Luxury on a budget! Relaxing, clean and friendly! My wife and I adore this hotel and will be back again! We had planned to get going and exploring early, but found it so relaxing, we just hung out at their beautiful waterfront!

Clean, amazing staff. And the lady who checked us in was awesome. We will definitely be back here.

Cutest stop over on our way further south. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Grounds were beautiful for sunset.

We love it here! It's so laid back and relaxing, this our 2nd time here, perfect place to spend our honeymoon! Only 20 rooms so it's not over run with tourists! We will be back!

Great location with its own private beach. We stayed in the Queen Room. It was very clean and fresh. The beds were absolutely horrible though. No rest for us.

A Hidden Gem! Beautiful Views. Charming atmosphere that takes you back in time.

I sadly didn’t get to stay here because of snowpocalypse 2021, the staff were so sweet about everything and even called Expedia on my behalf and got me a refund. I had called them days before about local services, shuttles etc and they were so friendly and gave me great intel… I hope I get to stay here someday soon!

We loved this place. On line images is a real representation of the site. Very clean, awesome front service staff and an all around lovely place to stay. Room one (which we had) was the first room closest to the highway. Some noise from that but not a big deal. I mention that only just in case you are sensitive to noise. Hues of blue in room and the lighting outside really set the mood. We took advantage of the water toys, the dock and lounge chairs. We’ll be back to explore more of Key Largo and definitely stay here again. Again, front desk staff … five stars.

Beautiful beach views and amenities!

It was a perfect hotel in the sense of quite, romantic, with a private beach. They have a great amenity which is that you get to use the paddle boards and kayaks for free! We only stayed one night and wished we booked out a few days. Definitely recommend! Ps there are not many things in walking distance and no food option on property at this time.

My husband and 2 kids decided last minute to leave the rain behind and head towards the keys for the night. We found this hotel on orbits and we decided to book it. We got to the Hotel and was welcomed to the Drift Hotel. Everyone was so nice. The room was spotless and beautiful. We were there for less than an hour and we decided to ask if the next night was also available. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Beautiful room, gorgeous view, close to everything. We just got home from 2 days and we already can’t wait to book it again.

We stayed 3 night 4 days. Was a great place to stay my teenagers enjoyed the use of the Kayaks, paddle-boards, and snorkel gear. My wife and I enjoyed the sunsets and the little sitting arras and fire pits. We will be back.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this quiet and quaint hotel in Key Largo. The beach area is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the dock has amazing views. If you want to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time with the island feel, this is the place for you. Thank you Drift Hotel!

Very good location, has it’s on private beach with a food truck right on the property, very romantic place. Can’t wait to spend my next vacation there!

Highly recommend this wonderful hotel! It was more than we expected… my husband and I were pleasantly surprised! I am so glad we had an opportunity to stay here. We stayed for the 1st day of a 10 day trip through the Keys and Key West. The rest of our trip was camping based. We ended up loving Drift so much that we came back and stayed here for the last 2 days of our trip! Great location in Key Largo, excellent service and very clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet and relaxing. The location has a small dock at the rear of the property as well as kayaks and paddleboards that you can use. People sporadically were fishing off the dock throughout the day. Can't explain enough how nice this hotel was. We fully intend on staying here again for any upcoming trips to the area.

Great hidden gem in South key largo. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of most hotels but you come to the keys to relax and that's exactly what this hotel is about! There's a dock with picnics areas and charcoal grills. A little boat ramp and stairs that lead down into the water. Free bikes, kayak and paddleboards. One of my favorite spots to watch the sunset. Only thing is, bring an extra blanket and your own pillow! I will def be back, but I will be bringing my own pillow.

Right on the water! Beautiful scenery, they had paddle boards, kayaks and bikes that you could use for free. The room we're clean, and up to date the only reason I didn't leave 5 stars was because the walls are paper thin. You can literally hear every single thing, and I mean even the next door patron clearing their throat. However they accommodated us very well and moved us to a room with no one around. Great recovery!

Although this is a motel converted into a hotel, its a great place to stay for the price. Its actually a hidden gem. The rooms are updated and fresh and gives a homely feel. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms which had a well equipped kitchen with microwave, a fridge and a small electric stove. The beach area and the picnic area was big enough for a good relaxing time and also to watch the sunset. The only complain I have is that hotel staff could keep the room floors a bit more cleaner. Overall a good hotel.

This place is amazing. Take a walk right down to the water no matter what room you're in. There is a beach and places to snorkel, two grills for cooking and all the equipment is free for guests to use. The fishing is amazing, I caught something at least every other time I casted, little snappers and whatnot, but still fun to catch. Had an amazing time here and can't wait to come back!

This is a MOTEL not a hotel. They should represent it for what it is, and manage guests expectations. You pull up your car in front of your room on a gravel/broken asphalt driveway. There is a dock in the bay out back, but it's kind of rickity. Also some wooden picnic tables. But it's bare bones. Rooms were recently renovated and clean, but besides that, we had a bunch of issues. Shower didn't have hot water so had to take a cold shower; we didn't receive towels one day because of an issue with the laundry machine — they told us they would bring them later but never did; no closet in the room, just hangers hanging from a pipe; really odd, almost eerie deep blue lights across the whole property at night that made it hard to see; paper curtains over the window on the door (those stick-on ones you see in new houses) that didn't block any of the blue light at night, so the whole room glowed blue through the window and made it hard to sleep — management said they would look into a solution for this but then never came back or mentioned it again. Overall was overpriced for what you got. Would have preferred to have stayed elsewhere.

My husband and I booked a couple of days at Bay Harbor for a quick spring vacation. We were incredibly impressed with our stay. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept and include a little beach area. The room was clean and comfortable. The kayaks and paddleboards are free for guests to use. Fresh scones and coffee are provided each morning, and they are hands down the best scones I have ever eaten. Next time, I will book one of the rooms down by the water so I can enjoy that view all the time! You really can't beat it for the price. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed here at the beginning of our delayed honeymoon/ 5 year anniversary get away. The room was perfect — it had more than we thought including REAL plates, coffee cups and silverware. There was also a fridge and microwave. The room itself is very modern, CLEAN, and just cozy. The bed was amazing, and when we asked for extra towels the staff didn't hesitate at all.
Probably the only hang ups, not under the hotels control, was there was a pretty large size family there with a number of kids, but they were all mostly polite. Also our TV kept turning on after we turned it off. After one night of sleeping with the TV on all night, we told the front desk and left for a bit to explore and came back and there was a new TV in the room!
If we ever find ourselves in Key Largo again, we will most definitely book this hotel.

We had a last minute-type booking after our first choice was wiped out by the hurricanes last year. The DRIFT hotel was great! Though, some amenities of the bigger resorts were lacking, the room was spacious and clean, the staff attentive and efficient, and the location was great as a 'jumping off' point for daily activities.

This place is just terrible, they are renovating and I think we paid for the renovations, nightly stay way over priced, poor location, no housekeeping unless you ask for it, can't shut the door from the inside without taking a knuckle off, beds were horrible, very noisy from the trailer park behind you and the list goes on. I would never recommend, you can stay at the Marriott way cheaper and much nicer in a better location.
