the size of queen size bed. (62×80)

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff is nice yet very professional, the room is clean and comfortable. The amenities are upgraded, the whole atmosphere at the hotel is great. The room had a great view of sunrises and it was just perfect for my wife and I. The staff pays attention to details and knew how to make us feel special.

Great experience. Stayed for two nights. No champagne on check in, nor chocolates on the first turn down night, bit otherwise the experience was great. Give Derek a promotion. He's awesome. My wife, friends and I appreciated his hospitality and professionalism.

The service, location, dining, and amenities at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island are second to none. Living in Jacksonville, it's my favorite local weekend getaway. Don't hesitate to book if you're looking for a relaxing stay in the area.

Beautiful resort. Was only there for a brief 24 hour stay but staff was helpful and had an awesome first floor outdoor fireplace room which was neat. Would definitely go back for pleasure if I had the time.

I have always liked this place. After staying in 2004, I felt the rooms were showing their age and needed to be redone. Having recently stayed during one of the major U S auto suctions, I see that task has largely been accomplished. There was also a major remodel and large expansion of the spa which I highly recommend. The restaurants are very good. The beach is always wonderful. Beach service is very good. I recommend this place.

Visited with my family for a week. Very high class hotel. Extremely friendly staff in every area. Good restaurants, beautiful pool, and really comfortable beds. Not a single negative moment it entire visit. Would recommend highly.

The hotel staff gave us our first impression of the resort and they were amazing. The lobby and rooms are also very nice but the properties amenities are the best part of the stay. It rained most of our stay but the indoor pool was perfect as well as having a game room and theater for the kids. There are several restaurants as well as a Spa which all proved to be wonderful. The prices are a bit high for food and this seems to be consistent whether at the outside grill or inside Coastal restaurant. Other than the on property prices it was amazing.

This is a true 5 star resort with amazing amenities. The staff are courteous and friendly without being overbearing. They go out of their way to help for everything with their standard 'my pleasure' to any request. Kid's programs are amazing and the rooms are beautiful with expansive views. The food in the restaurants is always good and their breakfast buffet is to die for — try the local honey you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the Ritz in Amelia Island for a conference and it was great. I had the best massage ever in the spa and the most fantastic view from my room. But the cherry on top is I realized that I left my designer sunglasses at the hotel and when I called lost prevention, John was the best. He was empathic and thorough. He was able to find my glasses and I'm so thankful. This is type of service I received throughout my stay.

Once you arrive at the Ritz Carlton you are greeted by friendly valets who help you find where you are going if you are not familiar with the establishment. We walked into the building and everything is beautiful. There is a hotel lobby bar and grill right when you enter that has a wonderful atmosphere. We proceeded to walk through the hallways to get to our intended destination, Salt, and we were greeted by the host. He took our pictures (they came out wonderful) and he let us know there were some trails we could walk while we waited for our table to be ready (we arrived early). We walked through their courtyard, looked out upon the ocean, visited the spa and saw the many pools they had. The view is spectacular from their many windows. The restaurant was phenomenal. Salt is truly an experience to be had because from the door to the the very last bite and them walking you out, everything is specifically catered to make you feel like the only person in the building. The food was delicious. You could taste the way they prepare it with so much care. It truly is a fine dining experience. The Ritz Carlton is a fine establishment that caters to you in so many ways, offering different types of services especially for feeling relaxed and on vacation and without any worries.

It's hard not to like a ritz-carlton! This is only the second time I've stayed in one, but it again was a very nice getaway. Standard parking situation where everything must be valet parked. It's $20 per day, so not terrible, but not great. Make sure to call down well in advance of needing your car as that was the only thing that was consistently less than perfect during the stay. I'm sure it had a lot to do with the fact that I was leaving when other people also wanted their cars, but on more than one occasion I waited for a good 20 minutes. The rooms here were lovely. The beds are what you would expect from behind hotel, very comfortable and with a delightful number of pillows! All rooms have balconies and plenty of table space for getting things done both inside and outside. It would be nice if there were outlets outside, but again this is obviously not a deal breaker. The bathrooms are spectacular with tons of room to spread out in the showers are magnificent! The shower heads deliver what I'm sure is not a low Flo approved amount of water, but they were totally boss for a good shower once or twice per day. The workout facilities were very nice, with plenty of free weights, Nautilus machines and elliptical machines as well as treadmills. The restaurants were all solid, including the signature spot — Salt. The options included Salt, a bistro type spot, a bar inside and bar outside. All were good, expensive, but good.

Attended the Annual Concours D'elegance. Very nice event and great location. From just the looks of the main floor alone this seems like an excellent place to stay!

I CANNOT describe the feeling i'm having right now at the ritz carlton in Amelia island OMG it's an amazing resort excellent service every single place you go wether it's a restaurant spa the pool valet parking the beach the gym the stores everything was amazing! Would love to do it again even twice a year :) :) : Great job guys! You must go!

We stayed here for the night on a whim using points while visiting visiting he nearby nature parks. While feeling like commoners is a group of rich families and golf enthusiasts, the staff did their best to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers in their new restaurant called "Coast". We had such a good experience that we went back a few hours later for a wonderful dinner. For a Ritz Carlton the points required were decent and we had such a good time I'm sure we'll return!

I have traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, over the past 30 years for pleasure and business, and have been fortunate to have been able to stay at some of the greatest hotels in the world. We just spent three days over Christmas at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, and I can honestly say that this is one of those great hotels. Superb location, terrific staff, and great food. Make a point to visit and you won't be disappointed.
