Really enjoyed our stay. We spent 2 nights at a historic expensive hotel the days before and Wished we would have spent all 3 nights at silver moon. From the check in experience to the fire and s’mores this place is a vibe.

We just spent a few days and can't wait to come back. Everything was perfect including staff, location, room and the weather 🙂

We just got home from a wonderful weekend at Silver Moon! You guys never disappoint. My husband and I brought my mother and sister-in-law. They were so impressed with the guys at the front desk and all of the personal touches from the fire pits to the s’mores to the honest restaurant recommendations. This is our second year at Silver Moon, we will never stay anywhere else for our yearly elk watching weekend. Thank you!

The location and atmosphere is fantastic. Close enough to walk through town and just a short drive to RMNP. Terrific breakfast included makes for a great value. On top of all that was the great service! Chad was responsive, friendly and a ball of energy. I can’t wait to come back and stay for a full week.

We go every year. It is by far the best place to stay in Estes Park! Awesome staff, comfy rooms, yummy breakfast, smores, pool, short walk to town and best of all the river front tables and chsirs! You will love it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms were clean. The staff was amazing (especially the guy at the front desk who went out of his way to celebrate random holidays like Root Beer Float Day while we were there). The location can’t be beat. There isn’t a single bad thing I can say about this place. We loved coming back after a long day and sitting outside and enjoying the complimentary s’mores and listening to the water. We will absolutely stay here in the future. Thanks for making our vacation great!

Fabulous place to stay. Roomy. Comfortable. The outside amenities are the kicker — bench swings by the water; wood fire pits for roasting marshmallows; gas fire sitting area. It’s a beautiful place great location close to town and with free parking. Also very friendly staff.

Had the most wonderful stay at Silver Moon Inn. The staff was amazing, our two room suite was amazing, the view was amazing. Not a single complaint. Estes Park is such a great little town. Me and my family will attend again and again. 5 stars does no justice.

This place is so relaxing! It’s within walking distance of all the shops, which is a bonus. We love hearing the sounds of the river outside our room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home. The breakfast food is great, and we loved the snack basket and the s’mores. Yummy! We’ve stayed here twice and will certainly be back. Thank you, Silver Moon for an excellent experience!

We really liked our stay here. Staff was helpful by carrying our bags to 3D floor. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was filling, the location was convenient for walking to town or driving into park, and the Fall River running by added to the ambience.

We visited over Labor Day weekend and were so happy with our choice of hotels. GREAT location on the river and one block from town. Loved the fire pits and s’mores, nice breakfasts and ample parking. Room was very nice and the staff was great; a special shout out to Joseph who was especially wonderful. We hope to come back with our grandkids sometime.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful view out front of the stream and rock climbing about 200 feet to the West. Very convenient spot right on the edge of down town. Grills out front for guests to use during thier stays. Beds were some of the most comfortable I have stayed on at any hotel. Breakfast was pretty decent but was hoping for more choices. Overall very happy with our 3 night stay.

This place is stunning! So incredibly beautiful and sits right on the river! The staff went WAY beyond expectations for being accommodating even finding me a charger for my iPhone. This was a spur of the moment stay when we saw they had availability. It is within easy and close access to main street and all the fun as well as the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We have found our “piece of heaven” in Estes Park and have already booked a room for October this year!

Great place we stay here every year. Lots of simple amenities, VERY friendly staff, beautiful setting, and you can walk anywhere in town.

The best place to stay at in Estes Park extremely recommend it. The service and rooms are excellent. The staff is amazing.

This was my favorite Estes Park lodging until recently. The staff is great, location is close to downtown, and the rooms are good. My issue came with a Saturday check in for two nights and having to switch rooms for our second night. The room we were switched to was the exact same type of room about 6 doors down. Why wasn't the new guests just given the room we had to move to instead of moving us to a new identical room. No explanation was provided and it didn't make since. Tonight I was attempting to make another reservation for another 2 night stay and was told no unless I wanted to make it a 3 night stay. Again doesn't make since and will be looking for a new favorite place. If you are traveling to Estes and planning a trip for 3 nights then I would recommend this place and hopefully you dont get the musical room treatment.

We stay at Silver Moon at least once every summer. Beautiful place by the river, nice, clean rooms and the staff are awesome. So convenient, park in their private lot and walk down town. Best lodging in Estes.

The location of this In is perfect. You can literally walk to anyplace. The rooms are very clean, and small fresh. The staff is very accommodating! There are plenty of things for the kids to do, playground, fire pits for smores, swimming pool, and best of all the river runs right through the property.

Amazing! Everything was above expectations. All hotel staff, especially the manager, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Great location along the river and close to downtown and the park entrances. Rooms were spacious, very clean & comfortable. Free breakfast, access to grills and picnic tables, and ingredients to make s’mores were all very nice accommodations to have. Would HIGHLY recommend to others.

Loved the Silver Moon Inn. The staff were helpful and responsive; from providing change for the laundry room (great amenity for an active summer trip) to immediately fixing a burnt out light in the hall. The room was large and well appointed, including a mini kitchen. Bath and Body Works toiletries were appreciated. Best of all though? The river right in front of the hotel with wooden seat swings for relaxing, grills if you want to cook out, a gazebo and fire pits as well as the fixings for smores! Would love to come back some day!

I stayed here recently with my mom and sister and we loved it. The staff members are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are wonderful… great decor. The Fall River runs through the grounds. There are fire pits and seating on the banks which makes for a nice, relaxing experience. They offer a wide selection for the continental breakfast and s'mores in the evening. A bonus is that you can walk to the Estes Park shops from the hotel. I can't wait to return!

Great location, not too close to the main Downtown Estes strip to be loud, but close enough to walk in to do some shopping or get a bite to eat. They had some nice outdoor seating along the river, and good parking. My room was clean and comfortable, I would absolutely stay here again.

We've stayed in Estes a few times now but this is our first stay at the Silver Moon Inn. Never having stayed here before we didn't know what to expect but I must say this is a great establishment and our stay has surpassed expectations! The staff especially Chad have been gracious, outgoing, helpful and are truly there to serve their guests. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, our daughter enjoyed the playground equipment and the outdoor fire pits by the river are a very nice touch. If you're considering a stay in Estes I would highly recommend this little jewel nestled in the Rockies!

The staff was amazing. The rooms are paid out kind of strange. I thought it was weird too that there wasnt fan in the bathroom. Overall, I liked it.

My family and I have stayed at the Silver Moon Inn on a few visits to Estes Park, Colorado and have loved each stay… I've just neglected to write a proper review until now. The first time we stayed it was just as a drive-by and "Hey, that place looks nice. " We've returned to them every time we've stayed in Estes Park since. As an example, on one of our Autumn drives, we determined we'd be going through Estes again and couldn't get a room through the online system for whatever reason. I called them up and was immediately put in touch with a manager who recognized us as previous patrons and got us a room immediately. That sort of personal service seems very rare today. The rooms are simple and clean… the staff super friendly and accommodating… the atmosphere, really nice. The hotel sits right on the river that flow through Estes and is walking distance to all of Estes Park and the downtown area with its many shops. They have fire pits by the river and provide firewood and S'Mores ingredients upon request and it all just provides for a very relaxing evening… especially with little ones. Estes Park is a gem in and of itself… the Silver Moon Inn is a gem within a gem. Highly recommend this establishment for their prices, their friendliness, and their accommodations!

My son and I had a great time. Our room exceeded our expectations. The fireplace, the view, the patio, comfy beds. The complimentary s’mores & firewood were a plus.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Silver Moon. The room we stayed in was a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen (room 100). The room was clean & roomy. The beds were comfy and the comforters were so soft. Our room also had a gas fireplace making for nice ambience on those chilly Colorado nights. Our room even had it's own private patio area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free Continental breakfast was adequate, but I'd have preferred real half & half for the coffee rather than the fake creamer. The hot tub was open but the pool was not as we visited in March. The location was great. The hotel is on the north end of the main street within easy walking distance to shops & restaurants. We were also treated to seven mule deer walking down the road right outside our front door. The price was reasonable for what you get. We'd stay here again and recommend it to others. The only negatives, and these are very minor, were a lack of places to hang dish and bathroom towels, no serving bowls in the kitchen, and the shower was small.

We loved this place. The staff were very friendly. The location was great (very close to the shopping area — walking distance), and the rooms were very clean and large enough for a family, beautiful view and a beautiful river right next to the hotel. I recommend this place, we will be coming back to this place during the summer time again…

We stayed on the first floor of the hotel in one of the kong bedrooms. The room was large with a nice chair, comfortable bed, and even a small couch/day bed. There was an electric fireplace that we could have used if it was colder. The shower head was a bit loose, and sprayed water when I turned it on, but was a quick fix of tightening it by hand. The river was the vest part of the stay. Walking out of the room to the river babbling right outside was peaceful. The only thing that was unfortunate was the bits of trash stuck in the river and ice. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Whole a bit overpriced in our opinion, I would still choose to stay here again.

Staying here was a very good idea it's located at the end of the 'strip 'stores. Some fine restaurants were within just a block or two of the room. Would stay here again without hesitation. Loved the sitting areas outside the rooms.

Nice hotel. No big negatives but room could use table for eating or work, door opens more easily than it closes and could have used more towels since we used the hot tub. Large and clean room was great, staff was great and helpful. Overall nice place.

Great young people working the desk and very accommodating. One of the three bedroom rooms, 200, needs to have the couches replaced as they were very very uncomfortable to sit on. That room was also pretty warm, even with a window open on a cold winter's night. The two bedroom we went back to was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay with them. The people that work there are there most important asset, very customer oriented. We would go back.

This is a very nice and clean place. It sits on a creek and right on the edge of Estes Park so you can walk to all the shops downtown. If you want to go to Rocky Mountain National Park, just go in the other direction. The staff here will treat you well. They give good continental breakfast and s'mores in the evenings (at least during the winter time. )

Very friendly and helpful staff. Docked a star because the breakfast has gotta change. It's just prepackaged muffins, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. Oh and cereal. There were bagels, but they were depleted each time I checked. Bananas looked beat. Would be great to have another fruit option. So much packaging. Do the earth a favor and get reusable dishware and full size containers of peanut butter, cream cheese, etc. Also glasses and full size juice would be better than those teeny juice boxes. Please also provide the nice reusable mugs available in the rooms in the lobby to use for coffee.

Stayed here in October for a sister get-away. Last minute and I'm really glad they had a room available. We reserved the deluxe double queen and really enjoyed the room. Nice big room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace and nice sized bathroom. Clean room. The beds were comfortable and we slept well due to the quiet and comfort. Reservation was easy on the phone with a very polite person. Check in was also easy. Fresh coffee and tea bags in the lobby; ice in the laundry room. Everything we wanted was there! They even had a wine bottle opener since we had forgotten ours!
We didn't use the hot tub, but there were several people enjoying the tub on the chilly night. Heard a dog barking early in the evening, but fortunately that didn't continue.
Breakfast was continental in the lobby. So-so. Nothing exciting. They were out of hard boiled eggs when we got down there so no protein for us. More fruit would be nice also.
Nice clean facility with friendly staff — great value. I highly recommend this inn and hope to return.

Had a great experience at Silver Moon. Reasonable rates. Friendly staff, clean rooms, our little guy loved the S'mores. Not the Ritz Carlton, but who comes to Estes Park to spend all day in a hotel? Would definitely stay here again. Compliments to the management & staff, thanks for the great stay!

Excellent experience from initial phone call to check out. Chad, the manager couldn't have been more helpful or friendly on the phone when I called to inquire about booking. He got us the most gorgeous room on the 3rd floor with beautiful mountain views on three sides, and windows that looked down on the river. It's a beautiful property situated at the end of downtown closer to the park entrance; perfect for strolling to all the shops and restaurants, but quiet and out of the tourist crowd. We loved Ann at the front desk, who was as sweet as she could be and provided us with lots of helpful info for our stay. Added bonus: the sweetest tasting cold mountain water from the drinking fountain in the office… I couldn't get enough of it! I will stay here again and again.

We just got back from Estes and couldn't write a review quick enough. We stayed at Silver Moon Inn while we were there and it completely added to our entire experience. Our two queen room was cozy and clean. It overlooked the river (the sound of running water! ) which was nice and it's in very close proximity to downtown. Fires and swings by the river and coffee and hot cocoa always waiting for you in the lobby. The staff, particularly Chad, were all so wonderful and it is so evident they take pride in where they work and what they do. I'll miss our nightly smores by the fire. So good! We can't wait to be back. Thanks for the wonderful time.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Estes. The river view rooms are great. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. And, the little extras they provide are a nice touch. Fires in the riverside fire pits, popcorn, coffee, s'mores and quick and easy breakfast. On these end of the strip of Estes so not much traffic. Yet, only a 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. I stay here every time I'm in Estes park.

Friendly staff. Nice room. Nice outside amenities. You can sit by the river by a campfire, very relaxing. Close to downtown. You can walk to everything. I recommend and would return.

The room was very nice. Sitting outside with a glass of wine around a fire pit in the evening is outstanding. They supply the wood and even start the fire for you. Also, it is only 1 block from downtown Estes Park, Co. And about 5 or 6 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.

This place was perfect for what we we're looking for. Close to town, right on the river. Plus it was the little touches that won our heart. The campfires, the s'mores, the tea/coffee station and even a laundry room! It was a very clean room, very clean place overall and the staff were all very welcoming and cheerful. I would highly recommend.

The Silver Moon Inn is located within a short walk of the main boulevard, and close to many restaurants and attractions. The room was extremely clean and contained all the amenities listed when we booked. The view from our room and balcony is extraordinary, looking out onto a small river. The Inn provides plenty of outdoor seating. Breakfast is a good continental style breakfast. Grills are available. Extremely relaxing, wife and I have no complaints.

We had a great time at the Silver Moon Inn. One of the most important and overlooked things so often at hotels are the beds, but this inn does not spare this expense. The beds are extremely comfortable and we had spectacular sleep both nights here. The location is beautiful, literally right next to the river. They have so many extra things such as fire pits with chairs, gazebo seating, a small patio with heaters, a lobby with popcorn made fresh each night, and a simple, but tasty breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful, and always stopped to help with anything, or just chat and give a nice conversation. The location is also perfect, being a short walk from being able to start on one side of downtown Estes and walk the whole thing without having to worry about parking. This is an excellent choice for a wonderful town!

Our new favorite place to stay in Estes Park. Conveniently located to town, spacious room with private patio, the river running outside our room with seating, fire pits and grills available. Really they have thought of everything to make our stay special and we will definitely be returning.

We recently stayed 4 nights at The Silver Moon Inn. The experience was excellent. The beds were so comfortable… better than our Tempurpedic at home. The housekeeping staff was excellent. Our room and bathroom was spotless. We will return again and bring the whole family.

This is not a 5 star hotel in terms of luxury, but it's definitely a very relaxing place. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable hotel to wind down and relax, I definitely recommend this one. The rooms are Spartan but clean, with renovated bathrooms; there is a river flowing through the property with places to sit, relax and read a good book. There are also a couple of places to BBQ if you so feel inclined, and free s'mores in the evening. The hotel is also at walking distance from shops and restaurants. Finally, the staff is courteous and attentive, and there is free bottled water and popcorn.

The Silver Moon is now one of my favorite Estes Park hotels. The customer service is top notch. The rooms are super clean and smell fresh (Im a stickler about smells). The front desk hosts Jonny and Steven went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay a enjoyable one. I had a small issue with my fire place and they came running to assist. All in all I recommend this hotel!

Good and central location — rooms and furniture a little outdated, but still ok.

This was our 2nd stay here and we like it very much for a lot of reasons and most importantly the location. We love sitting by the stream and having a place that doesn't have outrageous pet fees and policies. I didn't like the bed last year but got a different room this time and the bed was great!

Fist night stay for our Honeymoon. My lovely wife and I spent our first night here on our honey moon. The Staff is friendly and helpful, and the city is right at the door step. Such a lovely spot to stay and enjoy Estes.

Amazing weekend getaway! We stayed here in April and it was perfect. The place was clean and staff was polite and friendly. We thought the pricing was incredibly cheap. We have stayed at many hotels that were lame for double the money of this one.

Plesent experience The room was large and roomy, the fire place was a nice touch. The staffs was very friendly, and nice. Enjoyed the fire pits by the stream very relaxing.

Perfect experience, perfect view, perfect rooms — not so perfect breakfast. The rooms are large and the beds are too comfortable. The sounds of the creek, and the view, are too amazing to look at and sit by. Even the extra firewood to relax by in the evening is a perfect touch. The only thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast. I was expecting a little more besides toast, Eggo waffles, yogurt, and fruit when it came to the price, though. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone. It's within walking distance, and is great for all seasons.

The Silver Moon Inn is nice and quiet, with good rooms and a peaceful location. A stream flows by right outside, and the property has common areas along it to relax. Sometimes elk will wander through the parking lot, which is cool to see. Not far from food and shopping.

The first night we were there, the staff put on a free BBQ which was great, fun and allowed us to meet others who were staying there. Our room was clean, very nice, and just steps away from a small creek. Unfortunately, our stay was short due to a robbery at our house. We had to leave two days early. The staff was very helpful, allowed us to leave early (without penalty) and extended their compassion to us. The next time we go to Estes Park (and we will return), we will stay at he Silver Moon Inn.

Stayed at Silver Moon over the weekend with husband and kids. Room heater didn't work to well, called desk and they brought up extra blankets and a space heater, plus fixed the room heater. Also staff was very helpful and so nice! We had left important medicine there and they didn't hesitate in mailing it to us. Would highly recommend! They also got Smores for the kids for the fire pit. Just can't say enough good things! Thank you Silver Moon.

Will stay at Nicky's next time. Too expensive just for downtown parking. Good location but avg accommodations.

We LOVED this place! We went for a little couples weekend and loved that it was located right in town and super close to shops and restaurants. We also loved the riverside fire pits and hot tubs. The rooms were beautiful (we chose the king suite in the new bldg) and beds were very comfortable. Beautiful, quiet and even the staff was great! We will be back.
