We stayed at Watercolor Inn & Resort this summer (2021) and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations as well as the staff.
Randy Queen was outstanding in making sure our stay was perfect. He took care of every need including best places to eat, time to make reservations at local restaurants, best services to take advantage of, and so forth. Our family truly enjoyed every aspect of stay at Watercolor, thanks to Randy Queen and the rest of the staff.

This was our first trip together to Watercolor and we really enjoyed our stay. In one of the busiest summers to the beach in 2021, we were so appreciative to have every amenity so close and available. The FOOW restaurant was amazing and only steps away from our room with no wait time and the food did not disappoint. The pools at the Beach Club were beautiful and clean at all times and the frozen Pina Coladas were great with a friendly tentative wait staff. We walked a few blocks down to Seaside and had a great time shopping and dining on the beach. We hope to come back real soon from New Orleans where we call home to your pristine Resort again very soon. Tina and Byron Santo.

Not only is the atmosphere amazingly peaceful and the food tasting fantastic, but they have so many gluten free options! I ate hush puppies for the first time since 2010! Thank you, FOOW!

We were only there for one night, but we had a beautiful time. The entire staff is courteous and helpful. I also felt extremely safe with the COVID measures the hotel is taking.

We were told we had 3 hours to checkout because we had are Registered Service dog with us and it wasn’t allowed. Definitely not Veteran friendly place. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with a Registered service dog.

Second stay this season. Watercolor hotel, beach, and amenities are top-notch! Food at FOOW was incredible (ate there at least once a day, usually twice). Service, as always, was perfect. Staff goes above and beyond, especially Randy!

Our go to getaway every year for the last several years. They maintain the resort well, rooms are well kept, very friendly staff, Fish out of Water dining was excellent as we had not been there since the re-opening. Just got back from a wonderful 5 days and look forward to visiting in Feb/Mar if 2020.

We loved our long weekend at Watercolor Inn & Resort. Great food and loved the homemade cookies left on our bed each night. Our son absolutely loved Camp WaterColor who are we kidding, we did too! We will be back!

The Inn and it's staff are outstanding, unfortunately Brad and his Beach Services crew offset the great atmosphere of the Staff at the Inn itself. Won't go into the details here but definitely a service and image blight on the Watercolor and St Joe brands.

The Front Desk Staff is amazing! They will do anything in their power to ensure that your stay is the best it can possibly be!

Stayed with a friend and his family. They rented a house for the week. Beautiful area. Several pools to choose from. Bike trails and bikes too. The house even had its own golf cart so once we arrived, the car wasn’t necessary.

Fabulous views from the 4th floor. Room 412 — the round suite is the bomb!

Wonderful hotel on a great beach with friendly staff. The view of the Gulf of Mexico from our balcony was gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous architecture and lovely walks to be taken along the beach and property.

Wonderful hotel on a great beach with friendly staff. The sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico from our balcony were simply fabulous. Very close to the many upscale shops and restaurants along Highway 30A.

The food was stellar but the screaming wan in the lobby that was yelling to yell and the horrible service ruined the experience. For a dinner where two people easily drop over $100 I expect better service. The girl was nice but never checked in on our table, pretty much felt ignored and when there was something we needed getting one of the many servers that fly by your table is impossible. Pretty much ruins the fact that the food is good and the view is incredible. Go somewhere else, you'll enjoy it more.

We went to lunch at FOOW and dined outside, view was AMAZING overlooking the gulf. All of the service staff was friendly and attentive, checking on us frequently and giving a warm welcome when we walked in. Our server Jasmine was incredible, answering all of our questions and giving great recommendations. The tuna tacos exceeded expectations and dessert was huge and so so good. They even had my favorite local beer on tap (idyllhounds divide&conquer)! Wish there were more vegetable options. We definitely will be back, glad to have a new go-to on 30A!

The Watercolor In & Resort is first class. It's one thing when a place has great food, amenities, shops, etc. (which it does). However, the best part was how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The food at The Gathering Place, Fish Out of Water and by the pool were all amazing. The beach was in pristine condition and this part of the Gulf was exceptional. Make sure you take advantage of the bicycles and explore Seaside and the Watercolor communities. We will be back again (hopefully soon)!

Nice pool, a little small, but nice and more adult oriented. Upscale bar area. Polite staff & great spot by the beach.

We needed a weekend getaway to relax and de-stress. We booked this resort several months in advance. When we arrived, there was complimentary valet parking and bellhop. This is for the entire stay. They have a sunset experience which consists of Proseco being brought to the room during one night of the stay. Everyone is VERY friendly and helpful! There is an adult pool for people without kids. There is a huge pool for families. They have flavored waters in the lobby and at the adult pool. Things like lemon infused, strawberry infused, and cucumber infused waters that are cold and refreshing. There is cabana service at the pool where you can order food and drinks. You have regular room cleaning services and a turn down service later in the day. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance and shops. We have throughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back.

Love staying at Watercolor. We have never stayed actually at the inn but swim at the pool almost daily when we come while eating lunch there. Been the last 8 out of 9 years. Our kids love Watercolor and we’re so sad when we took a year off last year.

Many fun activities for the whole family. It was great to ride bikes everywhere. Very cute town/community.

Great resort with amazing food at the Beach Club, kids' activities, and sprawling trails to hike or bike in a natural landscape. Perfection!

Great people! Nice spa. The pool was nice. The smell of industrial solvent from the renovation of their restaurant, Fish Out of Water, was too much. They did stop the work eventually after enough complaining. All said, the staff was so sweet!

Walked in and looked nice. Was on 30a and near lots of things.

I think we went on the deadest week of the year but that suited me fine. The staff here is fantastic and the oceanfront room was great. There were nice big chairs on the deck for taking in the view. It was too cold to really take in any Beach or water activity though. Also the water color in this part of Florida is unreal and the Inn is certainly aptly named. It's located close to Seaside that you can bike to or even walk to food options. The wine bar just across the street is amazing and their happy hour is nearly all afternoon so that's worth checking out daily.

Watercolor was so pretty! The shopping was nice, and there was lots of beach accesses.

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and facility. Wouldn't go back because it's soooo expensive but worth it if you have it to spend.

This was our 6th visit in 11 years, and although we’ve checked out other resorts all over FL, we always come back to our fav spot: WaterColor Inn & Resort! We rented a lovely house, and took advantage of all that the resort offers: gorgeous beaches, fun Beach Club, tennis, biking everywhere, fun Candy Bar, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. We can’t wait to see the new Camp WaterColor, Beach Club and Fish Out of Water when renovations are done. We will be back soon!

WaterColor Inn is located within a retirement community. We stayed in one of the homes outside of the resort. Everything is fairly close that you’re able to ride bikes around the community. The homes provide 2-4 bicycles for free depending where you stay. There is also nature trails, canoeing, (free renting during certain hours), and golf carts. It’s a great place for family vacation. It doesn’t get too wild at the local bars so it’s a great place to hang out for a few drinks.

Only visited the pool, very nice and has separate pool for kids and 21+. Towels also provided which was nice.

The manager, Slade (? ) introduced himself to myself and my friend personally and I could not have been more impressed with his friendliness and level of professionalism. My understanding is that he has crafted the entire menu himself and it was truly remarkable. The sushi was out of this world and their craft cocktails were amazing as well. I will most definitely be back to enjoy more of the signature menu and phenomenal service.

The town of Seasode could be no more perfect, it was designed that way. And the WaterColor Inn fits PERFECTLY in this perfect place. The Service is exceptional (Ritz-Carlton level) and the atmosphere is perfect Florida beachy. My wife and I like to vacation in comfort and style, and this place fits the bill. There is beach access to powder sands as well as two pools that are great (one adult and one kids). The drinks are good and the views are perfect.

This is a wonderful place, a lot of thought went into the design of all of it. Staff is friendly and well-trained. The pools are clean and maintained. The restaurants are very good and serve a variety of seafood as well as steak. In line with with this high standard, you come to expect to be charged an equivalent price.

Excellent service and the staff was very attentive. The room cleaning service was spot on and did an amazing job. Love coming back to fresh baked cookies on our pillow. We will definitely be coming back.

We love the beach and the surrounding areas. The hotel is beautiful and we'll worth the price. Seaside is a true gem!

The entire wait staff was very welcoming. The 'adult beverage ' was the best. Each stage of the many courses for dinner was more delicious than the previous one and the timing was just right.

WaterColor inn is a spectacular community to vacation. Everyone is extremely kind and the streets are filled with bikers. It's amazing to see a community driven by biking focused transportation versus cars. The club and amenities are all top notch.

Horseback riding too! Thank you for finding the horses. My favorite place to go with my whole family! Great place for kids and the whitest beaches you will ever see! We found a lovely place to go horseback riding that I would like to share with your guests also. Western Pleasure Riding Stable 850-267-3153. This activity was just an added bonus to are vacation!

Location is great, maintenence is great on property but the pool an beach areas are badly overcrowded for the cost of the resort.

Super nice resort. We rented a beautiful 4 bedroom house that's is extremely nice and I think only about three years old. We really here for the week. Be certain to visit Grayton State Park Beach if you want to see a great beach with fewer crowds than the resort. Its only about three miles away. Great time. Hope to come back soon.

Visited the beach and pool areas. The beach is beautiful with clear water. Make sure to rent an umbrella and chairs. The pool is great for the whole family with a nice bar and good food. Prices are somewhat expensive, as can be expected.

Staff and the hotel are great. Beach right outside hotel. Balcony faced the Gulf. So many things to do at this hotel and it's surrounding area. This particular hotel can use a bigger bar thou but it wasn't a deal breaker.

I don't have enough amazing things to say about this place. The staff and service go the extra mile in everything to make sure you have an incredible experience. Accommodations were breathtaking. Worth every penny.

Couldn't have been more satisfied for what I paid.

I figured that at $450 a night, that this place would need to be the best hotel at which I've ever stayed. And it was. The service was simply phenomenal. The staff didn't annoy for tips in any way, shape, or form. They were fantastic. Everything was wonderful. The food and coffee was fantastic. They really went all out and made my wife's birthday trip a memory of a lifetime.

We had the most memorable vacation experience at WaterColor — one of the best beach, great people, great food. I would recommend it to everyone.
