Front desk personell a bit rude. Very hard to understand unless your from India. Found hair and lipstick on my pillow. Very small parking lot. Cannot book room at front desk, unusual even though they said I can book in person. Would never recommend.

You said when I booked this motel is pet friendly. That was a lie. I h as d to pay Ten dollars extra because I had my dog With me. I won't stay here again. Very Inhospitable. The room has no lamps. Nothing makes one want this room. Bare is a description of this place.

Rooms have holes and bad customer service. I had asked to stayed 2 nights and it was agreed but they tried kicking me out after my first night. Without refunding me my money.

We were able to get a room very late when there weren't any vacancies at other nearby hotels. The clerk was extremely nice. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy.

Sucks don't come here strict asf, plus they got bed bugs yuck… the lady wouldn't give me my money back.

This place is laid back they need more room service.

In Whittier. No extra amenities. Dirty rooms. No digital alarm clock. Staff makes it uncomfortable.

This was a nightmare. The room was filthy. It smelled like… Well Filth. Carpet was wet and sticky and when I pulled back the bedspread a dark brown pubic hair was on the pillow case. My Cat wasn't even comfortable. Stay away from this place unless you like bed bugs.

This was the worst experience of my life. It was filthy. The room smelled, the carpet was wet and sticky. Beware of the " To good to be true" prices.

Big rooms kind of old needs update TV channels r good lots to choose crom.

Dont go there roaches in the rooms little red bugs on the dam refrigerator dont work shower was busted told the lady I reserved a room dont me no I didnt till I showed her my confirmation letter they act like they dont want to give u change for useing there machines. Ive stayed in better places in la for cheaper.

This is a family owned hotel, it was simple and clean and housekeeping was kind enough to give extra towels when we asked. Check in was a little rough trying to make changes on the reservation that was done through a third party, and the husband (? ) pretty much ignored me when I was trying to ask a question, making me wait for his wife to return to the window. There were no alarm clocks, in the room which would have been helpful. Easy access to the freeway and other places in the surrounding towns. Sadly I've stayed in worse, but have also stayed in better. This one is really middle of the road and I am just grateful it was clean and critter free!

For the price of the room, it was rather roomy. Bed was good, had good cable and a fridge. Parking is very limited, bit of a hidden gem though.

Great price especially for allowing dogs but the building my room was in smelled like dog pee all along the outside balcony/walkway. Inside was ok, not dirty like usual motels of this price. Great size flat screen TV and ice cold AC. Man at the front desk was very nice.

Stayed for 5 minutes and went elsewhere Furniture is very old looks like it was bought at Goodwill. Found a bug in a drawer — live — and graffiti in a drawer in the bedside stand. Doesn't even deserve one star.

This place is disgusting! Dirty old mistresses in the parking lot. And the management was belligerent and rude. They tried to charge me almost double of my reservation. We canceled and got the hell out of dodge.

The person behind the counter is unwelcoming and creepy he will stalk you just like all the other people there, there is a bad vibe to this place, the glass infront of the counter is sound proof not bulletproof so have fun there not being able to understand eachother.

I have never seen these kind of poor customer service. Don't waste your money and time. She were yelling on the phone.?!

This place was quiet and calm but for what we paid for for 2 nights they should do more. Looked like they cleaned in a hurry. Chips on the floor and even found used drug paraphernalia and a bunch of what look like crack pipe burns everywhere. The room in some parts looked like it was falling apart along with some of the furniture.

SERVICE: HORRIBLE! As soon as I got there, the man at the desk was already saying no (Discrimination). I had a reservation made already and he didn't even give me the chance to show him and told me if I wanted a room, I would have to give him straight cash and wait 4-5 hours to get my room. Then tried to kick me out of the lobby because I wanted to wait. Next thing I know, I see a white woman come in for her room and he gave her no problem. The manager had to come out and make the man look for my reservation, and when he found it, they let me wait. THE ROOM: DISGUSTING! They have BED BUGS! Dirty walls and a dirty bathroom with broken faucets. The phone is BROKEN (that they made me give them a $5 deposit for) so I couldn't even call for more towels. The Air Conditioning does not work. The furniture is dingy. Walls are paper thin, you could hear EVERYTHING. DO NOT STAY HERE! It's a waste of money, time, energy, and health. You could do better. Trust me.

This place a needs a major fix. If I had to guess I would bet my money on the city inspector not passing it's living conditions. What got me was the mildew in the bathroom. Need I say more PS don't let the pictures posted fool you. If those rooms exist it the rooms for the people who own the place — those are NOT the rooms for the guest. Also they their more than happy to take cash under the table for rooms no receipt provided at least that's what the woman's husband does.

Whittier Scottish inn is a clean place and is comfortable.

I have only rated this place at 1star because there was nothing lower. I am in my sixties and well traveled. This is the absolutely worst dump I have ever stayed in. No hot water, no room cleaning, rude staff and poorly maintained and dirty.

We booked this room for out of town guests for a wedding because the Travelodge across the street didn't have enough rooms for everyone. They canceled the morning of our reservation without cause, hung up on my and didn't answer the phone when I called back to speak with management. Finally got a hold of a 'manager' with an extremely thick accent and realized reasoning with him was useless. Luckily Travelodge was able to get us a room after all. Wish I could give zero stars.
