This place is clean, friendly and pet friendly! The only thing that needs changing here are the mattresses. Their very hard, no give. Otherwise good place to spend a night or week.

Same as any other motel would b better if more were pet friendly jus saying.

Not the newest motel, but clean, friendly, pizza place is great next door, gas station next door, would definitely return.

Wi-Fi is there, but it doesn’t work, I had to escape to Starbucks to get anything done. Large room was clean, but they used so much air freshener, I had to run AC for two days straight to sit it out. If you miss old RCA TVs its a place to be, feels like in the 90s, except there was a nice USB charger/AC plug tower next to bed. Finally someone figured it out.

The location was good, the rooms were clean, the service was good, although I had an issue with the pool. There was no heat, and it was freezing cold.

I wasn't staying at the hotel, but the person who came to visit told me the room was nice and clean and that the bed was comfortable. She only stayed one night though so I didn't get any more information than that.

I've been staying here on and off, probably 20 times in different rooms. They are very few rooms that had been semi modified. Saying that you'll still going to find this issues in the rooms: Strong pesticide odor: 90% off the rooms. Heater or air conditions issues 40% Dead lamp: %100 Bad sheets "scratchy" %100 I'm not saying this to bring down this business but I personally experience this and brought to there attention they are simply ignore because they have clients which usually work force. Price of the rooms are high compare to other motels and you will not get any service as far as rooms. Staff are very friendly and easy to talk to.

Booking through the hotel directly has been the best course of action. Not only have they offered us an affordable rate, but their customer service and quality of the hotel has made this budget-friendly hotel a worthwhile place we can trust sending our guys. I love this place. Who cares if its outdated. All I look at is the clean rooms, bathtubs and the pressure that comes out if the shower head.

Wi-Fi is spotty a lot of construction workers stay here and hang out in front of their hotel rooms. Some rooms are nicer than others some of the chairs have stains on them, the rooms are hit and miss. The a. C. — heater unit in the wall, is not very efficient. There is no wall mount thermostat.

For this location, it is a good hotel. Nice staff. Don’t expect the hotel to be fancy.

Value for money, no nonsense hotel. Stopped by over night on our way to Death Valley national park.

Been staying here the better part of two years and I have not had a single issue or problem that they did not make attention to and fix as a very Swift and courteous response to any and all requests… it would be very nice if they were in every city that I go to in the Southwest United States…

Really big place, clean room and very friendly staff. Free and reliable Wi-Fi. Close by to some really good food places and the movie theater is in walking distance. Only negative is the very small and old TV in the room, but that's not really important.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast area is quite small but there weren't many guests at that night so it was not crowded at all. In general, this is a hotel that is well worth its low price. Would recommend it.

The rooms are great. Clean with attentive maids. There are a few employees that seem to go above and beyond to take care of guest. Such as, with recurring guest, knowing what the prefers, already has bill ready, and reservation for next visit done.

Great customer service, fast Wi-Fi in the rooms. Breakfast included which features boiled eggs, waffles, and pastries. They honored a Yelp discount on the app even though they weren't aware it was there. Very accommodating, clean rooms, AC, USB charging ports, microwave, and fridge in every room. I signed up for the free membership because this is a great affordable place.

It's a long way to go for ice but slept well and hassle free.

This was the cleanest Econo Lodge I've ever stayed at after traveling across the US several times and staying at many motels. For a motel, it exceeded expectations. The room had a microwave and an upgraded AC and the parking was convenient. Looked like room was renovated and the staff cared about their property.

I really never write a review but this place needed one. 1st the Wi-Fi is so bad. I rather have old dial up. I asked the lady at the front counter why the Wi-Fi is so bad. She said what's Wi-Fi… lol really… then I ordered Pizza the night before, so I thought I can warm it up in my room. Because my room has a microwave. Wrong again. I put the pizza in for 1 minute nothing. So me being a smart ass I put it in for 10 minutes while I took a shower. I think the pizza got colder. Let's not talk about the free breakfast. The best thing is the apple juice. Ok the good things. The AC works great and the TV channels are good too. The reason I'm still here is because I'm working out here and the company put us put here. They will not move us. I asked. Good luck all. Think twice.

The Econo Lodge was very nice, staff was great, however the rooms were a bit messy.

Waffles for breakfast, good clean basic amenities, and cheap. A great place to kick start a trip into death valley or other desert locations.

Rooms were very neat and clean. Guest service was terrific! Loved the ladies that helped us with ur lodging. Will always consider staying here whenever I come back to China lake.

Clean hotel, however some of their rooms are definitely better than others. I would stay here if my options were limited.

Nice welcome by the staff at our late arrival.
Easy to find, tucked away from the city and very quiet.
The room had a very large bed, with TV, air conditioning and fridge, perfect after a long day in the Valley of death.
The breakfast was simple.
A Counselor: the steak house a few hundred meters on China Lake blvd.

Beds were hard, rooms were large.

Great place to stay for business.

I found multiple dead bugs INSIDE MY BED. When I then went to shake out the comforter, a few live bugs fell out. Absolutely disgusting, wouldn't stay here again for free.

Stayed in this Inn in Ridgecrest because it was the center of all our hiking destinations that weekend. We were not looking for extravagance or somewhere pricey, just a comfy clean place to sleep with a pool to cool off in and a simple grab and go breakfast. This place was everything we wanted and more… it was clean, friendly staff, good breakfast (the waffle thing was a plus! ), got two good nights of sleep it was peaceful, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Loved the price of our two night stay too.

Obviously this is not an expensive hotel. Even so, it manages to rate three stars in all categories. The rooms are large for this price range, and very well designed. In-room coffee, microwave, TV and refrigerator do not even begin to crowd the space. The building is newish and well maintained in and out. Multiple wireless points give excellent coverage. A/C was effective even on a 100+F degree day. Complimentary breakfast even includes make-your-own waffles! In many ways this Econolodge offers far better value than establishments twice the price.
