I needed a cheap place to crash for a little over a week. A friend told me it was a ‘new’ hotel that just opened. It may have just opened but it definitely isn’t new construction and furnishings. However I got a low weekly rate around $45 a night. It was clean and located in a good area of town. As expected low quality towels but comfortable bed (and I have back issues) okay flatscreen TV and Dish programming, decent water pressure, and cable selection and they keep the rooms up. Close by food, Walmart, etc. Place was empty Thurs through Sunday with contractors working in the area showing up Monday nights. Easy parking right by your room. My one complaint is the walls are pretty then and the crowd they draw likes to fall asleep with their TV on :/ Anyway, I don’t think you can do better at a place under $60 bucks!
Do not stay here. (The 553 S address) Number 1: BED BUGS! Other than that; Uncomfortable beds, TV that decides when it wants to work or not, and a dead bolt that almost locked us in the room when it stopped working. On top of everything I asked to speak to someone about it all and even left a note for the owner. It's been a full week and I still haven't heard back from anyone. do not stay here.
