Great location but the place is a dump. Its a shame because it has such potential to be a great property. Pure neglect is all I can say!
Floor tiles separating causing a tripping hazard, dirty stove, rusted microwave The WORST is the shower has a squishy floor and after your shower you can hear water swishing around when you step. I can only imagine the mold growing under that tub! Gross!

This place was amazing, we had 3 rooms and all were beautiful. Can't wait to go back again. Staff was very helpful and took care of all our needs.

Great place, close to everything but quiet lay back style, beautiful view of the beach, staff excellent, second time staying here, I can't wait for the third.

Place is not fancy but great location, steps to the beach, room 2 was big could use an update, Elizabeth front desk was super nice.

Tremendous poor room service and tremendous resection rude and un professionalism when directing and guests, who in a year visit up to 5 times the place, this was the last time we visited the place.

Extremely disgusted that they would not give full refund after we canceled our stay due to the Global Pandemic of the novel Coronavirus and traveling with a 91 year old. Poor management, lack of decency and ignorant to state lick down that discourage travel due to extreme health and well veins concerns. Elizabeth, a manager of the resort, is a despicable representative of the hospitality industry. Shame on their lack of humanity during a crisis.

A 10 star hotel. Staff was above and beyond shout to my girl Laurie. A sweetheart! Patrick. Helpful as can be and Janette was a peach. I’ll definitely come back!

Beautiful view from our room had the pool ALL to myself this morning you can sit poolside and have ocean view beach was prefect no crowds. We like to come back next year same room.

The bathrooms smelled as if they were not cleaned. There was also a roach on our first day and another on the morning we left. My husband killed the last one and left it so the staff will know there's a problem. The couch was uncomfortable and the kitchen could be updated. Specifically the stove … The place was pricey for what we got. We would have gone to our usual hotel, but we had made our plans a little late, and they were available.

Perfect location and Friendly staff.

Super quiet location and really beautiful, directly on the beach. The Apartments are equipped with everything you need, beach chairs/ sand toys, etc are free to borrow. Very nice and friendly employees. The Pool is big enough and has enough loungers are available. On the site there are iguanas and parrots in all sizes… Paradise. We come very gladly again.

Not awful but not great. It's conveniently located to many restaurants and nightlife, and the pool and beach area are nice. The room we had was "clean" but in desperate need of freshening up. Take it for what it is — an older weary beach establishment with a nice pool and good beach location. Spend your time outdoors and you'll enjoy it more.

Best relaxing place. Room 1 is the best, private patio, full kitchen, pool right there, grass is right there for our doggies, beach entrance not far, friendly staff, room is good enough for the time we spent in it. The only complaint is thank god I brought 2 big fans from home because the air was not the best. But overall experience and stay was great will definitely stay in room 1 again.

A Hidden gem in Pompano Beach. We loved our stay at this beach resort. We were right on the beach, beautiful sunsets and a pool to cool off in at the end of the day. It is not your 4 or 5 star resort, although if you can put aside the age and a little run down of the place, it is a very cozy location. We never saw any cockroaches or bugs in our room and everything was working fine. I have to agree the beds and sofa beds are not the most comfortable and need to be replaced but we made do and slept well knowing that we were waking up another day at the Coral Tides Resort! It was a nice change from the high risers and 5 star resorts we go to normally. It was my home away from home, and I felt very safe and comfortable. The service from Lori and Elizabeth are great and keep in mind they only work day hours so there is no one on the front desk late afternoons or evenings. Just keep that in mind when you need something and you will be fine. Remember to go with an open mind and no high expectations and you will love the place!

The staff at Coral Tides was phenomenal. It's right on the beach and your not right next door to any of those Mega complex hotel resorts. They were doing work there so it does need some touching up to say the least but it is very nice, quiet and peaceful!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The room said it accommodated 4 people and that is how big our party was. We had a Murphy bed and a pull out couch. The Murphy was decently kept, but the pull out was missing multiple springs to keep the bed from sagging. It was an uncomfortable few nights. The room is small but it does come with a kitchen and all the silverware, pots and pans etc. Which was really convenient. The daily cleaners did a great job considering all the sand that gets me dragged in. There was a cupboard door that was broken our entire stay. In our room we had a lot of roaches. With all the negatives of this place, there were a couple positives. It had a lot of beach equipment for you to borrow. It also was located right next to the beach. Just straight from your room to the beach. That part was amazing. There is also a pool which was fun to play in after the ocean. We got what we paid for. Wasn't terrible but definitely isn't a luxury establishment. Three stars for the location but the roaches and janky bed lost it a couple.

If you happen to have an emergency a day before a scheduled reservation be aware you are going to be charged full price of your stay. I'm sure it is a nice place to stay being on the beach But the people skills of the manager were not satisfied. .

Room 2, had the laminate faux wood floor. The floor was lifted and broken on the kitchen entrance and walk way. I cut my foot. Told office staff and the young in charge said that they knew it was like that. Couldn't use microwave because it will trip breaker. Wall unit AC very noisy. Bathroom smell moldy. Kitchen counter was (literally) falling apart. They property maintance personal cut the grass on our first night and left a mess of grass by the BBQ area. Then they trim the plants on our third day and they did a terrible job cleaning everything up. Poop everywhere from iguanas. There's a cleaning crew for rooms but not for property. On rainy, glommy days in which pool water is cold they won't turn heater in because it's summer. Broken and tapped up sofa beds. Dirty! All base board were full of dust.

The only good thing about here is the location.

Great place to stay. Front office staff was awesome, friendly and helpful.

Old dated run down rooms. Location was quiet. Filthy Windows none opened and screens were broken. Stove top coils to boil water were working at 50% Best part there were two bathrooms. Plenty of parking spaces for families. I think this was certainly the most uncomfortable room and bed. Our room was right next to the laundry room and the natural gas meter. I envisioned sitting on the patio outside our room for coffee. No way. I think the hotel was waiting for Hotel Rescue.

Old looking and old feeling place. Totally umcortable bed and pillows. Very noisy air conditioning and fridge (we had to turn both off! ). The place is often visited by cockroaches as we had to experience! We had booked for 2 nights but left immediately after the first despite the person in charge refusing to refund us that second night. We hated the place so much that we preferred to lose USD 120 than spending a second night there! Basically a place to be avoided.

Love this place we staied right on the beach. It wasn't as popular as deerfield so it was really really nice we stayed in room 1 it was large and very comfortable.

I personally was not staying there over night. Went to visit a friend, and found the place quite nice. I like the layout and it was ocean front. Clean and spacious. I didn't like the fact that when I went to leave I was locked in and had to retrieve a gate to to exit.

Great beach location but terrible loud ancient window a/c and bed with plastic covers that made sleep impossible.

I am rating this resort a 5 because that is the highest. Me and my daughter evacuated to this place right after experiencing and going through hurricane Irma. When we got there we were welcomed by a very friendly staff during this time of distress. Our room was gorgeous to say the least! My compliments to the housekeeping Department. Super clean and spotless. Sherri in the office is amazing! Very professional and we had some great conversation. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and will be returning I can guarantee that! Even my little Chihuahua Chico loved it! Not to mention the beautiful ocean was just a couple of steps from our back patio. Thank you Coral tides for making our stay so pleasant and keep up the great work!

This place is a dump! Can't believe people have written good things maybe they are tourists Dirty, broken ac, broken stove I actually tried to use it but it needed the electrical element plate to be jiggled into place had I known! broken patio umbrella, table was full of burn marks horrible,, horrible construction on the streets! Brought my own sheets and towels too, One good thing is they allow dogs We were getting our house tented and had no choice! They overcharged us too! Beware!

My parents stayed here when they came to visit. They had a room that looked out directly on the beach. They loved it. Furnishings were adequate but not amazing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We spent 9 nights here. You can't find a place any closer to paradise than this resort. The biggest decision was do we want to go to the beach or the pool. The pool was just outside our door and the ocean just feet away. My favorite time was dusk when the sun is setting, cooler breezes blowing in off the oceans and the colors that start melting in the sky. The owner Lori is adorable, and will do anything to make you happy, her assistant Sherri was also very sweet. And a thank you to Janet our housekeeper. That's how it is there you learn everyone's name and you become a member of an exclusive family. We already booked for next year and was disappointed we couldn't get the same room, that's the other thing everyone loves it there and books 1 to 2 years in advance. Enjoy, relax and share the love!

This is the kind of place that you really want to tell all of your friends about — but kind of hope that it stays a well kept secret! Sherrie at the desk was absolutely wonderful. Helpful, friendly, sweet and very knowledgeable about the area. Our room was HUGE, 2 king beds, two sofa beds two full bathrooms and a compact but full kitchen. There was even a table and chairs for 4. We stayed in room 17 and the front windows open directly on the oceanfront side of the property. This is the kind of place that reminds me of wonderful, annual childhood vacations to Florida. The building is older, but well kept, and it is very obvious that the owner is putting serious effort into keeping it up. The common areas were absolutely spotless and very well maintained. The pool area is wonderful and looks out over the beach. The beach area is also beautifully clean and very sparsely populated even during high season. It almost felt private. There were big overstuffed indoor/outdoor couches and banquettes that are perfect for large and small groups to get close and play cards or talk without having to be stuck in uncomfortable plastic chairs. This was a fantastic feature for our group. Don't book here expecting the Fountainbleu, it is a completely different type of experience. I'm sure that some might complain that the rooms are less than. Less than clean, it's impossible to keep out the beach grit and that's part of the beach experience as far as I'm concerned.

Stayed in room 7 which had 2 bedrooms. One full with bathroom and second bedroom with 2 twin beds with 2nd bathroom located in hallway. Open concept kitchen, dining table which seated 4 and living room. As noted with previous reviews it needs updating but if you can see beyond that the location by the beach is perfect. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Neighborhood has a lot of construction. Would stay again. Double check to make sure you have the correct room before unloading.

We had room 3 with a private patio ocean view. Would definitely book there again. Great view right on the beach!

We stayed in room 7. Great location, and very clean. Definitely staying there again if ever in that area. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because its not as updated as I would like. But great for the price!

My Cousin Came In From England, And Stayed At The Coral Tides Resort. I Recommended Coral Tides Resort To Her As I Had Heard So Many Great Things About It. Upon Arrival, We found a clean, neat, tidy Apartment, fully equipped, with everything, including remote control everything! And the decor! Modern, with an inviting, welcoming beach theme. A sparkling swimming pool, beautiful flowers, roses at the front entrance, and the entire ocean as our view. To see my cousin smile like that, was worth millions. The moment you arrive, your shoulders go down. Stress is now eliminated. We especially enjoyed the patio attached to her apartment. Perfect to enjoy a cocktail, or coffee in the morning. Peaceful, quaint, charming. Just a few words to describe the experience. Fully equipped, also with a laundromat, shuffle board center, two b-b-q grills, white sand private beach, And best of all, This Resort is near Everything! Restaurants, food shopping, local pub, bank, you name it. All within walking distance. The resort is also Pet Friendly! In Closing, Very Reasonable Price, Clean and refreshing, stress free. You will leave this resort feeling revived and new. The owner has done a splendid job! Bravo! Thank You! Charles B, Joanne H, and Family.

It is very well located but very poorly maintained. The air conditioning towards a terrible noise. The showers had mold / mildew, the hair dryer did not work. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room by the low signal. It is not recommended. The white clothing was not in good condition.

There are plenty of cockroaches inside the Cabin I stayed in, the windows do not function well, the air-condition is very noisy. In a nutshell, the place is not maintained well. On the good side, the location is great, and the manager is helpful.

Nobody to welcome you at 7:00pm… a phone number on the front, but nobody responds. No call back after I left a message… The view is good but the room needs reparations: rust on the kitchen, piece of wood missing, … What says more, except pass your way and find another address!

Only 1 word. Espectacular!
