I stayed here for my birthday weekend getaway. The room was huge and gorgeous. I love the fluffy pillows and firm mattress. It was nice having a mini fridge in the room. I put some sodas in it that I happened to have brought with me. My bathroom had a big whirlpool tub in it. Unfornuately I didn't get a chance to use it because a took a nice warm shower to wash all the ocean water and sand off of me before heading out to dinner. There is a nice little romantic Italian restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Perfect way to end the evening.

Nice place, clean, cozy, good location. Great breakfast. Easy check-in and check-out. Would stay there again.

The room, service and location were perfect for my trip. Close to many different stores and restaurants! Only thing that I was slightly disappointed about was that there wasn't a table in the room. I had to eat my food on the bar counter.

There was nothing wrong with this place, but there really wasn't anything that would draw me back. The room was clean and the service friendly, but there wasn't that extra special something. It would be great if you were just looking for somewhere to sleep for the night, but not exactly a romantic getaway. Proximity to the beach is a plus.

Nice rooms for a 3 start hotel. Friendly staff too. Next time I go to Santa Cruz I'll be staying here.

My wife and I stayed at Bella Notte to attend a job interview. We turned it into a stay-cation. Bella Notte is a short walk from the beach and close to shopping. It is a short drive to the Boardwalk. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago for our "babymoon. " We loved it. Beautifully decorated room, heated bathroom floor (it was January). And we walked across the street, through the neighborhood, to some breath taking beaches. Less than half a mile away. I would go back.

It was right off of a busy street but I did not hear any loud noises during night time. The owner was SUPER nice and helpful.

We stayed at Bella Notte for the night of our wedding. The room was lovely and the staff was amazing everyone was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that their parking lot is really small and when I had my bridal party to get ready parking was hard to find. But overall a great experience.

This hotel is incredible! The location is tough to beat. It is right near the ocean and getting a few views of the bay is awesome. I was so impressed with the staff and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I'm a big fan of this place and I'll be sure to come back.

Found this place 2 years ago when me & a girlfriend were in Santa Cruz visiting & for whale watching on the Velocity! I told my husband when I got home we found a diamond in the rough in Santa Cruz! Amazing, quaint small hotel. Close to beach fine dining & shopping. We are staying here again for a big family party! My husband was just as impressed as we were. Santa Cruz hotel (even the crumby ones) can be very costly! This really is reasonable & fits all your needs! Walk in closet, fireplace, large room! We've been very satisfied. Will definitely stay here again!

Friendly and courteous staff. Clean rooms, nice hot showers. Great to have a full continental breakfast.

Our family stumbled upon this hotel on our drive down the CA coast and we couldn't have been more impressed with our whole experience. Traveling with a small child has been quite a challenge and this hotel was more than accommodating! Our room was very spacious, nicely decorated, and the breakfast was great, with a variety of things to choose from. Thank you!

Just stopped in at the groom's room to change before the wedding, but the owner or manager came out to congratulate the groom before we left and let us keep one of our cars parked there for the day despite having checked out. The room was nice and clean with a decent view. I'll keep it in mind next time I need to stay the night in Santa Cruz.

You will absolutely love this place. The rooms are very large, spacious, and beautifully decorated in an understated and elegant English style. The breakfast was amazing, I would defy you to find a better breakfast anywhere. We can't say enough about how helpful, accommodating and pleasant the owners were. This place is a jewel. We were looking for a charming place for our anniversary. Not only did it exceed our expectations, but we also enjoyed those who run Bella Notte. They were very warm and friendly. We bought some fruit from a stand nearby and they got us a knife and cutting board. Later when I needed pizza reheated not only did they heat it but wrapped it with saran wrap! We highly recommend the Bella Notte to anyone looking for an experience in Santa Cruz!

The Bella Notte Inn is a charming jewel of a hotel situated just outside of the hustle and bustle of the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. From the beautifully appointed guest rooms to the lavish breakfast spread, I wouldn't dream of staying elsewhere on my next trip to Santa Cruz. Nor should you! Highly highly recommend. It's perfect location to enjoy the delights of Santa Cruz, yet tucked away in a peaceful quiet location. Bonus: heated bathroom floors, and the same toiletries that The Venetian in Las Vegas uses. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful mini-vacation!
