Reviews of Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center 2*
I don't ever leave reviews, but after the amazing service we received when we went down to breakfast both mornings I decided I needed to. We had such great people down there, the Manager Kevin was so amazing with our 2.5 year old! he gave him a toy to play with both mornings we went down for breakfast! Even offered to go grab another one when he realized our youngest (1) was old enough to enjoy toys. They were ready to take plates and clear tables and just so friendly! The front desk people were ok, helped, but were not the friendliest when we checked in. The valet was quick about getting our car up to us when we needed it, I wasn't too happy with the $45 a night to pay for it, but felt better not having to park on the street! I would definitely stay here again mainly because of the way we were treated by the breakfast staff! With 2 kids that makes all the difference in the world!
This one of the best Hotels Greyhound has sent me to, I highly recommend it to anyone and 16th Street Mall is one street over there's alot going on there. Loads of fun and activities in walking distance.
We had to pay 30 dollars for parking and I don't even know if my is safe and we hair on our beds… We were tired so I had clean it myself, so we can get some rest… Front desk clerk was not helpful…
Manager on duty, Blake Williams was very rude, dressed like a person that has no respect, shirt hanging out, clothes dirty, one of the poorest representations of a Hilton brand I have dealt with is my 25 years as a member.
I was a little disappointed by my stay here. I thought it would be really nice to get away for Valentine’s Day. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, I wasn’t able to sleep. The layout was weird and the TV was to the side of the bed instead of making it easy to view. The bathroom had some black mold in the corner of the shower. Breakfast was a big disappointment for the price of the room. An Apple, little prepackaged muffin, little juice can, and a granola bar. If cutting back amenities due to Covid, prices should have changed to accommodate. The plus was the lady at the front desk was helpful.
It is very nice place, good location, good service, good service.
Just had a facelift and it looks great. Comfortable atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff!
The hotel is clean and modern. The staff is helpful and friendly. I will will stay at this hotel again whenever I come to Denver.
Well parking is too expensive. Plus I had to ask for bottles of water. I shouldn’t have to ask… I am a gold member. Not happy about $36 valley parking.
Huge rooms, super clean, fantastic staff. Hope to have a reason to visit Denver again soon so I can stay here!
We booked a room Friday night to watch the Christmas parade. I booked a room online for six people and when we got there and checked in our room only had two queen beds! Six people cannot sleep in two queen beds! Not cool! We had to send two of our kids to a friends house so that everybody had a place to sleep. I don’t feel like I should have to pay for a room that did not accommodate our family that I had booked!
Great experience. Very friendly staff. Even got to check in early. Nice large room for all 5 of us and plenty of room for kids to play.
When I booked the room, it indicated scenic view. We were placed on the 2nd floor. I asked to move to a higher floor & was told they could not accommodate us. Really? Parking is also $47 a night! Holy moly!
It's a nice Hotel. A Great Place to work at.
Amazing hotel, clean and friendly staff. I love it.
Our hotel stay was reserved by my husbands work. He had an accident and we were life flighted from Wyoming to Denver and I was put up at the hotel. Upon check in I was told I needed to put my credit card on file for “incidentals”. No problem. Looked at my bank account and they authorized my 2 day stay on it. Called my husbands employer who assured me they would get it taken care of, then received a confirmation email from both husbands work and hotel verifying change of credit cards and they even extended my stay.
Hotel was beautiful, food was great and kitchen staff, valet, and maybe 2 ladies at the front desk were lovely.
Upon check out… we asked for a wheelchair to bring my husband down stairs. They looked and said all of theirs are being used but I could call the Hyatt next door. An hour and many tears later the Hyatt called the front desk and explained the staff needed to call and ask to borrow it. We got an eye roll, but she did verify we were guests and their wheelchair was being used by someone else and a wheelchair was brought over ASAP.
Then upon checking, my credit card was authorized AGAIN for the extended stay. Even after they had been given my husbands work credit card they authorized it on mine again. Called the front desk and was told this is standard and kept being talked over. Asked to speak to the manager, was on hold for quite awhile and Autumn came on the line extremely snarky from the get go.
Had a huge issue with my credit card at check in. The man at the desk was more than helpful and I could tell he was getting frustrated but he was very helpful and professional. The hotel is very nice. I would stay here again.
Great location, very comfy and large rooms. Staff very friendly too.
Friendly staff clean rooms good price.
Convenient downtown location walking distance to everything.
I booked a room for my daughter for her birthday on Saturday and was assured when I stopped in that I would NOT need to be with her when she checked in later. She got back to the hotel after the birthday celebration only to be told she could NOT check in without me. I contacted them about comping a night and they were unwilling to do so. My husband and I travel often and we will NEVER stay at another Hampton Inn. It's sad to see the decline of customer service.
Nice and clean breakfast included. Walking distance from everything.
I was hesitant to stay in town but this place was in a perfect location. Clean rooms that were up to date and the service was above and beyond! Excellent breakfast offerings to boot! Five stars, would be happy to stay here again!
Absolutely wonderful service. KARA was on it and the cause for my return if and when I do. Pleasant place to rest while traveling. No complaints.
Location is nice and facility is nice but front desk team does not have their act together. They also seem to not turn over their rooms fast enough. After checking in at the stated time, it took 2 hours and 3 visits to the front desk to get our room. They were supposed to call us to let us know our room was ready and never did.
Huge rooms, modern contemporary decor. Clean. Loads of amenities. Great breakfast. Comfy beds, with feather and synthetic pillows (I'm allergic the feathers so options are important! ). Front desk staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
The room was clean, the bed fine. Breakfast, again fine, as was the staff. There is nothing necessarily negative about the stay, but it was also not exceptional in any way. 4 stars for being a solid, if not special, stay.
Staff is super friendly & customer service focused. They allowed myself & my colleagues both an early (9 am) check in & a late check out. The breakfast offers great, fresh options. Rooms are clean & spacious.
A lovely hotel in a great location.
Just checked in. Service was prompt, courteous and helpful. My room has an interest in modern decor and is very clean. Right now, I’m torn between four and five star rating, with the pricing being the only drag, so far. I suspect it by the time I leave I will be a five star rating, as everything has been nice so far.
Very good hotel in the heart of Denver. All great, room and bathroom very clean. New furniture all very well maintained. Good breakfast, very nice staff.
Wonderful hotel! Best experience out of the three hotels we stayed in over our visit to Denver. The room was MASSIVE, the staff was kind, and the breakfast was on point. Hotel is right next to Ruth's Chris and the outdoor mall, so there is plenty to do within walking distance. Would recommend this property to anyone who visits Denver.
I haven’t even left the hotel and I’m already loving the service. We arrived before check in actually begun (our room was still being prepped) and they were happy to stow our luggage and gave us a Wi-Fi password so we could sit in the lobby and explore options in the surrounding area— which were many! Our room was really nice and they even gave us an extra comforter for my always-cold kid. The breakfast was hot and ready at 6 a. M. As promised and looks delicious with something for everyone (they have packets of Cholula hot sauce for my eggs! ). To-go breakfast bags were ready before 6, for people who had to check out early— how thoughtful! If I’m ever in Denver again, I won’t hesitate to book another room here.
This is a great location. Very reasonable room rates. They charge $30 a night for valet parking. If you were coming in late, I suggest you park on the street overnight and then put your car in valet parking for the next day if you are staying for more than one day. Street parking is free after 9 PM.
Reserved a room well in advance and placed a deposit. Called few days prior to arrival to confirm reservation and inform them of our late arrival due to our flight. Upon check in we were told there was no room available for us. They proceeded to put us in the room at their adjoining hotel. Said we would be there for a couple of days before transferring us back to the Hampton. After one day they call us and said we need to leave because we didn’t have a reservation for that night and they were full. I was told multiple times there was no room for us despite my reservation for four nights. Awful customer service. The ‘manager’ at the front was very rude about the entire situation and staff did not communicate with each other. Only book a hotel room here if you are ok with not actually having a room upon arrival.
Great location. Not what I'd call cheap, but nothing in this area is. Stayed here for several days, and appreciated the convenience to downtown Denver. The free breakfast is definitely a plus — variety of good breakfast food. Another freebie on weekday evenings is social hour at the bar, though drink selection is limited. While here, I took advantage of the laundry facilities ($2 each for washer and dryer when I visited), and I found them to be of good quality, and clean. The dryer even got my jeans dry, which is a rarity for hotel laundries. Don't expect luxury hotel amenities, but for its class it exceeded my expectations.
Visited for a business trip. Standard offerings, nothing stood out as extraordinary. They demanded a credit card even though it was paid for by my employer. They then fraudulently charged my card. Not recommended.
Very central: a stone's throw away from the 16th Street Mall, where all the shops are and one of many Free Mall Ride bus stops. Right across from The Pavillion Mall, a few minutes walk to the State Capitol and Civic Center area. A 5 minute walk to the Convention Center. The room was very inviting, I loved the smell of cleanliness as soon as I stepped inside. Rita did an awesome job! Basic toiletries, hairdryer, clothing iron, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, writing desk, sofa with ottoman, night stands and lamps, large flat screen TV, etc. Easy check-in and check-out process. Ross at the front desk gave us maps for travelling to nearby townships, very helpful young man. Coffee, tea or water available 24/7 at front desk. Very chic and modern lobby. Robust breakfast buffet. Didn't use the pool nor fitness room, but all looked pretty clean and standard.
I've stayed in lots of hotels everywhere and this is hands down the cleanest! Staff is great, location convenient, great price on room and parking!
This place was super nice. The atmosphere was really laid back and open. The staff was really nice and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here!
Great experience. Staff was over the top helpful and friendly. Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Will stay here again next time.
Very nice and clean. Most importantly, I didn't hear any street noise until the normal dump truck around 7am.
I had about a hundred things go wrong on the way to the hotel but the staff at the hotel went out of their way to help me and put a smile on my face. It's a great hotel, great location, and amazing staff! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the cost of valet.
Great location. Very clean room. Shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was not very good.
Excellent hotel, very well located in the downtown area of Denver, incredible attention of the staff, included buffet breakfast of good quality. The rooms are very spacious, updated and very clean. Located just steps from the convention center and a major shopping area/tourist of Denver, with immediate access to all means of transport, including the free services of 16th street mall. Totally recommended for would be for tourism, leisure or events in the city.
Nice place downtown at a good price. Was happy to find both a pool and hot tub. Paid for the valet parking but could've saved some money just using the lot across the street.
Hot tub needs to be hotter and pool needs to be cooler. For such. Nice place the men working the night shift should do a better job. They are just boys who don't know how to do things proper. The breakfast staff do a wonderful job. Rooms are okay. Bathrooms are weird.
Very large rooms! They were almost too large and looked kind of empty but still comfortable. No pool, but there was free breakfast and the staff was super nice and knowledgeable about local restaurantes and bus routes. A very comfortable stay for business ventures to a family vacation.
I love this hotel I stay at both often since it is also the Homewood Suites. The combination idea is Amazing, the food is very good and the gym is very nice. The pool and hot tub are also great. The remodel did wonders!
Clean, and updated. I stayed in a newly remodeled room, which was awesome. Portions of the hotel are currently under construction. The new suites will look the same as the room I stayed in. Staff was over the top helpful, wish there was 6 stars to give!
Beautiful bar and lounge! Room was very large, clean and had a wonderful view. Ryan at the front desk did an amazing job! He went above and beyond for us, friendly, had great good suggestions and helped us load up when we were leaving! The valet personnel we also very welcoming and helpful. We would for sure stay at this location again.
This is an extremely above-average appointed Hampton Inn. It shares a space with Homewood Suites and is adjacent to a Hilton Garden Inn so it's like Hilton kind of owns the whole block. The breakfast is typical but very nice and fast crew setting it up. Steven at the front desk and Melissa at the front desk are both affable and helpful staff. I had a slight problem with the room very slight and they rectified it beautifully. It's super centrally located and I would stay here in a heartbeat again.
The room is clean and everything is well maintained except the plumbing for the shower. The pin to move water to the shower head is stuck in the middle. Not the end of the world though. Breakfast served in the morning is the standard fare for a complimentary breakfast. Location is great as you can walk to many great restaurants.
I attended a training here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was good for the size group that was there. Equipment worked well.
Good size room but views and kitchen are not as good as Homewood Suites located in same Building. Seems a little more upgraded than Homewood and Tv way easier to hook up HDMI to since has separate box. Staff was very helpful switching rooms to Homewood.
Super. Tolke and very clean rooms.
Nice clean room and comfortable bed. Location is great. There was no lock on the bathroom which was odd. Free breakfast was decent.
We were greeted with a friendly front desk. The room are clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.
Pretty lame accommodations for the money… the only rooms they have go up to floor number 5, so no views and plenty of road noise. Luke warm showers, really? Electric shades where only half of them actually closed, one even opened up on it's very own (! ) in the early morning hours and woke us right up. Absolute chaos in the free breakfast dining area, hair in the potatoes, no coffee at all, no one seemingly in charge of checking on any of the food… mentioned the problems to the manager, got a "sorry for the inconvenience" card on my sink. And I almost forgot… they did not get around to room service until 5pm at which point we were back in our room getting ready for dinner and I had to say No Thanks, we don't really want you in our room right now… horrible service, horrible hotel. Bad management… would have expected more.
The hotel is located in a great central area of downtown Denver. The staff is always very nice and helpful, and the rooms are very clean. I love staying at this hotel whenever I need to spend a night in Denver.
Place was having their breakfast hall redone. So we had breakfast in a conference hall. Aside from that, rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was extremely helpful. We will definetly stay here again.
When calling this hotel I was greeted with very friendly, customer oriented front desk employees. Evan was the first person I spoke with and he was great! He helped me find the right room for my family! After I booked the room, I had realized that I booked the wrong room and called back. I was greeted by another friendly, helpful gentleman and he connected me with the hotel manager, Emily. She fixed my problems quickly and eased my concerns. You guys are great! Thanks for all you do!
The hotel was such an amazing experience! Steven from the front desk was so nice and welcoming. If you need to stay in Downtown Denver the Hampton Inn is the perfect place to stay.
I loved this hotel. The decor is chic and modern, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is incredibly helpful. The gym is state of the art, the biggest hotel gym I've been in. They have coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies in the lobby in the evening. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had so much variety. I would definitely recommend this place.
We spent 4 nights here. The staff were lovely and very friendly. A small shop to buy snacks and other necessities. They have razors etc available on request if you have forgotten yours. Recently renovated (still in progress at the time of our visit but we stayed on a completed floor). Lovely colour schemes, but they seem to have skimped on the labour as the carpet wasn't adequately stretched in the 2nd floor lift area and had already created a ridge you can trip on. The new carpet in our room was laid over a metal grate or something that made a clunk sound every time you stepped on in walking in or out of the room. Free coffee/tea in the lobby all day. Cookies available in the early evening but get in quick they taste good and run out fast. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is a wide variety of food. Great location easy walk to 16th street mall and other locations. Beautiful decorations in the lobby for Christmas.
The employees were very kind and helpful from the start. The room was clean and comfortable and well laid out. The breakfast was very tasty and well stocked.
Pleasant stay with spacious rooms, comfy bed, pillows kinda went flat but we always bring one lol, room has large 42 TV, microwave and fridge, walk-in shower. Friendly and courteous staff. I would recommend when you get to your room turn down the thermostat and turn up the fan to cool the room down, takes awhile to get room temperature adjusted. I suggest parking at the underground garage across from hotel after unloading it was $46 for 2days. Has free hot breakfast Overall enjoyable stay.
The room was updated and clean. Bathroom also looked recently renovated. Overnight my room was either too hot or too cold, and I couldn't get it just right but maybe just me. Bed was very soft with 4 pillos, not really comfortable for me but maybe for others. Free beakfast was great with REAL FOOD like eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Many restaurants in walking distance. Lobby was a very comfortable space and looked brand new. Parking was valet and costs $30 a day. I would recommend using the lot adjacent to the hotel which charges over half that and is literally a 1 minute walk away. Overall this hotel is worth a look.
The first night we slept in a bed that wasn't the comfiest, and the elevators move insanely slow, but with the help of one Emily Wimbush, this ended up being one of the best stays we've ever had. She not only moved us the next morning to a more comfortable room, she constantly checked in with us asking if she could help in any way (and she did). I've never seen a hotel employee be so sweet and genuine. If service matters to you, stay here. This girl is an asset and as long as she's working, I'll gladly come back any time. Thank you Emily!
Nice place. Heated smoking area but wind is very bad heater is useless. Needs wind block or indoor place for cannabis users. With Cannabis tourism so high this is a must. Check out iBake while in town and dont be shy. Nice staff. No free parking. They should cover your parking costs for these rates.
Great suite and amenities. 2 blocks to restaurants and convention centre. Would be five stars if they had room service.
Nice Hampton. Only a block from the 16th St free bus from Union Station. Easy to take the train in from the airport.
Room was great, clean and quiet. Parking was valet only, and not cheap, but the hotel staff was quick to retrieve my rental car each time I needed it. Also, I enjoyed the nice hot tub.
Great friendly staff, comfortable rooms and nice linens and bed. Recently updated. Very good breakfasts from eggs, cereal, fruit and yogurts to waffles, toast and bagels.
The room is clean and everything is well maintained wxceot the plumbing of the shower. The PIN to move water to the shower head is stuck in the middle. Not the end if the world though. Breakfast served in the morning is a standard fare for a complimentary breakfast. Location is great as you can walk to many great restaurants.
Was there for a clients in room massage (I am a licensed massage therapist). Very cordial front desk staff, helpful security guard, valet or on the street parking and nice clean decent rooms.
Our stay was fantastic from beginning to end. We needed an early check-in since we we're switching hotels due to Hurricane Harvey we had been displaced for a week while we tried to figure a way to get back home to Houston. Everyone was extremely helpful and the location was great only a few minutes walk to the capital and the happenings of the 16th Street Mall.
The suite we stayed in was clean and comfortably slept five people. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast in the morning is wonderful. This location is close to nightlife so you can walk downtown and find plenty of things to do.
Location and proximity to main downtown area is great, and the breakfast is decent for what it is — but I think the hotel is lacking in a few things that I would expect for the price. A safe in the room would be a great place to start. Less hotel/pipe noise would be good. The fitness center is… something… better than nothing. Rooms were clean and TV was good in terms of entertainment options, Wi-Fi is good to have (but also part of my base expectations in this day and age in a major city). Room heats up and cools down well. Basically there's nothing too bad about it (except the safe thing) but there's also nothing that makes me want to come back again. It's all pretty standard and leaves me open to trying something other chain.
I definitely recommend this hotel. The location is convenient and within walking distance to the 16th Street Mall and the free mall buses can take you to lots of popular attractions. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room is on the 4th floor and it's been very quiet. They have a complimentary breakfast and they keep it fully stocked with hot food like scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and potatoes. There's also cereal, bagels, lots of breakfast sweets, yogurt, coffee, juices, and fruit. The rooms are large and ours is very clean. The hotel has complimentary shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and has hair dryers, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, and microwave in the rooms.
The location was decent. Right downtown. Parking had a few selections at different prices. The on site pool and spa was awesome. Both salt water. Both clean. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the pillows were comfy too. Not a bad hotel all in all for the price and amenities. Breakfast was decent.
Great location in town. Could walk everywhere that we wanted to go. Clean, friendly, pleasant service. I would definitely recommend staying here to a friend or anyone for that matter.
This Hampton Inn worked out great for us. It was super clean, located conveniently to downtown and they even made us breakfast. The staff was also wonderful upon check-in, during our stay and upon checkout — each time conversating with our children who loved speaking with them. Breakfasts were hearty with Denver omelettes and other fixin's. If you can grab a metered parking spot, directly in front of the hotel, Friday night you will be parking for free all weekend, otherwise, there is a valet fee.
Excellent location and well kept! Friendly staff. I just wish they would serve real scrambled eggs for breakfast and not the nasty little clumps of egg that were cooked somewhere else weeks ago.
My family of four, with 2 little ones under the age of 3 stayed here for a night in Room 503. Checked in at 1030/11pm, arrived to our room which smelled dingy and smoky. Some sort of weird stain on the wall, on the R side when you walk-in. Lamp was torn, shower had no water pressure, and only put out extremely hot or cold water, we had to call down twice for pillows twice for the pullout — waited over an hour. We were not informed of when check-out times or breakfast was served. Called down, desk agent told us we would be compensated. My boyfriend checked-out, asked about compensation, and told him they couldn't refund him the money because he had checked out already, so the manager Stefan-Stefan told him to take whatever he wanted from the snack stand (ODD). So I approached the manager. While telling him our situation, he rolled his eyes and said all he could offer was a "be my guest pass" — even after telling him I would prefer to be refunded. Called corporate, they did nothing.
Don't stay in room 503.
Great place to stay. Great service from staff. Rooms are terrific. Breakfast is amazing. It's always a pleasure to stay there.
I had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was outstanding and the staff was very helpful and ensured my stay was pleasurable.
Nice hotel. People were great, friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast was awesome. We were there two nights and it was slightly different each night. It was nice that they don't require valet or bell service like other fancy hotels. We were able to just use a luggage cart without having to tip or pay. Overall greAt stay. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the shower. The pressure would vary during the shower from a trickle to a moderate pressure. Also there is no door on the shower (modern glass shower) so it's cold in the shower no matter how hot the water.
Great breakfast, great valet. They were so helpful with finding restaurants, having our car ready, getting whatever we needed in a split second. Truly the best I've experienced and I'm a world travler. The bad Rooms weren't always cleaned the best, but the beds were made. And ran out of food early at breakfast.
Nice modern rooms that are either new or recently refurbished. Very quiet despite being in downtown Denver. Blackout blinds on the windows are fantastic. The gym is a good size with good quality equipment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again.
The service was absolutely wonderful! The swimming pool and hottub don't go to deep which was great for my two year old nephew. My sister and her boyfriend got a separate room then me and my mom and they upgraded her to a suite without her even asking! Veronica was the name of the housekeeper that did my sisters room and she picked up very well. Give her a pat on the back please. She did a spectacular job! Then, I expected (you know, just like other hotels) a complimentary breakfast, orange juice, yogurt and a piece of sausage. That's not what they give you here, no. They have a choice of juices, cereal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, waffle toppings, biscuits and gravy, french toast sticks, eggs, fruit, everything you would ever want for a breakfast. I really appreciate what you did for us. I hope you keep it up! Our stay was wonderful!
Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Nice breakfast offered daily. I had a king suite and it was huge and priced well. I used my phone as my key so I didn't not get my free Hilton Honors water and felt they should have left me a note. King suite had fridge and microwave. Bed was really comfy. Walls are a bit thin. Pool and workout room on lower level. Business center on second floor. Safe location to walk around. Restaurants and convenience store within a few blocks. Subway sandwiches half a block away. Inexpensive parking next to and across from hotel.
Great hotel, nice continental breakfast, nice rooms and warm pool. Also having valet parking is wonderful.
Geri at the front desk was so helpful and very nice to my daughter, who was having a surgical procedure.
We had a crappie mattress but after talking to them they gave us an additional room next to ours so everyone could sleep alone. When we checked we automatically were upgraded at no cost. They were very friendly all the timw. Great breakfast.
A short walk (3 blocks) and we were on the 16th St Mall. Great location for launching our downtown adventure. Hotel was clean and quiet, with crisp sheets. We were upgraded to a suite, I think because of my HHonors status. Breakfast was a little about standard with cheese omlets, make your own waffle, and the normal yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The only issue we had was with the bedside USB charges, we plugged our phones in, they showed charging, but by morning they were completely dead. Had we been using them as our alarm it would have been problematic. Using our normal wall charger fixed the problem.
The customer service has been great so far; I'm staying in one of their wheelchair accessible rooms, and I have to say that the bathroom situation is one of the best I've seen yet! It would be nice if they have a little more variety in the shower chairs they have available, but otherwise, it has been a pleasant stay.
Nice place … came here for company function. Rooms are clean but I expect that when basic rooms are $600 to $ 800 dollars a night. Glad I was not paying for it. Nice classy place though.
They were wonderful and helped us get the room we needed. Just a little forgetful on getting us a couple things. Great place.
Great location, right next to 16th street mall, the atmosphere of the hotel was great, very clean and modern, room size was good. Overall a really good experience.
We had a really nice room, overlooking the Denver Convention Center. The room was quiet, and breakfast in the morning was hot! All in all, it was a great stay!
Very nice hotel for my Denver business trip. Right in the middle of downtown within walking distance of several restaurants. Excellent complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. Great stay, and no billing issues.
The Hampton Inn Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center was a true blessing. The location first of all was great. I love the city of Denver. It's one of my favorite places to work in and /or visit. Secondly, the hotel was warm and inviting. The staff always was professional and friendly which nowadays is hard to find. I was especially impressed by my room. It was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was super comfy. And the bathroom was fully stocked and the shower had great water pressure. Al and all I would say my experience exceeded my expectations.
Clean rooms, convenient location to downtown, and nice amenities. The pool and fitness center left something to be desired, but were adequate enough for the price. Breakfast was included and quite nice. It's not the cheapest, but not too expensive and good for the price. We parked on the street, but parking is normally $30 for the valet (I assume per day) … Just something to factor in.
Things started pretty bad but did get better. My room had a very loud banging pipe noise at 6am, coming from the air vent in the bathroom. None of the staff was familiar with this, so perhaps it was an aberration. The got me a better room the next day. This is a very odd layout for an upscale, downtown hotel. The Hampton only occupies the lower floors of the building. Fellow Hilton Hotel 'Homewood Suites' has all the upper floors. As these mega-chains continue to buy up smaller chains, we may see more of this. Throw in the $39 valet parking, and it felt like a 3.5 star hotel at 4 star prices. Note to anyone staying downtown: If you choose to park on the street, you need to pay all the way up to 10pm and not a minute short. The meters themselves will monitor you right up til 10pm sharp. You can then get ticketed later. (No, I'm not making this up. ) That said, the staff and facilities were otherwise up to spec and things got better as I settled in for my 2nd and 3rd days. Hampton mainstays (hot breakfast, smart staff, good beds, spacious lobbies, updated features) all work.
I've spent a few weeks at this hotel so far for work. I think it's a great hotel, it's walking distance to all sorts of great foodie spots and the rooms are always very clean. They have a hot breakfast every day which varies per day. Some of the items in there aren't superb but there are a lot of options. I recommend this hotel for sure.
E-check in was fantastic, and me in my room within 5 minutes of walking in the door. The room was spacious and nothing about it felt cramped. Breakfast was okay, not spectacular, but it got the job done. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
The place was great! People at front desk were friendly, and the beds were comfortable! The reason why I only gave it 4 stars, is because their eggs exploded.
Clean room, nice employees overall Great experience. I just wish pool was open later with an adult only time.
Rooms clean and spacious, minimalist to perfection but everything. Very central location in Denver just steps from many points of interest. Breakfast not really well though as anywhere in America packed abound everywhere.
Best hotel breakfast ever. With bacon and fresh berries. Pool was clean and warm. Lots of art work on walls was a bonus. Great rooms with comfy blankets.
Staff couldnt answer the phone and smoke alarm battery was dying and had to get a battery and change it myself. Rude and inept front desk staff.
Fast check in and out. Room was clean and as advertised. Good price for a one night stay.
Nice room, nice front desk, decent breakfast, comfy beds, really good location.
We did not actually get to stay at this hotel, but when we called to cancel our reservation the staff was very understanding and supportive. The manager, Stacy was kind, helpful and offered us useful information for out next trip to Denver. Simply because of the wonderful customer service, I recommend this hotel.
Terrible if u want a false charge on your card you should stay here because they will charge for anything I was charged 250 dollars for not smoking in my room next time I'll make sure I smoke in my room so the charge is justified f this place cold hot tub terrible Wi-Fi and terrible customer service nobody came to clean my room and I was there for 3 nights hated this hotel won't ever be back and try my hardest to make sure nobody else will have to go through what I did it's enough for me to even write a review.
Beautiful suite… clean, well decorated and comfortable beds. Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was delicious! Great proximity to the 16th Street mall.
I enjoyed my stay here. I was amazed how caring the staff was at the front desk with all the rush and craziness from the parade of lights. I would say the bartender can't recall her name doesn't matter she was genuine and kind in the beginning but when she started to get a rush of a crowd she began to loose focus of guests needs and lack of customer service knowledge was noticed. She did not attend to us nor did she check on us at anytime we had to get her attention several times to order or check on our current order. Other than the bar experience it was nice I would stay again and recommend this hotel to others!
Hotel staff incredibly helpful in an urgent situation. Staff helped me assist a young international student stranded in Denver for the night, and even allowed him use of the business center after checkout so he could study until his delayed transport departed. Bravo! I was impressed with the humanity of the staff. Thank you for a good deed well done!
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. Overall we liked this hotel. The decor was very "urban chic" and (though not to my personal taste) was a great fit for the sophisticated downtown area the hotel is located in. The room was HUGE and a bit "echo-y" but nice. The bed was wonderful, to the point that I didn't want to move once I was on it. The desk staff is helpful and friendly, and the pool was fun. As far as location, it's also close to several light rail lines and lots of bus stops, is within walking distance of the Denver Performing Arts Complex and the Convention Center, and you're literally right across the street from 16th Street Mall, making this a great property for shopping enthusiasts and people-watchers (for those unfamiliar with Denver, the 16th Street Mall is an open-air pedestrian shopping area where street performers and other "nontraditional" characters tend to gather, but we never felt unsafe). Be aware that there is NO free parking at this hotel (though they do have valet parking available for $30 or so a day). Also, if you're paying with a debit card, they will charge your entire stay to your card the first night, plus $50 per night damage deposit, and you won't get it back until at least 72 hours after you check out. It's policy, and they're strict on it. Credit cards just get a hold, and not really "run" until checkout, so pay with a credit card if you can. Also, it's a dual property.
Great stay! Perfect location and comfortable, quiet room. Front desk staff could be more conversational, but the valet was very helpful.
Fantastic location in the heart of downtown activities. We've always found Hampton Inns to offer top service, predictably higher quality amenity and a fair price. Will stay here again and again.
I stayed at this facility 2 weeks ago. I have stayed at Hampton's across the country many times, and unfortunately this experience has deterred me from returning to any in the foreseeable future. Upon arriving to the building, the valet service was a little behind, which is fine. So I asked where I could park my car so that I could get checked in a bit quicker. One of the valet employees directed me to a parking lot, and informed me that I would have no issues parking there, as they used it at times for an overflow lot. Not thinking twice about the instructions I was given by an employee of the facility I was staying in, I did so. Much to my surprise when I awoke the next morning, I had received a parking ticket. After calling and trying to speak to the manager about my situation, I was told that it was not his fault I could not read. Then he reluctantly transferred me to the valet managers voice-mail. I have left 3 messages without response. While I am willing to take accountability for the parking ticket, I feel that the way this business has handled my concern with employees giving out false information is appalling. People travel here, and are unfamiliar with the surroundings, it should be the up-most importance of any hospitality business to provide the best information possible to its occupants, and further more take concerns of the patrons seriously.
Parking is not included in price of stay, I understand this is common in downtown hotels HOWEVER, for 24$ per night, per car, valet parking… they should actually have a valet! First night we handed over the keys and went up to our room for an hour and a half and when we came back down our car was STILL sitting in the unloading zone on the street, un-parked. No wonder the loading zone was ALWAYS full of parked, vacant, cars! Then the next day when we handed the front desk our valet ticket to get our car and head out, they gave us the keys and told us to go get it ourselves! lol. Your best bet is to park in the lot across the street. Its cheaper, and the same amount of effort is required. Also, we asked for a late checkout at the front desk and they gave us till 12:30, but for some reason housekeeping tried to enter the room 3x before 9:30AM (even with the 'do not disturb' tag on the door)! Overall its a nice hotel but the staff is seems unorganized and understaffed.

I’ve stayed here b4 and it was recommended to come back because of the 5 star rating I gave last time but this time I say 3 star rating because we had no TV it didn’t work and we just wanted to stay an extra hour late check out cause we woke up late coming from a concert down there. Anyways we were forced to rush out of there because the front desk person told us they had more important people VIP gonna be checking into the hotel by noon already. So I’m like wat are we chop liver?! We’re just as important as any other guest in this hotel. We traveled all the way from rapid city SD to stay here. So I feel we’re vip inportant people too. So disapointed on how we were treated there😔
