Our family was on vacation in Florida for a week, we stayed here four days, it was fantastic! Everything there inside and out had the comforts of home. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very quiet place day and night even being by a busy road. We were walking distance from the ocean and many great restaurants and diners! We will definitely book this same place each time we visit.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE, for the love of God! My mom and I stayed here for 2 nights, as I was visiting from Colorado for my birthday. Upon arrival, we were appalled at the state of the room: no vacuuming was done, there was hair (human) everywhere, there was a bunch of some sticky stuff that looked like it was splattered from the microwave onto the floor, the sink was dirty, there were “floaters” in our coffee, and stains on the bed. My mom and I went down to the office and she told them the state of the room. The office staff replied they were going to go up to our room again to clean it. Ok, the sticky substance was gone, but the room was still not vacuumed, the sink was still dirty, and hair was still in the bathtub and sink! This place also has a basket where you put your dirty towels and they are supposed to replenish them… didn’t happen until the day we left. I’m not kidding when I tell you that besides that first night when my mom and I went to let them know the room wasn’t clean, the staff was never in the office each time we went down there to ask a question (3x). The room was filthy, the staff was MIA, we ended up having to clean the rest of the room ourselves! For spending $150 a night, there had better be higher standards of treatment of guests. We would have gone elsewhere, but we couldn’t have got our money back to go somewhere cleaner. So, we only slept in the room basically and couldn’t wait to leave. This was truly pathetic service.

Bald Male Desk clerk refused to honor military discount for stay weekend. Third time staying here and kind of feel discriminated against from desk clerk staff. It is memorial day weekend a veterans holiday, would advise to rent else where! Not military or veteran friendly.

Second time here and we love it. Our fur babies are welcome here too. It may not be right on the Gulf but close enough, just a short cut across the street.

Holiday Isles is old Florida for sure. The building is old but well maintained and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The turnaround time on linen service was great. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and in really good condition. My only problem was the parking for the motel is behind the building so not only can you not see your car, unloading to your room is a pain.

Great location right across from beach. Rooms are clean. Could use a update. Overall I would stay again. Staff were helpful and friendly. Has a clean pool. Pets are welcome. They have a other section for pets.

The room was not very clean It is suppose to be an efficiency unit. I had 1 bowl a fork was broken had 3 prongs instead of 4. My bed upon arrival the top and bottom was made side to side. No plug for tub and kitchen sink did not have a plug that held water. Did not receive any clean towels for almost 4 days. Staff not friendly at all. Said good morning they did not acknowledge We have been coming to this place for 10 years. It has gone down hill fast. We went to barbeque no gas told management he said he go then and there never did get it. They charge a dollar to use the barbeque 25 cents for ice I loved coming there but will not return. We have brought a lot of people holiday isles they to will not be back. It needs to be cleaned up not were the hotel into the ground. So sad.

Nice place not everything was perfect but we had fun and enjoyed the amenities.

We just stayed here for 7 days. It’s a okay run down motel and I will not be back… the pool is heated but yucky looking. There is close by bars that we spent majority of our time at since the weather was cold out. It’s dog friendly. But if you have a dog that yaps while you are out they can only bark for 20 minutes max. I brought my 2 dogs and told the lady 2months ago I had TWO small dogs and at arrival I had 2 dogs and my two kids the first 3 nights. Apparently they had thought I’d taken advantage of them and tried sneaking a extra dog in? I had told Desiree I told her two dogs and she got very rude with me and said I did not. I do not care about it being charged the $80 since I would’ve paid it in the beginning if she had heard me the first two times but she did not have to be so rude like I was purposely trying to sneak my dog in.? We also had a problem with one of our small dogs picking at their bath room door that was already soggy, and chip at the bottom when we arrived. I took photos of this Incase it was a bigger problem and it did become one… I was up front about the situation and honest. They charged my card $200 for the damage before we even checked out… which absolutely is crazy because the hole was not even big. I could understand $50 maybe $100 but no they charged me more then a nights stay for a door that was already screwed up and had rusty hinges.

A weekend away we were excited as my friend had been coming to this little place since she was 15. It was her birthday turning 33. It obviously has changed owners. Unless your 70/or above, I would not recommend this place. The staff/owners never left us alone. I felt like a first grader being put in the corner the entire weekend. From parking, to charging extra for car pass, to constantly complaining if you had a flip flop in the walkway, to not allowing you to sit outside your room on the tiny patio to have a beer with friends and talk. Told we had to move to across to tiki area. Constantly badgered us the entire weekend. At 180 bucks a night… never again! Way better places to stay.

Nice little spot relatively clean and very close to the beach also cheap and right between 2 good restaurants with bars.

Friendly staff, very nice pool, many repeating customers that made favorable comments about the resort and very close walking distance to a beautiful beach. The resort is pet friendly which made our vacation more enjoyable. Holiday Isles is near great restaurants, bus routes, stores, gas station and post office.

Nice mom and pop motel. Staff helpful. We enjoyed our stay and they made us and our dogs feel welcome.

This is the absolute worst place I have ever been to in my entire life! No hot water, dirty, smelly rooms. Sketchy, loud clientele. You can literally hear everything through the thin walls. They have long term guests that stay up all night playing music and getting super drunk. We had reservations for two days, which they bill you everything up front, probably because they know people will leave early. We checked out a day early, they refused to refund us our second night. Spare yourself the trouble and never go there. Tell your friends and family to never go there.

Not a great experience. But worked for 1 night after the hurricane Irma and they took our pets. Almost no hot water. A/C barely kept up and you had to take out your own garbage at the end of your stay. Also pretty dated and needs updates. But staff was friendly and waited for us to arrive at 1am. Given the circumstances it was a safe place to sleep but not something I would recommend to someone looking for a nice place by the beach.

Great place! My sister and I took the kids… It was very easy to find and right across from the beach. Very nice, clean and affordable. This is my go to place from here on out… loved my stay! And so that future guest will know that this isn't a fake review… we stayed in room number 31! Just saying that because others try bashing this establishment for no reason! And the guest around us were very nice… an the staff was top notch!

Stay here every time I go to the beach. Lovely and super affordable place. Really nice for the weekends + has a pool. Cool place to bring kids because they'll love it. Free to bring pets and next to a sweet restaurant that's open for a long time.

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is overpriced, an absolute dump, and is infested with bugs. The owner is a jerk who refuses to accept the problems that this establishment has (as you can see from the responses on other comments). The owner also doesn't seem to get that a customers experience should be first priority not his sense of pride. I highly suggest that you do not stay here. Spend your money elsewhere. Holiday Isles Resort does not deserve to be in business. P. S. : Owner — Don't bother leaving a response to try and cover up your failures as an owner. Update: The owners response proves my point. Btw my name was not used for the reservation so that's why you don't have my name on record and I'm not the person that you are talking about that caused trouble!

This place was the only reasonable place we could find on short notice that allowed dogs. Was extremely clean and cozy! Great location… Just a few steps from the beach, next to a great bar and within walking distance to John's Pass. Yes, water takes a bit to warm up, but that is posted. Yes, there are a few extra fees that you can incur, but they are posted. No hidden fees that you are not notified of. We were able to have a friend visit for just a small fee. It would have been more for them to park at the public beach for the day so it worked out perfect. The woman who checked us in had an upbeat personality… The maintenance man was very helpful and friendly. Only complaint was the man who checked us out. Not sure if he was having a bad day or not, but he definitely was not the friendliest. Any who, we will be back for sure! Already booked another night for next month :)

Holiday Isles Resort was not a bad stay, but other places in the area have been nicer for the same price. Pros: • If you have a pet, they are welcome here. • They have plenty of beach toys for the kids. • There was no charge for early checkin. • $15 was not a bad price to extend checkout until 2 pm. • The beach is directly across the street. • There is a good breakfast at the place next door. • The place is fairly clean, outside of finding a previous guest's clothes. • Most of the staff is friendly. • You can save $15 by not getting room service. • Fridge, stove, microwave, pots, pans, and dishes in the room • They are flexible on pool hours, as long as people are being quiet. • Some cool things within short driving distance, like a putt-putt golf place and a lot of places to eat. • 7-11 and CVS within walking distance Cons: • Lot of weird little charges, like the ice machine costs a quarter. • The Wi-Fi isn't all that great. • Your visitors pay $10 each to stay the night or use the pool, so if one of your kid's friends wants to visit for a swim, you pay. It is clearly posted in the office, so it's not a hidden charge at least. • Showers don't get all that hot (even after waiting like the little sign says), and get totally cold if someone else runs water. • One tiny bottle of shampoo (we had 4 people for 3 days). Charge for extra. CVS is down the street. Just go buy a bottle.

Avoid this hotel unless you're ok with rude employees and dirty rooms. Booked a room online for my elderly father to stay because the place looked nice in the pictures. Unfortunately the pictures don't show the door locks that don't work and the broken toilet seat (that management wouldn't fix). There was no mention of the fact that there are 2 handicapped parking spots for the entire place. (Management says that's all they're required to have by law and they are first come first serve. ) They don't tell you on the Internet listing that you have to strip your own beds and then remake them yourself if you want "clean" linens. Or that you have to wash all your dishes before you leave or there is an extra fee. I don't think they actually have a cleaning staff. Beware, they don't give refunds even if you find the previous tenant's clothing in the room or their old food in the refrigerator (exactly what did the maids do when they "cleaned the room")? No refunds even if you are handicapped and they dont have adequate parking. The staff was incredibly rude, dismissive and really couldn't have cared less that one of their guests was unhappy. They made him pay for the full week when he checked in and since they had his money there was no motivation to address any of his concerns. When my brother came to visit my dad they made him pay to park there during his visit.

DIRTY! Bath did not look like it was cleaned in forever, shower curtain was full of mold there was dirt collected in corners of bathroom. Feet were BLACK from walking on carpet right after a shower. Opened sleeper sofa and mattress looked ancient the mattress cover that was left to put on was HUGE and so ripped it could not be put on mattress plus it was covered in animal hair. Sheets for mattress were huge and blankets were really old and scratchy. If I had not just driven 16 hours to get here and only staying here one night while waiting for my condo I would have found a different place. One good thing is I didn't find bugs, but seriously needs a new cleaning crew and some updates. Not worth it!

My girlfriend and I booked our vacation in March and this hotel looked pretty nice and it was walking distance to the beach, which was perfect for us because we didnt have a car. When we arrived this past Thursday, this hotel DID NOT look like it pictures! We requested a 1 bed and got 2, the room was dirty with dirt underneath the beds including a empty water bottle, papers and chips. Which tells me the maids just sweeped everything under the beds not thinking that someone would look under them. Im not done yet. There was also black hair all over the sheets and FLEAS! WE stayed for an hour and then left! There was NO WAY that this was going to ruin my vacation! We got our money back which was good but I do NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

If you are afraid of or allergic against dogs or cats do not stay there. Otherwise it's a perfect place. They have a very nice pool, clean rooms, nice staff and the location is super. It's close to the beach, Johns Pass and a view bars and restaurants. Pets and kids are very welcome — we traveled without and didn't feel disturbed.

Reminds me of the motel from the Reno 911 movie. I'd post a link to YouTube or write out the quote, but Google will sensor it out. Look up Reno 911 motel if you aren't familiar with it. I am very glad I only stayed one night.

Everything went well. Only issue would be with other guests smoking and the smell of cigarettes permeated the room. Neighborhood isn't necessarily the best.

I stayed at Holliday isle Resort this January and last January for a week. It's one block to the beach and a short walk to beachside restaurants. The staff is friendly and the place is kept very clean. Best value for the price in the area as far as I'm conserned. I'll be back next year. Jack Carrick.

A wonderful time all theTime. Happy fun place to really get away. Even though you can't go nude, you cans dress anyway you like. The less, the best!

Been hear a few times. Kids love it. Next to a bar and grill. Great place to eat and relax and kid friendly. Across the street from the beach. Kids love pool and they love the turtles. Staff very nice. Great location.

Love this place! I have stayed here for at least a week for the last 4 years and plan to return. Great location across the street from the beach and there is an awesome bar and grill next door. Awesome for families. No complaints.

Great old school mom and pop place. Had a great time the staff was great and very helpful. Will be back soon.
