I Stayed there the end of May, 2018. I paid cash, they still wanted to see my credit card. When I got my visa statement, I found they had also charged the entire bill to my credit card. I called the motel and the woman said she would look into it, but never did, never got a call back, lost my money. Room was not worth the 200.00 it cost me. Will never stay in any Wyndham again. BTW, the owners son was at the desk and he is the one I gave the cash too, beware!

Very clean and well maintained. Friendly professional staff. The only reason for the four stars is the lumpy small pillows on the king size bed and the bed could use a little help. The breakfast and everything else was spot on and we will be back. Just a more comfortable bed would be amazing.

Good value. We were looking for a good price in the area and didn’t need the pool like we usually do. I only chose this hotel b/c of other reviews. Room was clean, customer service was good and breakfast was ok for this size of hotel. We would stay again for sure.

Stayed with my teen child for the weekend. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with directions to other places around town. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The internet there was a bit on the slow slide to my son's frustration but still available for free so no complaints on that! They also had a free breakfast with an ok variety of food. The hotel was also located pretty much in the center of the town which made it great to access restaurants, activities, and shopping areas. We will definitely stay here again if I'm the area!

Staff conduct over the phone needs work. They should offer locals deal's during the off season.

Inexpensive and nice place to stay at for the night. Was down in the area to visit Newlin Creek. Easy check-in and check-out. Clean place. Perfect for one night.

Wonderful staff, rooms were very clean, breakfast was poor — the fruit was overripe and they started taking it down 1/2 hour early.

Newly renovated. Rooms are a bit tight on space though, only has 2 doubles not Queens. Super 8 in Florence does offer 2 queen rooms though! Only about 15 minute drive.

The room was lovely! Loved the free breakfast but could have had more options.

Do not normally leave bad reviews. Room was clean. Definitely worth the price paid. However be sure to get a receipt when you check in. That really saved us from being ripped off. Last night we called a hotel and was given a very good rate of $66 for the night. When we arrived the nice lady at the desk told us the manager of the hoteldid not like what we were charged. She said she was going to charge us what we were quoted, which she did. This morning we noticed our card was charged significantly more. They did make it right however but only after we showed them what they did. I did file a complaint with the hotel chain Wyndham.

Clean big room, no refrigerator but did have microwave. Good price.

This Motel 8 deserves a reward! Excellent stay. Breakfast selection was wonderful. Rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpfull. I will definitely stay there again. I really feel like I got Hilton service at this Motel 8. If your spending the night in Canon City don't pass this place up.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was very courteous and helpful. **Edited on August 17th. While we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we've experienced nothing but hassel trying to recover two pillows we left behind. I've now made 8 phone calls, been given 3 different ship dates, left messages for the owner requesting tracking info, and still not received my pillows from six weeks ago. The staff lied the first two times I called and said the pillows had been sent and they were in some staff member's car. All I wanted was my pillow cases back, since they go with my nice sheet set. Due to the amount of dishonesty and runaround I've received, my review has been adjusted to 1 star and I would highly recommend finding another place in town to stay.

The rooms are surprisingly well appointed and upscale and the staff have been so helpful and fantastic. They've really made it an enjoyable stay!

I'm not a fan of Sooper 8 hotels. But this one in Cannon City was nice. Clean comfortable beds, place to socialize. Also great group discounts.

The lady at check in was really nice but the maid left our room dirty. Nasty in the drawers couldn't put our clothes up. And the owner seems to have a problem letting kids play outside on their roller blades or scooters or boards. My 11 year old is on vacation and can't even ride his scooter in the back of the empty dead parking lot, because of cars owner didn't even come to us his parents, just told him, which makes it worse. Maybe the stay will get better. I do know even tho the beds are pillow top and look nice they are still hard to me. I've never wanted to get a vacation over with before but I think this one is going to suck when we're not out running around… Def not vacation material here. But the front deck Lady is really nice and helpful she's great at customer service really makes you feel at home.

They have a microwave. And the bed was huge! I slept like a peaceful clam. My boyfriend slept like he was dead. No complaints here.

Average hotel. Comfortable beds, room was clean. It was worth the price. I would stay here again.

Clean rooms, friendly service, good price. Nothing fancy, but great quality and value for an overnight stay.

We left our room for 10 minutes to get to go food. I have epilepsy so I have two seizure dogs. One was injured two years ago and had extensive surgery hence why I have two dogs. When returning the manager approached me and said my dog had barked while I was gone. I assured him that it wouldn't happen again and that someone had to of approached the door or maybe accidentally hit the door for my dog to bark. I know my dogs, I've spent over 6, 000 dollars on them. My dog could not have barked more than one or two times. The manager requested that we leave the premises. I told him that was okay, he also said he had to check the room. Upon our approach to the door and opening it, with a stranger in our presence, neither of the dogs barked. They acted exactly as they should have. He went through checking the room, for what I am not sure, maybe he thought they had used the bathroom. The room was exactly as we had left it. He said that we should receive a refund but Orbitz, who I booked through said we would get a partial refund. My husband also showed our documentation of our animals being service animals. I was very nice to him and he was nice in return but you could certainly tell that he blew the situation hugely out of proportion. I agree that I should not have left them alone for 10 minutes but I also guarantee that my service animal did not bark more than a couple of times at most. Once we would have arrived back not a soul would have known that there was even an animal there.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice the accommodations were at this hotel. I chose this hotel because of other good reviews that I saw and I have to say they were all true. Our room was clean and had very nice amenities. The King-sized bed was perfect. We loved our stay there and will definitely come back when we visit the hot springs. Great job to the staff!

Dont stay at this super 8. The lady taking my reservation was nice. We arrived at the hotel and the clerk started out nice then turned ugly. She told me that because the card I was using was a debit card, she had to charge me a $100 deposit. Why I said, I don't have pets and I don't smoke. Well, it's a debit card and that is our policy. What does a debit card have to do with pets or smoking? The contract clearly states that you will pay $250 if you smoke or a pet piddles. So I said fine, we'll go to another hotel. She quickly responded that she would cancel the reservation BUT we would still be charged the room rate of $70 plus tax, because cancelation deadlines are 24 hours in advance. So we were stuck. Then when I complained that the gal taking the reservation should have told me there would be a deposit, the clerk replied that they can't do that? Excuse me? I will say that the room was clean. However unless you are at least 6' tall, bring a step ladder. The top height of the bed was about 3' high. I needed a stepping stool to get in. And I had to assist my mother. And then the bed was uncomfortable. Small bathroom sink right next to the door.

The room was very nice. Everything was clean but slightly small.

This was the nicest Super 8 I have ever stayed at. Julie was very helpful she even gave me some breakfast to have for the next day do to me having to leave before their breakfast is served. I would definitely say here again.

The owner is creepy. Bathroom had hair in the shower that was unused! Girl (s) cleaning there NEVER CLEANED BATHROOM OUR ENTIRE STAY (yes, as a former housekeeper I can fold toilet paper too! ).

I had to stay several of times because of my job. I have to admit I was kinda of nervous to stay here because of the negative reviews but it was actually a great place to stay. Good prices on rooms. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were always clean, the A/C worked wonderfully and the beds were very comfy. Not a big selection on breakfast but enough to eat and get ready for the day.

Do NOT Stay here! We had pets with us and we were charged $100 because one of my dogs "supposedly" urinated in my room. I walked all my dogs regularly and they are house trained. The staff members appear to be nice but he sent maids into my room while I had up my DO NOT DISTURB sign. Plus we were charged $15 dollars for a lamp that was held together by glue! You have to be in the middle of the building to get WiFI signal. I highly recommend you stay somewhere else.

Got to the city at 2 am called and called but nobody ever answered or came to the door. Its not opened 24 hours.

Rooms are ok staff was nice no smell in my room. If just looking for a place to sleep this is your place.
