Wonderful staff. Really helpful. Clean room. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Very nice welcome for a refreshing stop after crossing the Death Valley. We were very well received on arrival. Parking and breakfast included. The rooms are a bit fair for a family of two parents and two adult children, but the two large beds were comfortable. By 40 degrees outside, the pool is appreciable at the end of the day. The hotel is perfect for a night's stop.

After the absurd heat of Death Valley, like they lit a hair dryer at full speed while you're inside a ventilated oven where you're making the lamp, the air conditioning of this hotel is like an oasis in the desert.
The hotel is located in Ridgecrest's main street, has ample parking and looks like classic American best westerns. Good and quick welcome of the kind gentleman at the reception, after which short relaxation in the great room before going to dinner. A large, clean room, perfect for our family thanks to the two queen beds. He had everything he needed.
A few meters below there was a small pool, which we did not use because we arrived a little late after the long journey started in the morning from Las Vegas. Instead, we used the washing machine and the dryer as the Americans do in the movies: put the pennies to take the detergent, put the pennies to start the washing machine, put the pennies to start the dryer, and while you read the beautiful yellow book Swedish that you had brought in your suitcase.
Good breakfast, great lifeblood to continue your journey to Sequoia National Park.

The staff here are some of the nicest we have encountered. They are friendly and helpful. Shout out to the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping. Keep up the great work.

Great staff they were friendly and helpful. Had to get a few rooms for our workers to stay was able to handle it all over the phone. They made our process very convenient and easy. They even gave us a discount for our stay because we were rewards members. Make sure you sign up for rewards card you get great benefits especially if you travel a lot.

This motel has the COLDEST pool water. Smack in the middle of the desert. It is unnaturally cold. No fun to swim. The water in the rooms is lukewarm tap water. I really don't understand why the pool was so cold. We booked for the best room, a suite. Had to walk up lots of stairs to get there. The room was nice, just an odd set up. Won't choose this place again.

The staff makes the stay well worth the price. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable. Breakfast is one of the better ones I've seen! I'll come back!

The service in the hotel was very nice, the hotel very comfortable. The pool was very nice but unfortunately far too cold. Besides, you could not make much in the area except go to Walmart. Recommended for a stay in transit but not if you want to stay longer.

We have stayed at the China Lake Inn several times and they have always been a pleasant stop. The breakfast area and food are very nice hot breakfast. The rooms are always clean and nice. Standard BW amenities so you know what to expect. Very nice place to stay.

Great service and staff. Arrived without a reservation located me in the system as a rewards member… discounted my night rate and all good there after. If I am in the area again I would definitely book this hotel.

Everything was above average for the price. Probably one of the best affordable hotels in the area. It's a great place to stay on the way to death valley.

A really nice hotel at bargain prices. 5 star staff. Breakfast starts at 5am, something early risers appreciate.

It's a motel on the main road, noisy and no security control except the lock in your room. Dirty dated carpet in a relatively smaller room than other BW we've stayed with before. Small dining room with only a small number of tables. Always packed, crowded, and noisy during breakfast hours. Very uncomfortable. Better to stay at Motel 6 and save some bucks for this quality of facility.

We like BW because they are so readily available and always clean and comfortable. We also like them because their rewards points really work. We have actually had several free nights because of them.

We stayed here on our way up to Tahoe. The room was fine and quite. No problems. Breakfast had eggs which was nice.

Wow! Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are updated with a modern decor and extremely clean. We definitely will stay at a Best Western again since we had a wonderful experience in Ridgecrest, CA. If you are in the area looking for a really nice place to stay as you're passing through, I highly recommend the Best Western and the rates are very reasonable too! The staff is what made this a 5 star. We left from a horrible experience with motel 6 down the road at around midnight. The staff got us right in. Also the room was nice for the price and the free breakfast was good.

I left something behind and they sent me an email the same day with how to coordinate to get it back. Never had a hotel go out of its way like that before. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. Sufficient for the needs of my trip.

Was a nice room, enjoyed the access to down town. Price was great. The service was very friendly and clean rooms.

Awesome hotel. Very quiet. Loved the Jacuzzi tub in my room and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was a perk as well. Only downside was the small parking lot.

Staff was extremely friendly. The place could use an update for the price but not too bad for an overnight stop. Clean and an ok bed.

When I arrived the Hotel Staff greeted me as a Diamond Select member, upgraded my room and were very polite and helpful. She let me know that the hotel was undergoing some renovations but it wasn't an inconvenience for me. They turned on the A/C so I would be comfortable when I arrived. All in all it was a good experience and I will stay there the next time I have to be in that area! Thank You all at Best Western Ciina Lake Inn.

Good hotel. Although it's a bit outdated in decor, in my experience they do a good job of keeping it clean. Nice pool, nice fitness center (recumbent bike, elliptical, treadmill, dumbbells from 5-50lbs w/ bench, and a multi-station machine). The laundry is outside which sucks a bit during the heat of summer, but there are laundromats around if you want to be inside instead. They put in a brand new hot tub when I stayed (July 2017). Breakfast alternates between two hot meals (and all the standard waffles and pastries as well) : Scrambled eggs every day, and either bacon or sausage, and either corned beef hash or biscuits and gravy. Good quality food, but repetitive. Friendly staff. I was here for almost a month, and I'd come back.

Disappointed afterwards because the photos on the site can suggest that the suites have 2 rooms. There is only one large, but the 2 beds are together. The room is near the road which fortunately is not very transient.

I visited my cousin at this Best Western location. The room seemed nice and clean. I would say that the place is pretty much your average motel. The parking lot was a little tight, but I still managed to find parking both times I visited the motel. The AC in his room was cold, which is a huge plus for this area, especially when you get into triple digit temperatures. I wouldn't say there is much within walking distance as fast as food goes.

Was good stay with nice bed and flat screen tv. However lacked bit on hot water front. It was bit luke (not that one wants very hot water in this area in late aug, just that one might expect not having hot water from some roadside motel not from best western type hotel. Morning breakfast near lobby Front desk staff were nice.

Cleanest grounds I've ever seen. Rooms are small but very clean. Avoid room 111 it has ice machine, washer and dryer behind wall. Pool area also behind wall. Hot tub was out of service. Bummer.

You should know. The rooms are SMALL but nice. It's an older motel but the inside of the rooms are updated with LCD TVs and all. Breakfast was good and it was clean. Nothing special about it. Don't expect much just a clean nice enough place to stay. Front desk person is very nice and helpful which is a plus! We didn't use the Jacuzzi but it did look clean so did the swimming pool.

A black grease ring around the jacuzzi, 1" wide at 7:30 am. Told the hotel. 3 hours later, the black grease ring was still there. The room was so small that my husband fell out of the tub trying to fix the showerhead and hit the toilet and pushed the toilet over 4 inches. The doors were like a maze getting in and out of the bathroom. Fortunately, we did not need an ambulance, but he did crack his ribs and hurt his shoulder. When reported to the office, they did nothing. Bed was excellent. For a 2 1/2 stsar hoitel, the breakfast was cheap. Sausage was stone cold coming out of the kitchen. Cold boiled eggs, not befitting a 2+ star hotel. Very disappointed here. The next night we stayed at the 2 1/2 star hampton Inn because the Mariott was full. I don't recommend it.
