Horrible place to stay. I had a room block at Marriott Novato for my wedding. One of my friends found a spider in the bed. They switched her to another room. My mom fell in the bathtub during my wedding night because the bathtub was slippery, and she suffered a wrist fracture. The front desk told my parents that they should have asked for a non-slip pad. Shouldn't this be standard in all hotels bathrooms? Shouldn't they try to prevent accidents from happening? I also heard th…at my brother-in-law slipped in the tub as well, but he was able to catch his fall. Everyone hid the accident from me until after my husband and I got back from our mini-moon. When I heard about it three days later, I called Misty, who handles group reservations, to complain about the situation. At that point, neither my parents nor my friend who was helping my parents the night of the accident had heard back from Ibrahim, assistant manager of the hotel, to discuss what could be done about the situation. Misty transferred me to Ibrahim, who put me directly into voicemail. He then proceeded to call my friend to talk about the situation. After he calls my friend, he gives me a call and tells me that he spoke to my friend about this already. WTF! (My friend let me know when she actually got the phone call from him. ) I asked him why it has taken so long. Ibrahim said he was busy with other things in the hotel. Shouldn't complaints about accidents take precedence over other matters?!

Made reservation. 3 months ago, for a single king, at check in all they had was a tiny double bed room. Offered us a whopping $10 per night discount and breakfast. On a nearly $300 dollar per night room. Were told that we were bumped by Marriott Platinum members. Well guess what they can do with their platinum member?

Location was convenient and the rooms were updated, nice & clean. The pool area & fire pit were nice but a hot tub would have been better. It was quite cool in the evening. There was a ping pong able & corn hole toss available to play. The management was very friendly and accommodating and made our stay better.

Traveling on vacation with my husband. We were very happy with our stay. Rate was very reasonable given the fact that NASCAR was in town this weekend. Very nice property.

Seriously Courtyard Marriott! I was on the phone over an hour with two different agents trying to find a room for my terminally ill sister from the early morning of the and once my mom arrived she was told her room was not ready! She had already been driving around for 5 hours. My sister has ALS and is wheelchair bound! Where is your compassion? On top of that after checking out today you OVERCHARGED them! NO price gouging will be tolerated! You will be fully investigated and SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of a senior citizen, terminally ill person and a victim of the Sonoma County fires!

It's $18.99 to rent a movie and there are quite a few homeless people in the area. For the money, Best Western and Days Inn in Novato are better deals.

All across the Country, Marriott Hotels are our pleasured destination when we travel, and Marriott Courtyard Novato was no difference. From arrival to departure time the staff was cordial, helpful, and customer friendly. Thank you Marriott Courtyard Novato.

The staff really didn't seem to care when a wedding party was whooping and hollering all night in the hallways until 3am. They double charged me for the room despite being told at check-in that I had prepaid through a travel site. The staff is a joke! They are too busy talking with one another to assist their guests properly. I will most likely stay at a Marriot again but definitely not this one.
