My wife, our 9 year old granddaughter and I stayed in the motel for one night. We originally was going to stay 2 nights. When we got to the room the A/C was off. We turned it on and turned it to 70 deg, the room never cooled off. I got up about every 30 mins all night and turned it down a couple more deg trying to get it to cool the room. The A/C would come on and cycle about 1 min then turn off. When I told the night guy about the trouble he told me he wouldn't charge us and he would move us to another room. He told me the A/C units switch themselves off and you had to recycle them by turning them to heat then back to cool and they would start working again. I told him he should put a sign in the room by the A/C saying that because no one rents a room thinking they will have to work on the A/C unit. He said he would call us when the new room was ready. We told him we had to go take our granddaughter to school that we would be back to switch rooms, when they got the new room ready. He said the manager was on the way and he would take care of us. We came back around 10:30a and the room was still not ready so we left and went to kill some time until they called us. They never called and when we went back at 2:00p the see about the room they told us they didn't have another room. I talked to the manager and he was very disrespectful and acted like he could care less if we had a room or not. They first told us they wouldn't charge us for the room then the manager tried to charge us for the second night that we hadn't even stayed yet. I will never stay here again, We were so tired the next day due to not getting any sleep and the heat in the room it ruined our vacation. I feel like they should pay us for our troubles. I am also going to report this motel to the Best Western Corporate office and the BBB. This is a terrible motel, go to the Hampton right down the road.
