I haven't been to the Blackhawk Lodge in a while but when I did go there it was a nice place to stay it's also Historic Landmark that's been there since I was a child.

It was very clean and the staff was nice. The drinks were on the pricier side and they didnt have any specials while I was there.

I really like this motel. I am enjoying my stay. The owner-manager is great. Our room is beautiful, remodeled, and very clean. Many convenient amenities. Situated in lovely scenery. Reasonable rates, too, for this tourist area. I would recommend Black Hawk Lodge to my family and friends. J. F.

The good thing about this place is that it is close to the casino. The bad thing is that the lady that runs the place forgets to book your reservations. The place does need some remodeling.

Manger is very nice and friendly. Some rooms have been recently remodeled but many still in progress. Call ahead for rates and availability.

I would definately be comkng back the newly remodeled family rooms are great for a summer getaway the local maRket is les than a mile around the corner exploring the trails and having a picnic and enjoying a gorgeous sunrises! the whole place is under remodel but We had the pleasure of staying in one of the newly remodeled family dens and it was perfect! full kitchen, spacious, the key word is CHARMING and comfty the owner is very friendly and the cottages have fridge plenty of cabinets in case you want to cook for the kids and prepare hiking snacks! great TV Wi-Fi works no problems it feels safe security screem doors on every door which is real nice to let in the spring breez in the morning! theres 5 beds large livingroom erea in case you want to go to the buffet its 5 miles up the road well worth the stop inside chuchansi resort wed and thursdays they have prime rib one day and seafood everyday its something different cool place to eat.

Older lodge well maintained. Not alot of extras.

I was on a trip to Yosemite national park when my family needed to use the restroom as an employee slammed the main office door and stopped our persuit for urination.

Steer away from this place. SLEEP IN YOUR CAR! This place is beyond disgusting. Cardboard on the walls, paper grocery bag for a trash can, a burnt outlet, missing light bulbs, 2 dressers MISSING HANDLES… and bedbug feces. My phone died after I took a pic of the bed! We were OUT!

The rooms did not have working plugins and the check in experience was horrible.

Dated and old, clean for 1 nights sleep. Overpriced for a halfway house. The locals gasped when we told them where we stayed. Could be really cute if there was some effort.

The lady who works there was very friendly! It's a peaceful perfect stop for a road trip!

Lovely room. We were looking for a room just like this. Not a chain. They were very accommodating and pleasant.

Jacob and I have stayed there at least 4 or more times. Very nice and personal but the satellite dish on TV doesn't come in very well. We loved to game up at Chukchansi 5 minutes away and eat at the restaurant there the Chicken Alfredo its the bomb.

Very simple, easy to find, not a lot of services or things to do… Just sleep and move on!

Get place to stay very close to Casino great rates pet friendly and newly remodeled.

Good stop on the way to Yosemite. Proper rooms and nice prices.

We were being spontaneous and brought are 2 small children, 1 & 4, during Memorial Day to Yosemite. The prices in Yosemite were way too high so this only being 45 mins away we thought it was acceptable. It was quaint, but no hotel. No lobby, no staff but one lady when you get there if she is there. If not, you have to call the number on the door. The shower clogged instantly, the toilet ran, the blinds are not black out blinds, so the room is lit up all night with the outside lights. No curtains. The beds were terrible, my back and butt hurt so much when I woke up. So at first sight it looked descent but when you get settled it unravels into a terrible stay!
