We have been members for 10+ years. The renovation is stark and charmless. Lots of concrete. The way the organization has treated us has been shameful. The “members” pool is awful, it’s like a prison pool. And the organization has changed the membership rules so that we can longer bring out family as guests to the pool. Only 1 guest per day. My husband is asking me to be patient, to wait until the construction is finished. We have called the membership director several times. No return call. We spent by to talk to anyone about the issues. No one available. Seriously, at the moment not a 5 star resort.

A true luxury hideaway… absolutely beautiful accommodations and service and close to the Silverado trail while hidden off the tourist path. Highly recommend.

Meadowood Napa Valley was beautiful. The beautiful scenery was outstanding! The social event I attended was very nice and the staff was very professional.

This is straight out of a dream. When you see the beautiful, expansive building that seems to belong settled between the trees, you are here. Every place you look is covered in beauty you could not imagine.

The restaurant absolutely deserves the 3 Michelin Stars. Staff is very casual and polished at same time. Dishes are very inventive and refined.

Went to the bar and had the unbelievable snack menu. OUTRAGEOUSLY divine and a must for any foodie. Creative and thoughtful preparation and perfect presentation.

Wish I could say that I stayed there but everytime I go to an event there I am amazed by its absolute beauty. It's a hidden 5 star village. The grounds are impeccable and the staff is always top notch.

The cabins were a bit remote and if you choose to stay around during the day you will watch golf carts go by every 5 minutes filled with grounds crew and housekeeping. Definitely not worth 2000.00 a night. We were there for a Goldman Sachs event and the restaurant was not open.

Besides the scenery being the best it can be it is an over all gem. Absoutely Great people to work with.

Won a trip here through much job. Best first class experience ever. Mercedes shouttles or Jeeps escort you around anywhere you go. On your beckon call. Food (even in room service) is fine dining unlike any other experience. Will certainly be a good spot for an anniversary, wedding or just to get away. Spa was wonderful and staff is very friendly but down to earth. Five stars.

Heard the spa is bomb. Japanese style. Everyone gets their own full room with everything so there is no locker room then to treatment room… its a full room experience.

I create special events and we did a walk through at Meadowood for an upcoming event. It was quite beautiful.

I could not speak more highly of this place. The service and the rooms are fantastic. If you want a total retreat. Before coming they took care of every detail with only a days notice and made reservations at the best places. I can’t get over how Friendly the staff were and accommodating coordinating with our driver and all of the restraunts and wineries in town. Unfortunately my mom got sick after flying in and they took care of everything. They had a car waiting for her when we arrived and took her straight to her room and did an amazing turn down service and helped her feel better emensely. We wouldn’t have had the same vacation with out them. Thank you! The Alberts and Marsh Family.

My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Meadowood for over three years. The timing finally came together Jan 2018! The property is awesome! Pristine, quiet, and very private. We stayed in the Woodland Suite, approximately 600 square feet with a California king bed, a full body length window seat for reading, separate sitting room, and a cozy fireplace. We also had a private patio area for outdoor reading and relaxing. Unfortunately, we couldn't maximize the outdoor chairs because of rain. We took a quick tour of The Spa and immediately booked massage treatments after viewing the private couples suite that includes a private bathroom, steam shower, separate seating area for relaxing or reading and two massage tables. Unlike most spa treatments where you change in a locker room, wait in a central waiting area with other people, get walked to your treatment room, then walked back to the locker room, the Meadowood Spa suite experience is designed so you never have to leave the private suite! They have several spa treatment options all of which include about 3 hours in the private suite. Book your spa reservation in advance, they open at 9:30 am, so you have the afternoon open for wine tasting. 60-minute massage in the private suite is $225, a 60-minute facial is $235. They also have a mineral soaking bath at 140 degrees along with a tranquil garden area where you can enjoy a cup of tea and other snacks.

This time we took advantage of The Restaurant, The Grill, and their spa. This place is unlike anything we have experienced this far—a wildly luxurious resort where every staff member you come in contact with genuinely wants to make your stay special; they know your name; and you don't want to leave. There's also a golf course, croquet, pool, and fitness center.

Beautiful setting just off of Silverado trail in Napa. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a great dinner at the Grill with college friends. Ora Salmon and Halibut paired beautifully with Chapellet Chardonnay!

You come here for the experience the chef and staff want to present. You either like it or not but it would not be the gem in the region if it wasn't for the excellent service. Visited here 2016 summer with my wife. Enjoy and celebrate our anniversary. We have great time. The spa and food in the restaurant are very good.

Where to begin with the beautiful and renowned Meadowood. I've been to Meadowood for multiple occasions. But lets review my latest and quite possibly my last visit to this chic destination. Being from the area I wasn't at all surprised by the simple beauty of the grounds. It's well kept and surrounded by a lush forest. Upon arriving I encountered the housekeeping crew in the spa parking area. These would be the most pleasant people I talked to during my entire visit. They were all very sweet and welcoming from the moment we arrived. I did enjoy my massage. The gentleman did a wonderful job and the staff at the spa was pleasant and helpful. However, the restaurant crew seemed extremely discourteous and almost miserable catering to our table. It was only four of us and they treated us as if we were not welcomed at all. I'm not even talking about the room temperature water (it was about 105 degrees outside and very warm inside as well), I didn't even notice everyone else in the restaurant had ice in their glasses until a friend brought it to my attention. Or the odd stares from the servers and hostess from behind their station. The attitude of almost every employee could use some serious improvement. I'm shocked that such a highly acclaimed establishment would retain such an amateurish and incompetent crew. Nor would I be surprised if said crew preformed this way due to the lack of responsible management and proper pay from such a "high end" establishment.

Great separate suite buildings with a lot of privacy. Both Grill and the Restaurant have amazing food and impeccable service. It's a large resort but you are never around large crowds and it all feels private.

We went to the three Michelin star restaurant and were very impressed. Excellent service and experience. The food was unique and exquisite, definitely one for the bucket list.

The perfect place for a weekend getaway, or a wedding! This resort has 250 acres of lush greenery, 4.5 miles of hiking trails, the most attentive and wonderful staff, and a three Michelin star restaurant where we had an amazing dinner. What a magical and memorable stay.

The cottage my husband & I stayed in felt like a tree house, which I LOVED ❤ + The staff was super nice & accommodating. We got to play Croquet with Mike, the resident Croquet Pro & had a fabulous time. The Lemon Blueberry Pancakes for breakfast where by far the very best meal I had during our stay. While wood burning fireplaces wreck havoc on my sinuses, we still very much enjoyed the fireplace in our room & had a fire burning at all times when we were in the room… very romantic ❤

This is a well kept place that is attuned 2 nature, resorts 4 rest n recreation should be like this place where 1 can commune w/ mother nature n give tnx 4 nurturing mother earth by providing a place like d Meadowood Salute 2 d people who keep this place as it is.

Amazing dining experience. The service was attentful and very knowledgeable about what they were serving. The courses were well paced, and none of them too large. Worth noting that beforehand, we stopped by the bar. I recommend everyone do this. The cocktails are in another universe of delicious. Perfect balance, unique infusions and elixirs, great taste.

Lovely Saturday brunch for group of 8 at the Meadowood Grill. Lovely views, delicious food, attentive service, and overall welcoming experience. The staff were friendly and food was delivered quickly. Food was pricey, but what you would expect at a resort. Will return in the future to get the Restaurant at Meadowood!

Service was excellent and the food was amazing. My party started off with the pastry plate and mushroom flatbread — both were amazing. For my entreè I had the Wagyu burger and it was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend eating at the Meadowood Grill!

I have never been anywhere that I felt so welcome, and pampered. Every person there was friendly and had a smile on at all times. If you're ever thinking of a romantic getaway, Meadowood is the place to be!

Some of the staff is great. The restaurant is nothing but attitude. We were late so they told us too bad. There is no real room service. I have an early flight so tried to order food at 6 am and they said they were closed. I'll admit that part of it was my fault but they didn't have to be mean about it. I have stayed in the valley a few times. I have raved over this place. Never again!

6/27/13 LUXURIOUS LUNCH DESTINATION As our large charter bus pulled up the drive toward Meadowood, we looked out the window at a roadside covered with shady trees and lush greenery. The landscape had drastically changed since the winery we'd stopped at earlier. This felt like a mountainy-forest retreat — it very much reminded me of driving to summer camp many years ago. Pools came in and out of view with beautiful green lawns between them. The bus parked and our special event was a short walk away to an area set up next to the croquet lawn and above the golf course. The view surrounding us was magnificent and the large Meadowood building stood grandly in the background. Tables were beautifully set, each seating eight (or nine? ) with silverware ready for several courses. We probably had a hundred people in our group. The temperature reached 92 degrees on this particular afternoon, so there was a scramble for seating under umbrellas, which were at most of the tables, covering only a couple seats at each. Uh oh. I pulled out my spf 110 and protected my face, and then put some spf 4 on my arms. I love the sun. However, several others in our group looked ready to wither within moments. Not to worry: the staff carried huge, heavy umbrellas from a great distance away, and set them up slowly all around us, creating a great, umbrella covering above almost everyone. Honestly, the silverware was initially too hot to even touch.

Why bother reading reviews from Google by squirts who have not a clue about food.
