Too far from Airport and nothing to see. Poor standard of accommodation. Breakfast poor.

Friendly front desk staff.    Rooms are big, beds are comfortable.    No breakfast but there is a diner in the lobby and free 24hr Leann's cafe. Close to the airport and free shuttle bus. Wifi perfect.

Premises were filthy. Trash all over parking lot and sidewalks. Looks like room got the quickest vacuum ever without any concern to make sure sure dirt and crud along edges and corners was cleaned up. Only positive was no bed bugs.

Rooms are great, beds are super comfortable. They don't have queen beds so it's a bit cramped for 2 people to sleep on one full size bed. Leann's cafe (24hrs) is fantastic — great food, affordable prices. Close to the airport and convenient to access.

There was a little mix up at the beginning of my stay that shook me a little, but otherwise it was ok. The room was very clean and quiet. A lot of people smoke on the stairs so be prepared for that. I noticed several reviews about the shuttle. I did get a driver who wasn't very nice when I took the wrong one, but the drivers for this hotel have been lovely and very prompt. I used the shuttle many times because it is the easiest way to a BART station.

We were out here working a construction job at a school nearby and decided to stay at this motel. Well, one of our work trucks with thousands of dollars in equipment got stolen overnight. The front desk tells us they don’t have a single camera overlooking their own parking lot, say it’s not their problem. Cop shows up to take a report and tells us these car thefts happen all the time on this property and they still won’t put up cameras. Basically paid a $10 parking fee just to get our truck stolen. Unbelievable.

The Bay Area is expensive, the hotels are equally so. With this information in mind, the Red Roof Plus is a more affordable choice. The location is close to the airport and about mid point between San Jose and San Francisco. It's location next to the Bay itself makes for a great evening stroll or morning jog. The room : well, they've recently done an upgrade so it has all the amending one could want with basic lodging. Flat screen TV, microwave, USB ports and plugs, refrigerator, Iron. They all function well and are in just about all but the basic rooms. The negatives include these thin sheets, flat pillows, horrible towels, and mediocre bath products. The Staff: most of these workers can't do enough for you, they really are the difference. The Red Roof is a basic hotel that offers clean and safe lodgings at prices that are considered a affordable in the San Francisco Bay area. There's a shuttle to the airport and coffee in the lobby (which is okay at best). The dinner attached is 24 hours and pretty good, although you do leave smelling like grilled foods.

Good business-stay hotel room with surprisingly good room quality. Clearly these rooms have been updated recently. Pay no attention to the "lobby experience", that's not what you are paying for. The attached 24x7 restaurant is a nice bonus. $25 Lyft ride from the airport.

I am a business traveler and find this property a great value and easy to book. I like the 24 hour restaurant and the food is not bad and the price is fair. Overall, great value and easy access to the 101.

Pubic hair in the shower, dust bunnies by the bed. And an envelope to leave the maid a tip. Also did not honor a request for a 1 hour late checkout after being a loyal customer for 8 years. I am sure there are other cleaner hotels nearby that value their returning customers.

I realize this hotel is just convenient and a one night stay but it was an experience. The room smelled funny to start. Then. At midnight. They gave another family our room as they put our room number wrong in the computer. Thank God my wife had chained the door so they couldn't get in. I then received a phone call from the front desk asking who I was. They apologized for the mistake but imagine how much we jumped when someone had access to our room at midnight. When we arrived back from vacation the shuttle bus that comes every half hour decided not to stop on the first pass thru. I had been trying to call the hotel but they didn't answer. When they finally answered half hour later I asked that the shuttle actually stop and pick us up like they are supposed to. The advice I got from them was take a shuttle located near by and just walk the rest of the way. Wow… instead of telling the shuttle driver to stop at the places he's supposed to. Walk at 10 PM at night from a near by hotel. How is that good business? Spend a few extra dollars and get a decent room and better staff.

Nice motel, but questionable staff. We were awoken at 11:55 pm by someone opening the door to our room. Turns out that they were legitimate customers checking into our room. The key word here? OUR room. Here we are, in a dead sleep at midnight on a Tuesday, and they double booked our room. The chain on the door is the only thing that prevented an awkward and potentially violent encounter, in the dark, in a hotel room. Absolutely unacceptable. We've thus far been unsuccessful in reaching management to fill them in on our experience.

Loved our stay. Great hot tub and pool plus free breakfast. All rooms offer an outside balcony or patio.

Worst service I have ever received. My boyfriend and I travel regulary, staying at almost 100+ hotels and have never received service like this. The rooms smell horrible. There is mold growing on the shower corners. The bed sheets were worn, and they sent us to the wrong room? We ended up fortunately getting a refund. The only nice part about the experience was the beautiful South San Francisco.

Unfortunately there was an item under our bed that was missed in the cleaning prior to our arrival. I don't know how you miss a bright pink dildo that was practically sticking out from under the bed skirt, but damn! I mean, I know that it's an airport hotel, so there's a lot of traffic. Certainly made me question if anyone actually cleaned, though. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard place.

Very good service, and the no charge. For the expensive, it's free. Very recommended for the family.

This place is clean and close to BART if you are staying for a while. Parking is tough some nights even thou they charge you to park in the lot. Restaurant attached is very good. Open 24/7. All in all, a good place to stay. Very safe neighborhood.

This facility has definitely improved over the last 18 months. The front office staffing has improved in that they are much more customer friendly and knowledgeable. The maintenance staff has also been improved. They certainly do deserve t he + in their name. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

More suitable for temporary residence, but these days are always at night Wi-Fi problems, in the morning and restore their own.

It's not what they say as a suite and the truth seemed like a regular room.

It is a decent place with reasonable price considering the high price in San Francisco. No breakfast but there is a dinner in the lobby and free 24hr coffee. Rooms location is like a maze and some walkways are not sheltered. Bed is comfortable but overall room is not clean. No toothbrush nor paste in the room, so be prepared. My friend got a torn fresh towel in a different room. Overall service is good though.

So… There is no cheaper hotel in the area… all well over 200 dollars… has already come down pretty much… but you can book it for the night… The Mexican cleaning lady gives herself a lot of trouble and leaves a clean room and bathroom… Blood stains at the door… you can only guess what has expired… Reception not exactly helpful… all in all I would not recommend… to park directly in San Fran… across from Pier 27… 12 hours for $25… do not park at Pier 39, there it costs $3 for 15 minutes… and still what… Parking fee per night for $10. Must probably pay the silly touri, other numbers namely Nix.

The location was very nice. The travel agency had booked us a family room (2 adults and 2 children), and the butcher stipulated 2 language beds size.
Computer problem the night of our arrival. 1st room Proposed: 1seul bed, certainly king size but it's still a bit just for 4.
Second bedroom: We're trying to get back, but she was already busy.
3rd bedroom: 2 beds of 120-130cm and not enough room for our 4 suitcase.
The receptionist refuses to find any solution, almost aggressive. No commercial gesture.
An employee who took care of the household kindly offers us an inflatable mattress… that will deflate 1h after lying down!
No breakfast included.

A spacious room and especially a bathroom where you can dance. The room is safe, refrigerator, microwave, powerful climate-conrol cold/heat, coffee machine.

We used this hotel (if so you can call it) because comfortable to sleep on the last night before resuming the plane back home. Dirty Hotel, room and sheets blatantly not clean. Parking fee $10 per day. Definitely better than the double tree or the Hilton next door since it still costs 150euro a night.

The only advantage is the proximity to the airport, at a Stoppover before the return flight. The motel is noisy, the surroundings loud, the service is worthy of improvement. We would not book it again.

Good hotel with diner in Flugahfennähe.

Beware of the fine print. They charge $10 a day for parking. This despite the display on Google the there is free parking. The rooms are dingy but clean. Close to the airport but has difficult freeway access. When I checked in the clerk gave me a room that was already occupied and I needed to have second one given to me.

I could not enter but the place was clean.

Convenient to restaurants and the airport. Room was clean and newer styled. Had a microwave, fridge, and a safe. I love the desks… exactly what more places need! Perfect for a stay before a cross country flight.

I checked in recently in December 2015. Though the rates might seem great, at $109 / day it is atrocious. This place shouldn't be called a hotel but it is a motel in all senses. After 9-9:30 PM you could see pimps driving in with their ladies and standing near the rear block. You could literally ssee folks doing pot and what not. do not land up here with your family.

Hotel claims the shuttle for every 30mins, I waited over 60mins for the airport shuttle. The room is just ok.

If you want to be late for your flight, choose Redwood Roof Inn Shuttle Service. Driver forgets to pickup at scheduled :54 past the hour. Next pickup is not until :24 past the hour. Head over to Double Tree across the street for timely service to the Airport. :)

The room was clean and staff was nice, but VERY NOISY hotel. Walls are so thin that you can hear everything outside and in the next door rooms. We are usually sound sleepers, but the sound of trucks, cars, guests passing next to our door, neighbors showering, airplanes overhead was so loudly audible that it was as though it was all happening next to our beds. I could hear and understand the conversations that were happening in the parking lot and I was on the SECOND floor. The room heater also sounded like a gasoline generator. We did not get any rest at all.

Great location near SFO. I stayed here 3 nights while visiting San Francisco. It is about a 30 min drive to Fishermans Wharf. I drove there then took the hop on hop off tour which saved me from having to drive in the crazy paced SFO traffic. The 24 hr on site resturant has great food. Definitely would stay again.

Ok for price. But their airport shuttle stranded us at 12pm. Took us an hour to get a cab instead cause the stupid shuttle couldnt find us at the airport.

Repairs needed and a good cleaning crew. Blinds were splattered with. Looks like food. Internet could not be picked up in the room. When asked where to find the business center, I was informed the business center is the lobby. Changed rooms. Only to find the fan in the bathroom broken. This place needs some loving care.

An old place with decent rooms and no frills whatsoever. They seem to rent most of their rooms for Asian tour groups and airline crew accommodation at what I’m sure are far lower prices than you or I pay. The lack of a free breakfast brings up the cost, and the attached restaurant leaves much to be desired. They tack on $1.50 to your bill for the room safe. If you make a special point of going to the desk the following day and asking for the charge to be removed, they will do that, but most people probably don’t. This is the only thing that really ticks me off about the place, and the main reason I’ll try to find another hotel on my next trip out of SFO. I didn’t need to, but it looks like you also have to pay extra to print a boarding pass. Avoid rooms far from the office, because the Wi-Fi won’t work.

My company booked me three nights at the Red Roof Inn — Burlingame, Ca. Sorry to say but this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The noise was atrocious; I had to call the front desk several times to get them to disperse people outside my door. That were talking and smoking and carrying on. Finall at 3:00 am I had enough. I called the front desk and was very blunt with the night manager who will remain unnamed. He offered to move me (at 3:00 am) which I declined. He also agreed to credit my stay one night. Needless to say I cancelled my third night. I also cancelled my upcoming stay for the following week (4 nights). The check in experience was just as bad. It took the front desk guy 20 minutes to check me in. He kept getting distracted and would do a little at a time. I asked for top floor. He gave me mid floor. Suffice to say, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, the sheets felt like sandpaper and my toilet didn't flush. Gross.

I enjoyed it. Good price. Good location.

Located 10 minutes from the airport of San Francisco, Shuttle service. Very friendly, excellent service. I had booked online $159, double bed very clean, TV, fridge, hot shower! Affordable restaurant open 24/7.

The hotel has spacious and modern rooms with double bed, air conditioning, double sink fridge, large-screen Tv, ironing facilities, rte and safe. Clean, good price.

Fair Price, Nice Location and Near SFO Int'l Airport.

Very good price, comfortable spacious rooms, clean, has refrigerator, microwave, safe, trouser press, desk, coffee maker, bathroom with restroom, plasma, a 20-minute by 5-lane highway to the center of the city, free Wi-Fi and fast, free parking, impeccable swimming pool with deck chairs and beach umbrellas, ice machine. More you can ask of a hotel for this price. It would come with great pleasure.

Since we arrived at reception attended us very kindly. Clean room with good smell and flawless floor. 24-hour coffee shop. We were not long but we passed it very well. It would stay, I recommend it.
