I was routed to this hotel by American Airlines due to a late flight and missed connection. After waiting for 2.5 hours for the shuttle (no exaggeration), I finally made it to the hotel. Anthony Pham, the manager, demanded my credit card and when I tried to explain that this was an AA booking he told me I could give him my card or go back to the airport. So I gave him my card. He tried to explain how to use my food voucher and I advised that I would not be using my voucher th…ere. He then told me that if I was unhappy with his hotel, I could go back to the airport. A kind woman behind me stepped in and told him to have some compassion. He then yelled that that was it, we were going back to the airport, and summoned the shuttle driver. This woman had a young child with her but he felt perfectly comfortable threatening her with a return to the airport at 12:30 AM because she asked him to act like a human being. He finally checked me in, then sent me on my way with no direction to my room and no receipt. I will be filing a complaint with anyone and everyone associated with this hotel and I will make sure to never stay in any Hilton associated hotel again. Anthony Pham is a little man on a big power trip, and if the Hilton family of hotels feels this man is management material, I want nothing to do with the Hilton family of hotels.

Wry easy to find, quiet rooms. Comfortable beds, very clean facility.

Hilton standard of cleanliness and comfort with ideal location near LAX and Santa Monica. The front desk staff is excellent. The lobby and bar area are spacious and trendy while still welcoming and relaxing. There is always coffee and tea and then a little snack area for when you arrive early or late and need a little something to Bosh and drink. I prefer this hotel to any Hyatt or similar that I’ve been to in So Cal.

Beautiful hotel! Down the street from the LAX… Perfect for traveling! This is a modern & contemporary property with an indoor pool & all the great amenities. Rooms are nice… Bathrooms have a sliding barn door which also hides the closet. I would have liked for the barn door to be able to lock when in use but other than that, GREAT room! Security is top notch… You must have your key card in order to access any of the guest rooms. You also have to pay for parking ☹️ Overall, fabulous property… And breakfast is FREE/complimentary!

Nice and clean. Safe and friendly. I love yr he snack bags they have out for you to take for the day. That is very thoughtful. I love staying at Hampton inns cut this one is high class.

The room was very clean, cool, and inviting. The room was well furnished with modern amenities. We got two queen-size beds for three adults and one child. Nobody's had to struggle to find a charging space for their phone or laptop. The shower head had 3 settings: no pressure, light pressure, and medium pressure. Medium was all I needed! The Continental breakfast was excellent. I always enjoy using the waffle maker and having fresh fruit options. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a great time at this hotel. The location was excellent, only minutes away from LAX. The room was very comfortable and the decor was up to date. The room even has a barn door style bathroom door. The workers were also all extremely enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Newer hotel. Very comfortable and quiet even though it is booked quite heavily. Great staff. Ample parking. Great central area for quick bites to eat. Very close to the airport. Nice indoor pool. I have many choices in the area and took a chance on this location. I am not disappointed. I am actually booking again for the third weekend in a row for work.

Perfect location for a trip stage very near to LAX airport. Just 10 minutes with a shuttle bus. Absolute no noise of the airplanes. All facilities included. Complimentary breakfast with a lot of choice and fresh breads. New and modern style of interiors (personally I prefer a more classic design). Friendly and helpful staff. Parking building on the side.

Had a bit of change in our itinerary which got us into LA early — 9:00 am early. Went to the hotel to check in and have our luggage stored while we went to explore the city. The front desk not only held our bags but checked us in, invited us to the continental breakfast and got us in our room by 10 am! No fees and no hassle — we didn’t ask they offered. And to top it all off — a nice clean room, good (but busy) breakfast, shuttle to LAX and a nice comfy bed. Highly recommend.

Me and my family (mom, two kids, ) went to California for my brother's college graduation we stayed in Bakersfield for two days (also at another Hilton Hotel) then we stayed in LA for two days at the Hampton Inn, the hotel was beautiful, it was very clean, they offer breakfast in the morning and not the simple bagels and cereal but eggs, bacon, sausages, a waffle station, etc. The room was very comfortable we had two queen beds, a flat screen TV, the bathroom was gorgeous with a sliding door, stand in shower with a glass panel. They had an indoor pool which felt so good, nobody was in it but us at the time so that made it even more fun, the staff were very nice and respectful. Another thing I appreciated was the security aspect of the hotel meaning you had to use your room key to access the floors with the rooms. Overall the Hotel definitely gets 5 stars in my book, my mom and I have already decided when we go back to Cali next year we will be staying at this hotel again!

Worst staff not polite not helpful parking cost and they didn’t tell me I need pass til after I pad and couldn’t get into log never again LAX Hampton.

Great service from the staff. Truly made the stay worth it with their positive attitude and friendly demeanor (been to too many places where the staff seemed like they did not want to work or be there to help). The facilities were clean and well maintained. If you're looking for a great stay near Lax, this is one place you should seriously look into. It's about 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping centers. Highly recommended place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight out of LAX. It was brand new and offered a very clean and modern environment. I ate the breakfast that was offered for free in the morning and it was delicious! All of the staff members that I encountered were great. I like that the hotel was in close proximity to Manhattan Beach which is where I ate dinner and watched sunset. The hotel also offered a shuttle to the airport which I did not need to use but I saw that it was available.

A new hotel with modern decor and conveniently located near airport with a complimentary shuttle! The front desk staff and housekeeping were professional, friendly and accommodating! The staff was extremely friendly. They were helpful and accommodating during check in. The room was updated, clean, and comfortable. It is really close to the airport which is nice if you have an early flight. There is a restaurant and bar on site which is unusual for a Hampton inn. You do have to pay for parking in a garage on site. The gym is a bit more advanced than a typical Hampton inn gym. I really enjoyed my stay here, and will definitely be coming back in the future.

We arrived at LAX at midnight and took the free shuttle to our Hampton. Checkin was quick, so we could get some hard earned sleep. The complimentary breakfast was full of fresh delights, closing at 10:00am. We requested a late checkout, to accommodate some quiet time before our next flight. Highly recommend this Inn to break up a long flight schedule in comfort.

I will admit that part of my criticism may be unfair, but I think it needs to be said because it will help people in my position. There are issues with this hotel. The big one is that it is loud. It is VERY close to the runways, and I can hear planes revving their engines for take off. I could still hear planes revving their engines at 3 a. M. Which made getting back to sleep difficult. The other issue is that there's very little around other than the airport. It's essentially on a highway, and a wrong turn on the way to the hotel left me in half an hour of airport traffic to go an extra couple miles. There's also literally nothing worth walking to, and since I was booked for 9 days, that was a huge problem. Just know what you're getting into, if all you need is a hotel next to LAX, I doubt you can do better for the price, and I would definitely stay here if that's all I needed. But if you have an extended stay for business like I did, the issues I mentioned are probably going to be a deal-breaker. I will say that as mentioned in other reviews, the room was large, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. It's a perfect hotel for the location, just make sure that you really WANT this location, because if you don't, you'll be unhappy.

Stayed as part of a business trip and really enjoy the location. Amenities are great, breakfast isn't bad and the people are friendly. Extremely convenient location for airport and some offices. Not a far ride from decent restaurants and attractions in El Segundo. Would definitely recommend to other businesses travelers.

Modern, well appointed, clean room just minutes from LAX. I would not hesitate to stay here again. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast. Usually Hampton Inn breakfasts are more than adequate with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, continental items, etc. Only the cereals and continental breakfast items were stocked. Perhaps the attendant was too busy keeping up with refilling the coffee and milk dispensers to make the other items? Whatever breakfast fees they build into their pricing at this Hampton Inn should be refunded and they should provide better training/support for the breakfast attendant that was on duty December 20, 2017.

This contemporary style hotel is conveniently located near LAX. The room is spacious and beds are comfortable. The front desk staff, Marissa and Jeremy, were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included in our stay. They had a variety of hot food and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Susan. There is a parking garage attached to the building and it is $15/night with easy unlimited in and out access. I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my wife where at the Hampton Inn and Suites in El Segundo to meet up with Aunt to celebrate her Wedding. Bill the bartender was very friendly and engaging. He knowledge of drinks and suggest other drinks based on tasted. The drinks were on point. I very pleased.

I stay in the LAX area often and I've stayed in most of the hotels in the area. I will make it a point to stay in this Hotel whenever possible. It is by far the nicest, cleanest, most welcoming hotel in the area. The place is like new. Incredibly friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms. You can pick your room and check in on the app. They have an airport shuttle. Highly recommend.

The location is very convenient for those traveling to/from LAX. If you're planning to go into LA, expect a fairly long drive. My parking fees were compped by the hotel. El Segundo itself is worth visiting for restaurants and bars.

This place has me fired up. I need to do some laundry for personal reasons. No one wants to do laundry on vacation. I asked the desk for change to use the machine and she didn't have any. Only manager can get in safe so I was sol. She tried to call manager but he didn't answer so she straight up told me no. A better answer would be — I can't get in touch with manager but how bout I call your room as soon as he responds so we can take care of you. Nope. So I stood at desk and made a scene because it was the only way I was going to be helped. The breakfast was overcrowded and they struggled to keep up with food and taking trash. There are no microwaves in rooms. The front door staff is awful and not accommodating at all.

It was great from beginning to end. We showed up early and there was a room available. The view was nice with a big balcony. Staff was very friendly and informative. The room was nice and big and very much enjoyed. Best hotel room I've stayed at so far. Continental breakfast was great. My lady forgot her laptop there and the staff helped in locating and holding for her. Thank you very much for a awesome stay.

Good hotel But the beds are very soft.

The rooms are nice and luxurious. Happy hour was nice. Food was great. The only problem I had was with breakfast I picked an old bagel that had a spot of mold. Ruined breakfast but the rest of the stay was great.

Long story of a terrible experience staying at this Hampton Inn, short version: The hotel knew, according to the front desk clerk, days in advance that there would be routine maintenance occurring at the hotel. Maintenance that would result in the hotel being without power for 5 hours. We never received a call or an email alerting us to this (we would have cancelled the reservation had we known). We were also not informed at check in of the power outage. It was only after being in the room for about an hour I found a piece of paper on the desk informing us of the situation. It was also noted we'd be provided glow sticks since there would be no working lights in the room. Glow sticks. I work overnights. The hours the power was out (1am-6pm), serve essentially as my morning/afternoon. We asked for a refund and were rebuffed. In this instance, I feel that this particular Hampton Inn put profits over people. The whole idea of the hotel industry is to provide guests a hospitalible experience — hence, the hospitality industry. I get the feeling they kept guests who were and had booked reservations for this night in the dark about the power outage because they knew most people would find the power being out for five hours less than accommodating and would therefore cancel their reservations.

5 stars do not do justice to the lavish suit we had. Staff, parking facility and breakfast were great. But the suit, just amazing.

Top end for Hampton! Best lounge ever with a bar and bar food. Still serving the traditional waffles and eggs in the morning g as part of the value services. Great location to LAX, and nearby to many great El Segundo restaurants. You'll enjoy this hotel, I promise.

By far the best customer services ever. Jeremy was a great help at front desk during check in. Rooms were great. Pool and gym great plus. The breakfast is fantastic. Has a little of everything you would want. Location right next to airport and a few minutes from the beach fabulous.

Great property, amazing staff, wonderful rooms, I really recommend this place it's really an outstanding property.

Has everything you want for a very reasonable price. Staff is nice & friendly, the hotel rooms are big with comfy beds (although they are a tad noisy whenever you sit & move around in them). The breakfast offers new options every morning and if you want to rent a car there are shuttles going from and to the hotel every 10-15 minutes. The only real downside is the view from our room but other than that I am very pleased with my stay and I would definitely come here again.

Stayed here on a Sunday night and made use of their free airport shuttle both ways, which was quite convenient. Shuttle service did take about 25 minutes from the hotel to the airport at 6:30 Monday morning (terminal 5) so plan accordingly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and have lots of pillows, front desk staff was cold and seemed confused by the two rooms reserved under one name. Maybe this is a problem with their reservation software. Breakfast is great, especially considering it's free. Yogurt, pastries, hot and cold beverages, hot dishes including waffles and eggs, and the room in which you eat is pretty spacious compared to similar properties. That room is their bar/lounge in the evening and we found it a pleasant place to sit and have a drink before heading to dinner. I would recommend the hotel figure out how to dim the lights in that room for a more pleasant evening experience. I would stay here again.

Disappointed. Spent 8 days of our vacation at 3 hamptons across California. By far the el Segundo had the worst service. First day no housekeeping. Asked for tables to be wiped off in breakfast area, waited 20 minutes, never done. Finally at checkout, my daughters room rate did not match her on line booking. They raised her daily rate because she asked for a connecting room to ours. A manager had to be retrieved to clear up a 200.00 discrepancy. Note, always ask for print out receipt. And… never saw a chocolate chip cookie. They only bring them out at 5:00pm and never on weekends. Ugh. Kudos to the Hamptons in Windsor and Madera California, they were awesome and staff were most helpful.

Hampton Inn was great for a work visit! Everything is very new and clean, breakfast was a nice plus and the location is great for nearby businesses. Within walking distance of some locations. Shuttle to and from airport is very convenient.

I am very pleased with this hotel. Rooms and facility new and clean. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Enjoyed the continental breakfast a great variety. Price was reasonable. A 10 minute drive from Manhattan beach. Very very pleased. I look forward to a future stay here again.

Checking in was great! The person at the front desk was simply amazing. The bad review comes from the fact I was charged $250 with a claim that housekeeping "smelled" smoking coming from the direction of my unit. We do NOT smoke. I can not stress this enough. I'm allergic to tobacco and asthmatic. No one in my group of 4 smokes. I've tried contacting the manager, never available. I missed their call back by twenty minutes and there is now no one answering the lines. Not even a voicemail. I will be reporting this to the BBB and FTC since no one wants to answer. There is absolutely no way there was any smoke coming from my room. They can not hold me responsible for anything that goes on in their stairwell or the people we were placed next to. I'm extremely disappointed and pissed at this company and will never again stay at one of these places or any of their other properties. Here's a great lesson learned, make them inspect your room before you leave.

New, nice and comfortable. Very clean. Staff is responsive to guests. They do offer a "bar/restaurant" where you can get mini plates of food. When I went to check it out the guy well, not really but I can you hummus or wings. But they sell alcohol there. It's sort of a makeshift bar.

Great place to stay. Clean and friendly. Awesome staff. Diana saved my life and went that extra mile to help me reconnect with my lost jacket. So greatful. Destiny helped out saw my need before I asked. Mr. Security was everywhere. Did I say awesome staff!

This hotel had all of the amenities I was looking for; comfy beds, free breakfast, a nice gym, friendly staff, and it was close to where I needed to be. I would definitely stay here again. Also the rooms are well insulated so I couldn't even hear people in the hallway.

Much better than the typical Hampton Inn. New and modern, with nice outdoor seating and lounge areas, a bar on site that serves food til 11, and a good airport shuttle service. IMHO the best Hilton property at LAX for a quick, convenient stay for individuals or small families. They use the giant red parking shuttle with a huge "105" Interstate logo as their hotel shuttle; it's super-easy to spot and runs 24 hrs, with a hotel pickup frequency of 30 minutes, and it takes 15-20 minutes to reach the terminals, so plan accordingly.

We met in a small meeting room. Lunch was provided and it was a good size and tasty. Even though I brought my own lunch, I brought it home for my family. My kid wanted to know where I bought it so I could buy it again.

Very spacious and modern. Love inner and outer looks. The pool wasn't heated so it was cold. And the breakfast could have been a little better. Overall the employees were very helpful. No locks on the bathroom doors btw. But I still give it 5 stars because he experience was nice.

Only stayed the night to catch an early morning flight. Complimentary breakfast was good. Very new, clean building. Phone app to magically unlock doors? This place is awesome. I would definitely stay there again. Very comfortable even though we only stayed for 6hrs. Also they offer free shuttles to LAX.
