Heather is wonderful! She got us a room in record time. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and linens smell fresh. The a/c is adequate.
The shower head in our room was broken but it was fixed immediately.
Only complaint is the walls are thin but that’s the standard for hotels.
I’d happily stay here again.

My preferred place to stay when I visit LA. There are plenty of food options nearby and it's a close drive to lots of amenities. The rooms are spacious, always clean, and stocked with basic supplies. I appreciate the ability to check in later in the day (or at night) and the quick process of doing so. Staff is helpful and the free hot breakfast is always a plus. The entire building is nonsmoking, and the parking garage is a short walk next door. The Wi-Fi reaches relatively well throughout the building, for those needing a connection. Would definitely recommend this place for the price. Can't wait for my next visit!

You get a good deal staying in this hotel. Value for your dollar. All rooms are smoke free and rather big.

The hotel is very conveniently located for many LA activities. It's a little difficult to find as that it sits at the end of a blocked road. The parking for the hotel is next door which is confusing when your aren't expecting it. The room is very nice, clean and the kitchenette is everything that you'd hope for. The pool is well maintained and the guests follow the rules about getting our at 10. The elevator broke during my stay, but was repaired the same day. Overall, well worth the money.

We stayed three nights at Comfort Inn LAX. My son called the hotel for free shuttle from LAX airport. The room is large, nice, and clean. The breakfast is good. The hotel and parking are gated for security and safety. The staff is friendly and helpful. The refrigerator is big. The microwave and coffee machine are provided. The washer and the dryer worked well. The Wi-Fi was fast.

Our room was very nice. There was a full sized fridge, stove top, and kitchen sink. The room was large and comfortable. We arrived early around 10 (check in is usually 3) and let us check in right away!

Very pleasant little nice and cute hotel in a little corner of LA. Stayed overnight to go to the airport but would’ve definitely stay longer! I loved the building, it’s beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are also spacious and equipped with mini-kitchen & fridges, etc. Definitely a 5 rating experience.

Old-fashioned hotels, spacious rooms, too, also have a kitchen nook inside, there's only one elevator throughout the property and many rooms are far from the latter, poor continental breakfast and of poor quality, acceptable cleanliness though the carpetist is stained and the bedspread has some stains. Ideal location x the aereporto, but far from downtown Los Angeles. Hotel not recommended.

Pleasantly wonderful experience. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, attentive and friendly staff, delicious continental breakfast. Older location but has updated amenities. Great pricing and you get what you pay for, in a good way!

Clean, quite and professional. The complimentary breakfast was pretty tasty. I witnessed the guy at the front counter handle a not so happy customer and he smiled the whole time and gave great service.

Nice Motel. Comfortable room. Unattractive neighborhood, but only 10 minutes from the airport.

The room was very comfortable, and the location couldn't be beat. A free shuttle runs to the hotel directly from LAX, which saved me a lot of trouble. Breakfast options were solid, the usual hotel hot breakfast options like eggs and sausage. If I'm going to be in LA near the airport, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay at if your in the LA area. Close to the Venice Beach and Santa Monica. Only a few miles away from Los Callejones. Rooms are clean. Outdoor pool for the kids. Breakfast is okay, you get the essentials. ✊

Booked 2 rooms with a King bed and got 2 rooms Handicap rooms. I am a diamond member and got bumped. Hair all over the bathroom. The viewer at the door looks smashed so you can see who's at the door. It's going downhill since my last few visits. Would definitely not recommend this property to anyone.

Nice size bed. Clean spacious bathroom. No view. Definitely not a vacation spot. Parking garage and entry to the building was so confusing. And I just checked out today and forgot an item that I know was left behind and now the staff is playing dumb when I called back to get it.

Great place, we attended very well and the room spectacular, very large and with Office included.

This place was pretty good for the price. Breakfast was delicious, Bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are a few minor things that would need to be addressed. The hinge on the back of the door was rusty which was not a good look. There were blood and fluid like stains on the doona itself. When I was leaning on the floor digging into my luggage bag I felt like I was getting bit by fleas. These minor things got me second guessing about staying here again.

So comfortable good rest the bed us COMFORTABLE. I enjoyed having a descent breakfast with the best workers. Everyone is so kind. Alex is one of my favorites working at the front desk.

I love it, it is a very cozy place and the service to the room has a 10 also accept dogs, I recommend Muchichisimo they will love it.

The Comfort Inn Cockatoo was a good choice for a stay in Los Angeles. It is down a side street that dead-ends at a gate, so it seems safe. Parking is either on-street or in the garage a couple of doors down. The staff ranged from nice, very accommodating, to "eh" for OK. The room was big and beautiful with a complete kitchenette and full refrigerator. Also excellent was a jacuzzi tub, the complimentary breakfast with sausage, eggs, fruit, juices, breads, cereal and yogurt. Since I went in late September, the pool was something I didn't use, but it was there nonetheless looking clean and inviting. In the check-in area is a computer and printer for your airline check-ins. I found this hotel to be wonderful with comfy beds and good lighting, along with very nice interior corridor rooms. I felt safe and secure.

Nice and cozy. Clean rooms, kitchenette doesn't work in room. Reception says only microwave and fridge work. Full size fridge was nice. Pool was clean as well as the halls. Nice breakfast: waffles, sausage, eggs, doughnuts, muffins and other breads.

This is an OK hotel and had an interesting experience. I checked in at 1am and called a friend. At 1:30am had a knock at the door with an employee of the hotel and another guest. Ask if I stayed here the night prior. I obviously didn't. He was claiming that I was making loud noise by the running around and jumping for the past 2 hours. I don't know if this guy was trying to scam the hotel out of a free night or what. But I guess there is potential for thin walls. In the morning I could hear lots of coming and goings but I wear ear plugs sleeping and was not affected by it.

Anonymous hotel in an area without architectural and environmental merit. Insufficient breakfast in the quality of food and drinks served. Even worse: the tables and chairs in the breakfast room are not enough to accommodate all the guests staying. Happen to have breakfast on your feet! Therefore, it is not recommended for groups.

One of the worst stays I have had in a while. I booked this reservation online. When we arrived at the hotel, the check-in process was terrible. Poor customer service; rude hotel personnel. No on-site parking; had to walk 1/2 block to park in a garage that is shared with another hotel. Checked in in a small room, was instructed to walk out the door, around the OUTDOOR pool, go through another door to get to the elevator to our room. It was very loud all night outside our room. The bathroom floor was disgustingly dirty, the shower faucet did not work very well, the water pressure (what water pressure? ) the shower head was too small and too low. The bed was VERY uncomfortable! The TV did not work when we arrived; had to call for someone to come up and fix it. Then we asked if we could extend our stay one more night, they wanted to charge us a higher room rate; stated that the rate changed every day due to occupancy. Packed up and checked out! Wouldn't stay at that hotel ever again. Am really considering if we EVER stay at a Choice Hotel again!

Great room at a great price. This was a last minute booking and I was pleased to find an available room at this price. Hotel staff were professional and friendly, room was clean and modern. Can't find one negative about this property.

Shower was broken, so asked front desk for a help. She said that there is no one else besides her in the morning, so she can't help me, but will try to find someone. 30min later, no call, so I called up again. She told me that she can't find anyone. I told her that I need to take a shower because I have to leave in 30min. She told me to come get a room key at the front desk. When I got to the front desk, she said that she found an engineer person, so he can check the shower, and if he can't fix it, she will give me another room. It was broken, so she gave me another room to take a shower, however, you can clearly tell that the room wasn't cleaned, soap and shampoo were used by someone, used towels were in the bathroom. I was disgusted. On top of that there was no apology at all by her nor engineer person. Very disappointed and will never use this hotel. Not recommended. She needs to work on the customer service skill.

The place is kind of hidden in the back of several other hotels in the same area next to the parking garages. Theres not much space to park your car to check in like most hotels. The room was nice and spacious. Clean room with privacy. It has a mini kitchen and a mini fridge as well as a microwave. Very convenient. The ac blew cold air and was not as loud as other hotels which is nice. The service was great and would return again in the future. Shuttle service is available to Lax airport.

Clean hotel. In a nice area. Rooms were nice and very clean. I even checked under the sheets and mattress topper. Staff was friendly. Pool was nice. Breakfast was hot and good. I did not have a need for parking so I have no idea how how much parking is available. I used the shuttle to the airport and I was pleased. Highly recommend this hotel. I would book with them again.

Stayed one night and was very pleased. There is a gates parking garage that staff gives you code for. I was disappointed there wasnt a room with 2 beds available for my cousin and I but the king bed was big enough for the both of us and very comfortable. The carpet and towels were a little stained but the room was a great size. Full size fridge, kitchen sink and microwave. The room smelled clean and fresh. The breakfast buffet was great, self made waffles, choice or original or blueberry, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, cereal, donuts croissants and. Choices of juices and coffees. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. The location is somewhat away from the airport but with the shuttle it really was good. The room was clean and it was supplied with the normal bathroom goodies with plenty of fresh towels. The bed was comfortable which is always important to me. Paint and shower fixtures were clearly fresh and new. We will be staying there again.

The check in time was awesome. The continental breakfast the best as always! The rooms were great all 10 of them! We are definitely going back next year! Thanks to the staff!

My husband and I stayed in here for one night after arriving late at the airport. Bed was comfortable, slept great. Was clean and the facilities were good. The pool area is in a courtyard but it closes at 9. It's blocked off from the street and the rest of the area which gives it a nice feel. The parking is tricky because you have to park in a garage down the street, away from the hotel. Overall it's a nice place for a evening but I wouldn't want to stay here for a long time. My husband was the only one that eat the buffet and he got sick later in the day. Overall that was acceptable for short stay. The clean comfy bed is really what we wanted and needed and it satisfied that.

I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was much more comfortable than other hotels I've stayed at with a similar price. And although I didn't use it, the kitchen was a nice touch. The parking lot was nice, although it didn't have an elevator so what we did was have someone get the car then load the bags. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The king size bed was amazing and it was close to the freeway so it made going to different locations much easier! The only problem were the pillows a bit to thick for me. Other then that amazing stay! :)

Great hotel. This is the second time that I've stayed at this hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I also loved their breakfast. I'll stay there again next time I'm in LA.

Great place. Very friendly staff. Always willing to help. Clean, tidy and great coffee! Even left our luggage there for the day at no extra cost while sightseeing. Will definitely stay again!

Overall the Comfort In certainly not bad. The rooms are big, tidy and with all necessary comforts. The staff is friendly and you will always from some nice little things like free chocolate bars or sweets at the reception surprised. The free Breakfast is in the typical American style, eaten from disposable plates and with plastic Cutlery. The food is always added and there are from day to day a little diversion. Ever-present Toast, waffles, Muffins, cereal, eggs, fruit, … and of course, coffee, tea and juice. Our room was on the ground floor and had two Queen-Size beds. Unfortunately, however (as with nearly all rooms on this floor) at a distance of about one Meter in front of the window a wall, so that only these could look. All in all, one can the Hotel for a few days recommend, but it is certainly not a holiday destination.

No issues with the hotel other than it was a looongggg walk around to my room. If the exit stair door in the lobby opened from the outside I could've been in my 3rd floor room before folks on the first floor. Other than this, it was a great spot, reasonably priced close to the airport to end a quick two day visit/tour of LA.

Really enjoyed staying here for our family vacation. We rented 2 rooms, and recommended a couple of friends to stay there during the same time. They went ahead an booked their rooms here too. It was 4 rooms in total, and we had no complaints. They were so comfortable and so much room for our things. It looked real nice inside, the breakfast was just right. And customer service was great. Will def be booking our future stays here, especially since its close to everything. (the only thing is the parking garage that is separate from the hotel. But its not too bad).

This was a great motel if you're needing to be close to the airport and want free parking, free Wi-Fi and a free breakfast! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was fresh and clean and was in a fantastic quiet street — no noise at all ;-) but also super close to a main road with all the amenities you could need. The free Wi-Fi worked well and the free breakfast had plenty of availability and variety. A big big thank you to the wonderful man who dropped us to our car rental depot after we had dropped our bags into reception. He didn't have to but he dropped us right at the depot rather than dropping us back to the airport to make our own way there. He was completely lovely and friendly. The only thing that didn't go so well was the airport shuttle pick up. Because we were travelling internationally and our mobile phones didn't work straight away we were unable to contact the property to advise them to pick us up. Not by fault of the property but the telephones at the airport didn't work either. Eventually the information desk was able to contact them for us however I would suggest that a prearranged pick up could be organised in future especially with international guests. So long as the property has flight numbers they can check if a flight is delayed or not before picking up. I would definitely recommend this property and I'm so glad we found this great place.

Dec 20, 2014: $99 (incl tax) Booked and stayed same day. Huge double bed room. Big fridge (didn't use) big micro wave — did use with food from Whole Foods. Clean and quiet. And. The windows opened; about 9 in. I like fresh air in the room. I've stayed at HI Express across street and windows are bolted shut. U have to use A/C. Would stay again. (Minor minus points: No easy chair. TV doesn't swivel. Moved table so I could eat and watch TV at same time. ) PS: Some rooms appeared to have balconies overlooking pool, in case you want to sit outside in summer.

Quiet and comfortable. The room met with our needs for the short stay here. Surrounding neighborhood seemed a bit run down. But not too badly.

I was very pleased, especially for the price. Room was nicely set-up, comfy bed, and was clean. The bathroom is strictly utility, but it does have a working whirlpool tub. There is a small pool that kids used, and the breakfast had some variety. There is in-room coffee, microwave, cooktop, and in my room (which was a corner) a full size fridge. It is close to LAX, the neighborhood is mixed, not terrible but not upscale. I stayed two nights and would go back for the service and value.
