Absolutely LOVED 😍 this Hotel Stay! My husband surprised me with this trip and booked everything and this was an amazing find! 🤩🤩 The decor is amazing, beautiful views and the bar lobby area is fun! The staff made our visit easy and they are so thoughtful in their approach to hospitality! Highly recommend this hotel!

The look of the hotel is amazing. Great vibe, very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very friendly as well.

Beautiful resting place.!

First, the breakfast is one of the worst of any hotel we stay in. Sugary cereal, carbs, processed breakfast bars, fruit and yogurt. The rooms are OK, but you have no temperature control. To warm your room in the Winter you have to request a portable heater. The only microwave access is in the main lobby. Staff is friendly and attentive, no complaints.

Out of the Aloft hotels this is one of my favorites. The one here in El Segundo is absolutely amazing. Your time is great and they make you stay perfect.

Customer service is the worst. Charged my debit card after I was told they would cancel for free. After serval hours of traveling. I had to book at another hotel. And had my friends cancel as well. This location is the worst. I have and will post on every media outlet to let them know about this location. And had the nerve to blame it on the young lady saying she was new.

Excellent service, especially Maria who greeted us with great kindness and patience, as we are a large family and many check ins, thank you for all the employees are very courteous and friendly. I'm definitely staying here again. Thank you!

Aloft is a hotel with strategic location and close to LAX airport. Supported by helpful and caring staffs.

Found it by chance. Bar, local beers and staff were great. Looking at staying there next time in LA. Have given it the thumbs up to my travel agent in Australia.

We were welcomed (very early! ) with open arms. Very nice and comfortable lobby with games and plenty of cool places to lounge. Luckily we didn’t need to find a place to hang because our room was ready for us. Maria at the front desk was beyond friendly. Highly recommend!

The staff was so friendly and they made us feel very welcome. Everyone loved Linus and he was so happy to be showered with their affection. The location is very convenient to LA area, you can walk across the street to a Ralph’s and Starbucks, in addition to many other nice places to eat. Rooms were clean and the bar was really cool too!

It was a great day coz the live music and drinks are good. Friendly staff too.

Today I went to Aloft El Segundo happy hour from 5:00pm-7:00pm. I got a tour of the hotel including guest rooms and meeting rooms. The hotel has a nice cozy and family/friendly atmosphere. They had a nice duo band there entertaining guest and those for the happy hour. I would recommend this hotel if you want to spend time waiting for traffic to die down with a drink or two or a game of pool or janga or connect 4 or just some plan good conversation. And if you still are not sure stop buy and check it out yourself.

Great starvation for friends and family. Great for cocktails with your girls/guy friends. Eclectic vibe… amazing decor…

Great vibe, excellent location, secure parking immaculate clean fresh room. Made a fantastic holiday even better, sad to leave can't wait to return.

No parking. Had to park 2 blocks up the road behind a gas station. Was told the bar was to busy to accommodate hotel guest parking. Seriously? You are a hotel with a bar in the lobby, not a bar with a hotel. AND I was charged $18 to park at the hotel that I didn’t even get to park at! I’m a Lifetime Titanium Elite Member and have been using Marriott properties for 20 years almost exclusively. This single instance at this hotel just cost Marriott 20 years of business stays of roughly 200 or more stay nights per year.

Fantastic hotel and really lovely staff! We stayed for one night after a horrible journey from Ireland. We were travelling to Las Vegas and because of flight delays we ended up in LAX and British Airways sent us to this hotel. We arrived too late to use the dinner vouchers we had but we were able to spend them on the snacks in the shop within the hotel, we got so many lovely things. We were so tired and the staff were the first friendly people we had met since leaving Ireland. Thank you for making a terrible day that much better. Oh and the beds are very comfy :)

Spent 3 nights here. Room was clean and spacious. Lobby is vibrant with desks and chairs to get some work done. Internet is super fast. Lobby bar is good too. Will stay here again. Fitness center and pool were great.

Amazing staff! Everyone is always super nice awesome! A bunch of food restaurants right around. There's a great outdoor pool area. Rooms are nice too.

The hotel itself is kitschy and hip. Decent topshelf, although overpriced, selection at the bar and served up by the lively bartender Heather. Who suggested a few other spot in town to grab a drink after she shut down her bar. The front desk clerks, Angelique and Candace were very helpful with check in and helping figure out a few things. I definitely reccomend this hotel! Thanks for the great service ladies. Look forward to coming back again.

Hip hotel close to the airport. Lively lobby scene and cool bar. Breakfast concept is a bit odd. Rooms are comfy but just a bit cramped. Overall a good hotel near the airport and El Segundo businesses. I will stay here again.

Spent three nights here with friends while seeing shows in town. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Lots of parking. Good social scene. Plenty of walkable options for food across the street. Close to the airport —

Reservation via Booking. Co. Did not make it through; unsure which side the lag occurred on. However, Eric and Rachel were very calm and professional in ensuring my little family and I received a choice room. This was especially helpful when we were driving from a far distance. Hotel Environment: Very nice & updated, Lobby — club like feel with background music, fireplace, boardgame area, pool table and bar. Also a snack area with microwave in a corner nook. Pool: Nice with sitting area couches and rocking chairs. Was busy in late afternoon, we asked for towels but none were brought out. They were filled the next day though. Room: Cozy, modern. Door latch was busted for sliding bathroom door (314) but they sent someone immediately after informed. Overall: We enjoyed our time here and would recommend. I would choose this location over the Marriott or other brands as this location seemed to provide some social activity outside of just the pool and also had food/Walgreen's/Ralphs in walking distance. With the lack of customer service in so many places now a days I would certainly choose to come here in the future if we were to head out of town again. I appreciate the stress free visit.

The hotel has a mod/retro design which is very nice and unique compared to other hotels I've stayed in in the past. Check in was easy — took less than 5 minutes. Room was very clean and neat with plenty of outlets for multiple device charging. The only thing that I could say was a problem for me was that I felt like my room's lighting was a little dim.

Came to town for concert and stayed overnight at the ALOFT. We had a beautiful stay. The room was clean and stylish. Would definitely stay there again.

Have your own hotel sponsored party! There were too many people and hotel guests couldn’t enjoy the pool AT All! BUT the hotel is great and so is the staff!

+ Very clean and modern inside. Everything seems new. + fun hipster vibe + staff is friendly and courteous — smelled like pot smoke in the hall. — arriving late meant no parking at the hotel. Overflow parking is several blocks away. When walking back from overflow parking, head west to walk back on Sepulveda, which is well lit.

I like this hotel. It is clean, the beds are comfortable enough and the windows are neat. The clock is a piece of garbage, throw them out. There are plenty of plugs near the bed which is nice. They don't have a tub. I think a shower stall is fine, but if I work long hours or do an amazing amount of walking I want a bath after. The pool looks nice, but I always forget trunks. They lobby is clean and modern. I'm not a fan of the bar or the music.

Very cool modern decor. Bed felt like it had a waterproof pad under the sheets, if you like sleeping on crinkly rubber. Very clean. Low water pressure in shower. No room service or extra toiletries, just an overpriced store area in lobby.

Modern retro vibe. Nice clean rooms. Easy check in/out. Check out is noon so that's a plus. Close to food and lax airport. 2 miles to beach. 20min drive to downtown LA. Hotel has a very young cool vibe.

They offer a $5.00 credit at their Wxyz bar for each day room service is declined. I stayed 4 days qualifying for $15.00, only received $10.00 because they said I needed to :"sign up" on the first day. My notification was good enough for them to skip room completely. My room had no electric power at 2am during last night. I got dressed in the dark to go to lobbie to investigate. I was told it would be on at 4am… "I should have a had flashlight and notification on table". Course I was not notified because I was in the green program that they claimed I wasn't.

The room was very nice, and our car was kept safe while we were gone for 8 days. But the most welcoming part of aloft was the shuttle driver Juvenal, he was SO nice! When he picked us up from the airport he welcomed us back home sincerely and with a warm smile. Thank you for being a friendly person Juvenal, it is very rare now a days to cross paths with people like you.

Always a good stay and my go-to hotel when I need to be near LAX. Rooms at Aloft are nicely kept, roomy for the price. The layout of the king rooms are a bit better, especially if you like giant bean-bag chairs. W XYZ is great, especially on weekends. Have heard some great local talent there.

Very helpful and friendly staff here. Neat place and nice rooms. Great atmosphere and conveniently located close to the Airport. Also there’s a nice incentive to not ordering room service. $5 per day.

Location to airport is great. Quiet. Location to food and shops is good. Staff not to great. Called in morning to ask about breakfast they said 11am. I go down 10.30 wait in line for 15mins than was told no more hot food for sale. Not good enough.

I would totally recommend this place if you’re with a group of friends, I’ve been in many hotels in LA and this one is just great, something is missing to give it a 5/5 Staff are great, food needs improvement and recreational wise is a 5/5, the pool is nice and the bar has a great look. There’s also a pool table in the lobby that you can use while chatting with your friends, the lobby also looks great and warm. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool but by the looks it seemed from a 5 star hotel, looks new.

Airport shuttle departs every 30 minutes, no additional charge. Pick up also available if you call. Secured parking area ($15/night, not included) and great room. Bed was soft and comfortable, sun blocking window covers for day sleepers. Always enjoy staying here!

This is a really neat spot in El Segundo. There is a good amount of parking and it is conveniently located to easily get around the area. The lobby is bright and fun with games available if you want to hang out, and the bar looks like a happening spot. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in an aloft, but the hotel is newer, so they are nice and updated.

Here is very large and cleaned, but they are not close to airport. You have to take bus by going airport.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was extra ($10-15 a night), which I wasn't expecting. Had to check out early and they were friendly about it and said they would work with Expedia (who I booked through) to resolve it. I have stayed at another Aloft. Unfortunately, this one wasn't as clean. The shower and bathroom sink clearly were not cleaned, and the floor was obviously not vacuumed. The lobby is really nice, though. I would stay here again if it was a good deal.

I've stayed at another Aloft before and had an amazing experience. As for this Aloft, our room was somewhat loud and the bathroom did not feel clean. Otherwise, everything else about it was fine, and the lobby area was very nice.

This is the roughest Aloft hotel we've ever stayed at. The rooms could use some maintenance and repair. The rooms are small, and the parking is expensive for not being covered, but I'm guessing that has more to do with the proximity to the airport. The staff is great though. We were there with a large group that included kids and adults and they were very accommodating, which is nice.

Nice hotel. The rooms were styled similar to a dorm room and are pretty small. Watch out for rooms on the main floor since it can get pretty loud in the lobby in the evening. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a grocery store across the street. There was a booger on the inside of the bathroom sliding door of the room I had.

Nice, clean, and quiet rooms. Live music at the bar. Nearby to several food spots and a short trip over to the metro station.

Very bad home they do not charge the amount announced claiming that it gives you a handicapped room which you do not need. Most of the rooms are on the street and very noisy. To avoid!

Nice location across from good food and stores. The feel is very modern/urban and the rooms are very cute. The views are limited, I had a nice cvisual of a back alley and the hallways seem very bare bones, but the rooms made up for what the hallways lacked. 10 min drive from LAX.

Didn't get off to a great start here. Let me share how: -They wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for toothpaste. -There was a clump of hair on top of the shampoo dispenser in my shower when I got here. -My sheets were put on the bed upside down. -One of the two elevators is out of commission. -The pool is quite nasty. They only salvage a 2 star because their internet is good. If you have other decent options, look there first.

Beautiful hotel keeping in the aloft theme. Staff was very nice and hotel was clean. My only complaint was that there was a party in the room next door to mine, but that's what sound machine apps are for!

Ok. One of the elevators was down and there were too many people to only be utilizing one elevator. The rooms were ok nothing special. Didn't care for the sliding bathroom door at all. Big hipster vibe. Beautiful lobby very open hence the name aloft.

Good hotel, spacious rooms that have two queen bed setup for small families. Good pool and workout area. Nice public seating overlooking the pool with a no pun intended pool table. Plenty of parking space available. Good for a thrifty stay as it is across from Ralph's and a strip mall with good eats.

After my flight got cancelled, LAX got me a room here and I have loved my stay! Very attentive and nice front desk employees and the room was very nice and modern. The lobby seems very fun and warm. Pool was very clean and nice!

First time in an Aloft and my wife & I enjoyed it. We found the hotel atmosphere to be modern and our rooms were comfortable and clean. Service seemed pretty good, but we didn't make use of billiards table, bar, or retail area.

Aloft hotels are very consistent across the board. I love the Aloft brand. This hotel very strongly smelled like weed in many places. That's not a huge problem, but what does "non-smoking" mean any more? I do understand that the hotel allows some pets, but five dachshunds? When I was going checking in and going up to my room, a guest was walking around with five of these little, but very loud dogs. I did share an elevator with them, but I'm very glad I didn't share a floor or wall with them. Other than that… the hotel was just fine.

Was there for a party on the patio off from the lobby. It was nice. The employees were very helpful. DJ was good. Only thing that stops me from giving 5 Stars is that other guests walked through the patio to access the lower deck. So it wasn't fully private. Thayer did have reserved signs on the table before the party started, but once it started those were removed.

Spent a night here. The room was very clean. Interestingly, the lobby was lively in the evening, more that I expected from a hotel bar. The bed was stiff for my king, but comfortable nonetheless. Would stay here again if needed.

Very modern hip hotel. Small but comfortable rooms with refrigerators, and windows that open. Pool table in lobby and nice comminal area and bar with a nice swimming pool area outside. Relatively close to LAX with a grocery store and a number of dining options across the street.

Worst experience in a hotel stay we've ever experienced. 2 days straight that housekeeping forgot to clean the room. Left at 10am and got back at 11:30 pm and the place was not cleaned… asked for change for $100 bill and no one had change. To top it off TV doesn't work. Which really sucks when you're waiting around for housekeeping to clean your room at 12am! Totally unacceptable. Especially when it's 2 nights in a row. And front desk does absolutely NOTHING to make you feel appreciated!

When we checked in it was through Delta and we were having a horrible night. It was around 11:30 PM the girl at the front desk was so rude. We had not ate since early that morning. We asked her were we could get a bit to eat. She said nowhere around there only a burger place down the street. We said we had a hard night an saw a bar there we asked if we could get a drink. She said NO the bar was closed. She was just mean. So I went and sat at the bar and saw somebody with a drink. I asked the bartender if we could get a drink. Oh my gosh she was so nice, she said to stay as long as we want. She would be happy to serve us. Then we saw a snack area to the side with salads etc (why did the front desk girl not tell us about that! ) Again the girl that worked the bar was awesome, and we were so blessed to have here there that night. She made a terrible night turn into an ok night. Thank you! I wish I had her name, she was so happy and sweet!

Fast check-in and clean. Lot's of energy in this place. No tub in my room and they had trouble keeping up with the coffee in the morning but I did have a Kcup machine in my room, so no issue there. Very friendly and next to a supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Good shuttle to and from the airport. I don't give it a five since I feel it might not be a little pricy for a Friday night, but hey — it's close to LAX. I did not use the fitness, so my rating doesn't reflect that.

Aloft at El Segundo was a very pleasant experience. The employees of the managers everyone that works at the hotel were amazing and very courteous. I especially enjoyed the fact that I can bring my doggies with me and they catered to our needs. The beds for extra comfortable the rooms were spacious and the Linens were nice overall we had an amazing experience at the Aloft Hotel. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was excellent. Friendly staff the room itself was big. Everything was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Very classy place.

Check in experience was a disaster. Took more than 40 minutes. Then deleted my reservation twice in the process. Charged my credit card twice. They offered me a free cocktail at the bar to compensate, but didn't ask first if I even drank cocktails. They also don't sell water at the breakfast quick serve because they provide a free bottle of water in your room, but I had drank that one and wanted to buy another. I was told no.

Multiple, super snotty front desk staff (you're in the hospitality industry, it's your job to be courteous, and I'm sorry, needing a key replacement because the one you give doesn't work, isn't so much of an inconvenience you must give attitude for coming down and asking for a new one) Clean and new rooms but horrible location and whole side of hotel is disturbed by construction throughout the day right outside the hotel. Modern funky rooms, which look nice, but on work trips, would be nice to have a tub to relax in after working hours on end.

They were bumping some serious house, and the room smelled thick of cologne. It was the perfect Euro experience with all of the amenities of being in LA. The room was appropriately euro trash funk, and they have psuedo balconies that open to the outside world. They have a little guard rail made of solid metal pipes. Jumpers take note, the guard rail is all or nothing. If you're thinking about climbing onto the ledge and throwing a pity party to get some attention, that's not going to happen. You're going to need to commit to doing the thing, which is for the best really. You're not going to waste a lot of time agonizing over will you or won't you. It will be a few seconds if freefall, and you'll splat in the pavement below.

Everything is new which is why they got the first 3 stars. Bathrooms do not have privacy (you can hear all bodily functions). And the bar is poorly run. It feels like a hostel environment.

Seemed like a fun hotel. Had a young vibe to it in the lobby area with music playing and the bar area right there too. There is an outdoor pool as well. I was only there for a quick overnight but slept well and the staff seemed accommodating.

This hotel lobby is a bar, complete with loud music. I was worried I would hear it from the room but I didn't. Room was nice and modern, complete with a bean bag chair. Super dog friendly, they brought my pup his own bed, bowl, and treat for his visit. I'd come back, if the price was a little lower. For what I paid, there should at least be a complementary breakfast.

Very loud hotel rooms. Hallways echo forever. HVAC unit would kick on and off every 30 seconds and was loud. Front desk workers seemed overwhelmed and were not very attentive. They couldn't hear customers because of the loud music in the bar. Comfy bed though! Would find another place to stay next time in the area.
