First off the staff for the most part was great. Yesterday when we checked in they upgraded us and put us on the top floor in a small suite with a great view of the bay and city. That being said the rest of our stay turned into a nightmare. Our room was type that was connected with a door to another suite. At 8:30 PM our neighbors, a full group of people arrived very loud obviously drunk from a wedding party. They were yelling or “drunk talking” and with the shared door it s…ounded like they were in our same room. We listened to F*ck this and F*ck that for the next couple of hours. They also were going in and out of their rooms slamming they heavy hotel door every five minutes till about 10:30 PM. They must have left for a bit because it got quite but that only lasted till 12:30 AM. My wife and I️ were exhausted from working a weekend event at AT&T Ball Park. We were sleeping hard when they came back and continued where they left off abruptly waking us up. After a few hard knocks on the wall as an attempt to quite them down I️ made a call to front desk. Security came and talked to them twice but they keep it up. Instead of moving them to a different room or upgrading us to a better suite security asked my wife and I️ to pack our bags this being at 1:30 AM and move down four floors to a different room. Honestly this pissed me off but being too exhausted to fight it, we complied. The hotel did make a simple but weak gesture to make us happy by comping a small room service bill. Honestly the whole ordeal was way more of a inconvenience than the bill was worth. The next morning we left. All and all not sure I️ could recommend the W to my own company staff or friends.
