This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and we were pleasantly surprised. The location is great … 1/4 mile to V. Sattui Winery where we picked up our favorite wines and cheeses, pate, and other treats. When we arrived, we were greeted by our Host Mimi and her cute baby dog. She showed us to our room and there were fresh flowers waiting for us. Our room had a fireplace and private outdoor patio deck where with a breath taking view. The bed was comfortable and the décor was very charming. It was a busy weekend, so the rooms were all booked. We did meet a cute couple celebrating their 5th anniversary. They just enjoyed wine tasting and spa treatments in Calistoga. The vegetable garden was so beautiful. We met our other host Ed later and he was really friendly and gave us some suggestions other things we can do near by. We are planning to make this our annual get away weekend and maybe try a couples massage next time. Thanks Mimi and Ed … we cant wait to come back!

My wife and I were attending the Taste of Napa grand tasting this past saturday, and made reservations to stay at this quaint 1865 Napa Farmhouse bed and breakfast. We arrived early as we were catching transportation to the event. Mimi let us check in early so when we returned we could go to our room. When we returned my wife wanted a nap. We went up to the room and what a treat, a nice comfortable bed, soft carpeting, nicely remodeled, and very quiet. I went downstairs and there in the kitchen was a carafe of red wine, poured a small glass and went out back to sit on the back porch. Soon a rabbit went by, then a mother quail with 8 babies went running by, and daddy bird landed on top of a post watching his whole family. Then the standard blue jays and squirrels were going by. A little later Mimi came up and asked if we needed anything, if everything was to our liking, and at that time my wife came down from her nap and wanted dinner. She gave us several recommendations and off to dinner. We came back later and slept great with no back aches, and felt very rested after a day of enjoying the best wines of Napa Valley. We went downstairs in the morning to the smell of fresh organic coffee, sat at a table and was served fresh fruits, some from the garden, fresh yummy pastries followed by an egg scramble with fresh veggies from the garden that was to die for. After breakfast, Mimi came up to us, making sure everything was to our liking, and chatted with us for a few minutes.

I highly recommend the Napa Farmhouse Inn. Mimi is an amazing host and chef! She made me feel so welcome — — from the fresh food from the garden to the delicious pastries to the cozy bed! I loved my stay at the Inn and will visit again soon!

My wife and I spent the weekend at Napa Farmhouse Inn and what a joy! Their location is the best. It's located walking distance from 3 Michellin star restaurants and award winning wineries. Their farmhouse is clean, charming and spacious. We love to travel and this is by far the best. It is very private and unique. We loved sharing wine in their pretty garden overlooking the vineyards. They only have a few rooms and we were treated like VIPs. Can't wait to go back!

I'm going to be honest. We often stay at nice places, but this place sucked. The King Suite was $350.00 + tax almost $400.00. The bathroom sink & shower too small. The house was in need of paint and had dry rot. The grounds were very overgrown and nothing has been pruned for years. There were meager gardens, but this place looks nothing like the website shows. It's like they bought it and have not been able to take care of it. The so called breakfast was terrible. A little fruit, 1 strawberry, & weak organic coffee. The "French Pastries" were stale, dry & tasteless. The homemade jam was watery and sour. The frittata was a joke. We feel totally misled and it was VERY over priced.
