Great place. Loved the room. Great service.

Lady at the front desk was rude, snippy, and condescending. Seemed upset when I asked is they had a room on first floor. She said "This is not the time to ask" and something about making a reservation on booking. Com. Bathrooms are extremely small.

The owners are very welcoming and nice, the rooms are also well maintained and spacious. And the view! It’s a great spot to get away to. 10/10, we will be back.

Great people, beautiful property, close to downtown but quiet.

We had room 5 with a king bed. It was very clean and you could walk to downtown Estes Park from the hotel. The owners were wonderful. I would definitely stay at the Maxwell Inn again.

I had a great stay at the Maxwell Inn. The room was very nice and I had no problems with anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Everything that I planned on doing was very close to the hotel. It is in a perfect location to access Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. I would absolutely recommend the Maxwell Inn to anyone looking to stay in Estes Park.

Love the Maxwell Inn! We come here every year and enjoy ourselves every time! The owners are very friendly and always helpful and the rooms are clean with great views! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Estes.

We stayed at the Maxwell Inn for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. One of cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in and you can tell that they’ve done a lot to update everything including the bathroom. The staff is so friendly and so are the elk herds that pass through by your window. We plan on staying here every time we come back to Estes Park. Side note, the photos online do not do this hotel justice. It’s immaculate. Not to mention affordable.

Visited Estes Park for a weekend get away, and we stayed at The Maxwell Inn. The location was perfect being just on the edge of town. The staff was helpful and the room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this place to others.

Perfect place to stay and relax after a long day in the park. It's very clean and looks new. Also includes a continental breakfast that's quick for when you're on the go.

We absolutely loved staying here because the rooms were cozy very clean centrally located downtown old Estes Park. Close enough to all the action without all the noise. Antonio’s New York pizzeria is across the street so very spot for food And just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park … The ladies at the front desk were always very accommodating to getting me anything that I needed We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous place to stay! Beautiful landscaped, quaint little inn nestled in the heart of Estes. Just a short way to the main shopping street and one of a kind restaurants and pubs. The outdoor fire pit is a great way to enjoy the mountain air at the end of a busy day. We had a party of 7 and the owner/manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. I highly recommend this little jewel and hope to visit it again one day in the near future.

Great clean new rooms! I was pleasantly surprised, the rooms are new and smell wonderful. The bathroom is small but what all do you need to do in the bathroom anyway? I'll take a small bathroom with a beautiful clean room with great beds any day compared to some others. Plus we saw elk hanging out :)

We just stayed one night, but it was great! The room was lovely and clean; the bed and pillows were comfortable; the complimentary toiletries were a decent size for more than one use; and I just loved that we had an actual key for the room and not a card. It’s very easy to find, and an easy distance from the shops. We will definitely stay here again!

A fantastic place to stay near downtown and the park entrance. The room was large, very new (4 rooms are in a new building), clean and extremely comfortable. The owners live on site and the quality, service and pride of ownership shine through. Dana and her family were a joy to meet. Would recommend to anyone!

Stayed here for our 25th Anniversary. Besides a cozy & relaxing environment, Dana, the owner, bought a bouquet of flowers and left them in our room! It was such a thoughtful surprise! Easy walk but just enough outside of the town center to feel away from the crowd. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Maxwell's for a wonderful anniversary week!

I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to stay in Estes Park, Colorado. The family that runs this Inn is kind, considerate, and accommodating. The facilities themselves are beautiful and relaxing. I had the opportunity to stay here for 2 nights, and the fire pit and hot tub were excellent ways to end the day. If I'm ever in Estes Park again, I will definitely book another stay here!

The staff at the Maxwell were very helpful with any questions we had and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is good being just a little out of town central with an easy walk into town. I highly recommend this place to travelers.

Owners are very rude. I wouldn't stay here. Your response proved my point. You twisted the story to make you seem righteous. We didn't see any sign that said we couldn't park. Once you came out and told us we couldn't park there, we immediately got back in the car to move it. We politely asked if you knew of a better place to park, which you rudely responded: "Go ask the business you are visiting. " So apparently, you are only nice to people who give you money. I think there's a term for that…

Nice, cozy inn with great hosts and clean rooms. The breakfast is simple (cereal, yoghurt, apples, etc. ), but exactly what we wanted before hiking in the Rockies.

This place was great! My wife and I booked it on a whim and were not disappointed. We had Elk grazing at night in the field next to it and its right accross the street from the best pizza place in town. If you are looking for a clean hotel room that fits your budget then this place is great!

Basic but clean and included free breakfast. Within walking distance of downtown Estes park (about 1/2 mile away).

My friend and I stayed here for two nights and we loved it! The staff were so friendly and truly took the time to tell us about the town and park. The rooms were very clean and neat. I truly felt like I was staying at home instead of a hotel. Highly recommend if you want a cute and cozy place to stay.

My husband and I booked a room for a one night stay and it was amazing! Definitely satisfied with staff! Rooms were comfortable. Views are fantastic! Location was very convenient! Movies were available to borrow. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, I'm definitely be back!

If you want to be treated like you are the only guest on the property, the Maxwell Inn is for you! Extremely gracious and attentive couple own/operate the Inn and they truly are interested in your satisfaction. The patio was a great place to relax and offered several tables as well as a hot tub and fire pit. I'll be back and I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place.

We had in impromptu vacation to Estes Park and arrived in town with no reservation. We discovered the Maxwell Inn and it met all our criteria: Breakfast, Family Friendly, Clean/New, Comfortable and Reasonably priced. The Inn keepers are young, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. The room was recently remodeled floor to ceiling and it appeared no expense was spared. The building is an older, quaint, structure which adds to the ambiance. I give it an excellent rating not because it was a high end hotel but because our experience there was excellent. The accommodations at Maxwell Inn did not detract from but rather contributed to the success of our vacation.

The attention to detail was above and beyond anything we could have expected. A very precious couple owning and operating the Inn. Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk from Downtown on the main street. We will definitely return every time we are in Estes Park.
