When we first visited Cedaredge we stayed at the lodge and we were so impressed by the friendly welcome and beautiful accommodations! Gary and Donna are beautiful souls and were part of why we moved here!

We loved this place! They accommodated us last minute with our dog. The rooms are absolutely charming, clean, comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is actually really good. (A big deal when working while traveling)! The people were very friendly and happy to see a pup on the property. The entire property is beautiful. It is worth a look around. We are sad we didn’t get a chance to use the fun looking game room! Very sweet little hidden gem.

We had an AWESOME stay at the Cedaredge Lodge. Very relaxing. The rooms were quiet and clean, and Gary and Donna were the best of hosts. We will be back!

Beautiful property. The room is gorgeously remodeled and very comfortable! The community kitchen and seating area is amazing (although we didn't use) There are 3 other bbq's around the property and the creek is nice & relaxing to sit by. The arcade, bocce ball, crochet, and horseshoe pit are great entertainment. We didn't utilize the hot tub but through the personal tour given upon arrival we could see it was clean and taken care of. Gary & Donna are stupendous hosts and proprietors of this lovely small town gem! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and will stay here again!

Incredible rooms, food, and view. Best part though are the owners. They go out of their way to take care of their guests. One of the most enjoyable lodging experiences of my life.

Couldn't imagine a more lovely place to stay. And to have it run by a wonderful couple living their dream and creating a beautiful atmosphere made it perfect. This was our first trip with our baby daughter and they took such good care of us at Cedaredge Lodge. There's lots of cool stuff to do but it's also an easy place to be quiet and take it easy. We're so glad we found Cedaredge Lodge and we're telling our friends.

Newly renovated, rooms were so cute, clean and big enough to feel comfortable in. Beds were cozy and extra blankets were available without having to request them. Refrigerator and microwave in room plus tons of other convenient amenities on site including fire pit, hot tub, outdoor games, kitchen/cooking area, and arcade room. Owners were so great, welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come again!

AWESOME place! We love Donna and Gary! Beautifully hand crafted rooms and they take customer service to a whole new level.

This is the best hidden little hole in the wall you will ever find in in your life if you don't stop and talk to Gary then its your loss then for sure! It would talke you more than a day to enjoy what him and his wife have worked hard on putting together. And if if you stay, dont. You dare pass up on Gary's treat of cooking for you to your liking and I mean it is mouth watering delicacies! You have to stop and try it out for yourself they will even serve champagne!

Truly a little piece of heaven on earth. Beautiful room and surroundings. Felt like I was family and totally at home. Will stay there again if I am ever in Cedaredge, CO!

That's the perfect spot to stay one night or a few. Very clean rooms and decorated with love to the detail. Highly recommend.

Management was great, welcoming, and understanding about our arrival time due to having a little one on the road with my husband and myself. Room was fantastic and clean. They had this little journal for guests to write in. There amenities are awesome and they even offered to watch our baby for an hour so my husband and I could use the hot tub. Definitely a place I would recommend and we are absolutely thinking about coming back for our anniversary.

Haven't stayed there, but driving by looks like I would, stay with a relative when in the area, sign out front said… "Imaginary Friends Stay Free" Loved that!

Amazing staff! The owmer personally gives you a walk-through tour that covers the entire grounds upon your arrival. Each room is uniquely decorated, and if you choose to eat dinner there they will custom make your family-style dinner. Since I am a vegan and my husband was wanting something home-cooked the night before a race, this was a perfect option for us! If we would have had more time, it would have been fun to explore the game room, hot tub, and other amenities. All of this being said, there is a very strong Christian theme throughout (scripture carved on the walls, pictures, etc) which can be a bit uncomfortable if you are not of that faith. If you are looking for a check in/check out where conversation is minimal, you will not get that here. The attention can be almost overwhelming, but it an era of impersonal customer servcie it's a welcome change.

The Lodge in Cederedge is truly amazing. My second trip here and could think of knowledge else I would rather be. Owners Donna& Greg may it feel like you are coming home every year, and the place is five stars across the board. The highest of standards!.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility has many opportunities to entertain. It is a very relaxing and fun environment, if you are looking for a place to relax it is highly recommended.

It is want, all handmade cedar furnishings and the owners are wonderful. Little creek running behind to pull you to sleep. We live this place!

Disclaimer, I did not pick this place, my husband and I decided to take an extended trip after spending some time in Pagosa and I let my husband pick the place without looking into it (so naturally I was skeptical) well low and behold my husband stumbled on an incredible gem! They say when you come there it is like being home, and let me tell you, IT IS EVEN BETTER than being at home. It may not look like much when you drive up, but the rooms are incredible, you feel like you are in a log cabin, and you are welcomed immediately by the staff, who gives you a tour of the property, there are fruit trees all over the place, which they gladly let you sample, if not a little more :) ) apricot trees, green apple trees, plum trees, and then they have a whole host of games you can play on the grounds, or a hammock if playing is not your thing. My husband and are group played like 4 different games, and had a blast with all of it, and then when we were all done and hanging out in the hot tub, the owner came out to greet us. He was incredible! So sweet, willing to go above and beyond and bring anything we might need. This place was so incredible with the staff and owners and river right behind it, I was sad we only stayed for one night. There is also a lovely local breakfast spot down the road, only a mile. This place was fantastic, my husband truly picked a great spot, and I would go there again in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for 5 nights when we were attending the FJ Summit in ouray and absolutely loved it. It was beyond our expectations! The kids loved the game room, the hammock and the apple trees near the creek. We loved the kitchen and dining areas. The room was beautiful and the staff/owners were so friendly! We left feeling like we knew them forever. Totally recommend this lodge!

A wonderful and welcome surprise. This is the best hotel in Cedaredge but also just a nice place. The husband / wife owners are super friendly. Each room has its own mini kitchen, bed, shower and fridge. There's a common area with a hot tub, games, etc. And a cute little Creek with outdoor lighting in the back. If you have to stay in Cedaredge this is the place. Highly recommend.

When we first pulled up, I was afraid that it was a basic motel. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the interior was completely redone to the point where I thought I was in a cabin in the woods. We arrived late so I didn't see everything but their game room had lots of entertainment options.

Was having problems finding lodging near Hotchkiss past 10 pm, and we discovered cedaredge. They got us in, right away. Very clean, comfortable room. We really enjoyed staying here and will be back.

Donna and Gary have the only home away from home. Thank you both for making a long overdue family holiday something we will always cherish.

Sept. 2012 Over the past weekend we got the experience the lodge and I have nothing but wonderful things to rave about. The lodge is very homely and the owners Gary and Donna do an excellent job in hosting guest. The rooms are very clean and there is a kitchenette to top it off. The lodge has many activities from games to relaxing places to hang out. The dinner that was prepared was finger lickin' good and there service was top notch. Thank you Gary and Donna for the wonderful weekend! Mog/Whit.

Cedaredge Lodge is more than a place to stay, it's an experience. The owners, Donna and Gary, are experts when it comes to customer satisfaction. In order to properly tell you what the lodge is, I have to tell you what it's not. The lodge does not have a pool, nor does it have a fancy restaurant. The rooms are not large and there are not very many of them. HOWEVER… the experience you get from staying at the lodge is one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the newly remolded rooms with the classic lodge look, to the outdoor kitchen with the sound of rippling waters in the background and where Donna and Gary prepare some of the best food you will ever have, including vegetables grown right on site, to the rustic fire pit where the guests all gather around to finish the evening with a night cap and friendly conversation, to the hot tub and the game room and everything in between. This place is now at the top of my list of favorite places to stay. If you are looking for a resort where you can water ski, scuba dive, play tennis, and lay on the beach all day, this is NOT that. This is the resort you go to and find yourself again. The place you learn to relax and make friends that you hope you will meet again in the near future. A place that I like to call, A Little Piece Of Paradise. Donna and Gary will make every effort to make sure that your stay is enjoyable and relaxing. They take care of every need you have.

We were just looking for a place to crash after a long day of hiking — — but we found SO much more at this little gem of a lodge. The rooms are clean, well kept and a good value. The even better value comes from hanging out with Donna and Gary in the outdoor kitchen beside the stream. My husband and I also thoroughly enjoyed the free game room where we had a rousing game of air hockey. This is an unexpectedly great find — — we will absolutely be back and this time, Cedaredge Lodge will be our destination. (They also have a hot tub, putt putt golf course, hammock and massage parlor… seriously a wonderful place to bring kids as well. )

I had the opportunity to stay at the Lodge during early January. Single digit temperatures outside, but warm and nice inside. The new owners have done a lot to make this older motor lodge style hotel inviting and comfortable… including the little electric fireplace that warmed the room. The prices were reasonable for a room complete with full kitchen. I travel a lot and stay in grossly expensive corporate hotels. This is a refreshing change of pace. Tom from Berthoud, CO.
