The worst hotel in San Francisco!
Of all the hotels where we stayed in California and there were eight, the Da Vincci was by far the black spot of the stay.
The facilities are outdated access to the rooms looks like a kind of prison of bad death. Having made a reservation and advance payment we were asked for a deposit of 300 dollars to be able to spend the night! According to them to ensure there was no damage. Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to spend that one night at the hotel. I repeat, after taking the room paid in advance. At all hotels, a deposit can be deposited, but the amount is usually about $50 per night that is then returned to you.
When we entered we did not give credit for the terrible conditions of the establishment. The room we were assigned had a view of the parking lot. We couldn't keep an eye on the night because of the noises in the adjoining rooms. It was like sharing a room with other guests.
To top it off, I found a disposable razor dropped on the carpet by the bed. Unfortunate!
For a hotel that charges an average of 150 euros per night I see a gap in value for money that we did not find in the many other hotels we visited.
In positive, the only thing, say that the location in Van Ness near Polk is great to access bars and restaurants and that the breakfast included in the price was ok.
