I haven't been wowed staying at a hotel for a while. All of the staff is amazing. My husband and I forgot our toiletry bag and of course realized it right before bed. They had all of our needs at the front desk free of charge. And if that wasn't enough the brough extra pillows and blankets. Super accommodating and clean. I wish I could rate them higher than a 5 star. They deserve it!

Checked in tonight got charged more that was quoted by 200 was 130 more then the actual confirmation email said was a hold showed em bank info says processing which isn't a hold and when made reservations for the 4 nights asked specifically for fridge and microwave with 2 beds got a run down room with nothing but lil TV and stained up chair have been rewards member for along time as I travel alot for my daughter's softball team and work and never been so frustrated night staff was way cool but wasn't able to do anything for me I'm kinda stuck as they took 1037.58 off card already and can't upgrade to the room I asked for. Just an update the manager was very very helpful was able to fix my situation got money credited back to my card and accommodations were met above and beyond so respectful and helpful truly professional staff thanks so much we'll be back for sure manager gave card to directly reserve the right room and things needed thanks again and for working with me top notch staff and professionalism.

I was here for work, but I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are quite nice and have all the amenities you would want. Their breakfast was quite good. The hotel is a little bit further than most from the ski runs, but it doesn't matter as it looked like there's a shuttle you could take, and in steamboat you can't really be all that far from the resort at any given location. There's some great dining in town as well! All said it was an enjoyable visit and a comfortable hotel.

Great staff! They are total professionals and made our stay so incredible. The location is perfect! Walk to downtown and a quick convenient personal shuttle straight to the gondola. Just text them on your last run and they are there for you! This is the best place!

Very clean and quiet. Weird thing was when I walked into my room the TV was on, all the drawers pulled out and cushions all flipped up. Front desk said looks like head housekeeper did not do a final look at the room. Made me a bit nervous at first but was fine. The first and second floor seemed accessible but only steps going to the third floor rooms. Breakfast wasn't too bad, too awhile to get all the hot items out but was pleasant.

One of the best HAMPTON Inn & Suites I have ever stayed at. Thier breakfast is awesome. Fresh fruit is a major plus when you need that energy to hit the slopes.

Our favorite hotel in Steamboat now! The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great. The building and rooms are very clean. Comfy beds and the pool/ hot tubs are very nice after a long day out.

Excellent place to stay, ski and relax. Amazing friendly staff. Excellent Hot breakfast. Shuttle to and from gondola on demand, very convenient. Cozy rooms, excellent hot tub and swimming pool. I enjoyed my stay. Will definitely come back! Thank you!

Excellent experience at this limited service properry. We had a huge room, one with a king in one room and two kings in the other room. Staff was exceptional! Shuttle to and from the resort on demand is a huge plus. Great hot tubs, great pool. Nice little après ski with chocolate chip cookies and hot apple cider. This hotel will be my first choice when we go back to Steamboat!

Had a great experience at this hotel. Food breakfast every morning, shuttle to the gondola till 5pm. Great service. They have a nice lobby area with fireplace and sofas to sit by the fireplace, with 24/7 tea and coffee, during day time the had cookies in the lobby. They had good variety of food for breakfast and very nice personnel. There was a lady that would check on us every breakfast to make sure we are doing well and we got everything we needed. They also had a 24/7 little shop there, so you can buy some snacks, water or anything of that nature. Free parking, free Internet, free shuttle. Very satisfied with the Hampton Inn, that is actually our favorite hotel, we always peek them for our vacations. Love Hampton Inn that they have pretty much the some standards in every hotel you go.

Our flight was cancelled back home so we had to stay one night here (after 5 night stay at other local ski resort). Was pleasantly surprised by the Hampton. Room was large (2 queen) and bedding/towels soft. Parking is free and the free hot breakfast is great! Free Wi-Fi. Decent gym. Outdoor hot tubs. Signs say they have shuttle to ski area. Good value. Cons: If staying on 1st or 2nd floor, you can hear footsteps above. Also the doors close really hard/loud. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Good location, fun things to do, the breakfast was nothing to write home about. However the beds are comfortable and warm.

The Stott family really enjoyed staying with Steamboat Hampton as we have the past 4 other times… Great facility and people (very professional but warm staff) The front desk folks and really everyone goes out of their way to please I would like you to know that Kyle… is the best driver… customer focused. And total over-all concierge type person (GREAT WITH EVERYONE) Your breakfast… cookies… teas… all of it was superb. That lady works very hard and is excellent…!

Not one of the Hampden Inn's I've stayed at. Bed was like a rock and I like firm beds! Dated, plain decor, plumbing is suspect. Nice people working there, though.

Just a few blocks away from downtown Steamboat Springs, this hotel features comfortable rooms and a good amount of parking. A pretty decent continental breakfast is included. Four hotubs, a pool, and a fair-sized fitness center are welcome amenities.

Very clean. The hotel is very fresh. Nothing seems dated. The staff was very helpful and kind. The beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was extravagant.

Sarah and Charlie and the entire staff was outstanding throughout our stay. Planning a wedding reception and hosting it at the hotel was enjoyable because of the staff. Thank you so very much.

What makes a good hotel room? A nice bed, a clean bathroom, amenities, a safe place to sleep.   The Hampton Inn in Steamboat Springs is lacking and being a good hotel room. The bed has bugs that itch your skin. The bed is old I woke up with a backache I do not get back X. There is no refrigerator there is no microwave there's plenty of room for it in the room but there is none I thought most of the Hampton Inns. Come standard. The breakfast which should be standard at all Hamptons was the worst Hampton breakfast I've ever had the food was cold and old. You can't even pull into the parking lot because they're doing construction. It's like an old Motel converted to a Hampton Inn and they haven't updated anything so if you're looking at seeing some place just be aware that it's going to be like that. Have your expectations that you're going to be staying in more of a cabin atmosphere. It was very difficult to sleep in the room you could hear every step that the people above you stepped. The doors are very heavy like the old hotel doors and they slam closed so every time somebody left the room in the hall it woke me up because I could hear the door slam closed. I don't think I would stay again at this Hampton Inn unless I had to. On a positive the TV did have access to all of the major cable stations which a lot of hotels don't give you that.

I love this place! Very clean, organized and the rooms are set up to be very accomadating. Other than my room not having a tub. I have a 1 yr old and she's too big for the sink. Lol. We will visit the pool and downtown tomorrow! Not 100% sure if this place allows marijuana on property.

Nice hotel with great amenities. Room was clean, good breakfast and good location!

Great location off the main road but still a quiet location so there is minimal road noise. Lots of stairs involved but there are wheelchair accessible ways to get around. The staff are more than willing to go out of their way to help and the rooms are large and comfortable.

The rooms were great, the complimentary Internet was good, they had lots of good TV shows, and their food was great. The only thing that I could say that could have improvement was the pool. But overall it was a amazing place to stay at.

Awesome staff. Super helpful with all of our questions about Steamboat. Too cold for pool, so it was covered up and they had 3 hot tubs, they were closed for maintenance our entire stay. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Rooms had good views of you are on the upper floors. I would stay again for certain.

Decent location and friendly staff. The air conditioning units are loud, though, so if that's not your thing, beware.

This Hampton Inn has all the usual features and also offers suites to accommodate weekend and longer stays. Very friendly and professional staff.

AMAZING! This place has everything you could want and more. Great rooms, great breakfast and a friendly staff. The suites have several options for beds — with a master king room and 2 queens and a pull out sofa available in the living room. There are also two separate bathrooms and a walk in closet. The breakfast area has a nice flat screen TV and plenty of room to sit by the fire. Great place I didn't want to leave!

Love staying at the Hampton Inn. This particular property is no exception. Beautiful place to stay. Of course the rooms, bathrooms, and beds are super clean. Love the fact that the duvet covers are laundered everyday. I also love the extra pillows on the bed. Hot tea, coffee, and cold water are available 24/7 in the lobby as well as baskets of fruit. Such great amenities here.

Always a good stay. 3 hot tubs and a heated out door pool.

This particular Hampton Inn needs some tender loving care. It seems to be older, a/c did not work properly in any of our rooms. (we stayed in late june and early july 2015). I was able to fix the a/c myself after talking with the maintenance man when trying to fix the unit in the first room. My husband used the gym in June and found it to be littered with paper etc. When he went back to use the gym in early July, the same debris was in the same place. The light fixtures in the common area are dirty with dust. Though we were relocated on our second visit, the room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. When we stayed in this same hotel several years ago, we experienced some of the same issues. C'mon Hampton Inn, we know you can do better.

This is twice I've stayed in this hotel in just over a month, not likely to anytime soon again, last time the breakfast was not all put out till it was almost closed (we'll see what the morning brings). This time my room was "upgraded", RIGHT! I've had bigger bathroom stalls in Wal-mart than this bathroom, and the room is barely big enough for the bed, but hey, it has a gas fireplace! And the bed. Well, it's like trying to sleep on a sheet of plywood, the "desk" had no place to plug in my laptop along with no work space, no, it'll be awhile before I do this to myself again.

Thank you for our recent stay. When I enquired about our booking I said we look for "clean, quiet and comfortable" And that is exactly what you provided. From General Manager to housekeeping staff everyone was welcoming, friendly, professional or — as many housekeeping staff members are — demure, friendly and polite. I really liked the hotel's layout — a large Reception area (on the 2nd floor) with comfortable leather seating and good breakfast area. The 3rd floor efficiencies (where we stayed) are not on a corridor but have individual stairs to each room from 2nd floor — adding to the feeling of privacy. Our room overlooked US40 (behind a stand of trees) but almost nothing could be heard of traffic. The A/C worked well and was quiet. Good breakfast with an all-day supply of coffees. The hotel is about a mile and a half from downtown, there's a bus service (didn't use it) for those who do not want to drive. Across the railroad track is a walking and biking trail leading to Botanic Park. (I like trains and a morning stroll) The trip was to celebrate a wedding anniversary and we were delighted to see a vase of flowers in our room and welcome letter signed by all the staff. That was a really nice touch. Thank you, Diane, for arranging it. And well done, Charlie, for being a first class Front Desk Clerk.

This place is doing things right, period. It's nice to see a very attentive and friendly family run staff and it was a pleasure getting to know everyone there. The hotel was very clean, and for the amount of snow it gets, the hallways are not wet and moldy like some other ski resort hotels. The hot tubs were very clean, and very HOT! Which was great after snowboarding all day. The free 5 minute shuttle to Steamboat Resort ran all day and was on call, just call the number and they'll come pick you up. Certainly looking forward to staying here again next year.

The hotel staff was the warmest and most inviting people on our stay. The manager and front desk of the hotel always engaged in conversation with us and the children. Their interest was genuine and they even gave my son cupcakes for his soon-to-be birthday! Super friendly, comfy rooms, great beds, and I love that my room had a fireplace in it. It felt very homey. We used all of the facilities. Hot tub, pool, and the van services. And we were not disappointed once. The best stay for our money hands down. I would stay at the Steamboat Hampton Inn again and would recommend it to all of my family and friends.

We were so impressed with the service we received at our last stay that we felt the need to write and say ‘thank you’! We stayed at your hotel in Steamboat Springs for 3 nights over July 7th – 9th. We arrived late on the 7th, and after initially checking our room, returned to the front desk because we thought we have booked a room with a fridge and microwave. The front desk clerk (I think his name was Nick) was so friendly and upgraded us to a room to accommodate our request. In fact, with interacted with this same gentlemen several times and he was always extremely friendly and accommodating in providing us tourist activities, directions, and information. We were also extremely impressed with the continental breakfast and the wonderful service provided by the lady who cooked the food and maintained the spread. She went out of her way to be friendly and talk with our children, and even held breakfast over for a few minutes on our last day as we were a little late coming to breakfast. Also, one night we returned late, with the kids running to the front desk expecting and asking for cookies. Instead of turning them away, the front desk clerk offered to bake a batch and personally call our room when they were finished (which he did! ). These gestures of customer service stand out remarkably against other hotels we have visited, and we want to thank you for your wonderful service.

Hotel is really cheap during "mud season". It's between the highway and the railroad, but I still slept good. Rooms are big and clean. 20-30 min walk to the center of town, might want to get a ride or car.
