This room was clean and mind blowing. Not to mention the surrounding scenery. I didn’t expect it to be so spacious for the price that I paid. Two balconies, lots of amenities, and close to the shopping areas. Definitely staying here again.

It has just about everything you need to have a memorable visit. You choose your own activities or ones that they provide for you. They have a wonderful shuttle that is available to you. The staff if very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and they even provide firewood and fire starters for you to use. I would highly recommend staying here.

So far so good, we are having a really good time. Awesome view.

It's a beautiful resort that has the Marriott feel … quality and clean. The view from our room is amazing. Currently relaxing poolside!

The Evergreen units have been recently refurbished and they are wonderful. The resort has an excellent staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful. I like the fact that Streamside is located away from the busy center of Vail but is close enough to allow for frequent visits provided by their free shuttle service. I recommend the Marriott Streamside.

We have stayed in many Marriott timeshares and have always been impressed and very happy with the accommodations. This is not the case this time. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. However, the gentleman in the office looked at us like we had three heads when we asked if there was a concierge to book our activities. He also made us feel like we were bothering him with our questions. Definitely not what we are used to with Marriott properties. On top of all that we were given a room close to the highway with no balcony, the hot tub and grill areas were being renovated and the highway noise was not acceptable. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, so this is quite disappointing!

Excellent stay. Room was very clean and remodeled. View was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Stayed during the summer. Rooms are clean and very nice. Location is fantastic in West Vail, and the resort is pretty quiet. The pool and hot tub were both nice as well. Front desk staff is friendly and they even have board games to check out.

I have slipped and slipped to do this review, because the staff is awesome, they got grills, nice place and all night pool (billards), but in The side of a mountain, not my style. I am sure if it is, you will like or love it. The beer tasting is just that, taste. And sorry but Colorado breweries suck, but it was a great time for the family.

The most beautiful property! Lots of wildlife and a gorgeous creek with comfortable chairs and a grill. There is a pool and a few hot tubs! The rooms are adorable and spacious. They have free shuttles that can take you into town in about ten minutes. They run every 30 minutes making it very easy to get on go into town for a bit and come back without having to wait for too long. There are also tons of activities near the resort for people of all ages to enjoy from the scenic gondola rides to the amusement parks. One of the best trips I have ever taken.

Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Our room seemed nicer than the pics on the site like it had been recently renovated. Only complaint would be the pools. They need an area for smaller kids.

I love it here. I had a good week here, and would recommend it as a great resort. Marriott has some great properties!

Loved all the amenities at our disposal including the racquet ball court, gym, steam room, sauna, game room, and pools. Theres a calendar of events which, when I was there, included a beer tasting, wine and cheese tasting, and smoothie bar. The complementary bus into town was also fantastic. You grab your gear and go! Short drive to the lifts and gondolas. It's really convenient to have the snowboarding and ski rental facility in the main building too. The bus has spots for the gear by the way. The desk staff weren't overly welcoming and warm but they were not rude either. So that's whatever. The room itself was quite nice and roomy, enough so for a few people to relax comfortably. The pull out couch was surprisingly nice to sleep on and the main bedrooms bed was super plush. I really think the full kitchen is super nice for longer stays. Now you can meal plan your stay with the shuttles sometimes running to the local grocery store. I will say, I'm glad they had a portable humidifier in the room, I really needed it being from Florida. Our room had two TV's, a balcony and a fireplace, which were super nice to utilize. Two bathrooms made it a breeze to get ready in the morning. 4 people would be fine in a room here. I really enjoyed my stay. The ski lockers are located at the bottom of this building so you can grab and go straight to the shuttle, which goes into town to the lifts. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience.

Although the room is very nice, in our short time here we have been rather disappointed in the customer service at the resort. Check-in is at 4:00. We arrived at 4:00 and checked in promptly. We were given the resort activities and discovered that there is a kids night tonight (Friday) and inquired about enrolling our three children. They told us that sign up had to be done by 3:00pm. This seems odd and inconvenient since check in isn’t until 4:00 pm. We asked if it was full, they told us no. But, they needed time to order the pizza and snacks. The kids night doesn’t start until 6:00 pm. We offered to provide food for our children, they still refused. Unfortunately, there isn’t another kids night until Tuesday and we check out on Monday. If you are looking to utilize this resort because of their advertised kids club. Be advised to call in advance, to make sure that you can partake in the activities.

Shuttle service was great into Vail for skiing and restaurants. Front desk was very helpful with everything we needed from restaurant recommendations, extra towels, church times, and more. They absolutely made each of us feel very valuable and that it was no problem to assist us. Activities for the kids and adults were fun and amenities kept everyone busy (pool table, ping pong, hot tubs, pool, s'mores, etc. ).

It is a very nice, clean, hotel. It is very close to the ski resorts. Close to shops. Great stay!

Beautiful… staff is helpful and accommodating… gorgeous views… local food is good … prices a bit steep as to be expected at a resort… but the shuttle drivers are incredible… had a great time!

Quaint relaxing place just a little far from the action. Came during the summer and it's an enjoyable reprieve.

The rooms are nice the only downfall is no a/c! But the hotel is nice and there a lot of activities for kids and some for adults as well!

No secure Wi-Fi for guests, paper thin walls, and no ac/temp control through any of the summer months. The beds are stiff and uncomfortable; added with the fact that the rooms are either hot all day and night, or super cold when you use the provided fans, this is not a place I would ever recommend. It's a wonder anyone can sleep here.

The hotel is very enjoyable and is tidy. The beds are comfortable will lots of fluffy pillows.

I was here for a business event, and this was a great hotel. The location was very accessible, and the atmosphere very comfortable. They even had cookies and lemonade in the lobby for a great refreshment.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cedar. Friendly, responsive and quick staff from top to bottom. Easy, helpful and comfortable shuttle service and drivers. Clean, comfortable, large and very convenient for our ski/board family vacation.

We had the most amazing time, with warm staff and the rooms were great. Perfect get away to see my best friends. We got tons of snow and loved every minute of it. My best memory is going to the outdoor hot tub while in a blizzard. Nothing like the cold flakes melting g on your warm face. Thank you Streamside Marriott we will be back!

Overall the accommodations we have at Marriott’s Streamside Birch at Vail is not what we have come to expect from Marriott. Unfortunately we have accommodations booked at Marriott’s Streamside Douglas at Vail on 9/23/16. If there was a way we could get out of that upcoming reservation we would. The only upside to our stay is the staff. Before we unpacked, Julian did everything he could to get us other accommodations, with no success.
We requested a high floor when we made the reservation, but at the check-in desk they gave us a room on the first floor.
The hall and room has an odor.
The shower looks like it came out of a motel, and the first night we ran out of hot water.
The toilet seat is worn.
All of the carpet needs to be replaced (stained). It doesn’t look like this room has been renovated in years.
The so called “Villa” has no King bed (which we also requested), no in room washer/dryer, no balcony, no plugs on the night stand, and only one night stand (between the two beds). What we have looks more like a studio than a one bedroom.
Someone spilled coffee in front of the ground floor elevator a couple of days ago, and it has never been cleaned.
In summary, the accommodations we had at Residence Inn Wichita East at Plazzio was much, much better than what we have at Marriott’s Streamside Birch at Vail.

In all the years I have been staying at Marriot this has to be one of worst experiences I have ever had! I am sitting in a hotel with no power typing this and when I asked if I could change hotels and be credited back for this night their response was "we will work with you" REALLY? I think the answer should be absolutely! Just be prepared if you stay here, the place is dated and also very loud from the highway 70. The two good things I can say about this place is the concierge and the room service was great! Other than that I compare these accommodations to a 2 star hotel. You can tell their staff isn't properly trained on company policy but they are very polite. I can say this stay did help me make our decision NOT to be a Marriot Vacation Club owner!
