Average is the best word to describe it as it's not above & beyond by any means, but there's nothing that would have me deem it a place to avoid. Only thing I'd warn against is a high population of various bugs outside of the rooms that could easily make their way within them. But, the location is pretty nice with a great selection of restaurants and stores not far from the motel and a bowling alley right next door.

Friendly desk staff. Extremely clean rooms; not the newest, but well maintained. Beautiful grounds, excellent for a weekend trip.

Good value for money. Clean and tidy. Good coffee spot nearby — — Jump Start Java.

It's NOT 5 star motel, it's more than that! Do not be fooled by the mid-century architecture, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the prices are exceptional. I can't recommend this place enough. There is a real pride of ownership in this place and it shows. Yes, some of the facades on the office are a bit dilapidated but that doesn't take away from the classic Americana feel this motel has.

Small rooms but decent price compared to surrounding choices. Stayed here a couple times and had hard mattresses that I couldn't sleep well on. Brought foam topper from home and this helped. Rooms are clean, bedding looks fresh. Had new bedding a couple of times.

Room was clean. Air conditioning worked well. Not too bad for a place to lay your head.

Tiny spotless rooms. Friendly curtious staff. I encouraged my family to all stay there during our family reunion. Great gazebo and they have a dog!

This place is super clean, the staff is very friendly. The perfect motel for cycle tourists, well worth the few miles off the TransAm route.

The place is really good for the price of 60$ for 18 hours stay. They had all the features like tv, microwave, refrigerator etc. It was pretty near to everything in cannon city. The breakfast was also good. I highly recommed this place for new tourists in the cannon who wish to spend a night for cheap.

Older motel and room was small but very clean. Bed was very comfortable.

This is an older motel, but well kept up. It was very clean. I couldn't get over how fresh the sheets smelled (like home). We are a family of 6 and stopped in at the last minute. We were able to get a room with 3 double beds, which was perfect. With 3 double beds there wasn't a lot of space but if all you're gonna do is sleep there it's not a big deal. At $75 a night it was definitely budget friendly.

Clean, affordable and friendly. We've been back already. It is easy to get to and near a lot of attractions.

I think it is a great place to stay easy access to movie, shopping, and eats, The service and staff are so polite and friendly and the biggest plus is the rooms are very clean and cozy I would recommend to others.

Not sure what it was about this place but it was a great experience. The rooms felt rustic and had cool decor and artwork. The picnic table atmosphere prompted us to just hang out all night outside. Great place to stay.

Yes, this hotel is outdated. Not a modern and super hip place to stay. But my room was big, clean and had an awesome AC-system that kept the room cold! And on top of that, this was the cheapest hotel in Canon City! If you're looking for a classy and luxury hotel, don't stay here. If you're looking for a clean and cheap place to stay: you can't go wrong!

Stayed here twice I loved it so much. Just an all around good place to stay. Worth mentioning the ice is in the gazebo. There were a couple different people looking for it.

This old motel is clean, and equipped with a good sized fridge and microwave. The price is very reasonable. We were able to get a room with 3 beds for our family, reserved months in advance. Eva, the owner, is very nice. It may not look like much on the outside, but I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Just stopped for the day to rest with my husband and 2 small boys. The place was very clean and has been well kept for the age of the building. Iwould recommend this place to anyone who cares about money.

This is a 1950's-era motor court. Sometimes they are dives. But this one was highly satisfactory. The front desk staff was personable, helpful, and friendly. The rooms are all built around a common parking lot/courtyard. This courtyard was well-maintained with exceptional amenities — a heated gazebo, several picnic tables, large shade trees. The parking lot was clean and well-striped. The entire motel has a clean, freshly-painted appealing look. The rooms are every bit as adequate. They appeared clean, functioning, well-maintained, remarkably large, and freshly painted. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Rooms are super clean dated yes but for the price and the cleanliness who cares! Staff was very friendly. Beds where amazingly comfortable. Best two nights of sleep I have had ino over a year. So quiet never heard a car door or even anybody taking outside. Highly recommend!

We are a young Family on Vacation and stay at this Very nice motel. Yes it is not a New extravagant high line motel, But we don't look at that for us. We appreciate the Clean Very Well kept up Motel that Has TLC written all over it! My kids enjoyed the swing set and we enjoyed the experience and Would come back in a Heartbet! Oh and the price is right to!

More than expected. Great rooms, great price, friendly staff. Stayed for 1 night during a road trip in Colorado, and we're surprised from the quality. There is a 24 hour Wal-Mart just a few minutes away, so we bought some groceries and made dinner and breakfast in our room. There is a fridge, microwave and a drip coffee machine in the room. There's also a cable TV and comfy outlets on the nightstand for charging the phones.

Very clean and nice rooms for a great price. Friendly staff. Definitely will stay again.
