Customer service was not the best. I found a stain in the bed so I slept on top of the sheets. Our family would not stay here again. The pool was decent and it was a short walk to the pier. Only pros from me.

The only regret I would say the bar closed at 9 pm, … It would be great for guests to be opened up to 11 pm 😅

The location was good but there were bugs in my room. I brought it to the attention of the front desk staff several times and I was told that housekeeping would take care of it but they didn’t.

The location was good. It's by the wharf and pier 39. Parking is overpriced. $62 for valet. There is parking available for the hotel off site for $44 a night. It's about a block and a half away. Not to far. Customer service was poor. My phone didn't work and I had a stained blanket on the bed. I went down twice in the morning and asked for it to be changed. They assured me it would. I came home at 9pm. Same stained blanket on the bed. I went down to front desk because my phone wasn't working very mad and told them I would change it myself so they brought the linens to me. No offer of restitution. It's a dog friendly place ut no where fie the dog to go to bathroom. No outside sitting area. I won't stay here again.

There were plenty of positives about this hotel. The location was great, and the staff was courteous. The one star review is for the money grabbing. When booking online, you’ll pay for your stay, but don’t think you’re done paying. When you check out, they will hit you with all kinds of fees and taxes. Get ready to pay another $30 a night for something called a “destination fee”. They don’t let you pay for the stay all at once when booking online. If they did, they wouldn’t fit into their desired search criteria range.
Also, their website said that self parking was available for $50. Well that $50 turned into $70 a night. They told me it was now $62 because Covid is over and they are now allowed to use valet again. Well when they told me it was now $62, they also conveniently left o it the “parking tax” which is another $8.00 on top of that, each night.
Also, $4 for a can of small pringles at their store? Come on. Besides the hidden fees and money grabbing, the room wasn’t worth the money. The sliding bathroom door, and the lack of a bathroom exhaust fan; doesn’t leaves a lot of room for privacy when using the bathroom. I can overlook that though, if it wasn’t for them hitting me with all the hidden cost, this might have been a 5 star review. Just have the customer pay all the cost upfront when booking online. No one enjoys being hit with $500+ more dollars than expected at the end of their trip!

$45 to park during the pandemic while everything is closed and the city is like a ghost town? Thats ridiculous, I pumped $2 in a parking meter right in front of the hotel which is closer then their parking garage. Never ceases to amaze me how these companies will gouge you any chance they get. Being loyal to the brand doesn’t mean being stupid. They should take care of the few customers they much better then this. The rooms are small and the view is of another building (horrible). I should have stayed at Holiday Inn for half the price.

Nice location and very clean nothing extravagant for the price but this is San Francisco I cant expect anything less (price wise)! I really was disappointed that you have to pay $45 parking when I specifically chose that in booking the hotel, other than that it served the purpose!

Great hotel, excellent staff. Not much human waste on the streets, not too many insane drug addicts in the area like most of SF.

Aesthetically nice, high ceilings, brick wall facing, large bathroom. Carpets were clean. Charging stations by each bed. However, our room faced a side street. All night I heard street noises including delivery trucks and metal banging. Breakfast not included unless an Elite Hyatt member. Standard buffet is $18. We walked to Beach St Grill and got a wider selection and gluten free options for less.

Pretty good hotel and location. Impressive bathroom/shower and they look completely remodeled. Only downside was the room wasn't very well lit. Helpful front desk staff.

Great location in fisherman's wharf. The staff were great very nice. There is nothing special about the rooms but they are nice and quaint. If you want to be close to the wharf I would recommend the Hyatt.

An above average hotel for San Francisco. If it was situated somewhere else, I would have rated it below average. Nice design, ok amenities. Overpriced like everything else in SF. Good location, close to transportation. Heated pool and 24 hr fitness center is a plus. The room was spacious enough for SF.

I love the newly renovated lobby. It looks very modern. I also like the fact that they moved the concierge desk from the bottom of the escalator into a more visible location in the lobby.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. We had forgotten all the money from the holiday in the vault of the room but we recovered it in its entirety the day after we left.

The hotel is very well located and very friendly.

Be careful about what has been agreed with Reception. Our rooms had been prepaid but unfortunately one of our party was unable to attend thus leaving a room free. Originally our sons planned to share a room but to their delight had the opportunity to have their own room. However the Receptionist offered an alternative of which we accepted — a refund of the room cost (except the first night). The hotel have now chosen to ignore the verbal agreement and point out their terms & conditions and have now refused a refund. If they were honest in the first place I wouldn't have a problem but to be lied to is a different matter!

It was awesome to stay there. Very complete hotel, it's big, well equipped, the rooms are big and sound isolation is pretty good, nobody will annoy you. The staff is very nice and they will help you in anything, as expected. Food was also pretty nice and varied. Totally recommended.

Flew in to catch the Warriors-Rockets Game 4 playoff Game 4 and stayed at the Hyatt Centric FW for two nights. Was upgraded to a very large deluxe King. I love nice-sized bathrooms and showers. Special kudos to GM Greg Nomura and Operations Lenon Maravillas to ensure I was treated well. Great buffet offerings for breakfast. All the staff members were very friendly, esp the staff at Wardroom. Love the very convenient location too.

Great place to stay. Staff are very friendly, warm, welcoming & very efficient. The hotel is very clean, rooms are cozy, spacious and very good amenities. The gym is well equipped & spacious pool. It is walking distance to majority of main attractions in San Francisco. Breakfast at the Brick & Beam is very good, very good menu choices and the buffet is very good as well. We highly recommend this place.

-The hotel location is good. The restaurant options are limited. The issue we had was that the concierge failed to give concise instructions for the Alcatraz tour which resulted in us missing it and wasting hundreds of dollars! When asked for a refund she acted like her hands were tied and she didn’t bear any responsibility. The other big red bus tour clerk showed us the voucher we should’ve gotten though, if I had those written instructions then I would have been able to get to the right place and enjoyed my tour!

The market place was a bit over priced on most all the items and there is only one microwave over in the entire building, none in the rooms.

Very comfortable Hotel. The checkin was quick and in a moment was already in the room after 14 hours of travel. This was large and spacious, with views to the back street of the hotel (Bay St). Day is a fairly lively area but at night it is absolutely desert. There are quite a few vagrants around (as in all SF), but they go to yours. If you come by public transport, as was my case, there is a bus stop (line 47) in the corner of the hotel and behind the hotel is the start stop of the cablecar Powell-Mason St. In addition, very close to also has a tram stop. In summary, it is an option to consider in SF. My stay was very good in this hotel, always clean and mpersonal very nice.

It is the best! The service is very friendly, always anxious to provide the best information possible. Some receptionists speak English which makes the experience more familiar to some. You can send packages purchased through the internet and recepcionarlos at no additional cost. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping is first class. The rooms have 2 large beds and very good distribution. The price is high for my budget but is a very good experience.

Everyone there was super nice and we had great service! We got there early in the morning not sure if we have a room ready since check in was at 3, but Luz got us a room set up and it was one of the bigger ones and it was great! The room was super clean and the view was not bad. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is very well, perfectly located in the fisherman's Warf district, just a few steps from the piers and restaurants.
The rooms are large, the bedding comfortable, and I enjoyed the little more like the JBL Bluetooth alarm clock that allows you to relax with some music!
The pool is a plus, even if outdoors and not very hot, especially for a month of January!

The place is super central, Fisherman's wharf, modern rooms with many USB connections.

The hotel looked a little old but my stay here was really comfortable. The room was pretty spacious. Maintenance was really good. The buffet breakfast in the morning was just perfect. I didn't have to pay for my hotel, so not sure about the price. But I liked my stay here a lot.

Nn has free parking for customers pay $59 per day not recommended.

Beautiful hotel, in an equally beautiful area of San Francisco. It was a very nice hotel. Large beds with soft mattresses and pillows, also the bathroom is large, clean and comfortable. Possibility to use the swimming pool, located on the third floor, of the laundry (which dries also the cloths) and other services. I was really very sidinmade of my stay. Really a super recommended hotel.

Wife and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway trip! This is a great hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great location, good breakfast restaurant and the staff at the front desk and the concierge really took care of us. There is also a sports bar called the Brick & Beam attached to the hotel that is a decent spot to grab a quick bite or cocktail before heading out to explore SF. Rooms are fine. Pillows were a little flat for my needs but bed was good. Next time I may try to get a Suite so we have a little more room but it was fine. For us early risers there is a breakfast/Starbucks type store setup by the front desk with coffee, food, muffins and other snacks and drink for purchase before the hotel restaurant opens. You can walk to almost any spot on the Warf from this hotel. This hotel made our anniversary trip very special and we appreciated it.

It’s in a convenient location, within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. Checking in and out were painless and the hotel was very accommodating with my request for early check-in. Room was big and had all the amenities I needed. If you're an Elton John fan, check out the life-size image of the man at the reception. The only issue I had was the surprise extra charge on my credit card a few weeks later, for an expense I did not incur. I called the hotel to report the issue and they refunded me the amount, no questions asked.

A great hotel to stay in the tourist area, where in just 10 minutes you can get to Pier 39-one of the iconic places of the city.
Comfortable, cozy rooms with wide and soft beds, large plasma and all possible amenities. I do not know why, but especially strongly to my soul West refrigerator, which here decided to place in the closet. At first I could not find a hair dryer, had to go downstairs and figure out where he is. It turned out that the hair dryer is in every room in the table under the TV, lies with the nozzles in a special pouch.
The inconvenience was finding an outlet that would be next to a mirror to use this very hair dryer. On the last day of the stay one such was discovered skillfully hidden on the table in the room, the right of the TV.
At the information desk, you can ask for an adapter for local outlets, and leave your luggage for as long as you wish.
By the way, the views from the windows are so-so. Do not count on much.

The care and cleaning of the room first. Rooms large, comfortable and with pleasant temperature. The room has TV with cable, telephone, Wi-Fi and a fridge. Closet with safety deposit box (additional cost), iron and ironing board to iron clothes. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Features elevators, laundry services (additional cost). A further point in its favor is the central location that it has and the attention second to none.

I was going to check out at noon and each time I left in the morning, they would ask if I'm leaving yet but I was just going downstairs to eat breakfast. The breakfast wasn't great but I was here with a big group. And for whatever reason, they seem to deliver ice late in the afternoon. Called the front desk to ask and they said that's what housekeeping does…

Location of this hotel is great, although it's not close to downtown, but here can easily reach the pier. And the room condition is excellent, but not all the room come with bath. The swimming pool is awesome, but it's not really in a open area and surrounded by rooms. Staffs are friendly, and they although care about their customers. Nice stay here. The only complaint is the room a bit noisy, not sure the music is come from the pool or other room, but I always heard music at night.

Superb hotel — from the lobby to the room, an excellent stay here over a few nights for an awesome summit with many others. Rooms were modern and beds were very comfy. The rooms have plenty of space and include new large screen televisions as well. In terms of noise, it is very quiet and you'll be able to sleep soundly. Staff was helpful, only unfortunate thing was not being called when my room was ready when it was promised. Regardless, a great stay in a great location.

Excellent hotel! I stayed at this hotel as part of a conference. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. The event space was nice and great for hosting a reception for 200 people. The hotel rooms were spacious, airy, and clean. The only complaint is that the elevator is a bit of an inconvenience. There's one on the main floor lobby where you enter and the other two elevators are on a lower level and to get to these elevators you have to take an escalator or staircase. Can be cumbersome if you have luggage or difficult if you're in a wheelchair.

The Hyatt Centric was perfectly modern and minimalist. Loved the blue ocean mural behind my bed and definitely appreciate the higher end hair dryers found in the room. The hotel is a short walk away from the cable car boarding and Ghiradelli Square. Would highly recommend!

Hyatt Centric could not be in a better location in San Francisco. It has a beautiful Lobby & reception area on multiple levels. Rooms are not luxurious but nicely appointed except there is only one comfortable chair to sit on & watch TV. A 2d occupant has to sit on the end of the bed. The room is equipped with a safe for storing valuables. Basic bottled drinking water is at European prices. $5.00 for one quart bottle. The hotel did a great job setting up & serving our breakfast buffet. Liked the see thru lids of the serving containers. The hotel grand beds recently placed in each guest room are comfortable. Although the costs were picked up by our sponsor, the daily hotel room rate is much higher than what we would pay in Texas. Great hotel!

I would highly recommend the Hyatt. The location was in perfect walking distance of so many attractions. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in early because the room was ready. They room was cozy And clean. The bed was also incredible. I will definitely stay there again the next time I go to San Francisco.

I planned this trip on short notice through Expedia. I did not have a lot of time to do research on this hotel. This was an amazing trip and stay at this amazing hotel. The front desk and concierge helped surprise my wife with flowers from a local florist in my room when we arrived. Every member of the staff was nice. The room was very modern and very comfortable. The location was perfect, with in walking distance of everything. I can go on forever on all the amazing things, I will sum it up with a BIG THANK YOU!

Not a bad hotel as far as hotels go, but hotel management poorly handled informing guests of the ‘union protests’ that woke us up at 7am and went on till 6pm. Apparently this has happened frequently over the years, so I find it hard to understand why they handled it so badly. A letter under the door would have been welcome, rather than trying to work out what’s going on for ourselves. On the other hand, the rest of the staff were great. The room was comfortable, and the location good pretty good.

Nice location near fisherman's warf and comfortable and clean rooms. A few oddities to place means you have to take the elevator, even to the second floor to get back to a room or down to the meeting rooms. Only an issue if you're staying with a large group. Staff have been nice, but it took some time to get our room. We had to wait until almost 7:00pm before it was clean. Overall a fine place, just needs to keep working on some of the details and consider the needs of customers in the next remodel.

Hyatt Centric is a elegant hotel with a prime location in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf, but the insanely expensive parking (60 bucks per night! ), subpar and expensive breakfast resturant in house and a demonstration against the employees not unionizing really took the experience down. I'm sure you could find cheaper, better alternatives nearby.

The location so perfect due, there is much to do here. The rooms are very clean and the TVs are new.

Location, location, location. This hotel is in a perfect spot to access the wharf, the Alcatraz ferry, ghiradelli square, and virtually anything else you are looking to do down in this area. The facility itself would likely only get 3-3.5 stars, but the staff pushes it to a four. Pros: — The rooms have some of the more modern convenience offered to travelers including convenient ports, etc. — As to be expected the "basics" are there too, including blackout curtains that work, AC that blows nice and cold, and other basics. — The concierge in particular was GREAT with recommendations — Front desk staff was curtious and helpful. We did not need any "special" considerations while we were here, but I got the feeling if I did they would take care of it. Cons: — Bathrooms in particular are underwhelming. They made the mistake of not sealing the grout when they tiled the bathrooms (or at least ours) so you can expect your bathroom floor to look almost like a public shower at a campground. Ultimately if the bathrooms were up to the standards of the rest of the room I would likely have given this a 5 star.

Staff are very polite, and the rooms are quite comfortable, including the couch! I could totally take a nap on it. Parking is 25 a day, unlimited in and out. That was super nice considering finding parking is usually a headache for me when I travel.

This is a really nice hotel. On new yrs eve, they had hot apple cider and cookies in the lobby on the way to the elevator. Service here is friendly and attentive. The rooms are decorated more old English style. The marble shower provided a nice touch and was very clean. Housekeeping was very nice and left us a note while also providing us w/ chocolates for the turn down.

Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf is conveniently located in Fisherman's Wharf with easy access to attractions, cable cars and street cars. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were especially impressed with Assistant Manager Charles Kwon who, upon learning that we were celebrating a birthday and anniversary during our stay, made sure that our stay was memorable. We were blown away by the customer service. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to San Francisco.

This Hyatt is located right in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf — walking distance to the Alcatraz Ferryboat tours, Madame Tussaud, Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, LOTS of great restaurants & shops, art galleries — you name it. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms very very clean, and spacious. We had a 2 Double bed city view room and were very happy. Our room overlooked the Cable Car turnaround which was kind of neat to see every day. The pillows and comforter — very soft, clean and comfy! The only thing that wasn't great was the food — it was mediocre, but not bad. The breakftast buffet isn't very large and I thought the price was a bit high compared to the quality, BUT the hotel paid for our breakfast since it was our anniversary — so we did eat breakfast there a couple mornings. Soaps, shampoos, and lotions are nicer than a lot of hotels, and they have Starbucks coffee in the room. Overall we fully enjoyed our stay — and will stay here again!

The hotel is at a prime location on the wharf with ample options to eat. The rooms are clean and comfy. Outdoor pool and spa was a nice way to relax after a day in the city. Quick service any time of the day was an added bonus. Complimentary basic Internet available. The roomlink system for TV was a little dated and cumbersome to use.

Both people who serving as concierge looked less-than-happy to help me and the other guests who approached them. The heated pool and spa were great. The hotel location is fantastic for tourists. I also never waited long for Lyft from this spot.

This is a great hotel that I stayed in many times in the past. The location is great for getting to the financial district within a short amount of time, while saving on hotel costs. The hotel restaurant provides good food and the close proximity to Fisherman's Wharf helps take your mind away from bossiness.

Good location for fisherman's wharf area, but quite a walk to city centre. Fantastic service and very helpful staff. Amazingly comfortable beds and linen! TV was very modern and too hard to use (roller ball remote). Breakfast was better than many places in the USA but does not compare to what you can get overseas. Loved our stay!

Great experience. I stayed in the executive suite, using points + cash and a diamond suite upgrade. One of the better Hyatt rooms I've stayed in. I cant wait until they finish their renovations, so I can check out the lounge.

The hotel is in a great location, with lots to do within walking distance. There is a nice eatery attached and the rooms look very pleasing to the eye. The downside to the hotel is parking fees, which is $50.00 for the day. Your only other option is to park a block and a half down the street for $32.00. Another downside to the hotel was in the room Internet service This was $12.00 a day. The standard room I had booked was already running $200 for the night, so learning ibwas going to have to shell out another $62.00 for basic amenities I found a bit shocking, and if I had known of ahead of time, I most likely would of booked another hotel instead.

Very nice hotel with very helpful staff. We only stayed in this hotel for 2 days during a weekend visit to San Francisco, but we really enjoyed our stay. The location is superb! The hotel is right on Columbus Ave and steps to Fisherman's Wharf, so it's very safe there throughout the day and night. The bed was comfortable and there was ample space in the room for all our things and our little dog. The only possible drawback is that breakfast is not included, but with so many great breakfast places around it was not a problem at all. Recommending this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Best hotel ever. The food? Amazing, there's loud heavy metal blasting in the hall way, and free donuts everywhere. I can't say enough, there's a puppy in every room, and a fish tank. And you can take the fish out of the tank bring it to the chef and he will COOK IT FOR YOU! That's what I call hospitality! The best hotel ever! And if that's not enough, every room has a full kitchen, living room, and gold plated tvs! And glass slippers, and onion carriages bring you to the hotel from the airport! Stay there please! It's the best.

Great rooms. Great service. Pricey. Weird set up with elevator in lobby. Only one elevator used for entire hotel.

If you are a person with a physical disability, do not stay here. Totally inaccessible. We get to enter in and out of the hotel at the employee entrance with my wheelchair, which doesn't do stairs well, but that's all there is (stairs) when you enter this building. It's a great mystery to solve entrance and exit. Not good. Not good.

I was pleasantly surprised with my one night stay at this Hyatt as it's cleaner, updated more spacious and better maintained than the nearby Sheraton. While my room on a lower floor was a bit loud (garbage trucks, traffic, etc. ), it wasn't unbearable. Bathrooms are huge and beds are comfortable.

Great location and friendly staff. Terrible bed and dirty tub! The hotel was undergoing remodeling during our visit so there was noise of construction during the day and a high school prom bumping music directly beneath us until midnight. Hope if you visit this hotel you have better luck. The wharf and the city were fantastic.

A Hytt Hotel what so bad is I have the world has not yet experienced. The house was in a total renovation. Very loud, very long way to the rooms. No Restaurant and no Bar open. But the full price. The staff at the Checkin absolutely uninterested in relation to the problems of the guests. I immediately after a night, which is paid for in full, and had to be pulled out again.

This was my worst experience ever. On check-up I figured out there are no smoking rooms at this hotel at all. I got the room very far from the elevators, room was OK but nothing special, bathroom was not very clean. Personal in the hotel seems to be unhappy and not very friendly. You will not get anything free here. They have very poor choice of breakfast in the lobby every morning. Just a coffee will cost you about $4 here. Restaurant menu doesn't offer many choices too and prices there was really high. The cherry on the pie was check-out. As a hotel guest I had to pay $57 every day for car parking! Will never ever use this hotel again.

After some confusion fishing for reasonable hotel prices I accidentally won a bid to the Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf via (Priceline) and purposely booked at The Marriott Marquis. A few hours later I discovered the Priceline booking and tried to cancel, lets just say Hyatt Fishermans Wharf was not understanding. In calling the Hyatt I had been informed they couldn't cancel the booking due to it being booked via thrid party. So I called Priceline, they said it would be the responsibility of the Hyatt to authorized the cancellation. Being more than accommodating Priceline agreed to a three way call to figure this out. During that call the Hyatt representative escalated the call and stated calling back multiple times would not change their answer regarding cancelling the room. When the manager got on the call he informed us he would not do any type of refund, Priceline could refund my payment. The Hyatt would not reimburse Priceline, he could go ahead and cancel the stay with no refund though. Frustrated and a little worried I'd have to eat 650 dollars in hotel costs I called The Marriott Marquis, Nothing but class and understanding. My room was canceled with ease. Thank goodness and shame on you Hyatt, can't wait for my stay.

This place was awesome. We had some troubles when we first got there due to booking through a third party. However, they took wonderful care of us and made sure that we were happy. The hotel was clean and every staff personnel greeted us with a smile and always seemed happy.

Super Hotel, we felt really welcomed and Loshanna did a great job. Patiently answered all our questions and she was very courteous. The Concierge even gave us a discount voucher for the Fog Harbor Restaurant. The breakfast is astonishing. Really really good.

I was pleased with this Hyatt. Rooms were spacious and nicely appointed: comfortable beds, plenty of counter space in the bathroom, tastefully decorated. Wifi and breakfast are not included in the rate, which irked us; why nickel and dime patrons at the expense of their experience? It's worth noting that the elevators are painfully slow and you may be walking down several long hallways before finally making it to your room. The location is fairly central and convenient. We were in and out for a work trip and didn't get to take advantage of the area, though I did like staying near Fisherman's Wharf far better than the Union Square area.
