We loved staying here with our family! It was wonderful having the full kitchen and being so close to the beach. Quiet spot and very clean. Can’t wait to go back!

This is our favorite place to stay. Our only complaints are that we’ve had bad luck with beds. Both times we stayed here the bed was very uncomfortable and to small for two of us. I’m currently typing this from the couch where I’ve slept all week. Also we have a son in a wheelchair chair and there are no ramps to the rooms or to get into a room. That makes things tough. Still our favorite place I just hope they fix these two issues.
We will be back. Probably soon! 😁

Great condo with beautiful views and walkable to stores, coffee and restaurants. Office staff was extremely helpful and curious. Our room was by the water with a great patio and room was decorated nicely. Highly recommend and we will be back.

I'm not going to tell everyone how great this place is because I want it to always be available for me! ❤ Love it love it love it. I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else in Indian Shores. Intercoastal waterway view and steps to the Gulf. The pool is amazing and the units are so cozy and clean. The best place to vacation ever.

The Beds Both beds were horrible and with two people on a queen size bed you would roll straight to the center. The place is far from being clean! Our feet were dirty within 30 minutes after checking in.

Loved everything about this place!. Great location, very clean and comfortable, nice heated pool, easy access to the beach, and most importantly very pleasant and caring staff. I will be recommending to friends as well as staying here again.

Stayed during Covid, very clean. Pool was open and not crowded. Easy beach access across road via cross walk out front of complex. Beach chairs, towel and an umbrella in room added extreme value and comfort. Staff was extremely courteous before and during stay.

We rented a condo at barefoot beach resort and it was well worth it! Great location and not over crowded!

We stayed there for the first time the week after Boxing Day. Loved it! The pretty yellow buildings, white picket fences, palm trees and very tidy landscaping make it feel very tropical and lovely. Our condo was clean and spacious. Walk to the beautiful beach was a breeze and loved the fact we overlooked the intercoastal. Our teenagers liked the short distance to mini putt and we liked the short walk to Indian Shores Coffee — also enjoyed yoga at the municipal building, eating at Original Pizza and picking up wine from the wine tasting bar. This is a great spot for a vacation!

This is the second year we have come to this resort and it has become one of our favorite places. My family and I love the intercostal view and the private patio. The room easily slept 6 people. This is becoming our go to place. The area is peaceful and the restaurants are excellent!

We rented 3 condos for 14 people, we were completely satisfied in every aspect of our stay! Clean and spacious with an extremely courteous staff. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars and putt putt. The grounds are immaculate with top notch maintenance staff. Plenty of gas grills and tables to bbq with family. Great for a family! Pool and beach access are perfect. It’s in its own little quite location. Next to a putt putt course. A lot of local restaurants close by. No complaints.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in August 2018. We stayed in their Bedroom Signature Condo with water view. Very clean. My only suggestion would be to re-grout the grout in the bathroom. There are contractors who specialize in just that and do it very cheaply. I had it done in my bathroom for $75.

This place is wonderful! More than we could've imagined it to be. Had a great stay here and would likely stay again. I do say its a little further out than what we're usrd to but no complaints about anything!

This place was awesome, clean condo. We enjoyed our stay here very much. I would give 5 stars other than the lady at the front desk was little rude when I asked her What I should do about another parking pass and she said there was nothing she could do for me? When your 800 miles away from home, and the thought of being towed crosses your mind is not what you want to hear because they won’t give out 2 parking passes. You only get one, I suppose. We had driven 2 cars. Other than that small issue, it was great place to stay. Pool was very clean also.

This was a great resort even more than I would imagine. The staff was nice and my flight came in early I was able to sit out by the pool until my room was ready The resort had everything needed for a great relaxing vacation it was clean quiet and right across the street from the beach we will definitely be staying here next time we come❤️❤️

Very cozy and family oriented place. It has a large pool for numerous families to sit around and enjoy the Sun. Also has a fishing dock while the family is swimming you can fish. Lol Very clean and friendly place for a family vacation. Located in the right spot because there's a lot to do around here.

A great place with easy access to the Gulf side beaches and you can fish the InterCoastal waterway from a nice dock…

This resort was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with the shower head and it did get fixed during our stay although the water pressure wasn't too great. I did find it odd that we were only given 2 rolls of toilet paper. I called to ask for more and we were given an "emergency" roll. I don't remember seeing anywhere that we needed to provide our own toilet paper. Two rolls definitely is not enough for multiple nights in a room that sleeps 6. Oh, the TV remotes were difficult to use as well. My sister even bought new batteries in hopes that would make them easier to use. None of these issues ruined our stay, but I couldn't give the resort 5 stars.

I was hoping that it would be half as nice as the pictures made it out to be and the pictures don't even do it justice! Everything is perfect we will definitely be back!

This place was so cool it was a nice cozy little one bedroom with an office that had a futon a pull out couch in the living room and everything that would would need for a weekend at the beach. My family and I had a fantastic time and would like to visit again.

This place is beautiful. My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. This was our first time ever visiting Florida and everything was just perfect. The condo, grounds and pool were well maintained and clean. We loved the fact that we had the water behind us and were able to do some fishing from the pier directly behind the pool area, we could also sit there and just relax and even got to see some dolphins swimming. I loved the fact that beach access was just right across the street. We would definitely return and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Barefoot Beach Resort exceeded our expectations.

Fishing forgot your pole and tackle they lend you your needs close to bait shop right next door to a beautiful **** restaurant. Walking distance to a few bars Johns pass just a piece down the road Beautiful landscape. Inventory full of necessities I would rate this a 10 if I could. Stayed in a 2 bedroom 1000 sq ft end to end front back door. Tv with cable. Full kitchen I couldn’t ask for more.

We stayed at Barefoot Beach in March 2018. We had a large clean two bedroom condo and were lucky enough to have a view of the ocean from our sunroom. Very spacious with comfortable couches and a nice kitchen table. The pool area was very nice and I loved the dock area at the back of the complex. The beach is gorgeous and has access directly across the road. We had beach chairs in our room for us to use. The beds were old and the bed spreads we older and yucky which would be my only complaint, but everything else made up for it. We arrived and our coffee pot had broken and was as old as the bedspread (haha) but as soon as I inquired about that we had a new one arrive. No maid service which we were aware of before our stay but we had a linen exchange four days in which was a nice surprise. We will definitely be back, after a terribly disappointing stay at another resort the year before we were very happy with our overall experience :)

We absolutely loved our stay here! It had all the amenities of home. Very clean and well kept. The beach is right across the street. And it's a gorgeous stretch of private beach. We unfortunately just missed the turtles hatching. Luckily the Clearwater Aquarium is a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

These condos are great. They are peaceful and quiet nothing like being in a hotel. Very private and relaxing. We would recommend them to anyone.

We love this place! Pool is nice, people are great, it's next to one of the nicest restaurants in town, across the street from the beach, but also on the intercoastal waters so you can fish off the docks. We own a unit by the pool which is for rent.

This is the best and cleanest place. Thankful we could come here since we had damage. From hurricane. If you ever want a great place. Spend time here. Pool is excellent.

We stayed this summer for a week after being in Orlando for 2 weeks prior. Barefoot is a group of lovely self catering condos. We stayed in a first floor, one bedroom condo with a waterfront view. The view was beautiful and I'd certainly request a waterfront view again. Condos were spacious and a great size for a family of 4. Pool is a nice size and well maintained and the beach is across the road which is perfect! Only things to criticise really are that the condo could perhaps do with a little updating re: decor — the sofa bed was in need of replacing and wasn't very comfortable and I think beach towels should be provided per person staying and not as 2 per bedroom. I'd also say that the kitchen utensils could do with being replaced also. That being said, we had a lovely, relaxed time. A must for recovering from a 2 week break at Disney world! Will definitely be coming back again.

This resort was absolutely perfect! The rooms were amazing, the location perfect and it even came with beach chairs & a beach umbrella. Perfect anniversary getaway! ❤️

Excellent, stay, place was well maintained. Condo very clean and all new furniture. Spacious accommodation, beach across the street. Pool area great, boat dock easy access. Will come back again.

Not bad but nothing too special about this place. Yes its quiet, safe, clean but you see tourist go in and out of rooms and activities all day long, so you definitely get that not so relaxing home feeling here. To get to the beach you do have to cross the main street but there are yield to pedestrians flashing lights and crosswalks. There's nothingnwalking distance but there are a lot of great places short driving distances. The rooms have everything you need to make your stay more convenient including outside cooking grills.

We stayed 12 nights at the Barefoot Beach Resort. If you are looking for a basic and quiet resort — this is an average standard resort, a bit outdated. The pool area is nice, good size and easy access. The resort is not a hotel — which unfortunately was not made clear to us until we arrived. This means that there is no cleaning or changing of towels/linen. The staff in the office were very kind and service-minded. Areas of improvement are definately cleaning! Either offering cleaning or at least have cleaning equipment in the condo if you wish to clean yourself. Also update the bedlinen which were very used and not very nice. Unfortunately, we had issues with bed-fleas in the sleeper sofa.

Very cute small Beach Resort. Has all the basics for a Condo-Hotel. Located on the Bay across the street from Public Beach access to the Gulf. No elevators. Does have heated pool & decent amount of seating around pool. I'm a local a went to visit my friends from OH that booked a week here. I see a lot of these places and this had perfect Sunrise views, nice dock, & all the simple necessities. No frills yet clean. No daily maid service or refreshing of your linens. Parking is easy. No public ice machines. You have to use your own ice maker in your fridge/freezer inside your unit. Difficult to obtain the "fishing poles & tackle". Be prepared to buy your own if you truly want to fish. Not a lot of places to walk to, better rent a car or plan on Ubering for dining & nightlife. Great value for the $.

Horrible bedding and suspicious cleanliness… good location otherwise…

The service is good and the workers are friendly. The rooms could be updated a bit; some of the décor seems like it's from the 80's. The rooms are clean and well kept though, so I would definitely visit again.

The room was nice. The shower area seemed old and had some mold in the corners. The rest of the condo seemed fine for the price. I did receive a charge after I left that I was not aware of which I found disappointing. I didn't feel welcomed by the staff at the front desk and I got the impression I was a bother if I called to ask a question. The pool didn't seem clean and there was frayed rope floating around. There is recycling although the cans were not labeled well so people filled up the recycling containers with trash. Overall this a nice place for what you are paying.

Reasonably priced and very nice rooms. Many extras in rooms i. E beach chairs, umbrellas and floats. Beach access is convenient and the beach is not crowded. Only complaints were the bathroom being dirty and the bed being extremely uncomfortable. Overall experience was good. I would stay again.

So I don't give reviews ever but I want to tell everyone what we experienced at barefoot beach… So we walked into the place and it looked great everything you could ask for for being as cheap as the place was… After looking further we found all the appliances old and cracking … They told us we were a few steps from the beach… No you are on the other side of the beach which isn't a huge deal but why tell me that if you're not literally on the beach. We also walked into the bathroom to find nats and a few critters… Then they told us that it's sprayed once a month and implied we were lying, also they said it was fully equipped so my girlfriend didn't pack any hair dryers or anything, well the hairdryer didn't work, then we go to take a shower and the hot/cold doesn't work right it goes from freezing to extremely hot to the point I burnt myself, they told me I should have called and they would of had someone come work on it, so on my four day vacation I have to make sure I'm there so someone can come fix what should of been found out before? And fixed before I got there? And as far as location it's not near anything besides one restaurant and a bar that's basically in a house. The bus rolls by once in a while usually atleased a ten min wait and about 20-25 min to get to Clearwater. They also said they could get us discounted Busch gardens tickets, they were more expensive then buying them online from Busch gardens.

The stay was very nice. I came for Spring Break with some friends and it was a very much needed experience with Barefoot Beach!

We stay at 101D right beside the BBQ parkette and half way between pool and beach. Lots of light and on ground floor easy to get in and out. Resort is easy to stay in, free Wi-Fi in condo and the pool, enough space for family of 5, great views and beside a great restaurant and near great cafe. Very clean and private beach and lots of parking. Resort has lots of foliage and very well kept.

The condo was clean, but smelled. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The tiled floors, almost all through out, gave the living experience a very cold feeling. Not very homey. The staff was helpful and nice. Get Wi-Fi, large flat screen TV, useful kitchen. Pool very nice. Clean town.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Close to restaurants and entertainment. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Our suite is modern and clean complete with a super comfortable bed. The pool was also really nice. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in UNIT 113E which is located out front on the corner. The place is amazing. Furniture is up to date, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV! Bathroom has been updated, with a really nice shower door. The shower also has two shower heads which is pretty cool. The patio out front is spacious and you can actually see the Gulf! Everything you need to feel at home was included (utensils, cookware, dishes, towels, beach chairs and noodles for the pool) Unit was very clean. Pool was beautiful! Oh and the best part of being out front was all you need to do was walk across the street and you are on the beach. If you wanted to get lunch, no need to pack it just head back from beach and make your sandwich. We counted it was only 183 steps from the front porch to the white sandy beach. Oh and we cant forget about the Salt Rock Grille. AMAZING and go before 530 and you can save some money but still get an amazing dinner. We will be back, and we will request the same UNIT 113E!

This place is awesome, close to fishing on either side, the pool couldn't get any better especially under the stars. Close to any restaurant (galore). If you're not happy, it's only to a limited imagination. Try it, relax, and let loose.

Our condo at the Barefoot Beach Resort was clean and had beach chairs in the closet which was nice! A very short walk over to the beach. Loved the beach, nice sunsets and not highly populated like the other beaches. ALL of the office staff was very friendly and helpful with the exception of one (Tina). She must have been having a bad day or that's just her personality. She shouldn't be working with the public! I'd definitely stay here again. The only compliant was. The air conditioning was very LOUD.

It was a very nice stay at the resort. Overall, we were satisfied. A major thing that I think would make the place better would be a once a day vacuum, or at the very least, one included in the rooms.

We stayed here in February this year and was disapointed. The beds were awful and the dressers were in terrible condition. The TV's were so old one had a VCR in it. We had to buy our own pool towels and new pillows because thiers were about 2" thick. On the web sight they advertise a heated pool, but when we arrived they told me it was not heated.

Will happily stay here again. Everything was clean, not even sand outside the front door. View of the wetland was amazing, especially at sunrise. Beach access was easy, and never crowded. Coffee, dining, and donuts all within less than two miles; we walked nearly everywhere we needed to go.

I am currently staying at the barefoot resort and my experience is awful. The furniture is dated and dingy. There are stains in the carpet. The complimentary beach equipment is inadequate. 1 small umbrella for two beach chairs. You can only exchange linens every 8days?!. When I checked in I was given a room on the 2nd level, when I asked to move to the 1st level the resort wanted me to pay a $75 housekeeping fee. When I made the reservations there was nothing to indicate that daily housekeeping will not be provided. I do not consider this excursion a vacation. Unless you are use to these type of accommodations, I would not recommend this resort.

We stayed here for a holiday weekend. We found the entire resort to be very clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and extremely responsive. This beach is absolutely gorgeous and the location is within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and attractions. My young son left his favorite stuffed toy and they mailed it back to us the next day. We really appreciated the personal attention.

Just loved this condo. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've stayed at many, many, hotels and my guest room at this hotel was the cleanest one I have ever seen. Absolutely spotless! Ceramic floors throughout. The bed was comfy. Kitchen area was well-stocked. No stove, though there was a microwave and refrigerator. If you plan to stay here and don't need ocean front. You can have a nice ocean view from the rooms located in the back nearest to the road. The free Wi-Fi was very fast. The hotel was in walking distance of many places to eat and shop. Also just a few blocks from Johns Pass and the Seafood Festival, of which we enjoyed very much. The beach there had the softest, whitest sand I have yet to see. Reminded me of Orange Beach, FL (looks like snow). Very impressive! Beautiful Sunsets! The only downside, no hairdryer and you were not allowed to smoke on the balcony. I'm not a smoker, but I would think it would be inconvenient for those who do. And about the toilet paper in some reviews I have read. Upon check in, we had one on the holder and one extra under the sink with the extra towels. You can ask for one roll per day. Plenty for me and my husband for 2-3 days. Guess if you have more people in your party. You may want to bring extra. Excellent accommodations and a reasonable price.

Was glad I read some reviews before since we had never rented a condo before and were not aware of the toilet paper (only one roll is supplied) so we knew to pick some up. The unit was VERY clean, we were thrilled to find Beach chairs that we used almost everyday since the beach was right across the street. Honestly we enjoyed our stay and would consider going back again. No complaints here at all.

Just got back from a nice relaxing stay at Barefoot Beach Resort; unit 205. The good points about our unit/resort were: 1. The unit was clean. 2. The staff was very friendly and it was a nice quiet area. 3. There were two bedrooms, three TVs and only one (1) bathroom which had two shower heads, for a fantastic shower! 4. Also had some beach toys and chairs for enjoyment on the beach. 5. Beach was just across the road. 6. Nice places to eat nearby 7. The resort location was about halfway between Treasure Island and Clearwater beach. We visited both. The NOT so good things about our unit/resort were: 1. Our unit was not Toddler friendly. Immediately upon entering our unit. My 2year old granddaughter injured her upper lip and gum area on one of the clear glass round tables! : ( 2. Lots of items in the unit had to be put out of reach of toddlers. 3. Only (1) one bathroom and no Tub. (but the shower had two shower-heads) 4. The beds were very small (maybe full size) and lumpy 5. Our unit had No balcony or patio area 6. We were Right next to the Road (we could hear traffic from our bedroom) 7. We were awaken by fire alarms going off in our unit in the middle of the night on the first night of our stay. Which was not fun at all. This happened 3 times that first night. 8. No children's playground, however there is a mini golf place within walking distance. 9.
