NOT A SAFE PLACE! Housekeeping knocked and entered our room at 5:30 AM! I went to the front desk and, Michael, the guy there said "What do you want me to do about it, obviously it was an accident. " So instead of still being asleep I am writing this review. I still have adrenaline from being startled awake from some stranger trying to enter our room and I will not be properly rested for our next planned day of travel to our next hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Love the place and the rooms are very clean but most of all very quiet at night when sleeping…

I’m so on the fence with this! This location was wonderful — there also happens to be a sidewalk path that your dogs can enjoy a wonderful walk on. And I guess it’s my mistake, but since LQ was bought out now they charge $20 per dog? I always leave my rooms spotless and I always tip housekeeping. This is a smack in the face to us who travel with dogs and so the same. Aloft still doesn’t charge and they give welcome kits. LQ charges and it’s no difference then before it was bought by Wyndham.

Front Desk was amazing! Room was super clean and nice! And the Breakfast was Delicious! Eggs were just right and Bacon was perfect! Will stay again.

Not up to La Quinta standards. Asked for extra washcloths… had to enter in a log book, I guess to make sure we didn’t rip them off. Room was nice and fairly new but bed sheet was DISGUSTING. Looked like some honeymooners slept there the night before and they didn’t change the sheets. My wife was so grossed out that she put down a towel and tried to sleep but didn’t get much. Something that obvious made us wonder about everything else in the hotel. Not a pleasant stay.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. It’s right by the bike path and near the highway but still very quiet. Beds are comfortable and new. Our dog said it’s the best lodging in Rifle.

Love it! The gym is great! Extra towels and a water dispenser as well! The rooms are gorgeous and clean and large. Beautiful hotel and no complaints what so ever!

I am really impressed with the quality of the room and the friendly staff! Very comfortable and clean! Great place to stay if you are traveling with a pet!

This hotel may be in the middle of remodel. It did have new sheets and blankets and tile but there were huge holes in the carpet and the room smelled horribly old and dirty. The hallway smelled very bad also. There is a large light in the lobby and it was full of dead bugs. I asked for a different room they said they didn’t have one. My mother slept in the car and refused to stay in the room. Hotel is next to a busy truckstop. I did complain to corporate and they did refund my money. I would stay her again unless it’s 100% full remodeled. I didn’t eat breakfast here due to the room being dirty I was afraid the food area was dirty.

Awesome price and they let us have our pets in the room for free. Great room too with nice flat screen, fridge, and microwave. Bathroom was very nice too.

A very good place to spend the night, vacation, or just a getaway. The rooms are very spacious and super clean, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Amazing reception staff! They were always very attentive Mike the manager super friendly and respectful. It deserves more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

I called ahead to confirm rooms were remodeled and front desk assured me they were. Our room had carpet stains, saggy mattress, and threadbare sheets with holes in the sides. At checkout this morning I explained that we selected this location because I was told it was remodeled and the clerk informed me that they have only done bathrooms so far and I shouldn't have been told that. She then told me next time my experience will be better because they will be done with the remodel! There won't be a next time at this location for me… they didn't even apologize!

Very nice place and very quiet. Loves it. A little pricey. But worth it.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The rooms were lovely and modern, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent along with the Wi-Fi speed and the location right off I70 was perfect as it was just a place to crash for the night on a road trip. Would most definitely recommend to a friend and stay there again!

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and was not satisfied at all the room was not cleaned well, there was no information book in the room like there is in most hotels that gives you local restaurants that deliver or local attractions. The staff said that my card would not be charged and then was even though I paid cash for the room and now I have to wait to be reimbursed for up to 14 days was not worth the hassle and will not be staying there again.

Wonderful staff and service. Typical breakfast for hotels. The room was nice and clean. Nice pool and hot tub, except for past guests ruining the jets in the hot tub. Pet friendly.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are in great shape, and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great. They have scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage patties, a variety of cereals, and yogurts.

The worst Wi-Fi ever. I stayed at a lot of hotels and this was the worst for Wi-Fi. Was unable to get work done due to the poor Wi-Fi. Staff was unfriendly. Otherwise, the room was clean and the breakfast adequate.

Only stayed one night but it was a great experience. They offered a military discount (I am retired), the room was nice and it was clean. The hot breakfast in the morning was nothing exceptional, but it was a good breakfast. Overall there's nothing to complain about.

For the visit to the snowy mountains.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable breakfast was shocking! Only one lovely lady for about 100 people trying to have something to eat. When I turned up at 0800 there was no coffee, no eggs, no sausages, only 2 tiny cakes. I worked in catering and know it's tough, but just put another person to help out… so we don't wait 30 minutes. Also dog friendly, well, dogs are allowed let's put it that way. We were told there were many complaints about ours while we were at 'breakfast'. My friends were in the next room and said they heard only one bark. The views are lovely and the area has some places to eat.

Nice holiday decorations Very nice & professional staff even w/ my minor gripe about bathroom — — Mold around tub was cleaned up & manager promised to move rooms/fix caulking. Breakfast is functional. Pool & workout room = good shape. Very comfortable bed & linens.

Overall place is ok. Not my personal first choice but where the boss wants to put us. The whole place smells kind of old and musty (odd the last La Quinta I was at smelled the same) Beds are aging, pillows are old and lumpy. Breakfast offerings could have a little more variety like biscuits/gravy. Having choice of scrambled egg and bacon or sausage EVERY day gets old for those who frequent the place. La Quinta brand overall would be no better than 3rd or 4th choice if traveling for personal reasons. And then probably only if points would cover the stay.

Room was nice. Maid came right in our room at 8 am. Not enough food at the breakfast. Lines waiting for food and they would only bring a little food when they cooked. Took forever to eat breakfast. Desk staff did not add points to our account until we asked twice. I don't know if I would stay at this LaQuinta again.

Young Lady at front desk Remembered my name from earlier today when I came back to check in… Very Impressive Indeed. Hotel room was Spotless and very Comfy. Give them 2 THUMBS Up!

Second time stay at this LQ. Conveniently located. Friendly and professional staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Plenty of dinner opportunities nearby. All good pluses. Best of all is the hot breakfast! None of that "continental" nonsense here. This won't be our last visit.

The Last Quinta in Rifle was very nice. We had gotten a great deal for a room booking ahead of time on our way back from a driving vacation and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were big and well-kept, the staff was friendly, and all the amenities were modern. I would definitely stay there again if I was passing through.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would have given them that. Charges on the room were not what we were told. When I asked the manager told me you used the pool twice and you had breakfast and no one told you anything. Even though while booking the room we were told that breakfast is free and included in the charge. And the pool is an amenity that is also included in the charge. What kind of hotel counts how many times the guests went into the pool and look at their breakfast.

Staff were very kind and friendly. The 2 queens were phenomenal. The beds there were more comfortable then mine at home. Breakfast here was tasty and well prepared. Plenty of space for my dog to sleep. All staff seemed to appreciate the animals presence and not neglect them as I've seen in other hotels. It was a pleasant stay and I will for sure do it again.

Not bad, a fairly average hotel. Service was decent, location was good, rooms were clean and nice, albeit somewhat barebones.

Rates are much more than posted on line. But is a clean place, but can smell the animals that have stayed in room, yet you must go outside to smoke so it's fresh air inside. (? )

The front desk was helpful in getting me and the family situated to include 2 dogs. Small pet area, however it's good enough for them to do their business. Room is clean and well maintained and coffee is brewed all day. The pool was clean and easy to get in and out of. Breakfast ready at 0530 and standard fair acceptable. Good stop for us.

Because it has an excellent service, also features swimming pool, gym, offers breakfast, picnic area and a beautiful view. ;)

We have stayed here several times on business and have always had a pleasant stay up until our last stay. We got charged $100 for a damage deposit because housekeeping said we had smoked in the room. We don't even smoke! Front desk said that she would have the manager call us but as of today we have heard nothing back. We will now have to dispute the charge with our bank and we will be contacting the BBB and our attorney. Don't stay here unless you want bogus charges showing up on your statement and want to pay double for a room!

Room was lovely although part of bathroom required a little attention. Really appreciated the breakfast selection and the attendant in the kitchen was pleasant and helpful. The morning clerk (man with full beard, dark hair, sorry I don't know his name) was awesome and the young lady who took over the desk was pleasant. My issue, and the only reason the rating isn't higher was customer service from the late afternoon-evening front desk clerk. I lost internet reliability on my phone somewhere in KS so couldn't get online to check rates before arriving in Rifle. Let the front desk clerk know and asked how that would affect my rate. He said it wouldn't-they had the same rates. So, I asked for the smallest least expensive room keeping in mind that there were only 5 cars in parking lot. He gave me what I think is called the executive suit claiming it was all that was available. When I got situated in the room and got online using my laptop there were smaller less expensive rooms available. I'm assuming he works on a commission structure? Traveling across country on a budget having been out of work for 2 months, I remain troubled by the deception. Lastly, a guest arriving sometime after me decided to block me in with his monster truck. When I went to get things from the car and found the difficulty I approached the front desk for assistance.

Can't beat it for quiet and cleanliness. For a road stop there's plenty of necessities nearby, without the noise. Desk staff appear batsh%t crazy, but helpful! Housekeeping staff really are good here, no early morning harassment and rooms are impeccable.

Very nice hotel. Clean large rooms with modern feel. Pool is nice and warm with a great hit tub. The staff are very helpful and friendly and take real pride in there work. The Wi-Fi is fantastic.

I visited this La Quinta with my dog, Sienna and found it to be an excellent hotel. The staff were friendly and offered great tips on places to take my dog hiking and suggested excellent restaurants. I loved the walking trail that was located right next to the hotel and the outdoor patio offered beautiful views of Riffle, CO. My bed was so comfortable that I wanted to stay another night or two. The rooms were clean, the pool refreshing, and the TV huge. I enjoyed my stay so much! I highly recommend this hotel and so does my border collie, Sienna!

The owner, Mike, and his team are extremely customer service oriented. This is a first-class property with sparklingly clean rooms. Every aspect of my recent stay was perfect, and I will return to this LaQuinta in the future! Thanks for making my visit a pleasant one.

Not a pleasant stay. Room was not very clean with trash still in trash cans, bed not well made. A no refund for checking out a day early! Manager called saying our dog was howling in the room when we were in the room with her? will most likely not stay at a La Quinta again because of this location.

This is one of the nicest La Quintas that I have stayed at. I travel a lot and prefer La Quinta because they don't charge for my dog, which is such a help financially and they are priced reasonably for their great accommodations. This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. And has a wonderful friendly staff.

Very friendly staff, great free breakfast and our room. The best. We stayed in the 2 room suite with tube and shower. We have paid twice as much for less quality! We were traveling with our standard poodle and there was a great jogging path just out side our door for a good run with the dog. Will keep this one on my list.
